Thought it was worth a share. The photos have been enhanced by an app by the looks of it but you get the general idea.

Surrounded by waves and frequency everywhere we go...

Another article containing images of WIFI visuals;


Nickolay Lamm (writing for MyDeals), who, working with M. Browning Vogel, Ph.D, took the data about Wi-Fi coverage areas on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and superimposed it on actual images.

The first images from that article are just coloured LEDs waved about with an open shutter and not remotely like real wi-fi signals - even if they were visible. It's very misleading of that article to suggest they have clearly defined boundaries because, like all signals, they decline according to the inverse-square law.

The second photos are a little bit more realistic.

If only radio signals could be made visible. It would make antenna design, interference tracing and achieving the desired service areas so much easier!
