Basically, Snowden shows and explains how to go black, he is doing it on devices and answering questions about what the NSA can do to a phone ( turning it back on ) , then Edward removes the cameras from the phone, the microphones ( add external microphone to keep using the phone ), the it is the end of the video...

I watched the video.
Very disappointing and deceiving.
1. If you heat the whole phone to melt soldering you melt all the plastics as well.
2. If you want to go dark you regularly switch dumb phones that cost 20$ each, using paid call cards. Every few days. Watch some Jason Bourne films.
3. This video is about PR for Snowden and NSA.

Too much false and ridiculous technical assertions destroy Snowden's creditability.

I am looking forward to his (Snowden's) handlers exposure.

The video was blocked for broadcast in Germany by VICE magazine, not by youtube and also not by German authorities.

If you want to go "dark", then don't use smartphones or any devices which use GPS satellites.
Then again, all computers are compromised too.
