'28 Pages': Newly released 9/11 documents find no official Saudi link

Several previously classified pages of the 9/11 Commission Report have been
released Congress has released previously classified documents about whether the
Saudi government had a role in the 9/11 attacks. The pages show no officials links
between the Saudi government and the hijackers who killed nearly 3,000 people in
New York.However, the report found it was likely that the attackers had financial
help from people inside the kingdom.

An independent panel completed the 9/11 Commission Report in 2002.

But several pages - informally known as "the 28 Pages" - were withheld from the
public for 13 years, fuelling speculation about their contents.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the 9/11 attacks

For years, lawmakers and family members of the 9/11 victims lobbied for their
release, arguing the US government was shielding an important ally.

Fifteen of the 19 hijackers who flew planes into the World Trade Center and the
Pentagon were Saudi nationals.

The released pages were still lightly redacted by the CIA. The report's original
authors cautioned that some of the information contained in "the 28 pages" was
unvetted material complied by the FBI.

The Saudi government said it welcomed the release of the documents on Friday.

The release confirms "neither the Saudi government, nor senior Saudi officials, nor
any person acting on behalf of the Saudi government provided any support or
encouragement for these attacks,'' Abdullah Al-Saud, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to
the United States, said in a statement on Friday.

The interesting, if that's the right word, thing with your statement I highlighted is, we find a pattern in most of the 9/11 investigations. That is not looking at patterns or relative incidences. Instead they look at them like they are coincidental and not related to one another. Investigating each coincidence in it's singularity with no relations to anything else. No police investigation has ever got anywhere without looking for similarities and patterns that tie things together. If that makes any sense?

In fact, aside from the 9/11 Commission themselves and D'Amuro, all of the names in the document appear to be of a Middle Eastern origin.

I just finished reading the report (will go back for a second read) and have to say that many of the posts above, including the one that claims it has bullet points from the report, has nothing to do with the actual report. In short, the report focuses on the many Saudis who gave aide, money and assistance to the supposed hijackers, and shows some connections to official Saudi government and royalty. Much detail is spent on Omar al-Bayoumi and Osama Basnan, two possible intelligence assets who helped the hijackers settle in San Diego and start flight school there. The wives of these two received extensive funding from the wives of Prince Bandar (a.k.a. "Bandar Bush") and on at least one occasion each, funding directly from Bandar.

There are short entries about many others, including Abdullah Bin Laden, Osama's half Brother who worked at the Saudi embassy and is associated with Mohammed Atta. There are also two pages about one connected Saudi who assisted the hijackers, but his name is redacted in every single instance.

About 5 page of the report are devoted to calling for more focus and investigation on these matters, something which obviously has not been done. They mention extensively how Saudi Arabia has refused to cooperate with the investigation. I find it interesting that last Spring when it seemed inevitable that this report would be released, Obama instantly made a trip to Saudi Arabia. So much for "we don't negotiate with terrorists."

Bluegreen's bullet points begin with Hillary Clinton and her aide Huma Abedin (who is American born and Indian and Pakistani). Neither of these woman are mentioned in the report.

Hillary Clinton is not named with Clinton as last name. But are we to assume they not referring to one "Hillary Clinton" in this quoted statement from the original document I posted?

Point #1) Top news story to be gleaned from the information in the document, so it goes side one, cut one, just like at Motown. In 1983, Abdullah Omar Naseef became secretary-general of the charitable Muslim World League (who have taken in $1.3 billion to date) and its subsidiary, the al-Haramain Foundation (both named in the document) and said to be responsible for much bloodshed. He served on the board alongside Huma Aberdin in the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs until his other organizations were declared illegal terrorism fronts by the US and banned worldwide by the UN. Clinton is named in the article about the document, not in the document itself.

I think with all the global truth seekers on their tail, they've been pumping fear throught hte attacks and trying to distract until they can infiltrate all of us, but there are too many that are seeking the 'absolute truth,' and they can't keep up. In the movies, you may have 2 or 4 big stars, whose names are featured right at the beginning of the movie (Starring A, B, and C ...). There may be a group of actors with lesser but important roles, also at the beginning (Featuring D, E, F, and G ...). Then of course there are the producers (Produced by Top Dog), and the all-important director (Directed by Big Shot). Finally the title appears on the screen and the story unfolds. At the end of the movie we see a listing of all the minor actors (those with lines), extras (those without), production assistants (costumes, catering) et al etc. Despite the hiearchy, all are important to the whole.

The problem with these 28 pages is it has us running around in circles, giving our full attention to the minor actors (the 19 terrorists turned commercial airline pilots who learned to fly on Cessnas). This is exactly what the stars of the movie (Bush, Cheney, Soros, etc) want us to do. I would suggest that this declassified material (14 years after the fact) is useful but relatively unimportant information.

I had 10 flight students from Saudi Arabia living at an apartment complex that I supervised from 1993-1998... all of their names began with Muhammad... I asked how they paid such high rent and didn't go to work every day, they explained that they were students at the tulsa spartan aeronautics flight school... they also said their government pays them for their education, buys them a car , pays their rent, utilities, and gives them 2,000 dollars per month... if you go to college o be an engineer and the salary in America is 60k pr year for an engineer, the government pays them 60k per year without having a job ... free money just making their nation smarter... funds sent to a flight student w wouldn't stick out ... American politicians kiss the rear ends of the Saudis over the huge flow of money ... the Saudi government wouldn't know that money sent to students was going to be used to commit terrorism... the perfect cover ...

An 'indirect link' between a company Saudi Arabian royalty and phone numbers held by an alleged al-Qaeda member held over the September 11 terror attacks has been revealed in documents kept private by the US government until last month.

After years of the Bush administration refusing to publish the “28 pages” – a congressional report from 2002 which was part of an investigation into the 9/11 attacks – the Obama administration agreed to release the documents in July this year.

The report reveals that a phone log maintained by an alleged senior al-Qaeda operative, Abu Zubaydah, a nom de guerre for Zayn al-Abidin Muhammed Hussein, included the unlisted phone number for a Colorado company associated with a key member of the Saudi royal family, Prince Bandar bin Sultan.

A former highly-regarded ambassador to the US, Prince Bandar was close to George H W Bush during the lead-up to the Gulf War against Iraq in 1991.

The number was for the company that once managed Prince Bandar’s estate in Colorado. Another phone number was found for a bodyguard who worked at the Saudi Embassy in Washington, the "28 pages", which are actually 29 pages, also show.

Zubaydah’s own senior role in al-Qaeda has never been fully confirmed. Indeed, the New York Times and other media outlets say the CIA no longer believes Zubaydah was in Osama bin Laden's inner circle as was once thought to be the case.

A transcript of the 45-year-old Palestinian speaking during a Combatant Status Review Tribunal at Guantanamo Bay back in 2007 shows he said: “They told me, ‘sorry, we discover that you are not Number 3 [in Osama bin Laden’s inner circle], not a partner, not even a fighter.’”

The CIA and FBI concluded that there was no evidence anyone from the Saudi royal family knowingly provided support for the 9/11 attacks.

Saudi officials any possibleallegations made against them with regards the 2001 attacks in which nearly 3,000 people lost their lives in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania. They called for the pages to be released so Saudi Arabia could address ongoing accusations over its alleged role in 9/11, and pointed to a 2005 FBI investigation which cleared the Saudi government and royal family of funding or knowledge of the 19 hijackers – 15 of whom were Saudi nationals – who committed the atrocities.

Senator Graham for one has said the indirect connection between Zubaydah’s contact list and the company associated with Prince Bandar was “one of the most stunning parts of the investigation” and worthy of pursuing further.

Saudi ambassador to the US Abdullah Al-Saud said in a statement: "Since 2002, the 9/11 Commission and several government agencies, including the CIA and the FBI, have investigated the contents of the ‘28 Pages’ and have confirmed that neither the Saudi government, nor senior Saudi officials, nor any person acting on behalf of the Saudi government provided any support or encouragement for these attacks.

“We hope the release of these pages will clear up, once and for all, any lingering questions or suspicions about Saudi Arabia's actions, intentions, or long-term friendship with the United States.

"Saudi Arabia is working closely with the United States and other allies to eradicate terrorism and destroy terrorist organisations.”

Many years ago, I stumbled upon the Conspiracy theory of history and read a few books which explained how a handful of unbelievably rich and POWERFUL international bankers (the Rulers) have controlled and guided world affairs for a very long time. The Rulers have it all in the palm of their greedy, fearful and INSANE hands so, unless a miracle occurs, they are going to run the show their way - PERIOD! As for me, I'm going to live my life the best and most honest way I can and deal with the Rulers in whatever small ways I can such as using less and less of the products and services that they offer me like: pharmaceuticals, oil, fabrics, money, doctors, banking, loans, shelter, entertainment, conveniences, booze, chewing gum, hair spray and any "products" or services that I don't need or want. They are living off of my needs and desires so, the less I "consume" the less they get!
