Hello, All:
Not well reported in the mainstream media is a steady stream of freakish, alarming weather events all over the globe. This isn't a new thing, but this year it's really been cranking up. Some videos and reports have been posted on other threads, but I felt it deserved a thread of its own.
What does this mean? David DuByne of Adapt 2030, who may be second only to Ben Davidson of Suspicious Observers in his commitment to daily updates on large scale events, insists there's a coming mini ice age (and he's not the only one, either).
Meanwhile, others (reported by myself earlier) are concerned about widespread methane release (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?79906-The-critical-methane-problem-we-all-face) which might herald a sudden greenhouse effect.
All we can be sure of, it seems, is that things are changing, and quickly, too.
Here's a start:

A repost from here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?90378-The-Earth-s-Magnetic-Field-Did-Not-Collapse-This-Week&p=1065032&viewfull=1#post1065032) (<---):
I have been looking at the reported changes happening around this planet and wondering what's really happening for an increase in the number of powerful earthquakes, storms and hurricanes as well as the considerable increase of plumbing system mishaps called "sink holes."
Weather storms seem to indicate an increase in the spinning power of their vortex... water damage turning into sinkholes could also indicate an increase in the vortex power of circulating water... but I couldn't fit earthquakes into that model until realizing where these powerful earthquakes are mostly happening: subduction zones.
What's the engine for subductions and oceanic crusts motion: convection cells in the mantle acting as conveyor belts (like some hydraulic gear shift (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torque_converter)s work)... VORTEX!
There is an increase in the strength of vortex spins affecting anything having some "fluidity."
That's an increase in the difference of potential between something and something else which is usually translated in terms of electromagnetism.
Where could such an increase in potential be coming from...
... enters the "Electric Universe"!
... and our solar system postulated as a binary system (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?57644-Nemesis-Tyche-Nibiru-Planet-X-Brown-Dwarf-Binary-System-Myths-Realities&p=656650&viewfull=1#post656650). That's our sun and its postulated dwarf twin acting as the two poles of a charged capacitor (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor).
When the two poles get closer, the potential difference increases due to the shortening of the distance... up to a maximum when at closest to each other (hopefully not a shorting of the circuit where the system is reset at equipotential (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equipotential) for both poles with a big spark).
That's where I am at, at the moment and it's subject to revision at any time new data show up :)

This is why I can't decide who would be a greater threat to the world: Clinton or Trump.
Clinton might drag us into a(nuclear) WW3 and Trump will do everything in his power to stall and break up any agreements toward reducing our emissions of greenhouse gasses.
In the Netherlands, we had a hail storm some weeks ago with the biggest ice balls coming down ever recorded here.

Scotland was hit by 25,000 lightning bolts as the country's heatwave finished with a bang on Wednesday.
While parts of the country baked in 29C heat during the day, the hot weather continued through the night with lows of 19C.
The humid conditions saw Scotland and surrounding seas hit by around 20,000 of the 39,302 lightning strikes between 3pm Tuesday to 10am on Wednesday.
Ninety per cent of the strikes came in a six-hour blast from 4am to 10am on Wednesday, Met Office UK area lightning detection system data passed to Netweather showed.
Met Office figures showed 25,000 lighting strikes is 10 times higher than the usual number of strikes from a lightning storm.
The 25,000 bolts contained 6million kWh of energy - enough to boil water for 225million cups of tea or provide the daily energy needs of 500,000 people - or the population of Edinburgh - University Corporation for Atmospheric Research and Ofgem data showed.
A dramatic lightning location map showed Scotland almost invisible under the strikes.

Scotland is almost invisible due to the lightning strikes
Another 5,000 strikes in Scotland were forecast by Netweather by Wednesday evening.
Met Office forecaster Alex Burkill said: "There was so much frequent lightning due to so much energy in the air. Impacts were expected by Wednesday evening."
Netweather forecaster Paul Michaelwhite said: "Extremely severe lightning made it one of the most memorable lightning episodes for years."

Good post Bill.
Mini Ice-Ages coming, Yes.
I've always thought the recent worming (So-Called Global worming) was man-intended, as an attempt to stop the coming Ice-age conditions.
Records probably show other, but I feel a worming would come before an abrupt cold down turn.
Weather are so random now.
Having said all that though, this last week the sky has seemed happier, healthier some how. I've had the feeling that things are actually getting better with the sky? (Chem-trails still all over though)
Side note: Same with UFO related feelings, as if they are happier and around more now :sun:
So one way or the other, what the frack is going on.

I believe that measurements taken of the planets in our solar-system that have atmosphere, have shown that the temperature is increasing across the solar-system....... That it is getting warmer everywhere. This, in turn, will trigger a mini ice-age in the northern hemisphere of planet Earth. I doubt that the muck that has been pumped into the air since the industrial 'revolution' will have helped, but I do not see it as the main cause of the increasing temperatures............ The data shows this is not even a local event but solar-system wide.

The watchers have said the weather patterns are affected by the thinking/feelings of the earth human being ... it is the X Factor that science wont wrap their heads around because they don't accept that the realm of the spirit is real, and the origin of the material world... you can read their predictions about climate change written in 1958 by Edward Meier, at theyfly.com ... typhoons, volcanism, severe storms, altered weather patterns, etc, caused by ozone depletion through A-bomb testing... the rays of two suns hit the earth unobstructed due to the sheilds being weakened... the central sun of our Milky way and our sun heat the earth creating increased volcanism, which releases into the atmosphere particles that affect storms making everything more severe... they also say our population is over the planetary limit, higher concentrations of CO2 are also in our atmosphere, in 1975 they tested a reading of 0.42 percent while our scientist said it was 0.37 percent... I just relay what ive read , I can't confirm their. Findings, just wanted to contribute, for I have been reading their information about the weather for over 10 years ...in 1958 they sent letters to many countries in Europe warning about the coming climate change, and they were ignored ...

I hope this serves to cast doubt on the insanity of "global warming" and the absolutely insane concept of "green house gasses" .... can we finally agree that anthropomorphic climate change is just a topic that is leveraged for more control over humanity?

We had a hail storm here last year , huge hail , some 1400 homes roofs had to be replaced, every car dealer in town had hail damage on every vehicle on the lots. Yes Mother Earth is on the move again there's no doubt, volcanic activity and quakes picking up ect ect. Bill any credit to the site ZETA TALK? I read their newsletter every friday . There main thrust has to do with the coming of the 2cd sun /planet which then follows along with all of these changes everyone is discussing here. Either way all you have to do is just pay attention to your own yard and you can see the changes , flowers blooming later, ect ect.

I think a lot of what gets called "climate change" or "global warming" is actually geoengineering. If you follow Robert Detusch on Facebook, for instance, you can see chemtrails and scalar patterns from all over the globe.

I believe I am correct in saying that the temperature of the planet has risen and decreased, in both hemispheres, many times since the atmosphere of planet Earth stabilised......... Way before human beings arrived on the scene, there is evidence of fluctuation, of freezing and thawing, of flood and desertification.......... So no, I wouldn't put the blame squarely at the foot of Mankind. As I said in my earlier post, no doubt the muck that has pumped into the atmosphere will not have helped, but I doubt it is the cause.

We have passed the midpoint (the golden age when the Sahara was a place where plant and animal and homo life flourished, but what is now our coasts was under water) between ice ages and are heading for another major ice age. Human-made global warming may be delaying the next major ice age (guessing game if it is decades or centuries or even thousands of years) and thus giving us more time (most life on Earth is decimated during an ice age) to adapt, preserve knowledge and avoid the reset.
No matter what we do, Earth is more than halfway on track for another major ice age.
The prediction for a mini ice age in less than two decades seems to come from Valentina Zharkova and her team in the UK and is based on the activity from our sun.

The Gulf Stream hardly gets a mention in discussions about Global Warming, but the fact is that the warm current that is the Gulf Stream is why in the recent past the climate of the British Isles has been so temperate. The warming of the planet generally has diluted the warmer waters of the Gulf Stream and disrupted the flow of the current. Without its influence there will be even more disrupted weather patterns in various areas, but especially in the northern hemisphere. Scotland is actually on the same latitude as Moscow but until recently the Gulf Stream kept Scotland much warmer. Maybe the possible coming Ice Age is a result of the fragmentation of the Gulf Stream- which is thought to be due to the melting of the ice caps in the Arctic and Greenland, and thus a recordable part of Climate Change.

Yes, it is probably the inevitable turmoil of fighting off an ice age.
I get the feeling it is a very fine line to be trying to walk. The danger is the methane on one end and the ice age on the other. Almost as if it were a test of sorts......co-operate, get it under control, or the wheels fall off. A forced gauntlet.
As for northern Scotland and the mass of lightning strikes, look up my reports on ley lines/vortex lines.... and extreme weather, specifically that of lightning activity. Northern Scotland is one of the nexus points for the world vortex line/key line grid.
It's a holographic quantum universe, time is not linear, we get dimensional cross leakage all the time, the basis for the universe is one of information and consciousness.
You are not a passive observer. All these things are neither separate or outside of your involvement and influence. Wake up, you and 7 billion other bits of consciousness are at the collective steering wheel (and as the wheel) of a collective car.
The end result may be more striation of the earth's atmosphere, due to the heightened activity aligning itself. Not in layers in height, but what looks like lines across the face of the earth. Note how most atmospheres look on the rest of the solar system's planets. when the highs and lows are exaggerated, the result may be this kind of striation.
That the unified atmosphere of the earth, in layers of height, may also dealing with a motion into striation. We do indeed have some alarming developments in the Jet stream behaviour that may be connected.

Further back in other contacts. Read contact report #9 at the futureofmankind.uk. Please don't just regurgitate this material loosely... it's not reliable, to put it gently and kindly. It's reported contactee information via Billy Meier, and I've asked you before (also kindly) to please provide exact references.
That means links going straight to the words you're quoting. Saying "search theyfly.com (http://theyfly.com) or futureofmankind.uk (http://futureofmankind.uk)", both enormous tangled labyrinths of information translated from the German, sometimes incompletely or not very well, isn't a reference at all.
We love you dearly, but 90% or more of your posts are just generally quoting fragments of Meier with no references, quite often poorly rephrased after going through your own personal filter. Don't take this personally, but your posts are actually of very limited value most of the time.
You come over as proselytizing — kind of like the Billy Meier equivalent of a Jehovah's Witness, faithfully quoting extracts of 'scriptures', that are never meant to be questioned, with little or no intelligent, cross-referencing commentary. I know you mean well, but we are (at least to some considerable degree) a research community here, and not one whose tenets are based on blind belief of any kind.

The Sun is the source of all life and controls the weather.
The "scientists" who deny the power of the sun, are either paid to lie or ignorant.
Rest are silenced to death and not taken seriously... At least here in the west.
Magnetic field too is weakening and it's letting through more cosmic rays...
More electric events, more cloud covers = more flooding. Going to get wet and cold.
More seriously speaking, the possible coming ice age is not a matter of joking. During this age of propaganda, deceit and lies it could cause lots of deaths. Millions if not billions in the next decades and that's exactly what the powers that have been preparing for. Then add the weather control to that mix. Doesn't look too nice! If free energy was somehow allowed to be released, a possible catastrophe could be averted and there would not have to be possible mass migrations, riots and even wars over food and land. Then again, perhaps that is exactly what the turds that be want?
Sources like Suspicious0bservers and Adapt 2030 are good channels which promote awareness over fear and their track record is good.
It's a shame that they don't get more views than that when we are talking about a topic as serious as this one.

Hi, what "watchers" and where did they say this?
Hi, ghostrider... I just wish to share with you this.
I came to the Project Avalon in 2012. I was fortunate enough to get out of PA the necessary information I greatly needed to shake myself out of a serious (suicidal) depression. One significant reason for my depression at that time was that I was so overwhelmed by realizing "mainstream media" constantly lies and then trying to sift through all the "alternative" information for what may actually be true. Still, I had to experience falling for a slew of false information even within the community I had thought was based first and foremost on truth and being truthful.
I learned no matter what, I am the one responsible for what information I take on as "truth" or at least as "likely true" - these are what form my world views and become a part of my set of operational assumptions. My goal is to be the best I can be for my loved ones, friends, those I pass on the street and those I may never meet.
This is now why I ask for sources for information that is fantastical and has been stated in a way that gives a (more vulnerable than not) reader the impression that the information is fact.
So I am just asking you to think about all the information you post about here on PA because it seems that almost everything you post is almost always not just "other-worldly / fantastical" but also, is presented as "set in stone" / truthful information. And I just can't help thinking about so many of the folks that come to this site (especially the non-members - at times a 15 or more to 1 ratio) where a great many of them may be like I was back in 2012... needing some grounded truth and reasonable speculation based on information attributable to verifiable sources who have good track records.

One of the things I like about some of the work done by Adapt 2020 was that he went and searched world records and especially weather and crops during that last mini ice age. I personally feel we can do much better than the last time. The changes don't have to throw us for a loop and cause all the damage it did before. Forewarned is forearmed. Studying these patterns will provide ideas what will or is happening now. He has ideas for adjusting what crops are grown where and why we must look at this as being empowered more to adapt. Change is always happening. We can be part of the change or at the mercy of it.
This video isn't to bad but some of his videos I feel like he is yelling. Too forceful but I think he is toning it down better. No need to be so forceful in relaying information, some are listening. I think it's his persona for I listened to some of the fly on the wall podcast with SO and he just is that way. Even when he just is conversating. He is very action oriented and in Asia working changes there. Not just a talker but a doer.

Governments around the world have long since fully deployed global climate engineering on a scale that cannot truly be comprehended. They decided (without public knowledge or consent) that they had the right to use the atmosphere of our planet to serve their own agendas which amount to nothing less than weather and biological warfare. On August 14th, 2015, there was a major event in Northern California that was organized for the purpose of exposing and halting the global climate engineering programs that are decimating our planet and the entire web of life. Numerous experts spoke out at this event including attorneys, former government scientists, a former defense industry technician, former military personnel, a prominent Northern California Neurologist, and a CEO for one of the largest environmental and engineering consulting firms in the world. Approximately 1000 people attended this event. http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/e-engineering-earth/

This short (and rather disturbing) video came from Yemen, a little over a week ago.
Yemen? Go figure.
The outcome is not shown: it may be guessed that the poor guy was swept away and didn't survive. The significance of the video is the extreme flash flood that hit a desert country in the Middle East in summer.

Baillie quotes a great selection of material from contemporary accounts including the work of Ziegler cited above:
Droughts, floods, earthquakes, locusts, subterranean thunder, unheard of tempests, lightning, sheets of fire, hail stones of marvelous size, fire from heaven, stinking smoke, corrupted atmosphere, a vast rain of fire, masses of smoke. (Ziegler)The time these accounts were contemporary to: 1348... right before the Black Death... which followed a strongly suspected cometary run-in (https://www.sott.net/article/145683-New-Light-on-the-Black-Death-The-Cosmic-Connection).

These events are often cited as 1-in-1000-year events........ Which sounds, to us, as if they are rare. In geological history, these are fairly regular events. Humans are fortunate to have lived through a fairly quiet period in the planets' cycle, but it is just that, a cycle.
Ain't nothing' new under the Sun.

I have to wonder what weaponry they are using.
Back in antediluvian times, the aliens used photon weapons with the trumpet technology, highly advanced, off planet tech. Don't ask me how that works, but it was bloody strong. It created the collapse of the Atlantis continent by being sent thru the grid lines.

There are many reasons for seemly bizarre weather that is occurring throughout this world. Changes on the non physical level, which effects the physical, which in time will lead to a specific moment in time in which a great change will occur. Contamination of the environment, and destruction of the natural world, Earth reacting to Man's actions, since it is a living entity, demonic forces and their actions in the spiritual realms, weather modification experiments, since the weather is used not only for military applications, but political also, I could go on.

Remember the BP gulf oil spill, that impacted directly on the gulf stream.

how would the BP oil spill impact directly on the gulf stream??
How would the gulf stream be "diluted" that makes no sense at all... beside the gulf stream's influence is mimimal & does NOT give the warm climate you think it does... see here:
The Gulf Stream-European climate myth
The panic is based on a long held belief of the British, other Europeans, Americans and, indeed, much of the world's population that the northward heat transport by the Gulf Stream is the reason why western Europe enjoys a mild climate, much milder than, say, that of eastern North America. This idea was actually originated by an American military man, Matthew Fontaine Maury, in the mid nineteenth century and has stuck since despite the absence of proof.
We now know this is a myth, the climatological equivalent of an urban legend. In a detailed study published in the Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society in 2002, we demonstrated the limited role that ocean heat transport plays in determining regional climates around the Atlantic Ocean.

Statements like this are what quickly drag a thread into the mud.
I guess it's clear that you feel strongly about the subject. Care to help us benefit from your time spent learning about it to explain a little better what aspect of "global warming / climate change" is a scam? I think at the very least you need to do a better job of describing what the "scam" is. Are you trying to say global temperatures are not rising at all? Or is it the blame on hydrocarbon burning emissions as the cause for the increase in temps? Seems like you've spent a lot of time researching it all in order to feel so correct about your opinions. Care to spend a small percentage of that time to explain the "BS" instead of just writing it on a brick and chucking it through a window?

All control comes down to energy management. CLimate change (modernly sold to us, and even in the 70's when they said vehicle emissions were causing GLOBAL COOLING) is leveraged as a control method... look at the outcome and the "methods used" to control "climate change".
Carbon tax
Vehicle emissions restrictions
Power production restrictions (targeted suppression of 3rd world countries)
etc...
all of the "fixes" are oppression based.

Hail the size of golf-balls falling in, of all places, Colombia and Brazil.
Intense electrical storms everywhere, with lightning strikes continuing to pick people off in alarming numbers.
Deluges of rain washing away cars and people everywhere from Mexico City to Berlin to Maryland.
Devastating flooding across swathes of China, India and Nepal.
Multiple destructive waterspouts coming ashore in Cuba.
Animals, both wild and captive, attacking and killing people/
An enormous meteor fragmenting from horizon to horizon over the US Southwest

Sun’s activity will cause global cooling – RT News
https://www.rt.com/usa/355301-global-cooling-sun-activity/
Recent research by a scientist has suggested that there could be an imminent 35-year period of low solar activity that could lead to cooler global temperatures.
If new models of the inner workings of the sun published by Professor Valentina Zharkova and her colleagues at Northumbria University on Tuesday are correct, then future variations in solar activity will be able to be predicted more accurately.
The sun is already known to have 11-year cycles of sunspots coming and going on the surface. But models that rely on looking at external features of the stars have only had mixed success in predicting the solar cycles.
Zharkova’s team found that the sun’s magnetic fields come from two components from two different layers of its body, and suggests that looking at the interactions between these two magnetic waves either magnifies or diminishes the sun’s intensity.
Perhaps most startlingly, observations made by the team using this method suggest that we may be entering a period of reduced solar activity, meaning that a period of lower global temperatures could be on the way. These conditions could be similar to those seen during the “Little Ice Age” of the 1600s, the peak of which was called the “Maunder Minimum,” a 70-year period when sunspots became extremely rare.
“In the Northern Hemisphere … the rivers were frozen, there were winters and no summers, and so on,” Zharkova said of the Little Ice Age, adding that she estimated the new predicted sunspot minimum to last for 35 years.
Whether future cycles actually match the scientists’ predictions will put their model to the test, but some climate scientists were not accepting of the new research, with some even trying to suppress it.
“Some of them were welcoming and discussing. But some of them were quite – I would say – pushy,” she told The Global Warming Policy Forum in an interview. “They were trying to actually silence us. Some of them contacted the Royal Astronomical Society demanding, behind out back, to withdraw our press release.”
The Little Ice Age is a controversial topic among scientist, with some arguing that low solar activity contributed to cooler temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere and others contending atmospheric effects of volcanic eruptions pushed temperatures lower.

Is the United States using HAARP to devastate food supplies and cause mass starvation in other countries?
Wednesday, August 10, 2016 by: J. D. Heyes
Tags: HAARP, weather control, drought
In August 2010, as much of Russia's cultivable land was being consumed by flames, then-Russian Prime
Minister Vladimir Putin issued an order halting all grain exports, choosing instead to preserve what could
be harvested for his own people. The out-of-control wildfires spread quickly amid a punishing drought that
produced conditions leading to the destruction of more than one-third of Russian farmland used to grow crops.
Or was the drought to blame? Some suspected something much more sinister.
As reported by The Guardian, a UK-based newspaper, the Russian tabloid press openly posited at the time
that the United States may have been behind temperatures and drought not seen throughout Russia in 140
years. They speculated that the U.S. government was orchestrating the heatwave in order to give American
farmers an advantage in the global marketplace while sticking it to an old nemesis. They speculated that a
controversial experiment built and funded by the military and civilian institutes of higher learning was to blame.

Since the 80's I have been banging on about the scale, and speed of the changes we will see under AGW. The thing is that all humanity needed to do was light the blue touch Paper and Mother N. would do the rest? We have now burned out the touch paper and are about to get Mother N's part of the bargain. With the Sea ice drop of 07' uncovering up to a 1/3rd of the basin we began to gain more heat from a source long hidden from the Carbon Cycle. Since then we have seen the action move over to the U.S, side of the basin ( Beaufort Sea is near ice free at present) so the weather tweaks we have been seeing over Eurasia are now extending into the lower 48.
Currently each year the Arctic is adding about a moderate Nino's worth of energy into the climate system ( why such a moderate one last year blasted the records of the 'Super Nino' of 98' out of the water) Once we see a return of the 'perfect melt storm Synoptic' ( as we did in 07') the Arctic Basin will go ice free. This would put over 2 Nino's worth of energy into the climate system each year ( remember 'normal' Nino's only occur every 5 to 7 years) and this figure increases as the 'ice free' date moves back into the year ( settling out around when Hudson loses its ice?) so along with an atmosphere ever more caspable of holding onto heat we uncover another way of capturing that heat!
With 24hr sun at solstice the Arctic receives more energy per M squared than the equator ever does over any period of the year ( over 14Watts perM squared?) so a rapidly melting pack , exposing ever more 'dark water' at that time of year will not be a help?
This year we have seen the Jet punch through the intertropical convergence zone and into the winter side of the planet. This is far from 'normal' behaviour. The Quasi biennial Oscillation has also gone a bit nuts doing stuff that is supposed to be barred by the laws of Physics???
All in all another interesting year eh?

Conversely... it seems that NASA (ok ok.. grain of salt) completely disagrees with you ;)
A new NASA study says that an increase in Antarctic snow accumulation that began 10,000 years ago is currently adding enough ice to the continent to outweigh the increased losses from its thinning glaciers.
The research challenges the conclusions of other studies, including the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) 2013 report, which says that Antarctica is overall losing land ice.
According to the new analysis of satellite data, the Antarctic ice sheet showed a net gain of 112 billion tons of ice a year from 1992 to 2001. That net gain slowed to 82 billion tons of ice per year between 2003 and 2008.

Freak climate changes could spark ‘mini ice-age’ in Britain from 2017
Freak climate change events could cause a mini ice age in Britain in 2017 - a shock new prediction suggests.
Sat, Aug 13, 2016
A “triple whammy” of unlikely weather surprises could cause temperatures to plummet from next year.
Experts believe the UK could be in for a big freeze within the next few years as three major forms of climate change trigger "substantial cooling”.
Drastic changes in ocean conditions, greenhouse gases and a weakening of the sun threaten increasingly worsening winters of blistering blizzards and severe snowstorms for years to come.
Dramatic climate changes and "hasty policies" to handle them could mean "rolling blackouts" in the UK over the next few years.
These "worse case scenario" climate would hit the elderly hardest, leaving "some pensioners alone in the dark" on a freezing nights resigned to a "lonely death".
Scientists recently warned the sun's activity is at its lowest for 100 years and some have even drawn parallels with the period when the last mini ice age hit.
http://cdn.images.express.co.uk/img/dynamic/1/590x/secondary/BlizardPredicted-621961.jpg
It is predicted the next Maunder minimum could begin next year
Severe cold would be brought about for the most part by a big decrease in solar activity as the earth is warmed by "sunspots" and solar flares.
This drop in sunspot activity leads to a so-called Maunder Minimum, which is believed to be responsible for the cripplingly cold winters Europe experienced three centuries ago.
London's river Thames froze over during Britain’s last Maunder minimum period in the 1600s.
Drawing on 400 years of sunspot observations, experts believe we are heading for a similar temperature "minimum".
However, Grahame Madge, meteorologist for the Met Office, told Daily Star Online although a "grand solar minimum" is expected, it will do little to counteract global warming caused by man-made change.
Irregular and complex climatic changes affecting the equatorial Pacific region, known as El Niño, could also play a major part.

I was here last year sharing on how I keep seeing a High Pressure Ridge out in the East Pacific Ocean always bobbing North and South making the Jet Stream change more dramatically. I have not seen the Western Coast of the USA having it cooler, but hotter. It's more like the High Pressure System in the East Pacific Ocean changing the Jet Stream so dramatically that it brings the Arctic Down in the Jet Stream over Central USA more, which brings that cold down more towards Eastern USA. Which I was told H.A.A.R.P. and these other places are shooting beams in the Atmosphere (Making this bobbing High Pressure System I have constantly been seeing in the East Pacific Ocean for years.) Clouds just disappear before hitting the Coast of California, Oregon and Washington. Clouds look blocked and start detouring to the North or South or Dissipate on Radar I look at for years. businesses and homes are without power. Conservation biologist Dr.Reece Halter joins

In an excerpt to me from David DuByne (ADAPT 2030):
The Southern Hemisphere is lagging one season behind the Northern Hemisphere, they are now beginning to have cold spells and crops losses that were experienced in NH 2014-2015. Now we head into this winter 2016-2017 in NH, we can get a gauge of the cold and crop damage as we head into fall. This is the barometer and gauge I need to really get a working model for cooling and intensity. It will cool this winter but how ferocious will determine the speed of the over all cooling.
Look for blizzards in September and epic snows in November to see the trend.
Remember the signs you need to look for are:

Coastguards are warning people to stay a safe distance from rough seas after six people died around Britain.
"It's not often we see winds of such high strength at this time of year," national maritime operations commander for the UK Coastguard Tris Newey told the Today programme.

Following the above idea of an increase of the spinning power of vortices/vortexes, there is an increasing up trend of injuries resulting from airplanes running into "invisible" vortex - also known as "Clear-air turbulence (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clear-air_turbulence)":
'1,000 foot drops': Severe turbulence causes multiple injuries on Houston to London flight (http://www.irishnews.com/news/republicofirelandnews/2016/08/31/news/passenger-tells-of-1-000ft-drops-after-severe-turbulence-hits-united-airlines-flight-676371/)

The United Airlines flight from Houston, Texas in the US to London Heathrow had to be diverted to Shannon Airport.
A plane passenger said he feared for his life as a transatlantic jet dropped in severe turbulence injuring 16 people on board before landing at Shannon Airport.
Gregory Giagnocavo, a telecoms investor and entrepreneur from Colorado in the US, was on the United Airlines flight when it suddenly plummeted four times.
"These were petrifying, enormous drops. A part of me didn't know if we were going to make it. It was that bad," he said.
"I gripped the arm rest and thought whether the next sound was going to be hitting the water."
Flight UA880 from Houston, Texas, to London Heathrow was over the Atlantic at about 3.20am on Wednesday morning when it hit what the airline described as severe and unexpected turbulence.
The pilots diverted to Shannon Airport in Ireland for the injured to be treated including two flight attendants, one with a suspected broken arm and another who was bleeding from a cut head.
Three children were also treated in University Hospital Limerick after the plane was met on the runway by ambulance and paramedic crews.
United Airlines said it provided care and support to customers and crew after the plane touched down in Ireland.
There were 207 passengers on the Boeing 767-300 and 13 crew including three pilots in the cockpit.
Another plane was arranged to fly the final stretch of the journey to Heathrow just after midday while the jet remained in Shannon for investigators to assess.
Mr Giagnocavo, in London to meet developers and technology experts as part of a three-day brainstorming trip across Europe, said many passengers were trying to sleep through the overnight flight and were strapped in.
"It fell four times in a row," he said.
"It was a tremendous pull on the body. And on the third or fourth time babies starting waking up and crying, people were waking up disorientated.
"I thought this is not turbulence. This is what feels like a life-threatening drop. This is not like any feeling I have had. This is immediately like an experience of being fired from a cannon.
"It pulls you down so hard then it stops for a second and then it does that four times in a row.
"If you didn't have your seat belt on you would have smashed your head."
The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) said the incident would be investigated.
The alarm was raised with Irish air traffic control staff at 3.20am and the plane landed in Shannon at 5.55am and was met by ambulance and paramedic crews on the runway.
Mr Giagnocavo, who has flown regularly for 30 years, said a man sitting across an aisle from him had been with one of the flight attendants in the galley when she was injured and he was knocked off his feet by the force of the turbulence.
He said a retired pilot who was on the flight speculated that the plane plummeted about 1,000 feet in each of the drops.

Regarding these "Clear-Air-Turbulences" (CAT), from a PPRuNe post:

The research is frankly in early days, but I know and work with Paul Williams, and the article is a reasonable explanation of some aspects of his work.
The basic principle is quite simple - increased energy in the atmosphere (global warming / climate change / call it what you will) is particularly causing increased circulation in the atmosphere, and that is putting more energy into the jetstreams.
The north polar jetstream is particularly significant because of its importance in transatlantic flight. There's good evidence that the NPJ is becoming more energetic - this has two impacts: one is that the Rossby Waves (the meanders in the jetstream) are getting wider, another is that the core velocity in the NPJ is greater. This we know.
Because major CAT encounters are particularly associated with the edges of the jetstream, then theoretically this is going to both create more opportunities for CAT encounters (as there will be more intersections of the NPJ) and more severe CAT (because of the greater sheer stresses caused by the greater core velocities).
Anecdotally, this "seems to be" true, but at the moment, the hard evidence is pretty weak. We're working with one major carrier to mine their flight recorder data, and as we go further will probably be more players we talk to as well.
But it would not be true to say that we know a lot yet - we're at the start of a research journey here. Nonetheless, if we are right - it's important, and that's why we're working on it.
There are a load of other effects we're looking at as well - if anybody happened to be at Farnborough Airshow this year, on the Wednesday, you might have heard me give a talk on it.

Looks like a good time to be near the equator ;)
In the 4 years I've been here I've noticed that our weather is EXTREMELY predictable.. it's a 10 degree variance .. 95' is the highest it gets in the summer and 85 in the winter (85 is more common than 95).
if ANYONE will notice climate change first, it will be the tropics (http://www.ibtimes.com/climate-change-will-affect-tropics-first-long-arctic-sees-shift-1419618); regional climate changes won't be noticed in the tropics...
So far I haven't noticed any variance in temperature; but my sample is not very large & I haven't been paying close attention.
Now, if you look at a 20 year temp data set (http://weather-warehouse.com/WeatherHistory/PastWeatherData_CharlotteAmalieHarrySTrum_StThomas _VI_January.html)... there's definitely some cooling going on ever since the mid 1990's (this is from the airport on St Thomas, I don't live on that island).
I think that's too short a period to predict an "ice age" or any massive cooling, but it looks to be a clear trend.

So much for teaching science. I showed Alan the figures for England since 1663 and specifically how the last 8 years had shown a drop in mean temperatures each year up to and including this year. I believe he is heading off to school tomorrow to tell his teacher that his Dad says he is wrong.

I'm currently subscrbing to the theory of a reduced magnetosphere and a solar minimum. We are as ants to such processes.
The solar minimum is the biggie.. the sun's strength keeps a lot of cosmic rays from reaching us (as it blasts them away with its OWN rays.. that we like ;) ) and cosmic rays induce cloud formation which causes cooling which in the past was when the Bubonic Plauge hit Europe (http://study.com/academy/lesson/the-little-ice-age-and-the-black-death.html)... so no good things come from that.
The sun was worshiped as a god for a LONG time for a VERY good reason, it's highly influential on earth & the only reason we live currently.

(Calgary, AB) Last two weeks average highs about -21C(-6f) and average lows about minus 26C (a couple minus 28 and up to minus 36 windchills) Current windchill right now ... -29c (that's minus 20f).
Finally reprieve in two days! A Chinook wind (warm westerly that comes off the pacific lifts over the Coast mountains, then the Rockies, then comes down to the surface where the prairies start) blows in on Tuesday to give us +2C (36f) ... we got -10C today ... felt pretty darn good by recent comparison! This is a drastic change from November where the highs where well above freezing pretty much the whole month. I should probably note the average daytime high this time of year is around 0C or freezing :)
That said, cold snaps aren't too weird here (although last year it was a steady mild the whole winter) -- usually at least once a winter. It's the bouncing back and forth at the extremes that is a bit more odd.

Earth Changes Summary | November 2016 : Extreme Weather, Planetary Upheaval, Meteor Fireballs
Published 17th December 2016
With liberal elites going into meltdown last month over 'Trumpocalypse', the stewards of empire are rapidly losing whatever grip they once had on reality. At the same time, with extreme weather event after extreme weather event impacting every region on Earth, it's as if this descent into madness is being marked every step of the way by Mother Nature. Disastrous climatic events in November 2016 included: Snow, hail and flooding in the deserts of Saudi Arabia (again) New Zealand's second strongest tremor in the modern era Johannesburg's worst flash-flood in living memory Another powerful quake (and another tsunami) off Fukushima, Japan Outbreak of 'thunder asthma' in Melbourne, Australia, which killed 8 people and sent another 8,500 to hospital The latest Atlantic Hurricane in the modern era (and the most southerly, and the first to ever make landfall in Costa Rica) Unprecedented 'superfires' torching swathes of the US Southeast
Those are just some of the more 'unusual' events in our latest Earth Changes Summary video, which also includes the other more 'normal' stuff: monster sinkholes swallowing multiple cars, people and homes - deluges washing away more homes, cars and people - massive meteor fireballs panicking people into thinking aliens have invaded - destructive tornadoes touching down in the capitals of Rome and South Africa - record November snowfalls in parts of northern US, northern China, and northern Europe...
We are, of course, being facetious. There's nothing normal about any of this. We've entered a new global climate. Forecasting models are largely redundant at this point. The costs from all this destruction pile up ever higher with each passing month. Until now, elites have either ignored the climate/planetary upheaval, or blamed ordinary people for causing one or another symptom, then carried on milking taxpayers and spreading wars. No doubt, given recent patterns, they're soon going to start blaming it all on Putin.

I have wanted to ask those of the membership of Project Avalon a few questions about all this for a long time. Now is a good time.
The following does not include the possibility that nefarious elements among humanity are intentionally manipulating Earth's climate which many here believe has been occurring. Why I am excluding this is because if this is actually going on to the degree the overall global climate is effected, then the following questions do not need to be made. Instead the activity should stop or be stopped.
Assuming there is universal agreement that the Earth is indeed experiencing an unusual shift in climate and at a rate which is highly and perhaps alarmingly unusual, then my questions are -
Question 1 - To what degree does human activity have anything to do with this? I am asking those who feel they know to give their estimate as a percentage and to list their reasons that might support their number... reasons which have sound scientific backing. (There is more to this question which will come out based on responses).
Question 2 - If the answer to Question 1 is that human activity has actually had very little or almost no impact on the climate and climate change while still assuming the above noted assumption, is there anything humanity can do that may actually help to alter this shift towards more stability?

Great questions. I'd like to read what Hervé has to say. (He may know quite a bit more than most, here.) My own strong suspicion (and working assumption/evaluation) is that it's all a natural cycle, with human activity maybe being a real but minor factor.

I forget which thread (I think it was two), but I did some math showing that if humanity took every bit of power it currently generates (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_energy_consumption) and used all of that at 100% efficiency to heat the oceans, we would manage to raise the temperature something like .000001 degrees a year with our influence (and I don't think it would be a lasting one..)
The math shows that we are, collectively, a flea on a dog... Yes we can make some small patches nasty and itchy.. but over all the dog doesn't notice 1 flea.
Question 2 - If the answer to Question 1 is that human activity has actually had very little or almost no impact on the climate and climate change while still assuming the above noted assumption, is there anything humanity can do that may actually help to alter this shift towards more stability?
We couldn't do anything if we tried, not in the near future at least... we just are not currently capable of it.
Rapid change may not be something WE are used to (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1227990/Ice-Age-took-just-SIX-months-arrive--10-years.html)... but our entire history has been a blink of an eye for the planet... very arrogant for us to even think that something other than a natural cycle is happening.

As for my opinion and summary, from here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?90378-The-Earth-s-Magnetic-Field-Did-Not-Collapse-This-Week&p=1065032&viewfull=1#post1065032) (<---):

Now the real question is, how fast will the fear porn machine switch gears?
My bet is the "global warming" masquerading as "climate change" will continue for a while longer yet while contradicting reports like this continue to come out.
This winters already turning out to be record breaking in the US.. There area I grew up in just destroyed a record for snow fall set in 1919.
The further away from the equator the more "exciting" it will be.

It's hard to see it as just greed alone; I can forgive that type of speculation (though I don't agree).

Heavy Snow and Arctic Temperatures Slam Southern Europe:
34792
In Italy, sub-freezing temperatures were blamed for the deaths of a half-dozen homeless people. Heavy snow and high winds resulted in re-routed flights, delayed ferries, canceled trains and closed roads, media reported.
With no indications of a letup, some schools in southern Italy were ordered not to open on Monday because of the meter (yard) of snow already had buried some areas, the ANSA news agency reported.
The chill didn't spare sunny Rome. The fountains in St. Peter's Square froze overnight and dripped icicles instead.
Temperatures dropped to -7 degrees Celsius (19 degrees Fahrenheit) in Greece's second largest city of Thessaloniki, and -10 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit) was expected Sunday, according to the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.
Several Greek islands, otherwise known for their sunny and warm weather, were blanketed in snow. Roads were closed temporarily across large swathes of northern Greece due to snow and ice.
Heavy snow also crippled Istanbul, and national carrier Turkish Airlines canceled more than 650 flights. The state-run Anadolu news agency reported that even the Bosporus Strait — which runs through Istanbul and is one of Europe's busiest shipping lanes — was closed and ferry service halted.
Turkey's private Dogan news agency reported that one of the main highways in Istanbul practically turned into a parking lot after drivers deserted their cars Friday night to walk home rather than battle the gusting snow and slippery roads.
A pair of delivery men whose truck was parked on a side street made the best of the situation, engaging in a snowball fight in between pushing their loads through mounds of snow that built up at the roadside.
In northern Europe, where residents are accustomed to subzero temperatures and snowy winters, police in Denmark warned about icy and slippery roads after dozens of minor traffic accidents.
Temperatures in Latvia were forecast to drop to -30 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit) late Saturday, the Baltic News Agency said.

After I watched Leonardo DiCaprio's recent documentary "Before The Flood" I took an hour to look into a few things and then summarized them on a blog post. It was amazing how easy it was to take the documentary apart. At the risk of being arrested and sent to a re-education camp for being a climate-change denier, here's an excerpt from that post -- note that I never say the climate isn't changing. I just conclude DiCaprio and his cohorts in the climate-change secular religion have woefully oversimplified things.
"I do find it funny how the secular climate religion conveniently had to change its name from 'global warming' to 'climate change.' I guess after the high priests had already given hell-and-brimstone sermons on the skyrocketing temperatures to come and the rising seas that would soon inundate your cul-de-sac, they realized that their hyped doom and gloom might not play out as quickly as advertised - or at all. What would they tell the faithful? The fact may be that Mother Earth has some tricks yet in store for puny humans. Yes, it's just as likely there will be ice melts, and those melts will turn ice into water and all of that will dump in the oceans, and all of that fresh water will change the salinity levels of the oceans, and that will modify ocean currents, and that will mean far less warm water flowing into northern and southern latitudes from the equatorial regions, and that could trigger an ice age, and that could reform large ice sheets over continents -- just like the Earth has done repeatedly for millions of years. And ironically enough, the next ice age will use up a lot of water in all of that new ice, and that new ice will be produced by evaporation from the warming-- which means global warming might be only the trigger for a coming ice age that will actually lower sea levels, just like in the past. I once read an article by a scientist who said when the Earth goes into an ice age, it's like a person catching a cold -- chills and fever.
What humans can't accept is that the Earth has its own ideas about how it will handle situations, including us. The Earth has self-correcting systems and cycles in place fine-tuned over billions of years. Too much of one thing eventually triggers a swing the other way. By our fossil-burning actions we may only be nudging the Earth into doing something a bit earlier than the natural flow of what was going to happen anyway, but that's all. Human civilization developed in an atypical period of stable climate. Larger natural cycles will eventually return to typical patterns. The relatively quiet 12,000 years of stable global climate may have run its atypical course. This is not just caused by man-made fossil-fuel burning. This is the natural order of things."

The great thing about Avalon is we look at topics from both sides...
Climate Change is real, the question is whether it is being caused by humans.
Understanding Koch is the Chemtrails company that will profit 100s of Millions from the Russian arctic fracking operation makes the answer quite obvious to me. Did you know Koch Bros get paid royalties from every Fracking operation in the world for creating the process?
Warming the poles to set up fracking operations is dangerous, mother nature has no chance to correct itself.
2011 and 2016 are record low ice levels in the Arctic, repeating 5 year cycles of warmth?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaKm89eVhoE
Who is paying more for internet trolls, Trump's team of warmongering oil men, or Koch's?
Climate change denial is protecting the ones engineering these changes.
If man created the problem, then we should be able to fix it. If it wasn't man, then what is changing in the Universe to cause it?
It is far easier to deny and ignore than to find answers...
"LONDON (Reuters) - A release of methane in the Arctic could speed the melting of sea ice and climate change with a cost to the global economy of up to $60 trillion over coming decades, according to a paper published in the journal Nature. (Scientific American is part of Nature Publishing Group.)
Researchers at the University of Cambridge and Erasmus University in the Netherlands used economic modeling to calculate the consequences of a release of a 50-gigatonne reservoir of methane from thawing permafrost under the East Siberian Sea.
They examined a scenario in which there is a release of methane over a decade as global temperatures rise at their current pace.
They also looked at lower and slower releases, yet all produced "steep" economic costs stemming from physical changes to the Arctic.
"The global impact of a warming Arctic is an economic time-bomb," said Gail Whiteman, an author of the report and professor of sustainability, management and climate change at the Rotterdam School of Management, part of Erasmus University.
"In the absence of climate-change mitigation measures, the model calculates that it would increase mean global climate impacts by $60 trillion," said Chris Hope, a reader in policy modeling at the Cambridge Judge Business School, part of the University of Cambridge.
That approaches the value of the global economy, which was around $70 trillion last year.
The costs could be even greater if other factors such as ocean acidification were included, the study said, or reduced to some $37 trillion if action is taken to lower emissions.
As much as 80 percent of the costs would likely be borne by developing countries experiencing more extreme weather, flooding, droughts and poorer health as the Arctic melt affects the global climate, the paper said.
Methane is a greenhouse gas usually trapped as methane hydrate in sediment beneath the seabed. As temperatures rise, the hydrate breaks down and methane is released from the seabed, mostly dissolving into the seawater.
But if trapped methane were to break the sea surface and escape into the atmosphere, it could "speed up sea-ice retreat, reduce the reflection of solar energy and accelerate the melting of the Greenland ice sheet," the study said.
It said that could bring forward the date at which the global mean temperature rise exceeds 2 degrees Celsius by between 15 and 35 years - to 2035 if no action is taken to curb emissions and to 2040 if enough action is taken to have a 50 percent chance of keeping the rise below 2 degrees.
Scientists have said the rise in global average temperatures this century needs to stay below 2 degrees Celsius to prevent devastating climate effects such as crop failure and melting glaciers.
However, the International Energy Agency warned last month that the world is on course for a rise of 3.6 to 5.3 degrees Celsius citing record high global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions last year.
The Arctic has oil and gas reserves which Lloyd's of London has estimated could draw investment of up to $100 billion within a decade. Environmentalists warn Arctic drilling is too risky and could have devastating consequences for the region.". https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/arctic-methane-release-could-cost-60t/
They are fracking the whole arctic seabed, this release could all happen within a year as fracking punches holes in the protective earth holding it down.
No one is complaining...
Why isn't the media screaming about this?
Oh yeah, Climate change is nothing to worry about, imagine if the clock moves up from 2035, to 2020... That is how serious this is...
They will just blame it on Nibiru...
If they were interested in energy instead of killing off 95% of the planet, remove the Methane before starting the fracking.
50-gigatonne reservoir of methane from thawing permafrost under the East Siberian Sea could be used to power electric plants, enough to power earth for a few thousand years.
This video is Chemtrails 101 for those new to the idea, this will give you a complete education.

Getting cold up in the far north... I thought the arctic vortex shifting would give alaska a warmer summer.
50 below recorded in Interior as cold snap settles on Alaska
Fairbanks and Anchorage woke up Wednesday to an early taste of an expected cold snap this week, as temperatures plunged to 50 degrees below zero in some areas of the Interior.
The National Weather Service office in Fairbanks issued special weather statements Wednesday morning for the eastern Interior and western Interior warning of similar temperatures in valleys across the region and rising to only about 20 below on hilltops or in coastal areas.
Morning lows for the western Interior included 47 below in Fairbanks, 49 below at Fort Wainwright, 51 below at Eielson Air Force Base and Nenana, and 54 below in Tanana. In the east, lows ranged from 44 below in Ambler and Shungnak to 45 below in Galena, 47 below in Kaltag and 51 below in McGrath, Huslia and Nikolai.
Christopher Cox, the lead meteorologist at the Fairbanks office, said the region's overnight forecast called for temperatures in some outlying areas in "the high (minus) 50s" that might approach 60 below. He discounted Interior reports on social media late Wednesday morning of 60-below readings, saying they were likely based on electronic thermometers that become unreliable at 40 below.
"We've got thermometers that are reading 60 below, but they're inaccurate," Cox said. "We're going to be close (to that temperature) in some of the outlying spots, but not for Fairbanks."
In Southcentral Alaska, NWS meteorologist Bob Clay said the coldest Southcentral communities Wednesday included Talkeetna at 29 below, Wasilla at 27 below and Palmer at 20 below. Temperatures in the Anchorage Bowl were as low as the minus teens; Eagle River was at about 16 below.
Jim Brader, a Fairbanks-based NWS meteorologist, said temperatures fell quickly as the cold snap arrived Tuesday, hitting 30 below there by afternoon and 40 below by evening. He said relatively warmer weather should prevail beginning Friday due to cloud cover being brought into the area by two storms.
"There's one in the Gulf of Alaska that's moving into the Yukon territory tonight, and that's moving some clouds into the area along the border — we have another system in the Bering Sea that's starting to spread some clouds into the Yukon-Kuskokwim (Delta)," Brader said. "By the weekend we'll be somewhere in the 0 to 20 below region, which is generally the norm for this time of year."
Clay said cold is still in the Anchorage forecast for the next few days, as well as for much of Southcentral.
"We'll have a cold trough that's moving through tonight; it'll still be fairly cold Thursday morning," Clay said. "We're expecting 14 below at the airport, probably in the minus 20s elsewhere."
Southcentral should see the same relief from those lows as the Interior, due to the shifting statewide weather patterns.

The sand dunes were turned into snow-covered hills
These bizarre scenes from the Sahara Desert show locals sledging down sand dunes after the heaviest snowfall in living memory.
Photographers have taken incredible pictures this morning of ONE METRE deep snow covering the sand in the small Saharan desert town of Ain Sefra.
The town saw a sprinkling of snow just before Christmas, when a few flakes settled on the red sand dunes of the world's hottest desert for the first time in 37 years.

But today the snow has been falling steadily and is now waist deep in some parts of Ain Sefra, which is known as "The Gateway to the Desert."
The snow has caused chaos in the town, with passengers stranded on buses after the roads became slippery and icy.
Children are making the most of the rare snow storm and are building SNOWMEN in the desert town and SLEDGING down the sand dunes.
Photographer Sekkouri Kamel, 38, said: "It started snowing at around 1.30am this morning and is now one metre deep in some places. It's absolutely incredible to have so much snow.

The freak weather has totally changed the look of the place
Apart from the sprinkling before Christmas, snow was last seen in Ain Sefra on February 18, 1979, when the snow storm lasted just half an hour.
The Sahara Desert covers most of Northern Africa and it has gone through shifts in temperature and moisture over the past few hundred thousand years.
Although the Sahara is very dry today, it is expected to become green again in about 15000 years.
It comes after expats who thought they had left behind the cold British winter and moved to Spain were in for a shock this week when Majorca and Benidorm were covered in a blanket of snow .
Brits who have retired to sunnier climes were greeted by the first snow in years with temperatures on the island of Majorca dipping to -2C.
Roads in the small Majorcan village of Valldemossa ground to a halt while on the mainland in Benidorm temperatures dipped below zero despite the average for January normally expected to be a balmy 17C.
Beaches, pools and promenades were covered with a layer of snow as temperatures dipped down to just 7C in the Costa Blanca.

Earth Changes Summary | December 2016
Published 20th January 2017
As we enter a new and uncertain geopolitical climate with the inauguration of US President Donald Trump, so we also appear to be entering a new and uncertain natural climate.
The relentless global escalation of extreme weather, geological upheaval, and cosmic bombardment continued last month, ending a year the authorities claim was (again) "the warmest ever - and it's humans' fault."
Still no explanation from them as to how 'man-made CO2' is responsible for - among other new or increased natural phenomena - all the sinkholes opening up and killing people; the meteor fireballs raining out of the sky; redirecting the course of high-altitude jet streams; and increasing the frequency of earthquakes two or three-fold.
But pay no attention to those details - they're probably just signs that we're heading into another ice age.
Highlights in this Earth Changes Summary video for December 2016 include:
Persistent, heavy fog across the world last month - northern Europe, India, China and the Persian Gulf
Return of the 'polar vortex' to both North America and Russia, bringing record-breaking snow and cold temperatures
Snow in the Sahara Desert, Arabian Desert, and Syria
Thundersnow, snow-nadoes, 'fog walls', 'fog domes', 'spinning ice disks', and other bizarre cold weather-related phenomena!
Severe flash-flooding (and a tornado) across southern 'sunny' Spain
Outbreak of forest fires in the Swiss Alps... in winter!?
At least a half dozen spectacular meteor fireball events in North and South America, Europe, and Central Asia
A string of powerful earthquakes and volcanic eruptions around the Pacific Ring of Fire
Widespread flooding in Southeast Asia during its 'dry season'
Record-breaking rainfall in Australia's desert regions

EWAN MACKIE Cardrona Alpine Resort guests awoke to 30 centimetres of fresh snow on Sunday morning.
Guests at Cardrona Alpine Resort, near Wanaka, have woken to a winter wonderland – in the middle of summer.
Light snow began falling on Saturday afternoon, but increased to heavy falls overnight, leaving a 30-centimetre base, Cardrona marketing coordinator Matt McIvor said. The white stuff was still falling on Sunday morning.
In five years at the resort McIvor said he had never seen these conditions in January.

"It definitely feels like winter up here. This is a powder day."
Some resort guests from Vietnam and China told McIvor they had never seen snow before.
The resort is open for summer activities, including mountain biking, carting, walking and tubing, but the record snowfall would put a stop to those today, McIvor said.

ROSS LAWRENCE Fresh snow at The Remarkables skifield near Queenstown on Sunday morning.
"I think they'll be making snowmen today."
The access road to the resort was restricted to four-wheel drive only, McIvor said.
The unusually heavy snowfall also hit The Remarkables, near Queenstown, ski area, manager Ross Lawrence said.

EWAN MACKIE A car covered in snow at the Cardrona Alpine Resort.
"The quantity is not regular, but we did get heavy snow like this in the summer of 2014/15."
Lawrence said falls had stopped by midday on Sunday and temperatures had warmed up during the morning.
"I don't think it will be around for long."
Metservice forecaster Cameron Coutts said the heavy snowfall in the Southern Alps was "quite unusual" for this time of year and was a result of the deep low that had created ideal conditions.
"It has brought the moist air over the top of cold air at lower levels."
There were no signs of more snow-making conditions in the coming week, as Coutts said the South Island would settle back in to a westerly and southwesterly pattern from Monday, meaning "spring-like" weather.
Regular fronts would continue to bring rain and some light snow fall before warmer weather later in February, he said.

The north pole is moving towards Greenland, which seems to be helping...
"Greenland’s ice sheet kicked off 2017 gaining about eight gigatons of snow and ice, which is well above what’s usually added to the ice sheet Jan. 1 for the last 24 years, according to Danish meteorologists.
In fact, Greenland’s ice sheet has been gaining ice and snow at a rate not seen in years based on Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) data. DMI reports the Greenland ice sheet’s “mass surface budget” has been growing significantly since October.
Greenland’s “surface mass budget” for winter 2016-2017 is already more than two standard deviations higher than the northern ice sheet’s mean snow and ice accumulation over the last 24 years. DMI data shows the ice sheet added 8 gigatons of ice and snow Jan. 1, well above the standard deviation for that day.". http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/02/greenland-enters-2017-adding-extraordinary-amounts-of-ice-and-snow/

I think coconut oil solidifies at 72* or so? its normally 75-85 in the winters, been hitting the high 60's at night.
I know this is anecdotal, but I live 17* above the equator and have some of the most stable "weather/climate" in the world (anyone near the equator does), lots of locals mention its been very cold lately (I like it.. haha) and then I saw my coconut oil being solid..

The
s mark the position of the north magnetic pole at various years from 1831—2005. It's moving, and moving faster all the time.
The circle where the longitude lines converge is the north geographic pole, which you see on all maps and doesn't move at all unless there's some catastrophic event like a crust displacement, or a physical pole shift.

so it's going TO the north pole (map) not away from it? for some reason I was under the impression it was drifting south, not "north" ??

this article (http://www.sciencealert.com/here-s-why-the-north-pole-is-slowly-moving-towards-london) says in april of 2016 that "it was assumed that water was playing a role in some way, but most of the blame was put on climate change and the melting of the Greenland Ice Sheet (http://gizmodo.com/we-finally-know-why-the-north-pole-is-moving-east-1769588584). "
but now as of january this year (http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/02/greenland-enters-2017-adding-extraordinary-amounts-of-ice-and-snow/) greenland gained 8 gigatons of ice sheet.

Rocky, you don't understand what you're reading, or writing (on this subject! :) ). The article is about the physical (geographic) north pole. Moving by 17 cm annually. 17 cm is just over 6 inches.
The large movement in the maps above shows the accelerating (and significant) wandering of the magnetic north pole. That's energetic, as it were, unconnected with the physical movement of anything at all, anywhere.

The north pole is the point the earth spins around, where magnetic north drifts around. In a polar reversal, magnetic poles reverse but the earths axis continues spinning from the same point. So location north pole and magnetic north can be opposite sides of the planet...

This is now the second "Rare" summer snowfall in New Zealand.
The year has so far been below normal temperatures for several parts of the country, but the last out of season Antarctic low brought a foot of snow in the middle of summer.
Apple shortages across the country and out of season rains have prompted farmers to hire helicopters to hover over the fields to dry fruit.

Look, fellow, do you even understand what that picture is showing? I expect you think the sun will have gone out completely in a month or two don't you?
Hi Nick, been looking at coronal holes for years - I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary with the one posted (either)..
Possibly this short 17 second vid could(?) offer some levity ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgHxFNFWlZc
Real-time Solar wind monitors (see below) didn't indicate anything in the "out of norms" - no reason for any "alert". Auroral predictions "mild" for some auroral activity about the 31'st.

As can be seen above, the instrumentation is working fine with no difficulties.

Re Hervé's post #157...
Yup, I can validate that from where I am anyway - temperatures here are more like we would expect to see around mid-March; but wild variations: quite cold at night (unusual for this time of year), hot during the day. Really strong winds all over the country and we were hit with a massive and damaging weather bomb last week, mostly in the Sth Island. Temperatures plunged suddenly during that storm to 4 degrees C. (The "norm" would be around 12 - 17 degrees C at night -> 27+ degrees C during the day). We didn't get snow where I am but the car had a nice icy coating of frost on it in the morning.
Also producing some spectacular and quite "weird" looking cloud patterns.

Thanks Bob and Kiwi.
Yes, the guy doesn't know what he's looking at, and just reposts other stuff he doesn't understand.
Weird weather has little if anything to do with coronal holes. They happen all the time. Weird weather happens all the time. And let's not confuse correlation with causation shall we?
But why do people insist in posting stuff they don't understand and then make things worse by drawing silly conclusions? What do they get out of it? If I did that, and got called out over it, I'd feel humiliated, stupid or at least embarrassed, and wouldn't do it again.

Re: Greenland ice sheet. The origional data for the mass gain is not able to see below 1,000ft so cannot gauge mass loss.
Re: NZ snow. This is the second year running that we have been seeing cold plunges/WAA in the way the northern Hemisphere have had to become accustomed since the turn of the century. Be it partially 'natural' or fully AGW forced doesn't make a difference is you are having to live with the consequences. This years early ice max , in the Sea Ice around Antarctica, and record withdrawal through spring is hinting at a change in fortune for the southern hemisphere.
For 30 years Antarctica has been protected from global warmth by its circumpolar wind/currents which had been 'tweaked' into extreme behaviours due to 'natural cycles' and the impacts of the Ozone hole effectively placing Antarctica in 'splendid isolation' from the changes ongoing across the rest of the world.
Since 2014 the naturals flipped back to the patterns we saw through the 50's/60's/70's ( and the record sea ice losses measured then) whilst NASA reports a much reduced Ozone hole.
Is it a coincidence that we now see polar plunges/WAA patterns arriving around the S. Hemisphere or the rapid destruction of winter ice this summer?
This appears to come at a very bad time for the planet as Asian Pollution reductions is leading to a rapid warming across the Pacific forcing both PDO and IPO positive back in 2014 ( and doing for the promised 'balancing Nina after the recent el Nino?). The impacts have now allowed the top levels of the tropopause to take up large amounts of water vapour ( a strong GHG) leading to impacts in the Stratosphere ( the failure of the 'old faithful' of the strat to reverse easterly last Feb?) and impacts on the PV over the winter pole ( and so mess with the Jet stream).
If folk thought climate change took generations then the next 5 years will be an education!

I don't feel embarrassed or humiliated sharing a coronal hole that was a sliver grew massive in 4 days following an event that broke magnetic lines which are now out in front of our magnetosphere. I want to know why, maybe it is beyond you, so your comments mean nothing to those looking for answers.

soho images dated 1-29 were still showing an image from the 25th...
All online Magnetosphere real time images were pulled offline so you can't study what just occurred.
So we are in a blackout of what just occured, so though I would like to show and study what I am trying to explore, it isn't possible.
This automatically creates suspicion that they are hiding something from us. Why?
From what I can tell it came in from space, not the sun side.
Anti-matter burst?
What cuts magnetic lines?
I've been studying solar for years, after a good solar blast, we watch the magnetic lines bounce around, but I have never seen one break much less 8-10 snapped all at the same time.
Could whatever broke these lines continued on into the sun, taking a tiny sliver of a coronal hole and turning it massive in days?

Really. Studying 'solar'. Interesting. I've never heard anyone seriously studying solar physics describe it like that before.
So you say eight to 10 magnetic lines have snapped. Where did you get this information? And how many are there in total anyway? Who counted them and how?
As they say, when you're in a hole, stop digging...

"These explosive releases of energy are produced in the process of magnetic reconnection – a fundamental process in our Solar System and astrophysical plasmas, through which stored magnetic energy associated with current sheets is converted into thermal, kinetic and wave energy.
This process is well studied at Earth and is an important part of space weather, involved in energizing the radiation belts and producing dazzling aurora borealis displays.
A team of planetary scientists, led by Dr Chris Arridge of Lancaster University, used data from Cassini to show that the orbiter had passed through the region at Saturn where magnetic reconnection was occurring, which has never before been observed.
“One of the mysteries this gives us clues to answering is how Saturn’s magnetosphere gets rid of gas from Saturn’s moon Enceladus,” Dr Arridge said.
“Through jets at its south pole, this small, icy moon ejects around 100 kg of water into space every second.”
Water from the Enceladus plume is trapped in the magnetosphere of Saturn.
“We know it can’t just stay there for ever and until now we have not been able to work out how it has been ejected from the magnetosphere,” Dr Arridge said.
Previous study has suggested that magnetic reconnection can’t allow all enough plasma to escape from the magnetosphere.
The new results, published online in the journal Nature Physics, show that this is indeed possible.
“These results, although directly relating to the magnetosphere of Saturn, have applications in the understanding of other rapidly rotating magnetospheres, including that of Jupiter and other astrophysical bodies,” the scientists said."". http://www.sci-news.com/space/explosive-releases-energy-saturns-magnetosphere-03478.html
Explosions are normally from connecting...
So how do "YOU" explain why they are still broken?
Something blew a massive hole in our magnetosphere, and it isn't repairing, Solar winds are about to start and a Coronal hole just opened up to massive to follow this storm.
If you understood what I am sharing, and told me not to worry, I would drop it without another word. Tell me it was planned and executed to blast the greenhouse gasses out of our atmosphere by Wilcock's. ET buddies to bring the planet back to normal would work too...

Come on Rocky lad. I never said they were broken. It was YOU who said "eight to ten" were broken in post #168.
We're still waiting for you to tell us how you know that. How many there are that could get broken, who counted them, when and how.
It's the Earth we're discussing here. Please keep Saturn out of this. Thank you. Carry on...
PS: You might like to bear in mind that thousands of radio amateurs all over the globe are experiencing F2 ionospheric propagation to be exactly as expected given the current solar activity. If anything was seriously wrong, we'd have noticed.

The last time it happened was only a few years ago from a filament eruption. Scientists couldn't explain it then either.
https://watchers.news/2012/02/17/crack-that-opened-in-earths-magnetic-field-on-feb-15th-still-a-puzzle-to-scientists/?id=11023&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Feb 2012
"On February 10th there was filament eruption in the northern hemisphere that produced CME which traveled few days before reaching our magnetosphere on February 14. As magnetic disturbance rippled around the Arctic circle on February 14th, it opened a crack in our planet's shield and it is still a puzzle to our scientists. At the time, local solar wind data showed nothing but disturbance that just happened. The interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) amplified the display. The IMF near Earth tilted sharply south for long durations, opening a crack in our geomagnetic field. Solar wind poured in and it helped to trigger a brief G1 Geomagnetic Storm at high latitudes and fueled the widespread auroras.
The magnetosphere acts as a shield that protects us from solar storms. Expert say that the reason for this outburst is still not completely clear."
My theory is, since this is the second time we have had an event at almost this same position around the sun. If you draw a line outward from the sun passing through earth on the 24th, you will find the missing planet. Seems to be traveling backwards from our rotation since the date is almost 3 weeks before the 2012 event. Could be up. Or down, but that direction.

"A HOLE IN THE SUN'S ATMOSPHERE: A large, canyon-shaped hole has opened in the sun's atmosphere, and it is spewing a stream of solar wind directly toward Earth. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory photographed the structure, which stretches more than halfway across the face of the sunThis is a "coronal hole" (CH)--a region where the sun's magnetic field opens up and allows solar wind to escape. NASA's STEREO spacecraft recently sampled the stream flowing from this hole and the velocity was unusually high: nearly 750 km/s. Such a fast-moving stream will likely spark Arctic auroras when it arrives on Feb. 1st.
The action could begin even before the stream arrives. NOAA forecasters say there is a 65% chance of G1-class geomagnetic storms on Jan. 31st when Earth crosses through a fold in the heliospheric current sheet--a vast undulating system of electrical currents in space shaped like the skirt of a ballerina. Earth dips in and out of it all the time. These crossings are called "solar sector boundary crossings," and they can trigger their own form of geomagnetic activity."
Did I ever tell the story of the time I was out skiing behind a jet boat, shredding up the water at 60+ mph...
I cut to the outside dropping my shoulder to the water launching a spray 50' in the air, suddenly the steel cable snapped, I was down to the water, so the cable flashed right over me, chopping off the corner post of a dock behind me. I ended for 100 yards before sinking into the water, still holding the handle dragging the cable behind...
We are still learning how the magnetics behind a Galaxy works, what if there is magnetic lines tied to each planet? What if a planet 1000 times the distance of the earth to sun, had it's line cut close to the planet as earth passed through it? Could the release snap back towards the sun tearing open a Canyon of a coronal hole? Could the slack line be drawn back towards earth piling up in front of the heliosphere as shown in the image? What if the lines drawn back to the sun create the filaments we see all the time? They tried to explain to me how our weakened magnetic shield can be strengthened. What if these lines can be drawn back into the magnetosphere like a Spider with a broken web.
I saw an image of the field wrapped in a coil around the planet and when a flare or solar storm is coming it stretches out and spreads into our shield. is there a connection between sun and earth that signals to the shield to form? I am not expecting answers, it's more of a scratchpad I can look back at on the next event.
We have watched solar winds feed cat 3 hurricanes and tornadoes turning them into 5s.
I don't remember ever seeing it affect winter storms, but this hasn't been a normal winter.

From the annual climate summary for 2016 (Bureau of Meteorology) -
Australia's fourth-warmest year on record, with the annual national mean temperature 0.87 °C above average
Ocean temperatures the warmest on record for the Australian region, with an annual mean sea surface temperature 0.73 °C above average
March and autumn as a whole were the warmest on record for Australian mean temperature
Amongst the ten warmest years on record for Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the Northern Territory
Rainfall was above average for most of Australia, but below average for areas of the northern coasts between the Gascoyne in Western Australia and Townsville in Queensland, and pockets of coastal southeast Queensland and northeastern New South Wales
Nationally-averaged rainfall was 17% above average for the year, at 544.99 mm (1961–1990 average 465.2 mm)

North-East England continues to confuse with mild spells of up to 10degC for a few days followed by cold snaps. -4degC at 7am yesterday, rising to about zero 6pm, then it gets milder as the night gets deeper and rains start. Around about 8 at its warmest today, though a wind chill belied that. This has been going of for at least 3 weeks now. Around 1980 it would not have been uncommon to stay at zero or below for a month or more with temperature up in the hills getting as low as -20. For the last few years snows have been predicted with regularity, never amounting to anything other than a flurry. I think the met office must have a contract with the tyre companies as they never seem to be right any more.
I have a shrub in the back garden that usually buds mid to late March. I was amazed to see it showing the day after New Year and the buds are still hanging on, seemingly in a stasis. You can see the white unopened flower buds still waiting, nearly a month now. Beautiful flowers but fleeting, they never last longer than a couple of weeks in the best of conditions. Be interested to see if they fall straight off this year.

The funny thing about a solar minimum (at the poles and lessing downward in effect) is the way that clouds act as both a "blanket" and a "reflector".
During a solar minimum we are less bombarded by the sun, normally the sun's out put is so strong that the solar winds "blast away" cosmic radiation. Now in a solar minimum we are getting hit by quite a bit more cosmic radiation which causes cloud formation.
the end result of more clouds is a cooler planet, but getting to that point will be a violent up/down ride as more cloud cover also causes insulation and thermal retention that is not the norm, also more dramatic weather (as water vapor (aka clouds)) retains temperature longer causing more possible cold/hot front collisions etc etc etc.
basically, buckle up for a wild ride (when looked at over a 50 year period, in reality it won't be so bad, just strange).

Is Trump Going to Be Able to Save “Weather-Controlled” California From the liberal Democrats?
California Is Teetering On the Edge of Political and Economic Collapse…
Opinion by Consumer Advocate Tim Bolen
(A rather inflammatory article, but some good points...It would be very interesting to know if Trump getting elected really had anything to do with the end of the California drought. )
http://bolenreport.com/trump-going-able-save-weather-controlled-california-liberal-democrats/
The desperation in liberal Democrat leaders’ eyes, and actions, across the nation is awe inspiring. The Democrats have lost over a thousand State and Federal elected seats, nationwide, in the last few elections. Their Press Conferences are telling.
Americans are delivering a hard message. But the liberal Democrats are NOT listening YET. Much more needs to be done.
In California it is even worse…
https://i0.wp.com/bolenreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/pelosi-e1486681424365.jpg?resize=295%2C300
Nancy Pelosi – out of power in Washington
On February 7th, 2017, Nancy Pelosi, US Congresswoman from California, was SO upset in a Press Conference she kept referring to our current President as “Bush,” not Trump.
Maxine Waters, also from California, looked like she was on the edge of a heart attack in the same group.
It is FINALLY beginning to sink in to the Globalist/Elitist mind that there is a new sheriff in town, his name is Donald Trump, and he has 350 million Deputies – the people of America.
California, as I have mentioned before, is/was trying to become a microcosm of what the United States would have been under an “Empress” Hillary regime.
But reality looms.
The Trump Populists are beginning to eye Sacramento – and they are not coming to town to talk about how many genders there are…
There’s a whole menu of things.
Did I Say Weather controlled?
Yup. We’ll start with that…
One of the OBVIOUS things the liberal Democrats have been doing in California is weather control. California, prior to the election of Donald Trump as President had the worst continuous drought in its history. This year, after the November election, the rains came in amounts like years of old.
Why are the California Dems controlling the weather in California?
The most obvious reason, of course, was the raw destruction of small farmers in the Central Valley. California provides, or DID provide, before the fake droughts, about 40% of produce consumed in the US. My guess is that major Democratic Party BIG-money campaign donors wanted to buy that land at ten cents on the dollar. During the fake drought years farmers below Sacramento have been forced to operate on only 5% of the water they needed.
Also, this is the State where the “fake climate change” adherents are based. In order to convince the population that the climate is changing for the worse they have to make it appear that the Earth, itself, is becoming hotter. Not hard to do when you can change weather patterns by spraying crap out of airplanes.
https://i0.wp.com/bolenreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/dane.png?resize=193%2C231
How exactly do you control the weather? The easy way to do that is with weather control techniques, or as Dane Wigington says – Geoengineering:
“Geoengineering is the artificial modification of Earths climate systems through two primary ideologies, Solar Radiation Management (SRM) and Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR).”
But, Did Trump Just Stop It? It’s Raining in California…
Even Water Districts in Southern California are declaring an end to this year’s drought. Could we be returning to NORMAL weather patterns? Could our forests and mountains be getting adequate snowfall?
Could the destructive Agenda 21 “fake environmentalists” be on the run? I certainly hope so.
https://i2.wp.com/bolenreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/commie.jpg?w=640The Democratic Party is On It’s Ass Nationwide…
And it should be. They’ve taken CORRUPTION to a new level. California is one of the best examples of ultra-liberal SCORN for humanity.
The 2016 presidential election campaign brought out REAL issues for Americans to look at and make voting decisions. The Democrats THOUGHT that their having control of the leftist media was going to get their sleaze-woman, Hillary Clinton, in the presidency. But the Trump people showed the world what it meant when the surveys showed that only 6% of the US population believed what they saw on TV.
Did Trump Actually Win the Popular Vote in California?
Probably – if you count JUST those who voted legally. As everyone knows, the Democrats COUNTED on winning the popular vote by rigged elections.
It is NOT hard to get votes in a ballot box when all you have to have is a few volunteers filling out “Absentee Ballots” for 20 million dead people. The Democrats have given new meaning to the term “Absentee Ballot.”
Then too, it is really handy, in California, to be able to get more votes for your Democratic Party candidate in the ballot box then are actually registered in that District. Good trick.
But Trump, that rascal, is ordering an investigation of California’s ballot system – GOOD. My guess is that it will take a few years, and there will be a lot of screaming, but the 75% super-majority in the California legislature will get whitteled down proportionately once ONLY real, alive, US citizen voters are counted.
California is going to go through some rocky years while the Populists wrench back control for the people…
As we all watched in Berkeley recently, the Democrats brought in 150 ski-masked thugs wielding pepper spray, bear spray, steel rods, to smash Trump supporters who paid to see, and hear Republican Gay, Catholic, White activist Milo Yiannopoulos on campus. The Mayor of Berkeley had the the police stand by and watch the Republican Gay community beaten. They had to cancel the event.
But, hey, Democrats are Democrats, right? – what else would you expect?
However, Milo is planning on returning. Is Trump, to protect Free Speech, going to have to nationalize the California National Guard, and have them surround Berkeley City Hall? So be it.
The NEXT TIME, I think, it would be a good idea to let the Democrats bring in their violent thugs, let them destroy stuff for an hour or two, while filming them, quietly close the trap, load all of them onto prison-type busses, get them in front of a Judge quickly, arraign them, and ship them down to the border (those that are US citizens), chain their ankles together, and let them do weed clean-up around the new “Wall,” while they await trial.
Instead of bear spray, or pepper spray, they could get used to bug spray.
I Think It Obvious That America Has Suffered Enough From “Entitled” Liberal Democrats…
California, I think, is going to be the “fake environmentalist’s” last stand. We need the craziness to stop.
The first thing we need to do is ask Trump to start cutting ALL Federal funding to California. Every agency in California should have to justify what they want the money for. And they SHOULD NOT get the money for any year until they explain EVERYTHING to public satisfaction.
We DO NOT WANT to be sprayed with chemicals any more…
And we want the real California back right now.
Stay tuned…

As a Voice of we the people I say screw the high speed rail, Trump doesn't have a clue. I want you to create a world Nuclear response team for instant reaction to nuclear plant problems. Build a damn robot that can handle radiation that will roll into the plant and start blasting the nuclear rods with brown gas that will melt through the rods like they are butter.
Fix your mess, and make it a response that can be anywhere in the world within hours.
How many US Navy died from being the first responders because politicians didn't care?
Robot skin is a conduit to collect energy needed to turn water into brown gas, I want one built for every nuclear plant and storage in the world. Someone dumped a few thousand metal containers filled with radioactive material off the shore of San Fransisco, I know it's not the only, so make underwater drones to clean them up.
As for the cost, if Japan can't afford to do what's right, contact King Salman of Saudi Arabia, they will do anything the one who brought Muslims the most important message from God since Mohammad asks. Christians need to look into themselves, God put a message to Muslims in the Bible for a reason. We are all his Children... when you hear the message save the children, who do you think it means? We all have so much alike, we're human...
Prophet John was given a message in Revelation to the Church of Saudis, which the world knows now, are the birthplace of Muslims written hundreds of years before Mohammad was born. There was no Saudis at the time, so he wrote Sardis.
Go back to what you believed in the beginning, the 10 commandments are God's law, and over ride anything that follows, "Do not Kill" has no other meanings if you want to be saved.
38,000 died in Iran 3 days to the second from that message.
I want to see changes in the next week.
Any politician that says our country wants to handle this ourselves I will personally shoot in the head. Experts have access to anywhere without question.
For those who don't understand, California storms won't stop until Japan fixes their Radiation leak from Fu ckushima is fixed, they are talking 2050...
If they can't fix it, I want them paying storm damage to California

But her cause has nothing to do with being a liberal.
As a marker, Jesus stood as far left as possible, against the elite warmongering bankers that felt all money was theirs. The right is the conservative no changes party that knows the system is rigged in their favor.
I myself see Trump closer to the left than the right, he believes changes are necessary to keep our nation from collapsing. He is launching rockets into space to know the earth is safe. He talks tough, but wants to be friends with our biggest enemy. Very un-warmongering for a right winger.

Woods Hole Oceanographic who has been following the Seas for many many years have made it clear in their studies, when FRESH WATER from the upper North Atlantic, either discharges from rivers, or Ice Shelf calving (Icebergs in other words), the change in salinity changes the layers, and the Gulf Stream (and other circulating currents change). When they change weather changes.
. "Strong overturning circulation leads to warm conditions in the North Atlantic region, and weak overturning circulation leads to cold conditions," he said.
"We've known for some time from changes in the chemistry of the seawater itself that something was different about the ocean's circulation at times of rapid climate changes, and it now appears that the difference was related to changes in the rate of ocean circulation.
and
http://www.whoi.edu/cms/images/mediarelations/2004/7/abrupt_conveyorbelt_x_1035.gif
A new study, reported April 22 in the journal Nature, suggests that when the rate of the Atlantic Ocean's north-south overturning circulation slowed dramatically following an iceberg outburst during the last deglaciation, the climate in the North Atlantic region became colder. When the rate of the ocean's overturning circulation subsequently accelerated, the climate warmed abruptly.
Study author Jerry McManus and colleagues Roger Francois, Jeanne Gherardi, Lloyd Keigwin and Susan Brown-Leger at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and in France report that the coldest interval of the last 20,000 years occurred when the overturning circulation collapsed following the discharge of icebergs into the North Atlantic 17,500 years ago.
This regional climatic extreme began suddenly and lasted for two thousand years. Another cold snap 12,700 years ago lasting more than a thousand years and accompanied another slowdown of overturning circulation. Each of these two cold intervals was followed by a rapid acceleration of the overturning circulation and dramatically warmer climates over Northern Europe and the North Atlantic region.
Whatever then causes the ICE SHELF melting, and fresh water deposition into the circulating ocean currents then is responsible for climate change, not humans, not oil..
Possibly increases in volcanic activity, immense increases in ocean bottom temperatures from magmatic pockets forming, solar changes in output are logical.
Understanding the conveyor belt dynamics takes a lot of monitoring in various world wide locations. Go to the Woods Hole Oceanographic website, and read it, and the many articles to get up to speed about what many thousands of researchers have found and published, from long ago to recent.. It is worthwhile if one is interested in weather and climate and the Seas.

Boy is this Weather Year going to be fun in here!
Antarctica has already claimed record low extent whilst the Arctic volume sits well below the nearest record low year for the date so that's both our refrigeration units on the fritz with the promise of a Nino to come later on!
The brightening of the Pacific seems to be continuing as China tries its best to clean up urban atmospheres and save the lives of their citizens so PDO and IPO remain positive. The QBO we broke last year is having another attempt at turning easterly, any repeated failure this time will really show us how messed up we have made the weather controllers in the Stratosphere ( errant Polar vortex most of the season and a QBO sending the MJO bonkers!)
The paid deniers are running out of 'squirrels' to point folk at with Antarctica taking itself off the table and La Nina not levelling out temps after the last Nino. global temps are again on the up and up and with the current swathe of record warm temps around the globe it shows no signs of wanting anything other than another record Year by December!
Of course if Nino does look like forming the paid deniers will be blaming everything on the Nino but we know different don't we? With the dimming now dissipating over the Pacific we are seeing new energy flooding into the system there ( not good when IPO is positive as this keeps the warmth at the surface and so accessible to the atmosphere above !) and the Arctic just about to see another record low year ( and all the added energy it can now milk instead of reflecting 90%+ of it back into space!) so we have two major new energy inputs into the climate system before we even consider the extra time that warmth is held on planet for by growing GHG interception!!!
With Trump turning everyone onto the climate change issue I could not think of a more timely year for us to go blue Ocean across the Pole? How will folk react to witnessing such?
It could mean in excess of 3 El Nino's worth of energy waiting in the basin to be released into the climate system over Autumn/winter and if we already have an El Nino in the regions just what do folk imagine that will drive from our weathers around the globe? California is already seeing typical El Nino rains this winter even with Nina in force so what the heck will 4 Nino's worth of heat and moisture do?
The Day after Tomorrow was well slated by climate science for showing changes that were impossible. Well wait and see what AGW running full bore can drive!

More than 300 climate scientists have urged President Trump to withdraw from the U.N.’s climate change agency, warning that its climate change policies cause serious economic harm and exacerbate poverty — without providing the claimed environmental benefits.
In a letter to President Trump, delivered Thursday, MIT professor emeritus Richard Lindzen calls on the United States and other nations to “change course on an outdated international agreement that targets minor greenhouse gases,” starting with carbon dioxide.
“Since 2009, the US and other governments have undertaken actions with respect to global climate that are not scientifically justified and that already have, and will continue to cause serious social and economic harm — with no environmental benefits,” said Mr. Lindzen, a prominent atmospheric physicist.
“Restricting access to fossil fuels has very negative effects upon the wellbeing of people around the world,” he says in his letter. “It condemns over 4 billion people in still underdeveloped countries to continued poverty.”

The average is still 70 so our climate hasn't changed

HAARP - Reactivated (https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/human-activity-will-heat-alaskan-skies-deliberately-and-picturesquely/)
This week powerful radio waves will disturb the ionosphere to probe satellite disruptions and create strange glows
By Mark Harris on February 22, 2017
https://www.scientificamerican.com/sciam/cache/file/B2F4C127-11E1-45D9-9A75D388E27662F8.jpg
During four nights this week the poles—actually interconnected radio antennae—will spring to life after three years of dormancy, and heat the highest wisps of our atmosphere directly above.
The antennas belong to the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), a former U.S. military facility near the hamlet of Gakona. The array will beam 2.1 megawatts of radio energy into the ionosphere—the region that starts at 100 kilometers above the ground, where solar photons and charged particles crash into Earth’s atmosphere. There the radio signals will excite electrons and turn them into waves of relatively hot ionized gas, or plasma, in a narrow slice of sky. The hope is to better understand activity that hampers satellites as well as some elusive features of radio wave physics.
...
Now after years of repairs, upgrades and fund-raising, HAARP is about to embark on its first scientific campaign under civilian control. Much of the work is a continuation of studies that began under the military. Plasma scientists, for example, will hunt for an elusive phenomenon called two-plasma decay instability.
...
The facility is also going to be generating artificial aurorae. At full power, HAARP’s transmitter can produce a glowing plasma high in the sky that, although not as bright as the natural aurora borealis, is visible to the naked eye. Producing artificial aurorae has taught scientists unexpected lessons about how gases are ionized in the ionosphere, a process that helps protect Earth from harmful ultraviolet solar radiation. “Understanding how energy from the sun flows into the upper atmosphere is important for understanding the effect on Earth from extreme solar events,” Bristow says.
The success of these initial experiments will be critical in demonstrating the long-term viability of HAARP to the agencies funding the efforts along with the navy: the National Science Foundation and U.S. Department of Energy. “This beauty of HAARP is that it’s a way to turn the ionosphere into a plasma lab where we can control the knobs and timing,” says Mark Moldwin, a professor of space sciences at the University of Michigan who is not involved with the current research. “It has essentially come back from the dead and the community is hopeful that its continued operation will enable education and research opportunities.”

More than 240 killed by floods in Zimbabwe (https://watchers.news/2017/03/03/zimbabwe-floods-2017/)

https://watchers.news/data/thumbs/798_296/2017/03/floods-leave-more-than-240-dead-zimbabwe-2017.jpg
The government of Zimbabwe said that 246 people have died, 128 were injured and approximately 1 985 made homeless after above-normal rains flooded the country. Regions now affected by floods have recently suffered from severe drought which left more than 4 million in need of food aid.
President Robert Mugabe declared floods to be a national disaster this week and appealed to international donors for $100 million to help those affected by floods, which caused loss of human lives, destroyed homes and public infrastructure such as roads, bridges, dams, schools and hospitals, killed livestock and destroyed crops.
Recent floods caused by Tropical Cyclone "Dineo" have left a trail of destruction in most parts of Matabeleland South and North provinces, particularly in Tsholotsho, Bulilima, Mangwe, Nkayi and parts of Matobo districts.
In Tsholotsho District in Matabeleland North, where the Gwayi River and its tributaries burst their banks, there are still 859 people displaced.
"Across the country as a whole, over 2 500 homes have been damaged since October and some communities are still cut off by the floods. Roads, schools and health facilities have also suffered damage," said Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National House, Hon Saviour Kasukuwere.
74 shools were damaged and 70 dams had burst, Kasukuwere said.

Let's get one little thing straight so questions on global warming reality is never questioned again...
In ancient times the boat's engine room brought water in for cooling the engine. They would drop a thermometer into the tank to measure ocean temperature.
The pause in ocean warming everyone speaks of is when the ancient temperature measuring system switched to buoy that sends readings real time via satellite to NOAA. the difference in the measurements was almost 2 degrees, so to have accuracy going back to when they started recording temps. The temps were adjusted.
Here is a classic Moron from Fox News spreading his wisdom to their only viewer Donald Trump.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPStj82-iV4
No more... Global warming of ocean temps is critical to human survival on this planet...
The thought that Republican Congress are so stupid they can't even spell science much less understand it is beyond imagination. Having respected news orgs anywhere take a stand against reality for political reasons is inexcusable.
The warmer our oceans get, the larger the storms will become, the warmer water is absorbed faster into the atmosphere...
45' of snow in California Mountains, that's crazy! what if every degree adds 20 more feet?

The Paid Deniers are always demanding that science either stays still in its understandings or fall back to a previous understanding they find more palatable. When any new IPCC report come out they will fall back to the report they have just spent 5 years attacking as if they now take its findings as gospel!!!
The old bucket and rope 'sampling of ocean temps that was used , prior to Buoy reading providing the bulk, would vary due to the material of the 'bucket' and length of time prior to the temp being taken. Bucket ranged from metal to wood to canvas all of which allow differing rates of 'warming' to the sample. Three measures taken by each bucket type will bring differing temp results. Over the second year war 'engine intake' measures became common ( who'd be dangling buckets over the side during a heavy action?) but , as noted above, the engines warmed the intake leading to a 'spike' in temps over that period and a fall back in temps once bucket sampling resumed.
For those still unable to see if AGW is a thing then this year will show you just how bad things already are and if we see a blue ocean over the Arctic whilst seeing another nino forms up we may even get a preview of how bad years to come will be!

Severe weather, including snowfalls and hurricane-force winds, has been affecting the central-southern and south-eastern areas of the France over the past 48 hours, causing at least two fatalities. Severe weather is forecast to continue affecting the country over the next 24 hours. The storm, named Zeus, will then exit into the Mediterranean Sea and rapidly deepen as it moves toward Italy. Severe to extremely severe wind gusts are expected this evening and tonight.
This powerful windstorm was produced by rapidly deepening cyclone coming from the British Isles toward Northern France this morning. An intense sting jet has developed within the cyclone, Severe Weather Europe reports, traveling right across Brittany, NW France.
Meteo France has updated the number of departments on Orange alert to 31 this morning and urged residents to be vigilant, stay off the rooftops and secure objects that are liable to be blown away.
The departments on Orange alert, as of Monday morning, March 6, are: Cantal, Corse-du-Sud, Haute-Corse, Loire, Haute-Loire, Lozère, Puy-de-Dôme, Rhône, Allier, Charente, Charente-Maritime, Cher, Corrèze, Côtes-d'Armor, Creuse, Finistère, Ille-et-Vilaine, Indre, Indre-et-Loire, Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire, Mayenne, Morbihan, Deux-Sèvres, Vendée, Vienne, Haute-Vienne, Alpes-Maritimes, Dordogne, Gironde, and Var.
The agency said that significant damage could be caused by the wind as well as disruptions to local traffic. There is also a possibility of cuts to electricity and telephone lines, it warned.

Good post Herve, and reading a little between the lines here is kind of: the global warming histeria is more bull**** than fact, as I asume. The real studies show that it has been many global warmings before as well as glaciations without us driving suv's and burning coal. Maybe the dinosaurs eat too many cabbage and fart way more than normal and Voila! greenhouse gasses.....
I am not posting this to debate anything.
Heaven knows I stay away from MSM.
The point I am making is that in 55+ years of "existence", I notice that winters, on average, are much warmer where I live here in SW Ontario, Canada.
Also, although I have not witnessed it personally, the "North-West Passage" around the Arctic Circle is warming to the point that ships can routinely sail through it now.
The Arctic Ice is melting and in turn, changing the activity patterns of such species as polar bears.
The Al Gores of the world may indeed be trying to fleece the public but for reasons I cannot explain, the climate has changed considerably where I live.
Thanks for listening, carry on please...

Let's keep it simple here:
There is something happening to local weather which in turn is an indication of something happening with earth's climate.
The thing is this: robber barons (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robber_baron) - following JP Morgan's obsession of putting meters onto everything - couldn't tax gods nor volcanoes, comets and asteroids for spewing ashes or sowing orbiting dust all around.
So, AL Gore and followers, applying Rahm Emanuel's formula to a T:
You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And, what I mean by that, it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.
- Rahm EmanuelDecided to find a way to pin it onto humans/us and their/our activities to squeeze a few more $$ out of them/us and prevent any competition to develop in "Third World" countries (Rockefeller's moto).
Since then, that gigantic lie has been hammered on us, daily, in an attempt to convince everyone that square pegs do actually fit in round holes.

this guy thinks that variations in the earths orbit around the sun are the main driver for the re-occuring ice ages/inter glacial periods that clearly happen every 100.000 years .
he gives very little credit to what the sun is doing and concludes that man made CO2 emmissions are responible for us not falling into the next ice age which is overdue...

Today, the sun was so hot it hurt, massive chemtrails to reflect it out...
The ocean is absorbing excess heat, already killing off 1/3 of all sea life.
Why?
All that makes sense is Trump knows we are screwed, so he says leave the toxic waste where it is, pollute all you want, everyone is moving into tunnels soon anyways, the earth will clean itself... he just wants the economy to float until D-day, no sense remaking it if game is over anyways...
If all the glaciers melt, sea levels rise 200 feet.
Trump built his empire of skyscrapers on the ocean...
Think of his sacrifice...
Climate change denial was created as an experiment to see if programming could counter common sense, worked so well now they are spinning flat earth wisdom to see how many morons will fall for it.
Climate and weather are 2 different things, what worries everyone with a brain is the sudden spike in CO2. Almost straight vertical shattering earth levels we have been at for the last million plus years.
I'm sorry if this message came out hurtful, but you have to understand the millions our chemtrailers have spent telling everyone to ignore global warming. I'm upset with them over this, not any of you.
We don't know if Nibiru is real and how it will affect our planet or what is causing the extreme climate changes we are seeing.
Here it is as straight as it gets debunking the debunker...

Greedy bankers just want to get richer, and they are using alt media for their pawns of destruction...
Now think if all of us weren't arguing whether reality is real, we should be searching for solutions.
China has money to invest in America, so why not find good ideas for tough solutions?
If we have to drop CO2 to survive, let's do it and create 10s of thousands blue collar jobs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iqBUSvnsAg
as the Arctic melts let's find ways to capture or harden methane pockets before they release.
I seriously believe Trump knows climate change is real, but thinking China can pay for us to come up with the solution and they will move it to China to start cleaning at the source goes against his promise to his voters.
If he doesn't allow these jobs to backed by US government, we will just consider it 100s of thousands more jobs our President shipped off to China because of oil companies.
Don't deny global warming because you hate the left...
Right and left is for divisions... means nothing to the 99% of us in the center.

I have a concern that 'They' know far more the we do on the changes , ongoing, and their predicted impacts? We are seeing presentations, from the 60's onward, funded by the fossil fuel industry that focus on the environmental impacts of their activities. We are only just being allowed access to what they knew 50 years ago. Over that time the decision was made to increase usage of fossil fuels. I do not believe that all employees are stetson wearing J R Ewings so what gives?
From our standpoint we are seeing many of the earlier predictions of the speed of change falling well short of reality ( we were force fed the 'conservative' outcomes and never looked to the other side of the bell curve where the more extreme events are clustered?) because of the constant barrage of 'Denier' rhetoric if they do look at the more problematic outcomes of warming.
So why , if the industry knows that things will get so bad did they continue on at B.A.U. levels and worse?
Early on ( late 60's /early 70's) the folk employed by the tobacco industry were being recruited by the fossil fuel industry to do a similar job for them . They brought with them the knowledge that to save the organisations from bankruptcy from legal claims of damages they must let any claims die with the claimant ( as they did with smokers sueing the tobacco industry for damages?) .
So are we waiting for a scale of climate disruption that will see any cases against such industries die with the collapse? Are they milking every last dollar ready to then hunker down through the tribulations only to then crawl out of their holes unscathed and capital intact?
If the fossil fuel industry is aware then you can bet there is a larger Cabal of folk 'in the know' who are waiting to 'save themselves' when they see the types of climate catastrophe they expect over the rapid climate shift our continued warming will bring esp. once the arctic ocean sees over 50% of its surface open to warming from June onward?
Most Deniers are basic malcontents and they will always find a niche to whine about. Come the changes it will be the failure of humanity to be ready to deal with such never recognising their parts in stymieing any such action ( and they worked free for the super rich 'cause they're so nice a human being!)
The loss of the organised Stratosphere is near complete so let the games commence!

Debbie downgraded to tropical low as Queenslanders face monster clean up
The army has been called in to clean up Queensland's disaster zone after Cyclone Debbie smashed into the Whitsunday region, unleashing howling winds of 260 km/h.
At 3am on Wednesday morning the Bureau of Meteorology downgraded Debbie out of the cyclone category to a tropical low, bringing sustained winds of 55km/h with gusts of up to 85km/h. Heavy rains are still expected as it moves southwest, with a severe weather warning in place.
The storm downed trees, stripped buildings and left shorelines swamped after making landfall as a category four storm at midday near Airlie Beach and is expected to continue wreaking havoc for the rest of the week.
It was downgraded to a category three cyclone just after 3pm but strong winds continued to lash Airlie Beach, Proserpine and Bowen later in the afternoon.
'Shock and awe'
On Tuesday night Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk predicted "shock and awe" in the state when the full extent of the devastation wrought by the cyclone is revealed.
The premier, who on Monday warned it would be a "monster", said the state would be dealing with the impact of the "scary" cyclone for the next three to five days as it moved down the coast.
"I think there is going to be a lot of shock and awe in the morning," she told Ten News on Tuesday.
She said rapid assessment teams would be sent to observe the damage at first light on Wednesday, later revealing even she was "bracing" for Debbie's full impact being unveiled.

Monster El Niño Forming – Will be more devastating than the last one (https://www.iceagenow.info/monster-el-nino-forming-will-devastating-last-one/)
By Robert (https://www.iceagenow.info/author/xilef/) March 29, 2017 (https://www.iceagenow.info/monster-el-nino-forming-will-devastating-last-one/)
“The phenomenon should be called Niño Volcánico (Volcanic Child) because it is generated by eruptions of thousands of submarine volcanoes.”
– Jorge Manrique Prieto
Submarine volcanoes show more activity due to a drop of activity on the Sun?
_________________________________________
Monster El Niño Forming – Will be more devastating than the last one (https://puntodevistaypropuesta.wordpress.com/2017/03/24/peru-se-viene-otro-nino-mas-devastador/)
VÍCTOR ALVARADO Lima, 24 March 2017
Gigantic masses of hot water are forming in the South Pacific, warns Peruvian scientist Jorge Manrique Prieto. A new El Niño, in other words.
Prieto, an expert in satellite remote sensing, explains that literally thousands of square miles of hot water will hit Peruvian coasts in August.
When he uses the word “hot,” Prieto is talking about 88 degrees Fahrenheit (31C) hot. He thinks this El Niño will therefore be more devastating than the last one because that one contained water “only” 81F (27C) hot.
These masses of hot water will lead to evaporation up to four times normal and cause heavy precipitation, says Prieto. On the Pacific Coast it will create greater problems than those caused by the 81F water known as Niño Costero, he said.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) confirms Prieto’s observations (http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/analysis_monitoring/lanina/enso_evolution-status-fcsts-web.pdf) (at least partially). “During January and February 2017, above-average SSTs (sea-surface temperatures) expanded within the eastern Pacific Ocean,” says NOAA. “(There are) increasing chances for El Niño development into the fall.”
https://www.iceagenow.info/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/El-Nino-forming-25Jan2017.jpg
This map shows temperatures as high as 31C When you look at the NOAA map, you can clearly see the gigantic intensely red spots – the hot water masses – sliding towards Peru.
The hot water masses measure more than 1,000 miles long (1600 km) and 450 meters deep. The first mass should hit the Peruvian coast in April and last until July. The second mass, a super monster, should arrive in August and last until October.
Where does the hot water originate?
These masses of hot water are of volcanic origin, say Prieto. They originate south of the equatorial line in the depths of the Bismark Sea, the Solomon Sea and the Coral Sea, which contain more than 5,000 mini submarine volcanoes.
https://www.iceagenow.info/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Previous-El-Nino-showing-27C.jpg
Previous El Nino showing 27C When these underwater volcanoes erupt they heat the water to abnormal levels, triggering evaporation up to four times more than normal.
Volcanic El Niño (Volcanic Child)
For this reason, El Niño Costero (the Coastal Child) should rather be called Volcanic El Niño (Volcanic Child) because it is generated by the eruptions of thousands of submarine volcanoes, says Prieto.
What triggers the underwater volcanic activity?
The volcanic activity is regulated by the stars, specifically by the position or alignment of the planets, says Prieto. That alignment produces strong magnetic pressure on the igneous core, or magma, of the Earth, which stimulates submarine volcanic activity along the Ring of Fire.
Another factor is the sun, because solar storms strongly affect the earth’s magnetósphere, says Prieto. As with planetary alignments, the solar storms produce magnetic pressure on the igneous core of the Earth and stimulate submarine volcanic activity.
This confirms what I’ve been saying for the past 20 years – that El Niños are triggered by underwater volcanic activity. (See Not by Fire but by Ice, Chapter 10, “Fish Stew”)

Manrique Prieto was the first scientist to alert on January 27, at 5.59 pm of this year, through an email addressed to the authorities and media about the formation of the hot water mass. So far, no one in authority appears to have listened.
Peruvian authorities have to know it and you have to ask them why they hide it, says Prieto. And if they do not know, it would mean that they suffer from incompetence.

The climate change debate isn’t something I’ve followed, I figured the weather itself would tell us soon enough.
The summer of 2015/2016 was a record breaker here and I anticipate next year’s report will show the summer of 2016/2017 was hotter still.
Growing up, Cyclone Tracy was the weather event we were always told about, we were told back then that events like Tracy were something that happened only roughly every thirty years. When I moved to Queensland I was often told about the floods of ’74, also a thirty year event.
The image below illustrates how the cyclones have become more frequent and intense in the past ten years, Tracy pales in comparison to all of them with only one exception.
http://www.smh.com.au/cqstatic/12z7v7/debbieCompares729px.png
Focussing on Queensland alone, by year, the stats are as follows -
2006 - Larry - 240 km/hr
2011 - Yasi - 285 km/hr
2015 - Marcia - 208 km/hr
2017 - Debbie - 263 km/hr
These events cause massive damage to the environment and property (so many homes lost), as they are followed by floods (and you’re lucky if you can get your insurance company to pay), temporary food and water shortages, longer term higher priced fresh produce, loss of life. With little time to recover between events it gets distressing and that's just one state in one country, who is strong economically.

Monster El Niño Forming – Will be more devastating than the last one (https://www.iceagenow.info/monster-el-nino-forming-will-devastating-last-one/)
The rain here in Ecuador has been unending, the heaviest and most persistent on record. (And it's worse in Peru, a few hundred miles south)
Of possible interest to the geophysicists among us (Hervé! :waving: ) is that apparently it's not an El Niño. It seems to be something a little different.
From an Ecuador expat newsletter this morning:

More rain is forecast but experts say unusual coastal water anomaly that fuels it is subsiding
Ecuador’s National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMHI) isn’t having much luck explaining the weather. “This is not an El Niño,” says José Olmedo, director of INAMHI. “The reason for the exceptional rainfall is a rare phenomenon of very high ocean temperatures near the coastline of Ecuador and Peru. The news media continues to call it an El Niño, which is something very different.”

Whatever it’s called, INAMHI is predicting above-average rainfall to continue for three to four weeks in Ecuador. The coastal area will receive the heaviest rains, it says, but the sierra region will also be affected.
Olmedo explains that El Niño is a widespread event in which water temperatures increase over thousands of square kilometers of the equatorial Pacific Ocean. “What we are experiencing is a much rarer event where the water temperatures rise within a few kilometers of the shore, providing the moisture and energy for strong localized storms within an area of several hundred miles. An El Niño can affect weather worldwide.”
The phenomenon has a name, Olmedo says. “It’s called El Niño Costero (coastal child) and we have only experienced it two other times within the past 50 years,” he says. “This is the strongest of the three.” At one point in mid-March, offshore water temperatures rose to five degrees celsius above normal.
There is good news, according to INAMHI. Water temperatures on the coast are falling, which should reduce the severity of the storms in coming weeks. “We anticipate a return to normal water temperatures by late April or May,” a INAMHI statement said. “This will coincide with the end of the rainy season.”
Rainfall in Cuenca has been about 40% above normal since January, INAMHI reports. Some areas of Ecuador, particularly on the coast, have received 200% to 300% normal rainfall. Peru has experienced the worst of El Niño Costero, where flooding has made thousands homeless and killed 125.

Same down our end of the woods, Bill. Record-breaking rainfalls bringing devastating flooding to Auckland and much of the country; same in much of Australia (and recently in Dallas, USA). As I type this, we're just going out of daylight saving and officially entering winter. (We're all wondering what happened to summer?). More crappy stuff on the way!

Isn't anyone going to pup up here and claims this is proof of HAARP controlling the weather?

It doesn't look like anyone was going to, no, but perhaps we will never know now. :)
I really appreciate your grounded perspectives Nick, several times I've personally benifited from considering your input, but these comments (several in various threads now) are begining to come across as a little snide to me.
It seems to have crossed a line from being helpful to a more antagonistic approach. I think we all get frustrated some times, I know I do. That's when I head for the local lake and do a couple of circuits to clear my mind. :)
