Have you had a sighting, a curious observation or experience that you didn't know how to categorize or explain - and wanted to perhaps share, but didn't want to make a whole new thread for it?
Rather than start a thread for every individual case, I think we should have a one stop shop for sightings - particularly those that have no accompanying picture or video - as these will often just get lost or disappear onto page 2. Post your (preferably up-to-date) sighting reports here.
I'll start, because I had just a sighting two days ago.

As an experiencer, I've seen and encountered many, many strange and amazing things over the years. Particularly in the 90s sightings/experiences were frequent, but are less common these days. But two days ago I saw something in the sky I haven't seen before. And cannot explain.
It was broad daylight, 4pm approximately. I was in my car diving along a rural road. The sky was clear and blue for the most part, a few scattered white clouds typical of a summer day, but right in front of me, not much more than a few hundred feet in the air, slightly to the right of the road, an extraordinary object 'appeared'. It was a deep red colour - I say 'it', but it could have been 'they' - like two objects joined together. I thought at first it was two helicopters in close formation, one flying above the other, but so close they were almost touching.
Each object (if it was two objects) were the size perhaps of a fingernail at arm's length - quite close, so close that had it been a plane I would probably be able to see individual windows and read any decals/lettering on the side. Whatever this was it was moving from left to right over the road, and slightly towards me, on the diagonal, so it was getting larger and larger, closer and closer.
I slowed down as I watched this fascinating spectacle. It was moving pretty fast, several 100s of miles per hour I would estimate, below and in front of the clouds. It was not a cloud, and it was red anyway. It did not behave or look like any aircraft I have ever seen. As an airport worker (and living next to one my whole life) I am a practised observer of all (traditional) types of aircraft. Nor was this a balloon or kite or anything of this nature. At no point did I lose sight of the object; I was focusing intently on its progress (holding the wheel steady but ignoring the road - there was no other traffic) but I could not make out the exact shape, because of a slight 'ethereal' quality to it. Even though it was getting closer to me, it was becoming, strangely, less distinct.
Then suddenly, like someone turning a dimmer switch, the red 'blobs' that they appeared to now resemble, faded out - dematerialised for real. It just vanished from reality like a ghost. The sighting lasted for roughly 10 to 15 seconds. I came virtually to a stop, looking all around me. The road was empty, and the sky was empty. It was just gone. I continued driving, astonished, bewildered, but thankful for the opportunity of seeing this bizarre but very interesting object.
