https://ravenredbone.com/2016/08/27/important-message-from-keeper-of-sacred-white-buffalo-calf-pipe-chief-arvol-looking-horse/

I, Chief Arvol Looking Horse, of the Lakota, Dakota, and Nakota Nations, ask you to understand an Indigenous perspective on what has happened in America, what we call “Turtle Island.” My words seek to unite the global community through a message from our sacred ceremonies to unite spiritually, each in our own ways of beliefs in the Creator.

We have been warned from ancient prophecies of these times we live in today, but have also been given a very important message about a solution to turn these terrible times.

To understand the depth of this message you must recognize the importance of Sacred Sites and realize the interconnectedness of what is happening today, in reflection of the continued massacres that are occurring on other lands and our own Americas.

I have been learning about these important issues since the age of 12 when I received the Sacred White Buffalo Calf Pipe Bundle and its teachings. Our people have strived to protect Sacred Sites from the beginning of time. These places have been violated for centuries and have brought us to the predicament that we are in at the global level.

Look around you. Our Mother Earth is very ill from these violations, and we are on the brink of destroying the possibility of a healthy and nurturing survival for generations to come, our children’s children.

Our ancestors have been trying to protect our Sacred Site called the Sacred Black Hills in South Dakota, “Heart of Everything That Is,” from continued violations. Our ancestors never saw a satellite view of this site, but now that those pictures are available, we see that it is in the shape of a heart and, when fast-forwarded, it looks like a heart pumping.

The Diné have been protecting Big Mountain, calling it the liver of the earth, and we are suffering and going to suffer more from the extraction of the coal there and the poisoning processes used in doing so.

The Aborigines have warned of the contaminating effects of global warming on the Coral Reefs, which they see as Mother Earth’s blood purifier.

The indigenous people of the rainforest say that the rainforests are the lungs of the planet and need protection.

The Gwich’in Nation in Alaska has had to face oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge coastal plain, also known to the Gwich’in as “Where life begins.”

The coastal plain is the birthplace of many life forms of the animal nations. The death of these animal nations will destroy indigenous nations in this territory.

As these destructive developments continue all over the world, we will witness many more extinct animal, plant, and human nations, because of mankind’s misuse of power and their lack of understanding of the “balance of life.”

The Indigenous people warn that these destructive developments will cause havoc globally. There are many, many more indigenous teachings and knowledge about Mother Earth’s Sacred Sites, her chakras, and connections to our spirit that will surely affect our future generations.

There needs to be a fast move toward other forms of energy that are safe for all nations upon Mother Earth. We need to understand the types of minds that are continuing to destroy the spirit of our whole global community. Unless we do this, the powers of destruction will overwhelm us.

Our Ancestors foretold that water would someday be for sale. Back then this was hard to believe, since the water was so plentiful, so pure, and so full of energy, nutrition and spirit. Today we have to buy pure water, and even then the nutritional minerals have been taken out; it’s just empty liquid. Someday water will be like gold, too expensive to afford.

Not everyone will have the right to drink safe water. We fail to appreciate and honor our Sacred Sites, ripping out the minerals and gifts that lay underneath them as if Mother Earth were simply a resource, instead of the source of life itself.

Attacking nations and using more resources to carry out destruction in the name of peace is not the answer! We need to understand how all these decisions affect the global nation; we will not be immune to its repercussions. Allowing continual contamination of our food and land is affecting the way we think.

A “disease of the mind” has set in world leaders and many members of our global community, with their belief that a solution of retaliation and destruction of peoples will bring peace.

In our prophecies it is told that we are now at the crossroads: Either unite spiritually as a global nation, or be faced with chaos, disasters, diseases, and tears from our relatives’ eyes.

We are the only species that is destroying the source of life, meaning Mother Earth, in the name of power, mineral resources, and ownership of land. Using chemicals and methods of warfare that are doing irreversible damage, as Mother Earth is becoming tired and cannot sustain any more impacts of war.

I ask you to join me on this endeavor. Our vision is for the peoples of all continents, regardless of their beliefs in the Creator, to come together as one at their Sacred Sites to pray and meditate and commune with one another, thus promoting an energy shift to heal our Mother Earth and achieve a universal consciousness toward attaining Peace.

As each day passes, I ask all nations to begin a global effort, and remember to give thanks for the sacred food that has been gifted to us by our Mother Earth, so the nutritional energy of medicine can be guided to heal our minds and spirits.

This new millennium will usher in an age of harmony or it will bring the end of life as we know it. Starvation, war, and toxic waste have been the hallmark of the great myth of progress and development that ruled the last millennium.

To us, as caretakers of the heart of Mother Earth, falls the responsibility of turning back the powers of destruction. You yourself are the one who must decide.

You alone – and only you – can make this crucial choice, to walk in honor or to dishonor your relatives. On your decision depends the fate of the entire World.

Each of us is put here in this time and this place to personally decide the future of humankind.

Did you think the Creator would create unnecessary people in a time of such terrible danger?

Know that you yourself are essential to this world. Understand both the blessing and the burden of that. You yourself are desperately needed to save the soul of this world. Did you think you were put here for something less? In a Sacred Hoop of Life, there is no beginning and no ending.

Chief Arvol Looking Horse is the author ofWhite Buffalo Teachings. A tireless advocate of maintaining traditional spiritual practices, Chief Looking Horse is a member of Big Foot Riders, which memorializes the massacre of Big Foot’s band at Wounded Knee

Bless you Camilo, while there are devil worshippers in charge, I worry if we will make it, but I have faith in human nature that if we keep praying things will change for the better. If we can see the Blue Star Kachina, that's a sign the change is upon us ...right?

I love watching Chief Golden Light Eagle's video's, he is a great man.

It sounds like the "prophecies" that Chief Arvol Looking Horse is referring to may be the 7th Fire prophecies.

You can find the 7th Fire prophecies in the Mishomis Book by Edward Benton-Banai. The Seventh Fire prophecies is also revealed by Grandfather William Commanda (http://www.oneprayer.org/Seven_Fires_Prophecy.html), Keeper of the Seven Fires Wampum Belt of the Anishnabe (Algonquin) Peoples and often called "The Gandhi of the Indian World" on this:

The Seven Fires Prophecy of the Anishnabe is spiritually encoded in the Wampum Belt. The belt is sewn with thousands of tiny, polished, cylindrical purple and white sea shell beads woven together with leather strips. This Wampum Belt has been handed down among the Algonquin for hundreds of years. It has seven Diamonds which represent the Seven Fires. Grandfather Commanda and other Traditional Leaders believe that we have entered the time of the Seventh Fire, which is the time of decision between the two roads of materialism and of spirituality. If the light skinned race chooses the right road, then the Seventh Fire will light the Eighth and final Fire, an internal Fire of peace, love, brotherhood and sisterhood.

Seven Fires Prophecy of the Anishnabe People and the Process of Reconciliation

"At a time when the Anishnabe People were all living in peace and harmony along the shores of the Great Salt Ocean (Atlantic), there came among them seven prophets."

So begins the reading of the Seven Fires Prophecy as woven on a Wampum Belt sacred to the Anishnabe people throughout Turtle Island (North America). Chief William Commanda, the 89 year old spiritual elder of the Algonquin Nation is now the present holder of this belt, which is believed to have come into existence circa 1400 CE. The Seven Fires Prophecy is ancient but its message is relevant for today's world and for us, who must bring about a new balance to our lives and to the environment which we need for survival.

The Anishnabe are a family of indigenous peoples who, historically, lived along the eastern coast of North America. Anishnabe is translated as "good person" or "one who came down from the sky." Somewhere in a period of time before 1000 CE. And 1400 CE a great migration of the Anishnabe people took place. This migration saw 10,000 large canoes filled with people head inland following what is now called the Saint Lawrence River toward the Great Lakes.

Today, Anishnabe people still live along the East Coast of the U.S. and Canada, as well as, the shores of the Great Lakes, the Rocky Mountains and even as far south as Mexico. They are called by many names including, Cree, Pequot, Wampanoag, Abenaki, Algonquin, MikmaÌq, Shawnee, Innu and Chippawa. The Anishnabe family is probably the largest of all the indigenous nations living on the North American continent.

Why, then, did a people who lived for many thousands of years decide to leave their homes and travel many thousands of miles to new and unfamiliar lands at a time when, according to Anishnabe traditions, we were living in peace and harmony? The answer lies in the reading of the Seven Fires Prophecy and its implications not only for the Anishnabe people living 1000 years ago but also for us today.

What does the Seven Fires Prophecy say to Anishnabe people and how does that relate to people living in North America in the year 2000? First, the Seven Fires Prophecy is not only addressed to the Indian people of this land, it was meant for people of all colors. It is a warning and at the same time a promise of better things to come if all of us living on Turtle Island can learn to put aside our egos, our cultural and racial bias and come together as a people, one people, for our collective healing and the healing of Mother Earth.

The first three Prophets who came among our people brought a warning. They told us to be aware that a race of people, referred to as the "Light Skinned Race" would be coming to these lands.

They advised the Anishnabe that in the interest of security for our people and our nation, it would be wise if we divided our population into two groups. One would leave and go deep into the interior of this continent and wait until the intentions of the Light Skinned Race were made known. The other would wait and greet the newcomers as brothers and sisters.

These Prophets also told the Anishnabe where they would travel and how they would be guided to their ultimate destination. They told of a sacred Megis shell that would appear and lead the way to a series of islands where their journey would end. The final destination would be at a spot where the "food would grow on water." That area turned out to be the Great Lakes region where "pagwadjanomin" or wild rice grows on water.

For those of us who were to stay and greet the Light Skinned Race the 4th, 5th and 6th Prophets gave these warnings and prophecies.

"If they (Light Skinned Race) come bearing nothing in their hands, you must still be cautious for they may be smiling, but in reality they may be wearing the face of Death. Do not accept them readily but wait and see. You will know them by their actions."

"If they come with the face of Brotherhood, you will become one people. Their knowledge of the material world and your spiritual wisdom will be joined together to create a mighty spiritual nation and you will be joined by two other races, (we believe) Asian and African, to create the mightiest nation of all."

"If, on the other hand, the Light Skinned Race comes wearing the face of Death then a great calamity will befall the people of this land. Great suffering and pain will be visited upon your people. The very cup of Life will almost be overturned."

"You will know which face the Light Skinned Race is wearing when the fish are dying and the water's unfit to drink."

The 6th Prophet warned that the Natural People of this land would be attacked by a Light Skinned Race and that a great period of suffering would ensue. He foretold of a darkness, which would overshadow this land, and the suffering, which would be inflicted on the Anishnabe people, as well as on all indigenous peoples.

At this time the 7th and final Prophet came to the Anishnabe. "He was different from the others and had a strange light in his eyes." He came with a message, not only for the Anishnabe people, but directly for the Light Skinned Race "At the time of the Seventh Fire, a new people will emerge. They will retrace the footsteps of their ancestors and will try to find those things which have been lost along the way. They will approach the elders in search of guidance. It will not be an easy task but if they are of good heart and pure intentioned they can prevail. Some elders will be sleeping and have nothing to say, others will say nothing out of fear.

The New generation must be fearless in their quest.

The Light Skinned race will be at a crossroads. If they continue down the road of Materialism, it will be their destruction and for all humanity as well. But if the Light Skinned Race chooses to join with the Natural People of this land on the Spiritual path then they will again have the chance to create a nation, the greatest spiritual nation ever to have existed.

Two other races will join these two races. Together, they will together light the 8th and final Fire an eternal fire of Peace, Harmony, Brotherhood and Sisterhood."

We believe that the road towards blind materialism, the choice for the majority of humanity and especially the Light Skinned or European/American, created an environment where Nature and Natural People have suffered immensely. In the end, it can only lead to our collective destruction. Our way is above all a Spiritual Path. We are not, nor have we ever, been slaves to the material path. Our strength lies in our native ability to go beyond all that happened to our people in the past 508 years. The joining together of the material knowledge of the west with the spiritual wisdom and values of the Indigenous Peoples of this land is a path of healing and survival for all humanity.

The choice is in our hands.

Reconciliation is the first step in accomplishing our vision as Anishnabe people of a world where the grass is once again green, the waters fit to drink and the air pure. Our people, the Indigenous peoples from the Arctic to Terra Del Fuego, share a common vision to stand united in our hearts for the healing of our pain, as well as the pain that all humanity endures.

We have been through the fires of oppression. We have felt the whip of hate. We have tasted our blood and tears as it ran into the bosom of our sacred Mother, Earth. The history of our two peoples, one Red, one White has been written in blood and suffering. The lands where the Anishnabe lived from "time immemorial" were taken by armed force. Our people were killed. Genocide, incarceration, disease, was and, still is in many parts of this hemisphere, the price to pay for being Indigenous.

We must forgive. There is no option

By forgiving we liberate, not only ourselves, but also our oppressor. By forgiving we open the door to those who desire forgiveness. It is not that we believe we are superior to those people who, because of their fear, blindness and isolation did not see us as we are, their brother and sister, their father and mother, their lover, their friend. Through forgiveness we allow the spirits of our ancestors to accomplish their mission, which began so many centuries ago on these very shores.

We offer our hands to you, America, and ask you once again to come with us along the path where the grass is still green, the air is still pure and fish can still live in the waters.

Megwitch, hagana, Thank you, to all my relations, Tom Dostou, July 11, 2000

"You yourself are desperately needed to save the soul of this world"

So please share with us your plan to save the world I'm sure we would all like to help. The key is to not submit to the fear. Keep your thoughts and intentions focused on love and the light of God (however you define God). Devotional Non-duality is focusing constantly on the idea that we are all splinters of God, co-creators. See God in everything, with no thing separate from all that is. I AM the Great, I AM.

Epigenetics teaches that we become what we think of and are being. If there are infinite potentials, infinite universes, then each to his own. My universe is one where love reigns and fear is known as false reality. You can help by knowing that your universe is like mine. The powerful attractor fields that physicists and spiritualists speak of are real. You must resonate with your desire, not with your worries about your world. See my signature.

My question was actually a bit sarcastic. The post indicates the world is in trouble. I think I can say with confidence those on Avalon know that and your preaching to the Choir. Secondly you say that we need to fix it. How we fix it seems a matter of opinion, and there are hundreds of those opinions on Avalon and some who preach like they know the absolute truth and the one and only way. Yet if that advise true then why is the world still a mess. You might say, oh because they didn't all do what I told them to (not live in fear, forgive etc.). Well that indicates your opinions are wrong because you cant get everybody to do what you tell them to do. So again I say what's the plan? Most on Avalon are pretty well informed and are aware of forgiveness, creating our own realty, not living in fear yada yada. Most people on Avalon have chosen to wake up, educate themselves, not be influenced by fear and live spiritual lives. I have to say I just resent posts like this that tell me the worlds a mess I have to fix it. I think everybody here in their own way is trying to the best of their ability to change things. I don't think any body has figured out how yet, if you did it would be fixed by now. So please get off your soap box and do your own work and stop telling me what you think I need to do.

Savannah- you may have intended sarcasm, I am a bit cynical myself, but by taking the question seriously conk has in fact proposed a solution, or at least an accommodation. If we expect misery and sadness then it is easy to find. By living content and encouraging positivity and love, life can be a wonderful experience,

We only have one go at life--- why not try try to be the best you can be and stop listening to the gloom carriers. Most of us have little influence in the broader sphere but within our own smaller communities we can encourage communication and co-operation. Perhaps then we will find that 'from little things big things grow' and misery will not be able to get a foothold! I think these white calf prophesies hold a lot of wisdom that would lead us all in a very different direction if only we would give it a chance.

[QUOTE=Savannah; So please get off your soap box and do your own work and stop telling me what you think I need to do.[/QUOTE]

Seems a little harsh don't you think? I really see no reason in making such comments towards people wanting to share a little bit of knowledge. After all you did ask, whether you were being sarcastic or not. I'm sure we all have a piece of the truth and if we put it all together the greater truth will be realized. I thought perhaps that is what Avalon is all about?

Actually I don't think anyone has proposed how to save the world. If I change my expectations it may change my mood, it does little to change the world. Everyone or a large percentage must make changes or be awakened to carnage the world. Changing their attitudes may not change things, it is only a supposition on your part. No I don't think it is harsh. I find the post fear mongering and disempowering. I realize this is a very unpopular perspective to take and one people run into when pointing out errors in new age thinking. I don't need to be told the world is a mess and I should fix it when in fact no one has yet figured how to stop TPB from doing what they are doing to all of us. Again everyone on Avalon is aware of the state of the world. So what exactly is the purpose of this post. Many post provide information, help people solve problems or expose wants going on. What is in the post TO ME is akin to channeling. It sounds good on the surface but when analyzed it has little value and is actually disempowering.

I think you're right Savannah... we know there are chemicals, pollution and water shortages. So why isn't this chief giving us a list of water filtration devices, of which there are hundreds on the market? Or telling us about industrial hemp and bamboo, which could halt a lot of environmental destruction? Materials like this keep people way behind the curve. They're put out there as traps for a fast awakening humanity.

Dear Savannah, it seems to me perhaps that your looking lense is a little tired. This world is a wearisome place for even seasoned travellers. Take rest :)

The value in this message, for me, is that it allows one to understand better the perspective of the original peoples of america.

It is not offered as a comprehensive framework for the resolution of all worldly problems. It is a representation of the deep understanding that native american people have of the machinations of nature and the spiritual plight we collectively face during this age of change.

The additional post by TrumanCash regarding the '7th fire prophecies' of the Anishnabe peoples reflects this natural perspective of understanding and I marvel at the colossal hearts of these brave people who have seen everything the love turn to dust and yet are willing and open to forgive those very people, who in their ignorance have been the vehicles for such chaos and destruction.

Each one has a gift to share at this time; some offer technical inspiration in the form of life-serving technology, others may give love and compassion through their actions to those in need, and others offer us their wisdom and perspective so that we may compare and contrast it with our own and perhaps come to a fuller understanding of what it means to be alive on this planet during this age of great upheaval.

With my warm regards to all those present,
Art

People can only become good human beings by evolution....this is then passed onto their children. John Lear said we have to have integrity and end 'envy hate & greed'.

Actually I don't think anyone has proposed how to save the world. ..... I have proposed the only way to save the world. Of course I'm simply parroting the work of others, persons vastly more advanced and aware than myself. Thoughts and intentions create our experience. The unfolding of mass from energy is brought on solely by thought. The collapse of the wave function is brought on by consciousness, from awareness. Our experience is witness to that unfolding. All things arise from the infinite potential of the Universe (s).

Also, the power of love, gratitude, and other positive thought patterns are exponentially more powerful than those in the lower realms of consciousness, like apathy, pity, guilt, greed, and worse. Those sublevels of thoughts are weak in the eyes of our loving God, from which all form manifests. So, yes, the answer is Love, Allowing, and Trust. Hold those thoughts in mind and that will be your experience. It's universal law.

The great teachers believe that an increase of 10% in the number of us that think in this manner is enough to offset the evil that pervades this time. Why do you think they put so much effort into brain washing and fear promulgation? To keep us in the dirty trenches, fearful and ignorant of our immense power as co-creators of our existence.
