I find it interesting that the police first fired a warning shot and then shot him once in the leg. They sent him to hospital first then arrested him.

If this had happened in the US, all the officers would have emptied their guns into him, then arrested him, then maybe send him to hospital.

Why are US police so violent, are they trained that way, or are they simply scared of getting hurt so they take no chances?

Yes, you have encapsulated my greatest complaint with police.
When it comes to someone threatening them with something that is not a gun, then they should attempt to wound the suspect rather than kill them.
Further more, in America, if the police shoot you, they will handcuff you regardless of how that might affect the gunshot wound they caused. They will not add pressure to the wound and or do anything to prevent the shot person from bleeding out.
So not only will they not administer any first aid to a person they have shot, they will not allow the person who has been shot to administer any first aid to themselves either.
I'm at a complete loss as to how the evil in this is not recognized by the judicial system in this country.

Why? Good question, ~ mod hat off~ my personal opinion is that the ptb have roots in law enforcement, they have benefited by hiring bullies with psychopathic, ego driven personalities. The job attracts the kind of person who can stand by and let the guy they shot bleed out. It's a huge problem. I don't trust the police one bit. But unfortunately they are they only thing available. I can't tell you how many people I know that have called the cops for help only to be locked up. Or be treated terribly , yet we put up with it ..its a sick society.

And yes there are good cops out there, some that don't like what they see and find a higher purpose for being cop. These men and women are becoming an endangered species in law enforment.

Six police officers punished for accidental shots fired

Posted By: Joseph Tatone 14. July 2016

Six policemen were punished for accidental shots that went off during the 14-month temporary arming of the police.

The Norwegian Bureau for the Investigation of Police Affairs has investigated 15 cases, newspaper VG reported. During just over a year the police fired at least 25 accidental shots. Of these, 15 were investigated, and in six of the cases the Bureau concluded that criminal law was broken. The police have received fines for these incidents.

Sentencing for a accidental discharge is normally a fine of 10,000 kroner, the newspaper said. All six have accepted the decision by the Bureau.

And I`m pretty sure all the shots were fired in the absence of criminals...
