That was awesome , thanks Mojo :haha: Ladakh is truly one of the best places to watch Stars and watch for 'lights in the Sky' , right after Tibet i guess ( I've been to Ladakh in 1994 ) , it's vast and remote area .. scarcely inhabited and people have great hearts and sense of humour ( quite like Tibetans do ).
Had to laugh at the 'advanced equipment we use' because that's about accurate .

Last year in Dharamsala I grilled my old friend Jampa who served in Indian army long ago ( he let himself to be 'discharged' or ran away, not sure which but he's aged person now ) and one of the places where he was stationed , Pangong Tso (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pangong_Tso) , on the border of India and Tibet is known for UFO reports on the web ( which he can not know ).

He said they sometimes saw flickering lights over the lake they called 'spirit lights' .
