Globalist vs Nationalist

Are these two opposing POVs behind the next US election?... It seems Obama and Hillary promote globalization vs the alternative national sovereignty. So if that is the case it would seem that globalization helps lead directly to a one world type government. Shouldn't we all avoid this type of control the powers that be wish to have? If that is the case voting to insure we slow down efforts at globalization?

Small things matter. Individuals matter. Uniqueness matters. Creativity matters. Novelty matters. Such things matter on a scale that is lost in Globalism and it's gross AI Singularity/Borg mentality.
