Thanks Avalon, Been a member here for many years and I am greatful for the insight that you have brought me over the years. Now I've found something I've wanted to share by an author very close to me.

If the bridge across to the other side burns or falls, what do you do? If light turns into dark and you cannot see your way, what do you do? If the river rages far beyond its bank, what do you do? If all you know is wrong or lost, what do you do? If you find your fellows are corrupt and care little for one another, what do you do? If all religions prove false or cease to aid and just compete for space or gold, what do you do? If all the institutions meant to aid and all the leaders meant to lead have lost their way, what do you do? If it seems the time to rest is short with only time to work, what do you do? If the trees turn brown and the sky glows red instead of blue, what do you do? If great structures made of ice dissolve in fractious flows, what do you do? If the sun grows angry and bleeds and tears upon the dying earth, what do you do? If fellow turns to fellows full of hate and resentful rage, what do you do? If forces you can't see impede your way and try to block your view, what do you do? If all you thought you knew was gone or just a dream, what do you do? More accurate in this is what are you doing now? For these are all condition now evident for those who see with more than just their sight. Remember then "to see the hidden shore"? It's much the same in this, my friend. Most cannot see the things the way they are, they see the things the way they are said to be nor can they see solutions - "the hidden shore"- the place of peace in love and so much more. They cannot see or hear or feel the change because their sight and touch and hearing are all shielded from the truth. The mystic hand has swept it from their view. And given glimpses through a door just so ajar, their fear does tell the mind to slam it shut. They cannot see solutions so they choose to take retreat from any view that offers truth in tragic, uncensored view. It is the words if tragic death destroyed and grief that keeps them barring closed the door with. Instant care. If they could only see it takes a time to end that makes the glorious new. It is not tragic but a way to start to right the wrongs, to heal the earth and her people on the way, to learn to see the truth and live beyond belief. If you knew how hard the path would be before you start, what would you do? Most cannot answer as you do. It is in this where empathy and understanding rule your heart and guide your day. Knowing they can't answer as you do- ruled by fear and persuaded to see what they are told to see. They cannot see the hidden shore. The irony in this is that it is not hidden here at all. But only some have cleared the fog to see it glow. Given now a chance to help them see, what do you do? Just as you have and learn, much more to come. Take the moments here and there to rest, find peace. Take time to feel the earth and hear it breathe. Take time to clear your thoughts and ease your mind. Refill, restore and stay in love and faith for there is more to come and more to do. Each day, each lesson, each thought you are more prepared to stand amidst the fray. You would not be in this or tasked to do the things you do if all the faith and hope were not well placed in you. Still a choice, a daily pact you make, each time you write or speak or live this truth.

"People say they love truth, but in reality they w‎ant to believe that which they love is true"‎

Robert Ringer

"And let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit. For love that seeks aught but the disclosure of its own mystery is not love but a net cast forth: and only the unprofitable is caught"

Kahlil Gibran

The key to enlightenment, i am told, is to live as your immortal soul and learn unselfish love (for all things). Everything else will fall into place.

If the bridge across to the other side burns or falls, what do you do?
If this question if for my ego.....fall completely to pieces. If it's for the Real me.....do the very best that I can!

More accurate in this is what are you doing now?
Again, if this is directed to my ego - screwing everything up. If it's directed to Love, right now I'm doing the very best that I know how.

I take the liberty to edit this writing to make more sense to me, Reality.

For these are all condition now evident for those who are ego-free and see with more than just their egoic sight.
Most EGOS cannot see the things the way they are .... The EGOS cannot see or hear or feel the change because their sight and touch and hearing are all shielded from the unbearable truth. The EGOS cannot see solutions so they choose to take retreat from any view that offers truth in tragic, uncensored view. If the EGOS could only see it takes a time to end that makes the glorious new. Most EGOS cannot answer as you, Reality do. Knowing the EGOS can't answer as you, Reality, do - ruled by fear and persuaded to see what the EGOS are told to see. The EGOS cannot see the hidden shore.
Take time to clear your egoic thoughts and ease your egoic mind. Each day, each lesson, each thought you, Reality, are more prepared to stand amidst the fray. You, Love, would not be in this or asked to do the things you do if all the faith and hope were not well placed in you, Love.
Still a choice, a daily pact you make, each time you, Reality, write or speak or live this truth.
[It's all about your identity as Reality/Love or the ego. Which one are you?]

Hi Jim, interesting take on the writing. I've been reading these for about eight months now and they have many layers and can be interpreted differently. With that said I appreciate your views, although the author(s) are amazing wordsmiths and if it was meant to say ego, trust me it would

One is never ever lost though there is the experience of being lost.
