Hills alive with UFOs.
I am going to use this thread for latest UFO sightings from around the world.

A PROSPECTOR who went to find gold in the hills thinks he may have found something better - evidence that aliens really do exist.

Adam Cainero believes he captured a photograph of an alien spacecraft hovering above an escarpment near Majors Creek, in the Southern Tablelands near Braidwood.

After an unsuccessful weekend fossicking for gold Mr Cainero and a friend were making the long trip home when he stopped to take a snap of the steep mountain they had driven down.

When he got home, Mr Cainero said he realised he had found gold of another kind after all.

"I just took a picture of the mountain range and the sun was in my eyes so I just kind of pointed and shot," Mr Cainero said. "Then we looked at the picture - we were, like, no way."

With its shape and its position in the sky, Mr Cainero said he immediately knew the black object was a UFO.

seems cloudy to me... wouldnt the lighting be different if the sun was pointed towards the lens?

I am a photographer, the thing is, the pictures are never taken well nor Hi-Res.
Those two aspects make a picture suspicious from the beginning.

It's true everybody has cams nowadays. Phone cell cams, digital cams but it's all crap at shooting a pic in distance or high speed or shooting a pic at all if you don't know how to keep your own hand steady not to mention the mass produces cams are crap anyway.

Witness report: UFO sightings Rt.7 & Rt. 41, near the Pennsylvania/Delaware line at 7:00pm EST. These "things" had no sound as they slowly flew above our heads. Quite a few cars pulled over and took pictures

I tend to agree with the lantern idea. no course, direction, or formation.
The really seem to be adrift in the wind.

re. 1st photo;
Ixnay on a mtn. top. it would be better blended into the clouds.
Given the picture's resolution it's hard to place the object depth-wise other than near the hill.

Interesting shape, though, and not yet another 'fuzzy dot'.

UFO sighting over Los Angeles from a plane.

This is certainly strange. At first it looked to me like a pyramid but when zoomed in on it is very detailed and strange looking, even "Alien" lol

Just thought it was a nice reminder about Voyager 1 and what the "Golden disk " contained:

Included on both Voyager spacecraft are Golden Records, containing sounds and images that if they are found by extraterrestrial life forms, are supposed to best portray the diversity of life on Earth.

Two of the Pioneer probes, which were launched before Voyager 1 and 2 in the 1970s, were equipped with a small metal plaque stating the time and place of origin of the spacecraft onboard for the benefit of any space entity that they might encounter.
NASA got more creative with the Voyager probes however, and put together a sort of time-capsule – a selection of images and recordings – that they felt best represent the life on Earth.
Known as the Golden Record, the choice of sounds and music is intriguing. There is a selection of greetings from people in 55 different languages, as well as printed messages from former US President Jimmy Carter and other world leaders.
The music choices range from classical masterpieces such Bach's Brandenberg Concerto No 2 in F First Movement to "Johnny B. Goode" by Chuck Berry, “Melancholy Blues" by Louis Armstrong and his Hot Seven and "Dark Was the Night" by Blind Willie Johnson.

Other interesting Earth titbits for the curious alien traveller include sounds and paintings of our animals, such as whales, dolphins and eagles, as well as a variety of pictures of all the different types of humans, artwork, mathematical diagrams and images of mothers, babies and children.

And for those that are wondering how, exactly, a being from outer space would work out how to access the Earth library on the Golden Record, instructions in the form of a step-by-step illustration has been engraved on it’s metallic cover.
As Voyager 1 ventures outside the solar system in the next few years, we can only hope that any beings it encounters like the blues.

Alien with size 440 shoe among New Zealand UFO sightings.

A giant alien with size 440 shoes is among extraterrestrial beings encountered over the past 60 years, according to previously secret documents made public by the New Zealand Defence Force on Wednesday.

The reports, detailing "sightings" of unidentified flying objects and their operators, range from the downright wacky to the intriguing.
Accounts came from people in all walks of life, including air force personnel, commercial airline pilots and passengers on aircraft, and even a New Zealand prime minister took a close interest in one case.
The more than 2,000 pages of documents dating back to the early 1950s had not been due for publication until the year 2050, but were released after requests under freedom of information laws.
Many reports include sketches of flying saucers and aliens, one showing a human-like figure dressed in silvery material with a wide belt, helmet and visor.
One man wrote to a government department in November 1955 to say he had seen "many" flying saucers.

Former Armed Forces head wanted probe into UFO sighting, newly released files show.

A former head of the Armed Forces wrote to the defence secretary urging him to “demonstrate a more serious concern” over a now famous UFO sighting, files released by the Ministry of Defence disclose.

The incident is just one among the hundreds of reports of UFO close encounters, from aliens with lemon-shaped heads to laser beams being shot to earth, contained in the files.
Other episodes include when two “sober” Glastonbury festival goers saw a flying saucer hover overhead and dozens of sightings which turned out to be a Virgin Airship and two boys who claimed an alien told them: "We want you, come with us".
Lord Hill-Norton, a former chief of defence staff, wrote to Michael Heseltine some years after a mysterious incident in which several US Air Force personnel reported seeing a strange metallic object hovering in Rendlesham Forest near RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk.
The incident, in the early morning of December 27, 1980, has become known as “Britain’s own Roswell”, and has never been fully explained.
The late Lord Hill-Norton, a member of what he described as the “rather ineffective” House of Lords UFO Group, wrote to Mr Heseltine in May 1985 to express his concern over the “puzzling and disquieting features” of the case.

UFO files: secret US spy plane Aurora could be behind sightings
A number of UFO sightings may have been caused by a secret US spy plane called Aurora, the existence of which has never been officially admitted, according to files released on Monday.

More than 70 witnesses including police and military personnel reported sightings in Devon, Cornwall, South Wales and Shropshire in the early hours of Wednesday March 31, 1993, with many describing a large, low-flying object which made a low humming sound.
In a briefing note to the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (ACAS), Sir Anthony Bagnall, the head of the Ministry of Defence's UFO desk wrote that there was evidence of an unidentified craft evading UK defences.
He said he would not normally concern Sir Anthony with UFO sightings but continued: "You may wish to be aware of a recent particularly unusual incidence of UFO sightings over Britain, involving descriptions that match some of the reported characterisations of the so-called 'Aurora'."
The Aurora was the name given to an unmanned US reconnaissance aircraft supposedly developed in secret "black" programmes in the 1980s and alleged to be capable of hypersonic flight.
The plane was the subject of much speculation at the time and the British Government was forced to deny allowing experimental flights over the UK.

I realise this is from All News Web which makes its credibility questionable, but what do you guys think?

A video clip shot over ten years ago that shows what might be a UFO of alien/extraterrestrial origin has finally been released onto the Internet.
The remarkable film, seen below, shows what seems to be a triangular UFO almost land in a wilderness area before zooming of at breakneck speed, possibly because its occupants became aware they were being watched and filmed.
The clip was supposedly filmed with a pre-digital video camera.
The witness has chosen to remain anonymous and nothing is known about the location the clip was filmed in.
UFO Experts are now analyzing the footage. Some are suggesting that this constitutes clear proof of alien visitation, while others have suggested that this might be a modern fake using computer generated graphics.
What do you think?

UFOs near Melbourne Airport (Victoria, Australia) on Christmas Eve

VICTORIAN residents reported seeing strange lights in the sky last night.

A man in East Keilor reported seeing orange lights that formed a diamond and moved in a synchronised pattern to the west of Melbourne Airport at about 10.15pm.

A woman in Warburton had a similar experience 45 minutes later.

David Bekesi, 52, said he had just stepped out for a cigarette when he saw the series of orange lights.

Mr Bekesi has seen all kinds of aircraft fly over his house heading to nearby Melbourne Airport, but said this was like nothing he had ever seen before.

He said the lights stayed in the sky for number of minutes before moving higher up and disappearing.

“They all grouped in one area and then went straight up into the sky,” he said.

Amazing. Although I live close enough to Melbourne Airport to be able to have seen the show had I been outdoors at the time, I first read about it in the Tucson Citizen (http://tucsoncitizen.com/paranormal/2010/12/25/ufo-sighting-down-under-lights-mystify-many-but-others-not-so-much/)! It wasn't reported in the major Victorian newspapers.
