2 minutes in and he's tearing them all to pieces. Look at the reaction. Even better than when Colbert trashed Bush in 2006, and Laura Bush told him to ***** himself as he walked off stage.

I think that's funny. And brave, and intelligent, and 'spiritual', so to speak. The Obama administration has started more wars than Bush, and Larry Wilmore is calling them out on it.

Norm MacDonald and Stephen Colbert set such high standards that other comedians HAVE to be controversial and gutsy in their performances. Its a point of pride. They know theyll likely get skewered by the press, but it's really only their fellow comedians' opinions they care about.

I'm with Daozen here. I thought it was a very good performance. Hit all the right.notes. Yes, awkward as hell...but thats what it was trying to be...(and I kind of like Obama!)

Stephen Colbert makes people laugh in spite of themselves, and his air has something so like a naughty cherub that you can't hold his most outrageous arrows against him.
Wilmore wasn't very funny, but he certainly was gutsy, and though Blacks Lives Matter may not have been in the audience, he made sure they were heard anyway.
But I liked his parting shots at Obama with his remark about Guantanamo, and when he said that Michelle would really be missed in the White House, and called him "Barry"!

JOKE OF 2016 (SO FAR)

George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell. While there, they spot a red phone and ask what the phone is for.

The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth. Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so Putin writes him a check.

Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes. When she is finished the devil informs her that the cost is 6 million dollars, so she writes him a check.

Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is $5.00.

When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why Bush got to call the USA so cheaply. The devil smiles and replies, "Since Obama became PRESIDENT, the country has gone to hell, so it's a local call.
