PayPal has just released the remaining funds in the account associated with WikiLeaks today, after restricting access to the account last week, according to a PayPal blog post.
The release of funds follows a number of denial-of-service attacks earlier this week that were aimed at the document-leaking site’s providers. Most of the providers are now refusing to work with WikiLeaks after the U.S. government accused it of being in possession of documents that were provided in violation of U.S. law.
Yesterday, WikiLeak’s founder Julian Assange was arrested and denied bail in London. He’s accused of sexual misconduct in Sweden.
While PayPal is releasing the residual funds to WikiLeaks, it is not reinstating the ability for it to receive donations.

Hi Celine,
Hope you are well.
It is a sorry state of affairs, however, it all comes down to the money. Wikileaks cannot be cheap to run and this legal defence will be huge!
I have in the past, and will continue into the future, to support wikileaks the best I can with whatever I can.

hello spirit ,
i am loved, thank you.. is your world white yet? heart warm? yule cheers are yummy in a cup all warmed up.
i read one that Julian's partner said this is a profit making business ...selling truth...i am sure he has a big fat money bag.
Paypall is just part of stopping the masses from participating imo.
If i donate 50$ to the cause... i feel part of the cause.
Just more control..imo.

I understand how you feel.
I have to keep reminding myself that money is neutral energy - it's how we charge it (positive/negative) that gives it the power. Since I've shifted to charging our "currency" positive, much has shifted for me.
As for Julian, my feelings are this whole situation is being used. Haven't decided yet - and may never know - if he's:
1. the real deal (being used)
2. Completely in on the set up
3. Originally in on the set-up, but turned - or who knows what other variables.
Great distraction and theatre, I must admit. And main street news is keeping it going!?!?

My theory is JA is a geniune whistleblower in the beginning. After the "Collateral damage" video is published, the PTB is concerned, and starts to control the damage. They might approach JA and started to compromise him then with (I don't know) what. Probably threats to him or his family. Maybe that's why JA dare not speak the truth about 9/11 or about Israel.

Sounds like an offer no one could refuse

Makes me wonder about the validity of the charges against JA. Why make it more obvious by making someone disappear or die mysteriously, when you can have them labeled a rapist and turn public opinion against the man and permanently discredit him entirely??? i just don't know but it seems fishy

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is dismayed by reports that companies are being leaned on to discontinue financial and internet services for WikiLeaks, a secrets website in the process of releasing more than 250,000 US State Department cables.
"I am concerned about reports of pressure exerted on private companies including banks, credit card companies and internet service providers to close down credit lines for donations to WikiLeaks as well as to stop hosting the website or its meta sites," Navi Pillay said on Thursday, the eve of International Human Rights Day.
Last Wednesday, Amazon stopped hosting WikiLeaks' "cablegate" website after it came under attacks from hackers. The next day, DNS host, EveryDNS.com, killed the WikiLeaks.org domain.
Earlier in the week, Internet payment leader PayPal froze a WikiLeaks-linked account containing over $60,000. PayPal VP of platform Osama Bedier said that the US State Department had notified them that WikiLeaks activities were illegal.
Bedier later clarified that the State Department had not talked to them directly.
On Monday, Swiss Bank PostFinance also froze a WikiLeaks account after they said founder Julian Assange had given them false information.
MasterCard and Visa followed suit Tuesday by saying they would stop processing credit card donations and suspend payments to WikiLeaks.
"While it's unclear if these individual measures taken against private actors directly infringe on states' human rights obligation to show respect of the right to freedom of expression, taken as a whole, they could be interpreted as an attempt to censor the publication of information thus violating WikiLeaks' right to freedom of expression," Pillay said Thursday.
"Hactivists" have taken down websites of organizations acting against the secrets website. Distributed denial of service (DDOS) attacks were launched against MasterCard, Visa, PayPal and PostFinance by the hacker group "Anonymous."
"This is truly what media would call a cyber war. It's just astonishing what is happening," Pillay added.

I agree, and it is a cyber war they cannot win. I refer you to your previous post. If the US government was behind this, then it backfired massively on them. For they have given the people a sign of what they are up to and people want more and more. This, I feel, will be a victory for the people.
