My brother brought this to my attention tonight, and I was so thoroughly shocked that I had to check up on it myself, and here it is...



"HB 1274 authorizes the state of Georgia to execute citizens by guillotine:
Georgia House of Representatives – 1995/1996 Sessions HB 1274 – Death penalty; guillotine provisions Code Sections – 17-10-38/ 17-10-44 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT
1- 1 To amend Article 2 of Chapter 10 of Title 17 of the Official
1- 2 Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the death penalty
1- 3 generally, so as to provide a statement of legislative
1- 4 policy; to provide for death by guillotine; to provide for

Just pointing out that what's pictured might not be the best example for showing a guillotine. The one pictured is a one of a kind piece of art, so unlikely this particular model would be ordered in any quantity.

Is there any evidence that guillotines were actually ordered? Govt usually publicizes that they're taking bids when buying large quantities (such as we've seen with the hollow point bullets). Would lend some credibility to the post.

Georgia's law on capital punishment for organ donors doesn't really spell out that Obama has ordered these in the thousands, so kind of misleading unless there's more evidence...

For the same reason as to why they allow the US military to conduct arrests of civilians... They expect an uprising of rebellion. Check out Jesse Ventura's and Alex Jones' videos on the FEMA concentration camps and the huge stock piles of plastic coffins.

The website in the link in my article blames it on Islam -- there's a rumor that Obama would be a covert Muslim -- but personally, the parallel I see is with Nazi Germany, where execution by guillotine was quite common for insurgents.

You know, with all that's making the news these days, we're sort of becoming used to all the horrors of what's currently going on in the world, but this here has thoroughly shocked me. I am actually sick to my stomach about this. :-/

Yes, the website does explicitly mention that. However, you can imagine that this is what the real deal will look like as well. I don't think they'd still be using the old, wooden guillotines. (I have seen one of those from up close here in Belgium, in an old castle that now serves as a museum. That particular guillotine had been used quite a lot.)

Um, the information is from a Bill (which is not a law) for a State, Georgia, from 1995. Did it ever become STATE law??? Legislators can put any kind of crap in a bill and it doesn't mean $hit until it passes through the state legislature and signed into law by the state governor.

What does this have to do with Obama? He was not even an Illinois State Senator until 1996.

I don't know whether there is any such evidence yet in the form of acquisition documents. I was kind of hoping that one of our resident US American Avalonians would be able to find confirmation of such. If such confirmation can be found, then I think it would need to be made public in some form or another.

Here on Avalon, we already know (more or less) what's coming down the pike, but the sheeple out there in the Mad World ™ don't know yet. Having the cold hard evidence of such an acquisition would certainly be an eye-opener.

First, I followed the links to the original ‘source’ for the reports. This took me to a page that looked rather like a source for Georgia’s House (Representative Teper is the alleged author of this bill). I’ll give the webmaster there the benefit of the doubt, because it is possible to cut and paste HTML, so this might have been an attempt to preserve the information. Kudos to him/her for that then. However, I went to the Georgia Legislation’s site directly and did a search for bills introduced in 1996. Sure enough, there was a bill called HB 1274, but this is its title:

In fact, there is no bill about guillotines in the entire House library that I can find. Now, it is possible that the original bill created so much negative feedback that it was wiped from the record almost immediately, and another bill with the same number created (this football team bill does sound rather bland and innocuous). The original news goes back to David Flynn’s website, and I know David didn’t fall for fakes, so it is very likely that a substitution has occurred. However, that was back in 1996. Why has the report resurfaced all over the alterweb today with claims that the bill was passed? Beats me, but there is no bill (and least not any more) and it did not pass. Just another example of ‘trust but verify’.

Of course, the reaction on the alter-websites is panic. Please, dear friend, do not panic. Yes, prophecy does make it clear that beheadings will be part and parcel of the AntiChrist’s regime. But they are not starting in Georgia—at least not yet

I saw the headline and it seemed outrageous, supposedly the Congress authorized the purchase of 30,000 Guillotines. I thought what the...you know what. Guillotines? Really? The article was published on a blog site called “sharia unveiled” and it claimed that Congress authorized this purchases, and that supposedly the regime purchased the alleged 30,000 Guillotines (and I”m thinking who even manufactures these things anymore, there would have to be a Henry Ford style assembly line somewhere rolling out hundreds of Guillotines per hour, this can't really be real...) and that half of them were to Georgia to be stored and the other half to somewhere in Montana.

This story would be outrageous, and even bizarre if it were true. But It's NOT True. This article on www.snopes.com pretty convincingly debunks the story. None of the sites carryinng this story has any tangible evidence to prove that either Congress authorized such a purchase, or that the government actually bought these things.

Another thing, the Guillotine actually shown on that sharia site, appears HERE, which appears to be a spoof of some kind. Did you really think there would be Guillotines manufactured with the name “Chanel” printed on them?

Seriously folks, I know there have been some truly outrageous reports of things done under the current Obama Regime, but this one just didn't pass the smell test, even for the Obama Regime. It's false, the government didn't buy 30,000 Guillotines, much less with “Chanel” printed on them.

That was already addressed by another poster in this thread, and I have replied to that. The website I linked this photo from explicitly stated that the guillotine shown there is indeed an artwork and not "the real deal".

I have also addressed the issue of that website claiming that Obama would be a covert Muslim and that he plans to instate sharia in the US in my opening post to this thread, and while that is not impossible, I personally don't think Obama would be a Muslim. A Nazi, yes, probably, but a Muslim, no, not likely. I don't know of too many Muslims with a cocaine addiction.

My information stated that they were manufactured in China and South Korea, so they will indeed not have "CHANEL" on them.

China does practise the public beheading of convicts, by the way. Traditionally at the start of every new Chinese year, a number of convicts will be executed by beheading in public, another number by non-public execution -- presumably by firing squad -- and yet another number of convicts will receive a pardon.
