Dear avalonians,

There is that subject that seems to be common to all men all over the world, from Japan to West coast America, this is not linked to any secret project or anything, it seems to be only due to human relations.

Even if there are exceptions of course, and if there are other parameters that have to be taken into account, women tend to be more attracted by unsensitive men and men tend to be more attracted by sensitive women.

That is because people in general attach the idea of sensitivity to a female image, and the idea of unsensitivity to a male image, yet there are studies showing today that sensitivity has nothing to do with the gender. There is the same proportion of sensitivity to both sides, sensitivity doesn't seem to be naturally attached to any of the two genders.

So whether it is conscious or not (probably not in most cases), men unconsciously understand that they attract women much more when they have an unsensitive attitude and women unconsciously understand that they attract more men when they have a sensitive attitude.

So in order to be more attractive, men understand that they need to desensitize themselves, the more sensitive they are, the deeper they have to go into extremes to desensitize themselves (like in the movie "into the wild", where the main character needs to go to the utmost extreme because of its incredibly high sensitivity).
The athletes of the extreme are probably all highly sensitive men.

People in general need to detach the idea of sensitivity of a female image, and need to understand that there is absolutely no link with it.

To go further into that logic, I also feel that this is where homesexuality comes from, maybe you have noticed that homosexual men are usually highly sensitive men and homosexual women are generally highly non-sensitive women. It's probably a mental disorder that is caused by the fact that these two kinds of people realize after a while that they don't attract the other gender and thus with time get to thinking that they must be homosexual.

This is I believe a major topic to save the men and heal the wounds of the world.

(When I say "mental disorder" or "psychological disorder", I don't mean that I think those people shouldn't be free to do what they want, I wouldn't want to be hurting anyone, I believe that 99% of the people of this earth must have one or another psychological disorder due to one or another suffering that they have experienced in their life, good psychologists are all we need, I don't think anybody should be locked up or anything because of that, that's what would be truly crazy)

Women(whether they admit it or not) categorize sensitive men as beta, not alpha, and treat them accordingly. I'm clairvoyant, so I'm sensitive.. But if I display that sensitivity, female attraction for me decreases. When I don't, and play up my more "manly" attributes, I'm more successful. In other words, I get laid more :)

*shrug I don't make the rules

No, I do not have a mental disorder, or a psychological disorder. I'm gay and I'm perfect. So you have a mental disorder do you? Would you like to talk about it?

I think you messed up on the title of your thread.

You surely meant to title it: The Emasculation of Men.

good on you for sharing your opinion... in your own words.... to the best you understand it... the path of knowledge is a never ending road... you may have something there... and I agree... if anyone studies the DSM... technically everyone suffers almost everything listed in there to some degree, in many cases the only difference is the degree, and threshold and the context of the individual... (it's enough to make anyone hypochondriac... ) it could equally be titled a book of human nature, behaviour...

This is a good point to bring up. And it goes deeper than just gender lines. We all wear so many different masks, in different situations, not just the sensitive versus tough masks. Even the dumb versus clever mask, or the humble versus proud, etc. it's all part of the programming to survive, and adapt, for maximum results.
