USGS is showing it as a 6.7M and relatively shallow @ 32.4 km - also check out the planetary alignments - currently 4:

Moon-Earth-Uranus
Moon-Mars-Saturn
Neptune-Mercury-Jupiter
Venus-Sun-Earth

Expect there may be similar-sized EQs over the next few hours with a high probability to the West

Came in a minute after your post (merged now):
http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?90758-M-6.7-near-coast-of-ecuador

It was upgraded to a 6.7, so I edited the thread title accordingly.

It's a separate event (so to speak) — over a month after April's destructive 7.8, it's not an 'aftershock', though it's in the same location. I have no news yet from within Ecuador, but my first guess is that many more unstable buildings will have come down, and the rescue/rebuilding effort, still ongoing, may have been hit quite hard.

Yes, another one. Wow. I felt that (mildly) a few minutes ago, 200 miles away, though not as strongly as the 7.8 a month ago. (I slept through the 6.7 a few hours ago :) )

Dutchsinse put a crowd funding up for new equipment to help better predict quakes and turn on live 3D earthquake monitoring through youtube.

you can download Earthquake 3D here http://www.wolton.net/quake.html

why do depths on some of these seem to reach down past the center of the earth...

On May 20th 2016 we had a 4.8 earthquake off the Oregon coast. We don't normally get earthquakes that big. The prediction was a 5.0 between the 20th and 25th so close enough in my book.

I keep an eye on those quakes, a psychic prediction that rang true to me said 2 large quakes will hit off the Oregon coast before California's big one...

I believe it to the point when everyone says look out Cali, here it comes, I glance up and see Oregon is quiet, so we're cool...

true psychics can't say when, just what they saw is coming, could be tomorrow, or maybe a thousand years.

I am glad to see the science of predicting them is coming, it should become a part of weather reports, world quake watch which gives up to a week heads up for emergency workers to look around and confirm everything is ready as can be, in case it hits.
