Wow! It appears that people are really waking up to the Fed fraud. Here's a ZeroHedge page that warms my cockles (whatever cockles are). I found the public responses to the Fed's Facebook page to be very intelligent, witty and some made me break out in joyful laughter:

The Fed Launches A Facebook Page... And The Result Is Not What It Had Expected (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-08-21/fed-launches-facebook-page-and-result-not-what-it-had-expected)

While it is not exactly clear what public relations goals the privately-owned Fed (recall Bernanke's Former Advisor: "People Would Be Stunned To Know The Extent To Which The Fed Is Privately Owned") hoped to achieve by launching its first Facebook page last Thursday, the resultant outpouring of less than euphoric public reactions suggest this latest PR effort may have been waster at best, and at worst backfired at a magnitude that matches JPM's infamous #AskJPM twitter gaffe.

Here are some examples of the public responses to the Fed's original posting: they all share a certain uniformity...

Well after 'cockle gate' back on topic.....

We could all be out cockling at this rate , which can be a dangerous job on the mudflats..
Certainly a good punishment for 'Banksters' and the likes.....

The numbers don’t lie: We’ve reached the point of no return on our national debt, meaning a collapse is imminent

‘President Obama and many in Congress have taken recent employment numbers and twisted them into something
positive, meaning that because unemployment figures have fallen over the past 2-3 years, the economy has
‘dramatically’ improved.

It’s a lie of epic proportions. The real reason why unemployment is dropping is because record numbers of Americans
are either discouraged with trying to find a decent job or have landed on the government dole. The point is, the
unemployment rate is artificially low because a record number of Americans are no longer in the workforce.’

Thanks for the humor, Cider! I must admit that I have never eaten cockles nor have I been to Ireland in this life or before (to my recollection anyway).

And just so that readers will not misunderstand, "cockles" also refers to an idiom "warm the cockles of your heart" which means that something makes them warm and happy. I'm not sure how that went from mussels in vinegar to feeling good about something. I enjoyed the song, too.

Bump post.......

"cockles" also refers to an idiom "warm the cockles of your heart"

That is right and you used it in a correct term/context but it made me chuckle
and think of sunny days walking on the promenade at the seaside....LOL

It was also part of the name given to a daring commando raid on the French
coast during WW11.....
