Question About Help With Build

I intend to try to put some of it to use by myself. After 3.5 years of trying to get someone interested on forums ended in nothing – just like their 130 years of trying get anyone to listen to them ended also in nothing – I have had enough!
I will try to build something small myself.
To do something without any help at all is impossible.
Perhaps I can get some advice here at last?
On electronics engineering or mechanical issues when/if such arise?
Or advice in helping me to correctly analyse the outcome?

I'm still trying to get my electricity monitor from a neighbor. WE were going to try the electro-magnetics and he was making progress, (he's a tinkerer) and now whenever I call him, I don't get my equipment back. I called him because I found my older set, and would give him that one as it's bigger and bulky in my pocket. I'm putting out some thoughts for Louis to return them.
