I don't think the Government understands what it's role is in Society anymore.
When someone hires an advisor they are paid to advise and the employer decides on the action. They are not paid to tell us what we can and cannot do then totally ignore us when we decide not to listen to their advice.
Something happened along the way in Politics where we are now the advisors and they are the employer but if that was the case why do we continue to pay them to work for them?
If the majority of the UK wants to leave the EU then we should leave the bad taste of bureaucracy and unaccountability behind and not have a Prime Minister who takes us out but secretly keeps us in. Personally I would see this as a crime of Betrayal on the wishes of the people.
If anyone thinks the EU is essential then it's clear you have been sucked in by the placebo external funding which is put in place whilst the country is raped of all industry (except the financial ponzi of course). This way when the funding is removed (which is our money anyway) the country finds out it has relied on a failing system for far to long and they will feel the effects the most.
Just surviving to the point where, if the handouts stop, the country crumbles (like Greece) is no way to provide a stable and secure future for ourselves or our children and by being independent once more means we are no longer reliant on anyone but ourselves. Given the events of the last 40 years this is not a bad place to be in :)
The Conservatives lied to us 42 years ago to start the bulldozers up and set them to destroying the country whilst giving the public the belief it was just a free trade deal and we fell for it. Shame on us.
Now we need to break free before the EU turns into an Orwellian society where we are always at war with another country (or so we are told but we won't know any different because all media will be controlled) and the people are merely slaves of the system.
Does anyone really want what George Orwell envisioned?
