How to unlock any iPhone without a password in less than 1 minute

I've just stumbled across this video, giving step by step instructions on how to access pretty much most files on any locked iPhone very easily.

I had already managed this to a degree on my daughters phone. I've now tried this on my locked phone and it does work :fear:

In a few easy steps you have full access to any locked iPhone in full.

I've not posted this to give people a means of snooping (although if your partners playing away I would say its justified ;)

But in the hope that if the FBI are reading posts, they can save themselves further attorney bills having to sue Apple for access... ;)

Think we can safely confirm the whole Apple v FBI thing is a complete side show with ulterior motives now...

They had a similar flaw with their software years ago.

Most of the time when people "hack" things - they do what you see above. They find flaw's or exploits in the software's programming and playing with it to see what you can do with it. Sometimes the results are good! others do not amount to anything.

I do remember something similar a while back now TigaHawk, thanks for reminding me.

It's so easy to do, it takes literally seconds and would be untraceable that anyone has had access. There is no way the FBI would not know this. Its about as bigger proof as needed that this whole FBI v Apple case is just complete theatrics...

Interesting . So I just went on to try that on my iPhone . Naturally , this would be an easy way in and is already something Apple should look into :bigsmile:

However .. it only works if in your Settings -> Messages -> Send as SMS ( sub : Send as SMS when iMessage is unavailable ) is ON.

When set on OFF , sharing is disabled so you can't get in easily .

No doubt though there are many more tricks and glitches enabling skilled operator to get in if they know how . From what I've read most big computer companies are paying a team of people to sit on exactly the same task and explore the vulnerabilities ..


P.S. : And now I can't get in anymore ..doubt my senses this works either way unless you happen to activate your access without noticing it , in between.
