America is offering 4 billion a year for 10 years, 40 billion dollars. Israel wants 5! Israel is ready to compromise on 4.5 / 4.3 a year, but if you look at the mechanism, if you look at the way it grows, you come again and again to the same question - for God's sake who is the super power here?
Gideon Levy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gideon_Levy)
This week's all day presentation at the American Press Club under the umbrella title Israel's Influence: Good or Bad for America? has been dubbed the anti AIPAC committee and takes Walt and Mearsheimers' work (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Israel_Lobby_and_U.S._Foreign_Policy) to another level.
The information presented there is truly breathtaking, from it's exposure of among many subjects, the establishment of Dimona and how Israel actually got it's hands on the initial supplies of highly enriched uranium, to how young, impressionable staffers on "the Hill" are groomed for high paying lobbying positions once their (in most cases) short term staff work is over, not to mention Israel's influence on the film industry as well as many other salient topics.
Here's the line up of speakers complete with timeline (if you go to Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVk4dzL6ypI) and view the comments, the second-to-top comment by Joe Caner has links to all the speeches for easier access - alternatively just download it with a YT downloader and watch it at your leisure)
