Dear Friends (all our members, and all our many guests) —

We're starting a new initiative, called The Avalon Library. A rather grand title, but it'll basically consist of a series of sizeable uploads (images, audios, videos) that will all be listed here.

Because this is a resource thread, it'll be technically 'closed'... meaning, all that will be here will be the various ongoing updates. That'll make it as easy as possible to find things.

... where, within an hour :clapping: , members rapidly donated what was needed for an annual subscription to WeTransfer (http://WeTransfer), enabling 100 Gb of files to be stored with user-friendly, permanent download links for all kinds of things, without loading up the existing Avalon server and risking logjamming the forum.

As we've been explaining on the request for funding thread (repeated here because that was for members only), this new setup is likely to be temporary, as Paul is researching a different, more broad-based resource that will enable even more material to be stored. If we do move the library, all the contents will be transferred as well and nothing will be lost.

Many will be aware that I've periodically been uploading material for sharing over the last year or so, each time with a limited (7 day) link. If anyone would like anything there to be re-uploaded permanently, just let me know on the discussion thread.

This is Henry Deacon (Arthur Neumann) at the Project Camelot 2013 Time Travel Conference. His presentation is awkward, and Henry seems very anxious — maybe with good reason, considering the nature of the material.

This really gets interesting, and important, after 36:24, when Henry starts to talk about 'The Corridor'. This is what I'd earlier referred to as 'The Jumproom to Mars' in my Dec 2007 video conversation with David Wilcock, here (http://youtube.com/watch?v=VMwJmIRF7ZE).

But although 'jumproom' was also used later by Corey Goode and Andy Basiago, who had both copied the term first made public by myself, its ACTUAL name (as Henry told me subsequently) was The Corridor. In the video here, after the 36:24 mark, Henry does an excellent job of describing it in the best way he can.

I'm quite certain the experiences Henry describes are all very real. The video is not on YouTube, as best I know, nor has this been discussed on the forum.

I have just moved the Avalon Library (http://avalonlibrary.net) from my Linode.com server to the same Singlehop server that ProjectAvalon.net runs on. Thanks to the increased disk space (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?98689-Avalon-Forum-server-software-upgrade--July-2017-&p=1165172&viewfull=1#post1165172) made available by last years server upgrade (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?98689-Avalon-Forum-server-software-upgrade--July-2017-), we can now fit both on the Avalon server, thus saving a little money for the use of the separate Linode server.

Holler if I broke something, such as some image or pdf file with an avalonlibrary.net URL isn't loading correctly.

I just now had to take AvalonLibrary.net offline, for the rest of this month, October 2018, as it was using up too much of our monthly bandwidth allotment.

I expect to reopen the Avalon Library in November 2018, with some means of limiting the amount that any given IP can download, or some other such throttle.

The Avalon Library (http://avalonlibrary.net/) is now re-open for business.

Thanks to the shutdown of the library, we got through the month of October 2018 without exceeding our monthly bandwidth allotment from Singlehop, and now we have a fresh monthly allotment to work on.

I have in place tools to monitor usage more tightly, so that I can (hopefully) block those IP's downloading too much, too fast, while allowing all ordinary usage to continue as before. Up until October 2018 (the month just ended) we never used too much, so any ordinary usage, as before, is fine.

Ugh. I'm afraid we've had to take the ebooks section of the library offline again. It had directly caused a sequence of heavy server overloads that was only relieved when we guessed correctly the ebooks were the problem, and took them down again.

The Avalon server has been down for quite a few minutes, several times, in the last half hour. Nothing we can do, I'm afraid... the server is simply overwhelmed with requests.

I don't think it's an attack: there's just a lot going on right now (including the re-opening of the ebook library (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?89859-The-Avalon-Library&p=1340363#post1340363)), and Avalon is getting a lot of attention.An update: we removed the ebooks section again, as a test — and the problem disappeared. We watched the server load numbers fall by the minute right back to normal.

So we're going to have to keep the ebooks offline until we figure out how to solve the problem without compromising the forum access. Our apologies to everyone for that — and also for the outages in the last 45 minutes or so. But it does seem resolved now.
