View Full Version : How Is Life In The USA Changing?

We have lived in Cuenca, Ecuador the last four years, but visit friends and family in the USA every year.
Our recent two visits to the USA September, 2015, and May, 2016,
revealed none of the alarmist predictions.
There were no columns of US armed forces to be seen
in Houston, Texas (Enemy Nation of Jade Helm 15) or in Charlotte, North Carolina.
There was a similar lack of negativity in Miami, Florida.
No chemtrails were visible.
No militarised police in sight.
No police or military drones were sighted.
No one was dying in the streets from chemical or biological weapons.
Hospitals continue to grow in number and size.
There were no obvious ETs in their UFOs attempting to disclose their existence to the working (debt-slave) poor.
The US Dollar still worked, despite the FED.
I was able to renew my Texas driver’s license in a normal, tranquil procedure.
(The airports no longer have the incessant recordings to watch for suspicious baggage. 2016)
There was a citizen-sponsored event to raise money for the family of a Houston police officer shot and killed in the line of duty (2015).
The cost of food in the supermarkets and restaurants has substantially increased (2016). Gasoline is cheaper. Hotels cost about the same. Airport food costs are amazingly high.
Infrastructure is worse. Road work is lessened.
(However, they are working 24 hours daily on US290. Makes road work in Cuenca look silly.)
It is obvious that many more people in the USA have awakened to the threat of the criminal elitist cabal, although many are still confused as to who is to blame. The MSM in the USA had succeeded in frightening the people of terrorism. (2015) Not much different in 2016.

US Imigration did not confiscate our passports.
Our flights to and from the US back to Ecuador were uneventful considering that the USAF had disabled TCAS for their Jade Helm exercises (2015).

Some of you would wonder why I write this.
Why listen to the wild claims of ‘conspiracy theorists’?
Well, because sometimes I am one, myself.
This note is to help us keep things in perspective.

Habeas Corpus...............gone.
Rights dismantled at every turn.
Centralized everything. The Fed will tell us what, where, and when.
Political Correctness. Extreme minority getting their feelings hurt, then the majority caving in.
Poisoned food supply. Leadership turns their head.
The Medical Mafia.
Constitution, ignored. Bill of Rights on last leg.
Bribery as way of life for Congress.
Corporations not liable, no accountability
Money supply that feeds the rich. Again no accountability, bail them out!
Pollution rampant
Media a laughing stock, Supreme Court says Fox News is not news, but entertainment.
Decrepit infrastructure, bridges, roads, power grid (very susceptible)
Taxes upon taxes upon taxes. IRS targets individuals who question government insanity.
No longer checks and balances. Too many Executive Orders. Judges making law.
Leadership seemingly inciting race wars.
Christians can't pray, but Muslims can.
And on and on and on.

They have been going on for many years.

Curious if you would like to move back to the US anytime soon, wnlight? Or is life that much better for you in Ecuador?

I often fantasize about leaving the US but unfortunately I've been off the financial grid, for the most part, for quite some time now. I don't think I can pull off a move anytime soon unless I hit the lotto lol. But I like to live vicariously through others that have taken the leap. So I would appreciate anything you might have to share. Insights, advise, etc..

I would consider moving back to the USA if it would ever become the "the land of the free and the home of the brave" as depicted in our anthem. Right now, for the most part, the people 'living' there are neither free nor brave. Actually, they willingly gave up many of their freedoms out of fear. That would not have happened 72 years ago. (My age)

Also, to be honest, we could not afford to go back now. I had to retire due to my age. Few would hire a high tech guy in his mid 60s. "What could that old f___ possibly know anymore. The technical world has moved far beyond him. Let's hire a young kid fresh out of school who can royally screw up our computer systems because of his inexperience." The cost of living in the USA has skyrocketed while my potential earnings have plummeted. Right now, we can live well on our social security while it lasts and save our savings.

"Free" Americans have to pay a tax and / or get a license to live, work, travel, own, buy, sell, cut hair, trade in healthcare, fly a plane, transmit, run a business, hunt, fish, marry and / or own a dog.

Thanks!

I met two days ago with a German friend who had last been in Ecuador in November, 6 months ago. He's a highly intelligent, highly qualified, bilingual, spiritual, professional man, an architect in his 50s. He's been working towards being a sovereign citizen in the EU.

Although he had a German/EU passport, he wasn't formally resident in any country. He actually had no address anywhere that was his, so that created a 'flag' against him of some kind.

When he flew back to Europe at the end of last year, he was seized in the transit lounge in Madrid and held in detention without charge or trial for two weeks in Spain and then for another two weeks in Germany. His lawyer eventually got him released.

It was quite a harrowing experience. Nothing that happened to him was legal. He was in transit (about to change planes to Berlin), when he was arrested. They can't legally do that. But they were looking for him.

In his cell (sometimes in solitary confinement), he meditated a lot, and when in the exercise yard taught yoga to the other inmates and detainees. They all loved him, even the drug smugglers and murderers. :flower:

He described the jailers (and officials) there are automatons. Just doing an obedient job with zero thought, awareness or humanity. Like they were herding farm animals. As a vegetarian, he requested a special diet (as he was entitled to), but that was ignored and he was obliged to eat meat or starve. His joints swelled up and he was in severe pain.

Fascinating story, which should be a movie. I've urged him to write about it. But, OMG. This should never happen.

I asked him what his learning was. Good question! He said:

never give up.
always stay the observer, never get reactive.
be your best at all times, whatever's happening or whatever the provocation.
always have faith.

Good stuff to remember. :star: And a reminder to all of us that Big Brother, on whatever side of the Atlantic, can grab anyone if they feel like it, and hold them for no legally valid reason. If my friend had not had a good lawyer, he might still be in there.

It sounds like a royal pain in the ass to attempt to be a sovereign being on this planet. All the research, paperwork, conflict with the majority of people, fear of the enforcers, etc, etc. I don't know if its worth the trouble. I used to think that adversity was a neccesity for freedom. But now I'm not so sure anymore. I feel that inner freedom, which is the only real freedom imo, is easily attainable without adversity.

Anyway, thanks for the story Bill! It's great to hear about an individual getting a win sometimes.

This might be sliding off topic, and might deserve its own thread: but I'm not so sure it was a 'win'.

If I was a conspiracy theorist :), I might speculate that the authorities picked on him because they knew he was well-connected and respectable, and would be sure to tell the story later, articulately and philosophically. Then others would post it (as I have), and would be warned.

And even right now, in my post above on this thread, I'm actually serving to deter people trying to go the same route. No-one wants to be suddenly seized in a transit lounge and then imprisoned for a month or more, which it seems could happen — maybe to you or me — anywhere in the world, without warning.

Police states throughout history have always picked on an opinion leader to make a brutal example of them, knowing that everyone else was watching and would learn the lesson not to try the same thing.

All you need is one person, tied to a post and whipped in the town square, with everyone able to see. It's even best if he survives to tell the tale to everyone he meets from then on out. Unless there's a revolution, all the townsfolk fall into line straight away.

The republican form is the remedy for a bad case of subjectivitis.

However, counteracting generations of programming by the world's greatest propaganda ministry takes a lot of effort - and irrefutable evidence (such as found in a county courthouse law library).

Unpleasant as it may be, reading the law is a requirement, otherwise you won't be capable of side stepping future traps.

And if you never, ever see "the servant" admit that in the law, you'll never feel comfortable STANDING UP to errant servants.

Let's see..I was able to vacation out of the country, once, and was never imprisoned, but considered a "person of interest" to European authorities three times. Just for traveling. Well, the continent was great, it was the English who found me suspicious.

But the food thing...years ago, when gas was around this price, it started increasing...so all the food companies started charging more, because the transport costs increased. Now, once the Saudis wreck the oil market, gas is substantially cheaper, but I have yet to find anyone else decreasing their prices along with that. Nothing much has really changed, it's just gone a little further down the same hill. Which is to say, we're in "soft kill" territory here...the drastic things like a fully militarized police take-over pale in comparison to the actual status quo.

Back to life in the USA.....
I've noticed a change in people's security level. Over the years, 27 actually, in one company I noticed that supervisors and managers became scared to make a mistake, scared to be called out by management. This fear sifted down to the lower levels of staff and paralyzed anyone from creativity or push-back.

Generally in society, there is a fear of getting sick because of lack of adequate health insurance. Fear of losing a job for fear of homelessness. Fear of strangers, fear of strange people, fear of disaster of any sort. Fear of authority.

Where once there was a feeling of "there will be a safety net", a new job will be found, the doctor will let me make payments, friends or family will help me until I'm back on my feet, etc. Now there is a feeling of disaster and pending doom if there is a misstep, if the weather changes, if the economy changes all will be lost, all potential, all happiness, all hope.

Media feeds into this with the "or else" scenarios: eat this not that, think this way not that, do this not that, ----- prepare, defend, prevent, "or else" .

Appreciate the insight Bill! I didn't even consider that point of view. I guess I've conditioned myself to consider any release from custody, even from a wrongful detention, as a win :o

Heartsong, I may be stupid, but I walk through the land without fear. The USA or Ecuador or anywhere. However, I DO keep my eyes open. If I were to be detained, or worse, my only fear would be for my wife.

This was interesting, and may be relevant. From Dave Hodges (The Common Sense Show), today:

http://thecommonsenseshow.com/2016/06/03/these-people-are-destroying-america-and-they-need-to-be-called-out

When I look around and see my friends and family, I almost get a sense of normalcy. I drive by my local fire station and the American flag is still flying. I witness police helping elderly motorists with a flat tire. My neighbors are nice and I (temporarily) have some money in the bank. On the surface, it seems like everything is normal. I am constantly reminded of how easy it would be to fall back into being a fat and happy sheep living in the pasture not knowing what lies ahead.

It is hard not to be deceived by the thin veil of normalcy which covers the trend curve of unprecedented and tyrannical historical events which loom on the horizon.

Agree with almost everything he wrote. A key quote to remember in my opinion is:

"Totalitarian regimes need a significant degree of cooperation from the citizenry or they will not survive."

Cooperation, as in a passive form of consent, is exactly what the TPTB have been working towards. They would not succeed without it. After WWI Germany was in a deep depression. People gave their "cooperation" to Hitler because he seemed like the only way out of their misery. The dreadful years that followed taught mankind a painful lesson, and granted him some wisdom: never would it allow a dictatorship like this to start up, let alone flourish, ever again.

Never again would TPTB get away with imposing this sort of totalitarian regime upon the people (at least in the west), unless, unless...

...it was dark, underground, veiled behind layers of secret corruption, phoney wars, rigged economies, and a completely fraudulent brand of democracy. Oppression, deceit, and absolute tyranny...but beautifully and cunningly dressed up as freedom, liberty and prosperity for all.

There are better ways than 'whipping' to force the sheep into the slaughterhouse - because they get wise eventually and put up resistance. First thing you need to do is fatten them up, dumb them down, and make them feel lucky and privileged.

Control the food, the water, the air, the medicine and the ideology, and give them all the bread and circuses they want to keep them happy - and the sheep will grant you their "cooperation". Tell them consumerism is good, and that money is God. Drink fast water, eat fast food. Live for consumerism, die for your country. Give them hope, but never deliver. Bombard them with false positives: sink them with it. And soon they'll be so fat, sick, and stupid, (and distracted), they'll walk wherever you want them to walk. Straight into the slaughterhouse (FEMA camps) without you having to lift a finger.

I do NOT share the opening perspective AT ALL. You may have visited Miami and had no problems dealing in "business" institutions But I ASSURE YOU AND ANYONE ELSE LIFE is not as Passive in Florida as your OP sounds.........

We have a disabled and poisoned waterway throughout the south east of the state...it's poisoning inlets and killing marine life. Young people are being diagnosed with Diabetes Cancer and respiratory problems ....the ratio cost of living to employment compensation is still HIGHLY IMBALANCED. MANY mental health and PILL problems are RAMPANT within the population...Heroine is making its way here..SO NOT SURE what your observing but it is obscured I assure u. The CHAOS and destruction is not always in 3d, it pervades all families and destroys communities in SLITHEROUS ways...............

america is a massive country with a massive amount of people living there. you can see heaven and hell on the same day, **** you can see it on the same few blocks in some cities. if you are looking for totalitarianism youll find it, if you look for life liberty and happiness youll find it too. america is big enough to accommodate everyone and their preferences for what they wish to see

Well in the past four years things have been quite normal.

A ruling class or family exists in every country in the world and most people find this way of life acceptable.
Crime, corruption, addiction and war can be found virtually everywhere (if you look hard enough) and people accept this abysmal behavior as normal.
The mainstream media write alarmist headlines knowing that less then 10 percent of the people never read the first paragraph under the headline. Therefore manipulating the masses is a piece of cake and the truth is very different than what people are being told. Sensationalism has entrenched itself in society as a normal way of life.
Politicians still believe that information and money equals power, so politically nothing has changed.
Some believe they are discovering the answers and waking up everyday, but what they don't know is what lies beyond their truth. Thinking in one, two or even three dimensions is simply not enough to find real truth.
Behind the scenes there are some wonderful and magical things going on, but you have know where and how to look and most importantly how to understand.
People concoct and embellish stories (through no fault of their own) on why they are here without coming to the conclusion that they are here because "they" want to be here and petitioned to come in the first place.
Perception is not reality but reality is perceived as deception
We have not broken through the programming (strands of dna) that allow us to understand that passing in this life is a joyous occasion and not a sad terminal event.
People still talk about the PTB (Powers that be) not wanting to understanding that it is they that hold the real true power in their own hands. It is more fun to blame the bogeyman and avoid accepting responsibility to facilitate real and significant change to this planet.
Police, politicians, military, war, money, disease, evil and much more are still props in the overall scheme of things, so not much has changed.
People do not yet feel a burning desire to navigate through the amnesia mind field they were born in, so not much has changed.
People fail to realise a that a tipping point for change can be achieved when 10 percent want change, so not much has changed.

So life goes on, things are normal, whatever that may be. Humanity needs a swift kick in the A$$ to pull the car back on the road and out of the ditch.

Fascism has arrived full blown here --
The attempt to silence "pizza-gate" investigations and reporting has now resulted in articles on pedophiles in Norway, formally published by the NY Times and the Washington Post -- and ABC -- being taken down.
In order to hide the reality of pizza-gate, they are having to pretend that pedophilia rings are not active all over the world.
It isn't just Norway, of course -- it's the UK/Hampstead case, it's Australia, it's Belgium and, of course, we all know that human trafficking has routes which come through the US.
Events in Belgium brought an enormous number of citizens into the streets where the crimes relate to higher ups in government, where questionable judges were assigned to cases -- and where very questionable reports attempted to cover up the scandal.

Here's also an interesting video by a former CIA officer -- who realized as he was promoted higher up in the organization -- that the CIA was involved in illegal, un-Constitution and even criminal acts. So, too, our government.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl5NW9KcMt0

Shipp refers to our situation as being "Post-Constitutional" or being run by Shadow Government or deep state --

Actually, I think the most important part of our Constitution was Bill of Rights -- we're Post-Bill of Rights.
