This is a great service - but I am finding that most of the info is for USA only - is there a website that caters for information for the whole planet?

The one which Avalon uses is pretty good, Callista (although doesn't quite deliver such a range of info). Primarily Earthquakes, Volcanic Activity, Weather, Tsunami warnings plus Latest News on such events with Tabs for other areas including & outside of the USA

Thank you avid - this is the map I was looking for - we are following the fire in Alberta Canada - my husband is from Calgary so there is local interest for us.

http://earthquakes.volcanodiscovery.com/ here is another site I follow for quakes and volcanoes , you can zoom in to any area and see the actual plate topography .
