From a friend in Japan:

"Kumamoto Prefecture is a magnitude of 7 on the great east Japan earthquake and the great hanshin awaji earthquake, and the same size.
Primary care radioactivity is a high possibility.

Watching this site of current quakes in last 24 hours http://earthquakes.volcanodiscovery.com/ this is an unusual line up of large quakes at one time. Sure the earth and plates are always on the move but always gets my attention when we start having this many large ones at one time in such a short window especially on the ring of fire. Stay tuned in the next 24 hours.
