I found this unusual video on You-tube.com, and while the age of the burial might be brought in question, the occupant of the sarcophagus seems to have come from a civilization of higher technology than ours. It was found deep in a Russian coal mine. There was a device about the size of a cell phone with the body. This is similar to another post on this forum some time ago. The man was wired up electronically. He also had long hair and beard. The society which found him seemed to have shampooed his hair and fitted him with a newer device and returned his coffin where it had been found. I will try to retrieve this item from my files and post it for comparison. His burial was also claimed to have been very old, but not 800 million years old.

My thought is that these undead bodies are in some sort of suspended animation sent forward into their future to convey some message to those who would find them. It must be important. The writings below are being spoken by a Russian woman:

"Objects found in coal" is an interesting search--some are probably hoaxes, others unexplainable. Anything inside a coal seam would have to be dated in the millions, although how you could get to 800 prior to coal's formation, I don't know.

Sealed from oxygen, of course it will not decay. As for others, in normal burial not in a ph environment that creates a mummy, but instead of their own volition, holding all cells intact with the life essence, this is outright bizarre. If you quit moving and lowered your body temperature by several degrees, you could probably live 300 years.

If the clothes are not even corrupted, it almost leans towards atmospheric or chemical conditions that repel decay, rather than the person somehow doing it. But these stories are well known in Indian and Buddhist folklore for quite some time.

I would wager there are many not even documented that are uncorrupt after death. I also wonder about Paramhansa Yogananda who did not even begin to decompose and exuded a most wonderful fragrance after death. It wasn't just "saints" canonized by the RCC. It had to be in the thousands maybe more.

Even if 800 Million years is way off, even 100 million years would cause several questions to be asked. If humans have been on Earth so long, it would appear that their civilizations have been repeatedly destroyed. The question remains, WHY and by WHAT or WHOM ???? OP did say straight away that the age was questionable, and as the whole thing appears to have been crunched through Google translate, perhaps it was 800 myriads of years. Certainly, when humans translate English to Russian, or vice-versa, they often change the meaning. First it is Tisulsky, then Tikalsky. I've never heard the particular story. When trying to discern online, I usually find that things from a .org or .net are less "frilly"; if you search and find a lot of colorful sites with the same thing copied over, I tend to dismiss it as a "traffic generator", which "Before It's News" would be an example.

That hammer head with wooden handle looks pretty sketchy to me; one plausible explanation I have seen is that, once a coal seam is being mined, exposed portions can liquefy and then someone can toss anything into it and then dry it back into a chunk. I hate to see just one blurred picture or 4 seconds of video claiming something extraordinary. You would think there should be many more pictures and longer shots. Event happened in 1969; that girl looks much more recent, and you don't get a nice clear profile of someone lying in a stone box very easily. Plus, those are, um, two different stone boxes (is the top one marble?). Ironically, sarcophagus means "flesh eater" and it didn't do a very good job of that. Also, she started to blacken when the fluid was removed. The best analysis would be from a Russian who was alive then, who either knew the story and/or could translate the original for us. Is a name given for the professor? Sometimes the people and/or places don't even exist.

The one about S. Yogananda, yes, I'm familiar with that. Has anyone in Russia actually published the analysis? I believe they do have a lot of science we don't. As a minor example, one time in school I measured spectral emission lines of a very common element, sodium or something like that, which I was supposed to identify by comparing my spectrum to the knowns. I measured it three times and kept getting a line that was not in my textbook. I went down in the library to check other resources and couldn't find anything in three or four books. That would probably be the 'Dorchester Bell', or Dorchester Pot (made from a strange zinc/silver alloy)

The story first appeared in the Boston Transcript in 1851 or 52. Miners found it embedded in rubble whilst blasting through rock in Dorchester, Massachusetts.

Looking a little further into this, I found this snippet (uncorroborated):

Different artifact. That one was in rock, not coal; I think the other one was black and had an extended handle, and a solid surface without all those etchings.

The one pictured here seems to be not just bell-shaped but an actual musical instrument, as that type of material corresponds to the Zildjian "family secret" composition of their gongs & cymbals. One of the oldest companies in the world, going back to the 1600s; Beretta goes back to around 1450; the oldest being some Japanese family restaurants going back to around 600.

But that report seems a little more solid than a lot of others, and if you can get M. I. T. scratching their heads saying they don't see any reason it's not 1,000,000 years old, you've basically baffled the entirety of human knowledge. Although, a nitric acid scratch as done on jewelry does not really indicate age...it would be nice to know exactly what "battery of tests" are involved, since it's pretty tough to date an inorganic object. It was not exactly found in a rock matrix so much as a pile of blasted rubble, nevertheless, that's an extremely bizarre find that I couldn't pretend to explain. I'm assuming an art museum would at least have the capability to compare it to all known styles of craftsmanship.


Edit: I was thinking of the "Garuda bell". But on that one, you'd have to believe one guy's story versus, he could have faked it.

The proposed alternative of 50,000 years old sounds a lot more plausible to me. As far as we know there was no vegetation 800 million years ago with which to form the coal seam that this artefact was purportedly extracted from.

An age of 50,000 years on the other hand is right on the boundary of the first and second Atlantean epochs (according to Cayce). If this story is indeed true, it is my opinion an Atlantean origin is more likely. Also, we can say with reasonable confidence, based on Cayce and other sources, that the Atlanteans used sarcophagi for healing and preservation, a practice (and technology) that would fade into myth, but form the genesis of Egyptian religion, inspiring their death/resurrection cult.
