Declassified memo shows multiple Saudi connections to 9/11 plotters

Recently declassified information that a flight certificate of an Al Qaeda operative linked to 9/11 turned up in an envelope from the Saudi embassy in Washington is raising fresh questions about the Kingdom's ties to the terror attack.

The certificate was for Ghassan al Sharbi, an extremist captured in Pakistan and sent to Guantanamo Bay. Al Sharbi, who went to flight school with the 9/11 hijackers but did not take part in the attacks, buried a cache of documents near where he was staying in Pakistan, “including an envelope from the Saudi embassy in Washington D.C. containing his flight certificate.”

The certificate and other revelations were laid out in a 47-page work plan prepared for the FBI in June 2003 but not declassified until last July. The documents sought to verify the credibility of an FBI informant "with whom 9/11 hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar resided.” The hijackers, both Saudi citizens, crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon.

The documents list other prominent Saudis and potential links to the attacks, including:

Abdullah bin Laden – Usama bin Laden’s half-brother who had been assigned to the Saudi embassy in Washington, D.C. as an administrative officer.

Hamad Alotaibi – Assigned to the Saudi Embassy Military Division in Washington D.C. and possibly visited by a 9/11 hijacker.

Mohammed Fakihi – A Saudi diplomat assigned to the embassy in Berlin. His business card was found in the possession of an associate of the hijackers in Germany.

Mohammed Al-Qudhaeein and Hamdan Al-Shalawi – Saudi students suspected of participating in a “dry run” for the 9/11 attacks during a 1999 flight. The pair said they were travelling to Washington D.C. to attend a party at the Saudi embassy and that the embassy had paid for their air fare.

The declassified document is gaining new attention as lawmakers are pressuring President Obama, currently visiting the Kingdom, to declassify the remaining 28 pages of the 9/11 Commission Report. Those 28 pages supposedly detail Saudi connections to the plot.

What other thrusts are going on right now to build up tensions in the middle east, it seems like everything else has failed (russia boogie man, Iran boogie man etc etc etc...)

Should these documents be pulled out and bandied about the 9/11 truth movement would be derailed for another 10+ years as "average joe" will be convinced we NOW have the answer... *again*

Well...

Interesting observation, I wasn't aware of that... Hard to think that masculinity needs MORE support in this world, but then I think that "black lives matter" "feminism" "Veganism" and quite a few other movements are purposefully started to derail the feminine energies through emotional manipulation.

Where as (heavily flawed) Science is used to keep the Masculine oriented stuck in side channels and distracted along with the above movements which cause divisiveness and further distraction...

That in a nutshell doesn't surprise me in the least... but it is still just a ploy... i.e. now that the "deal" Lindsay Williams eloquently explained (in his book Non-Energy Crisis) which was created in the late 60s (when the US went entirely off the Gold peg in '71-'72 and switched to the Petro Dollar... all based on very clear contractual obligations between the US and Saudi Arabia... is NOW HISTORY...

I don't know that we SHOULDN'T be in this prison... the majority of poeple are not very ... intellectually flexible; logic and critical thinking are foreign concepts & emotion based "rash" decisions seem to rule most peoples lives.

I think Karen Hudes has it right, outside the egg heads, who in turn could be controlled by even higher otherworld entities, for practical pragmatic, and parsimonious reasons... there is no need to go there, at least for my purposes... but I'd say she gave enough context... This whole world of military dictatorship is their world, their rules, their system... they are the current benefactors of 60% of all those income taxes... I have said in the past... that we are the TRUE CREDITORS... the debt owed to banks is ULTIMATELY OWED to the people through their beneficiary (BC Certificate) the people born into each "Corporation"... By the same token it is we the people who also have the power to forgive debt...

When was the last time you or anyone you know forgave anyone's debt?... technically we can even do this in court... the debt they are trying to collect... we have the power to forgive (or it could also be set off against the BC certificate we were issued) in private in a court of Equity... this is yet another way to say... our lack of understanding allows others to manipulate the system... on our behalf...

Such as the Saudi intention to reduce Sana to rubble?

Because they can. It's the capital area, major ports controlling access through the Red Sea--and by extension, the Suez Canal, which was a huge reason Britain put a big stamp around there in the first place (see: Oxford Movement).

Well, they can do it with an air force. Their ground forces are pretty much dead meat, discovering the uselessness of M-1 tanks, lots of those have been obliterated by "inferior" weaponry. Three of the southern Saudi provinces are historically Yemeni, and they've taken huge losses to incursions there, there is a lot of popular resistance, and they may wind up losing those provinces.

I'm impressed by the evacuation of "Blackwater" type mercenaries and the UAE contingent.

Overall, SA is just trying to install a puppet government, by inflicting the most damage in the easiest way possible. If they don't find a way to talk themselves out of it in a few days...the damage to themselves will be unavoidable; after all, the regime has about 90% disapproval there at home.

I just don't think they have the capability to even try anything in the remote areas.
