Hello all,

Has anyone any information re the joining of toes?
In my family, our second and third toes are joined on a stalk.
I know others do not have this pattern.
Thoughts/ views would be welcome.

That's what my feet look like too (not only are they "on a stalk" but squished together so tightly they have "deformed" each other & I don't really have independant muscle control between the two, though I've never really worked at it); I figure it's a ANglo saxon / european thing... though I'm also VERY hairy and have a large brow (hints of neanderthal?)

From what I can tell my heritage is mostly nordic/german/irish mix.

My husbands family has extra fingers. Lol

Almost all of his cousins had to have an extra pinkie and/or pinkie toe removed at birth or at a very young age. Seems the girls had extra toes and digits though.....Actually the last little girl his cousin gave birth to they waited until she was almost 6 to remove them.

And this is all on his Russian mothers side.

Bah ! All I gots are potaTOES , come harvest time , me needs to keep covered , cuz mine are squished together as well as real thick and juicy ...Ukraine / Chezck

But really , in my family is a boy named Tesla , a male feline , a polydactyl , 6 fingers , 6 toes , and a stubbed tail....

They said , due to his differences , he would be clumsy and non agile .....

Eff that , I've had dozens of animals in my life , and Tesla is the complete opposite , climbs and catches prey like a frickin' champ , like no
other , plus he's so charismatic and just gives so much love...... nothing beats the so called freaks
