The fourth state of matter, plasma: A technology to improve bone healing? (http://phys.org/news/2016-08-fourth-state-plasma-technology-bone.html)

Cold plasma looks like the glow from the "Star Wars" blue light saber but this beam of energy, made of electrons that change polarity at micro-second or nanosecond speeds, could help bones heal faster, according to a study published August 11th in the Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine.

Most people interact with plasma every day. It's in our TVs, fluorescent lights, lightning, the aurora borealis, and the sun. However, these are all examples of hot or "thermal" plasmas. Since the discovery of cold plasma, about 20 years ago, it has been used in agriculture to sterilize the surface of fruit without damaging the delicate edibles. More recently, scientists have been performing experiments treating living animal cells and tissues with cold plasma to learn more about its potential applications in medicine.

"We've previously studied how different applications of cold plasma can either directly kill cells, such as in skin cancer, or help them grow, as in developing bones. In this study, we asked how cold plasma would affect the area surrounding cells, known as the extracellular matrix," says lead author Theresa Freeman, Ph.D., Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. The extracellular matrix around cells is made of collagen and other proteins that interact with the cells and can influence their growth and behavior. For example, the extracellular matrix can either promote or inhibit bone formation or cancer cell growth and metastasis.

"We showed that matrix treated with cold plasma generated using microsecond pulsing can promote differentiation of cells into cartilage and increase bone formation," says Dr. Freeman. "Conversely, we showed matrix treated with nanosecond-pulsed cold plasma inhibited cell differentiation and bone formation."

The study demonstrates that cold plasma may be "tuned" to either promote or inhibit cell/matrix interactions by chemically altering the matrix.

The researchers started their experiments by exposing a commercially available extracellular matrix, (Matrigel) to either nanosecond or microsecond pulsed cold plasma at different frequencies. When microsecond cold plasma-treated Matrigel was inserted into a mouse, cells entered the gel and began the process of bone formation. However, far fewer cells entered the nanosecond plasma-treated Matrigel, and bone formation was stunted. Using an in vitro assay, Dr. Freeman and colleagues showed that cells grown on microsecond plasma-treated collagen had higher levels of focal adhesion kinase activation, indicating better cell/matrix attachments which helps initiate bone formation. There were also higher levels of anti-apoptotic proteins, suggesting better cell viability than in nanosecond-cold plasma treated collagen.

"As research into medical applications of cold plasma expands, it will be important to study various plasma types and conditions in tissue models, rather than isolated cells," says Dr. Freeman, "Because cold plasma affects each cell type and matrix protein to produce variable physiological effects," says Dr. Freeman, "it's important to study not just how each cell behaves when exposed, but how they react together within the tissue and organismal environment."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One reason you are not seeing any info on the mechanism (neither mentioned nor speculated) is that black ops and the medical INDUSTRY (corporate interests) will go after this with a hammer and explosives, just like they went after Reich and Rife.
Additionally, this points directly at the truth behind claims that cell phone radiation and EMI/RFI radiation is dangerous to humans. Harmful to humans. That the truth is: no cell phone health radiation research was done until after the fact. Same for wi-fi, and so on.
All post research, post justification.
The human body, and organics in general are VERY sensitive to high frequency fields of any given type - constant exposure... ~damages the ability for self correction~.
The cell phone and RF industry is worth at least $4 trillion US. They won't let people's health or future get in the way of that gravy train, and all of the medical and black ops arenas will also chime in and try to kill all work, research, or thought in these areas.
A natural doctor in town has a friend who owns, covets, and robustly protects and hides one of Rife's original machines. The FDA did not destroy them all.
There are many pseudo Rife devices out there, perhaps even some machines that are effective. It's difficult to determine which of them are useful for the stated purpose. Just like convention, alternative science has it's hucksters.
Carmody, are you aware of any technologies on the radar that might one day supplant WiFi and commonly used devices that emit EMFs?
John bedini had Rifes original No #3 microscope he got it from John Crane who was close to Rife
The link below will take you to Bedinis page where he tells his very interesting story about his work with John Crane and others concerning Rife Tech;and how he got it to work, includes all frequencies and scope shots and video of it working, definetly worth looking at
Closest I know of is:
Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) is a bidirectional, high-speed and fully networked wireless communication technology similar to Wi-Fi. The term was coined by Harald Haas[1] and is a form of visible light communication and a subset of optical wireless communications (OWC) and could be a complement to RF communication (Wi-Fi or cellular networks), or even a replacement in contexts of data broadcasting.
It is wireless and uses visible-light communication or infrared and near-ultraviolet instead of radio-frequency spectrum, part of optical wireless communications technology, which carries much more information, and has been proposed as a solution to the RF-bandwidth limitations.[2]
I wouldn't want anyone to locate/destroy/take that machine, perhaps removing the reference to the quoted text will preserve the security of the device? I'd add the member's name but that again would open him/her to those who are up to no good.
However, even light in excess is harmful (apparently)... everything in moderation, even light ;)
So keep that in mind:
Excess Light Exposure May Take Toll on Muscles and Bones
Every day people are exposed to hours of artificial light from a variety of sources – computers, video games, office lights and, for some, 24-hour lighting in hospitals and nursing homes.
Now new research in animals shows that excessive exposure to “light pollution” may be worse for health than previously known, taking a toll on muscle and bone strength.
Researchers at Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands tracked the health of rats exposed to six months of continuous light compared to a control group of rats living under normal light-dark conditions — 12 hours of light, followed by 12 hours of dark.
During the study, the rats exposed to continuous light had less muscle strength and developed signs of early-stage osteoporosis. They also got fatter and had higher blood glucose levels. Several markers of immune system health also worsened, according to the report published in the medical journal Current Biology.
While earlier research has suggested excessive light exposure could affect cognition, the new research was surprising in that it showed a pronounced effect on muscles and bones. While it’s not clear why constant light exposure took a toll on the motor functions of the animals, it is known that light and dark cues influence a body’s circadian rhythms, which regulate many of the body’s physiological processes.
“The study is the first of its kind to show markers of negatively-affected muscle fibers, skeletal systems and motor performances due to the disruption of circadian clocks, remarkably in only a few months,” said Chris Colwell, a psychiatry professor and sleep specialist at the University of California, Los Angeles, who was not part of the study. “They found that not only did motor performance go down on tests, but the muscles themselves just atrophied, and mice physically became weaker under just two months under these conditions.”
The good news is the effects of artificial light exposure appear to be reversible. When the study rats returned to their natural light-dark cycle, their health issues returned to normal after two weeks.
While the findings of a rat study can’t be translated directly to human health, the data suggest more research is needed into the health effects of artificial light. One concern is the health of patients in hospital intensive care units, elderly people in nursing homes and babies in neonatal units — places where artificial lights often are kept on for 24 hours a day.
“We keep the sickest people in our society under constant light conditions,” said Dr. Colwell.
The research also may have implications for people exposed to hours of light emitted from video games and computers. Studies have shown the blue wavelength light from screens is more disruptive to the body’s circadian system than the red wavelength light that comes from traditional artificial lights.
so... if you want data, i guess you have to pick your poison. (well, in the future; LiFi is just a concept for now).
the secret in the effectiveness of rife's devices.....is the noble gas tube. There is a simple reason for this.
In electrical terms, which includes the physical aspects of the situation.. a metal antenna is perfected at ONE single frequency. Above and below that frequency... distortion rises dramatically. That it possesses one single resonant frequency. We use the designs, or solid metals for antennas as this is the simple way to effectively do things. To make inexpensive functional long term long lifespan antennas.
When combining frequencies for modulation, side band distortions begin to creep in, especially when the signal loading/intensity/level/complexity goes up. The more signal and carrier that is imparted on the antenna system, the more the distortion increases. When running a solid wire antenna, a tank circuit must be used for resonance matching with the primary resonance of the antenna, otherwise too much power blows back into the antenna driving circuit, as the primary resonance of the antenna fires up like a Helmholtz resonator... and like a side band distorted set of organ tubes....as the power loading goes up.. the tank circuit is there to absorb the primary reflections.
HOWEVER.
A noble gas tube, suffers NONE of these issues. It is a true wide band antenna, that has no inherent self resonance/reflection attributes/issues. It can have those issues but it is very power dependent in those aspects.
In rife's devices, was a very important aspect that the mixing of the frequencies a very wide bandwidth of them, be as distortion free as possible, otherwise the device would not work.
The US military used this sort of device on tanks during the gulf war, in some locations. Field testing it, so to speak. The antenna had unlimited bandwidth and frequency ranges and was a simple gas filled bulb that stuck out the side of the tank. If it was sheared off or broken/shot off, a new one could be created from inside the tank. Like filling a balloon. I found the article on this by mistake one time (stumbled over it), and have not found it since.
A radio antenna made of electrified gas could lead to stealthy, jamming-resistant transmitters, research now reveals.
Electrified gas, or plasma, makes up stars and lightning and is what sheds light in fluorescent bulbs. Sealed glass, ceramic or even flexible plastic tubes of plasma can behave just like conventional metal antennas.
Scientists are now developing remarkably simple and rugged plasma antenna prototypes that could soon find use in the military or telecommunications.
These antennas only work when energized, effectively vanishing when turned off, with the plasma reverting back to normal gas. This is key for stealth on the battlefield—metal antennas can scatter incoming radar signals, giving away their presence.
In addition, to counteract jamming attempts, plasma antennas can rapidly adjust which frequencies they broadcast and pick up by changing how much energy the plasma is given. This way, they avoid interference from enemy signals. Metal antennas, on the other hand, are each forced to receive and transmit only a given range of frequencies, making them vulnerable to jamming.
The fact that plasma antennas can get reconfigured to broadcast and receive a wide range of frequencies also means "you can create a kind of 'all-in-one' antenna, with one plasma antenna performing the jobs of several metal antennas," researcher Theodore Anderson, CEO of plasma antenna company Haleakala R&D in Brookfield, Mass., told LiveScience. "We're pursuing telecommunications as well as military applications."
These plasma antennas use inert noble gases such as neon, and do not get very hot when turned on. Anderson and his colleagues are currently experimenting with plasma in glass tubes, but to make them more rugged, they plan in the future to use ceramic tubes encased in heat-resistant synthetic foam "almost as hard as steel," he said.
The scientists are currently developing a "smart" plasma antenna that can steer a beam of radio waves 360 degrees to scan a region and then find and lock onto transmitting antennas. A comparable radio array using metal antennas would be much larger and heavier, Anderson said. The scientists plan to complete their commercial prototype by the end of November 2008.
Then the other part of the secret is the resonances were used to 'jack' (as in jack up,like jacking up a car, with a click type car jack) the resonance into peaking in one direction, like making a glass explode. Which requires perfected multi-stage interlocked resonances with no distortion in any form, or in any of the complex patterning of the multiple frequencies. this makes the cold plasma antenna the only way to go, the only way to get there effectively, for wideband use, or multiple diseases, contagions, and so on..
It's not just sheer level, it's like inducing magnetism into non magnetic metals, via hitting the right resonance frequency.
Anti-gravity is similar but requires spin polarization as well.
