Ep. 418 FADE to BLACK Jimmy Church w/ Don Schmitt, Tom Carey: The Children of Roswell

"Don Schmitt and Tom Carey are probably the most comprehensive researchers on Roswell in the world...and tonight they join us to discuss their latest book: The Children of Roswell. This is another great, open-ended conversation on the subject and we cover every angle" ...

"Thomas Carey and Donald Schmitt have been researching the Roswell crash for nearly 30 years. They discuss their new book about the relatives of Roswell witnesses. Since many of those originally involved are either deceased or were sworn to secrecy, Carey and Schmitt have been concentrating on second-hand testimony to fill in the blanks in the record and perhaps reveal new leads. To date, they estimate that they have interviewed about 600 witnesses. When asked how much testimony might be enough, Schmitt replied that "for the greatest story of the millennium, there will never be enough."

This is a very good discussion I 've listened to the first hour and they are bringing
up basic points that you tend to forget in other interviews and I usually shout at the
radio or vid. The fact that this was the base of the elite air force atomic strike force
where the planes that dropped the bombs on Japan came and they did not know
what a radar/weather balloon was ? obvious cover story and much more......

The 509th was not a 'micky mouse . Sgt Bilko ' unit.
It was an elite bombing unit at the time....

The wing's 509th Operations Group is a direct descendant organization of the World War II 509th
Composite Group (509th CG). The 509th CG had a single mission: to drop the atomic bomb. The
group made history on 6 August 1945, when the B-29 Superfortress, "Enola Gay," piloted by Col
Paul W. Tibbets, Jr., dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. The B-29 "Bockscar,"
piloted by Maj Charles Sweeney flew over the Japanese mainland on 9 August 1945, and dropped
the second atomic bomb on Nagasaki.

It was not only Jesse Marcel photographed with the cover up weather balloon material...

There is obviously much more info about this as most UFO enthusiast know,
but if you are new to the subject , its still one of the seminal incidents in the
field of ufology.

Thanks Cidersomerset ...

I agree the interview covers lots of smaller details and facts in regards to the incident.

What does RAAF mean in the context of that newspaper headline? Surely not royal australian air force?

RAAF - Roswell Army Air Field

this was before the U. S. Air Force was established.

I have a personal contact/friend who grew up in Roswell. His high school friend told him of an incident that had occurred during the summer of 1947. This story was related a few years later to my friend, probably in the early 50's.

In any case, the story went like this. His friend's family owned a ranch outside of Roswell and one afternoon his family's ranch worker came in and reported that he found something on one of the mesas and that he wanted the rancher to go see it. The ranch hand had no idea what it was, so the rancher went out to see it, and when he got back called the sheriff as it seemed to be some sort of crash. The sheriff evidently called the military, and the military went out to see it, and sealed off the area quickly, and for a week or so came and went in great numbers.

I am not sure which crash this was, as there were multiple crashes in the same time frame in or near Roswell. It may be a crash people generally know about, or another crash.

Its always interesting to hear stories like this from people you know and trust, as it affirms that which you have heard online or in books.

Just an fwiw....

That is the basic start of events as far as we know.......

oh, people, please read Dr. Joseph Farrell's extremely detailed "Roswell and the Reich"; the Roswell crash can be explained in completely terrestrial terms;

I certainly don't deny the existence of extra-terrestrial craft but the Roswell crash doesn't fit into that scenario; the Roswell crash involving "aliens" (now the "officious" story in non-mainstream media) is a psy-op-

please read Farrell's info- it's very compelling-

please be well all-

I have listened and posted many of Joseph Farrell's presentations and he
makes very good arguments about it being to do with the NAZI's, but its not
conclusive and does not explain the bodies. You may not agree with
there being bodies at the crash , but I'm still open that they are possibly
Eben clones or something else ? I'm not convinced they were deformed
Japanese midget prisoners of war or similar speculation but who knows ?
Only the witness's who were there and the military ................

I was listening to Linda -Moulton Howe earlier on The Dark Journalist and
she was talking about an earlier crash in Missourri in 1941 where three
Eban type ET's were recovered .

@Cidersomerset

Hi!

I greatly appreciate and respect your commentary to my posting;

but you didn't state if you actually read Farrell's book and his very plausible explaination of the bodies; if not please do so-

it's just my own cheap 25-cent opinion but I think we all need to be aware of the mind games being played on all of us out there and I just feel whenever anything "weird" happens and subsequently revealed (even sometimes in the alternative media) it is blamed on aliens instead of advanced terrestrial technologies (and let's face it: they "ain't" beneficial to humanity);

please stay well Cider and all other readers-

Larry
