Posted by Bobby Broadway: "This is a rare Natural Weather Phenomenon called Ball Lightning! This video was taken in the Mountains about 15 to 20 Miles west of Boulder Colorado while some friends and I were camping at a mountain party, we are next to a fire so there are bits from the fire going in front of the camera."

I've seen some pretty strange lightning before - including some that looked nothing like traditional lightning. However, I have not yet seen ball lightning, but it is a reasonably well known, if not that well understood phenomenon.

I never witnessed ball lightning but its safe to say that ufos seem to be attracted to the storms. Recalling this one from the shuttle and very similar orb like shapes...

I read somewhere that Ufo's like to recharge with lightning...apparently they are often found above active volcanoes for that reason? Or...maybe someone has weaponized lightning ?
Good trap if one is an aggressive type...lightning moves very quickly and packs a lot of energy...much more than any weapon system that is public

Shows how much I know about science, why was the lightning not arcing to earth but seemingly across the sky? A differential between areas of the clouds?

Very interesting vid once again mojo, thx
Those objects, Hmm?
only reasonable man made reason I could think of is:
Weather/storm research of some kind, IE plane doping objects into the cloud and getting info from it?

or most prob they some unknown presence :)

I love to see 'Cloud to cloud' lightening.

Just adding.

Before getting married I used to stand out in lightening storms, experiencing, watching them.

One night I pulled up out side the cab office I was working at and witnessed a great arch of lightening cross the horizon in-front of me.

WoW, I wen't inside and mentioned it to the cab/controller who needed a break,
so now where both outside and I pointed down the street and motioned my finger across the horizon describing the arch as seen.
just as i did another great arch of lightening followed my finger across the horizon.

The cab control at that point said to me 'If I ever get agree with him, please don't point at me' :)

Yes, majority of lightning is intra-cloud--see my one nifty picture:

It doesn't seem like much, until you tie it in with the narrative.
