Hi im 17, and started my Natural health course. Batchelor of health science (naturopathy) from Australia, I have met people like minded, and have similar belief systems as to mine. The practices used in our studies break down, and do not end up poisoning people like pharma does. Its holistic healing and treatment of health and longterm can take care of yourself and prepare to ride the wave of change. Its going to be hard to change people, but for that to happen i need to change myself. What im going to do to my patients i need to do myself. With them, riding their wave and alleviating and preventing their stressful energy. It will be hard to change some people, I may not succeed with some people. But I know i will change some. My mum never made it, she wasnt cured by Biomedicine, it only helped her for some time..
I believe this is why im doing what im doing, not for her, not for me. But for us, I will sacrafice everything, even at 17. I will punch a hole in the earth and the health system and i'll go down for it.

Congratulations on starting your new course of study. There are many many different healing traditions and systems worldwide there is so very much to learn from each of them. Naturopathy incorporates many good modalities.

Allopathic medicine may often seem to be just pharmaceutical pill pushing but there are good and knowledgeable doctors who still heal their patients and they are especially good for immediate medical emergencies and trauma. You have quite the adventure ahead of you!

Good for you, it's heartening to see one so young preparing to make a difference.

Take it easy though, small steps. No use 'going down for it' before you've hardly got out of the starting gates. :)

Greetings, thanks so much for speaking up!
I find on this forum - and generally - alternative therapists are very guarded and cautious about speaking up on health issues. I would guess there are areas where you could get into trouble with vested interests or professional bodies if promoting one 'remedy' over another. After all, make no mistake, our medical systems ARE full-blown TYRANNY!

So people on here who post info seem to be the concerned citizens & amateurs who research stuff and find that the info IS out there.

I am (trying to be) one of those. I am drawn to the subject.

So I hope you are cautious and circumspect about what you can and cannot say, but beyond that I really hope that you will share, as you learn, I am sure that many will really appreciate your input.

Personally, from what I have heard, the Naturopathic paradigm should be the core of our Medicine.

I have been investigating Crohns. A friend, totally immersed in the Allopathic view, is on IMMUNE SUPPRESSING DRUGS. He is heading towards loss of sections of his bowels and/or a colostomy bag.
I asked him if he had received any advice on digestion, diet etc. NOTHING. I discovered that he is on a very low salt diet, which might prevent adequate HCL in he stomach.

Going onto Crohns charity info websites there is no advice, in all the vast array if propaganda, about digestion, diet etc. Nothing on what causes the problem or lifestyle changes that could reduce the problem. These charities appear to be controlled by a 'hidden hand' that promotes drugs.

Listening to Naturopathic information I discovered that:

1. Naturopaths have cured Crohns
2. They recommend HCL and Pepsin supplements (and Apple Cider Vinegar) to assist the stomach to generate enough acid to digest proteins completely so that they do not cause bowel irritation
3. They have protocols to heal a leaky gut
4. Diet regimens can be tailored, but in essence a raw/veg based diet is a good start.
5. Gluten intolerance can be reduced if proteins are correctly digested.

Basically wherever you look in Medicine, but particularly where drug profits are, you find concealment of the CAUSES of a disease and suppression of ANY THERAPY THAT IS NOT PATENTED.

So again its all about 'follow the money' Sadly.

Good luck with it & keep posting!

i AGREE, i love all the modalities and traditional and ancient. IM GOING TO AND I WILL, be a naturopath. Then incorporate massaging to open up and for energy to flow freer and to not be stagnant. Biomedicine doesnt care chronic illness, boosting your health and vitality does. I love biomedicine because it saved my mum and other people from near death experiences, We are learning abit of biomedicine in course now, only a few weeks in. But long term, It wont scale, itl'll deplete all of your chemicals and fry your receptors. I love the advice, and you. I have the will for this, but it will be heart but will toughen my heart and soul. Its why im starting at 17 and not any other age.

Reality was broken down for me faster and quicker, I lost a lot of people and started waking up at 16... Have tried to make a difference with everything. I was set on dedicating my life to healing only last year... Half way through year 12. Even now still lose people, cant get you down.. Use their will always a part of them in you.. They are never dead. Just spilling out everything because what i wanna do correlates to the experiences I have had. Love you.

I joined at 16. Avalon, Ive seen some stuff for my time. Not much as you though. Im dedicating my life to this. I want to make a difference, we need people causing uproars here. Everyone my age smoked and drinked and gave up earlier though. Some lost the plot at even 15.. They never wanna make a change to stop smoking or being an alcoholic. They sunk, and so did their spirit. I will be the people drastically changing them and people like them and will live in the city my whole life for this reason.. Cant leave and go to fairy land forest, nows NOT the time.

Good for you, it seems you are on the path. That is the first step on a long journey. My advice would be, do not try to change people. That is an insurmountable task. Better to serve as an example for change. Be the best that you can be and your light and energy will fill a space otherwise occupied by negative forces. The positive aspects of your life and attempts will prevail. Light is exponentially more powerful than darkness. That is because darkness does not exist, it is merely the absence of light. Light and love are the default settings of the universe and you are to be commended for embracing them. The best of luck to you.

Yeah being the example of change is important, this will be a tough but fullfilling journey, not only does talking to people and interacting positively creating change. But being knowledgeable on natural healing will be potent. Im already learning things and im not even a month in.. And a great passion for it.. Even amplify this by 4 years. Thankyou so much :) Bless ya

In your defense Megrubbieswet, I found it very insulting for someone to project on you that you were oblivious to the fact that "there are good and knowledgeable doctors who still heal their patients and they are especially good for immediate medical emergencies and trauma", suggesting you were another delusional fanatic rejecting the entire medical establishment in favor of alternative and put themselves above you as if you needed to be told this. That's another form of establishment defensiveness I'm sure you've also found regularly.

I'm meeting more and more young people who so wisely get the whole big picture fully like it was obvious to me you did, and realize that to honor their own integrity cannot compromise it, but also realize that they have to maneuver wisely through the sea of very easily triggered establishment defenders who hate having their deeply entrenched beliefs threatened at many different levels.

You have my greatest respect, encouragement and well wishes for a powerful and rewarding journey.

Mate so true, I need you to reply to this....
I know.. People dont like their certainty challenged. I have just completed my first trimester of subjects and have passed them all. ALTERNATIVE DWEEBS ARENT DWEEBS. WE learn biomedicine, we know its effective for instantaneously saving lives. They should stop dismissing us as quackery, we have associations and dedicated fields for years contributing to Alternative's vision.. Im focusing on Naturopathic medicine and methods and will be working with an association in Australia. Its a long journey and i think things wont heat up for a while hey...
Thanks for your comment and im sorry its been so long..
