When he speculates he is even careful to let you know that it is "high octane speculation," as he calls it.

He just seems to give info without even telling you where he's getting his info from most of the time. topics as far as I can tell .I also think Joseph is an excellent researcher,I do not see
any conflict here all I said is the start of the interview is similar to what David and
other researchers have expressed , I admire boths work and post both , and if
giovonni had not posted this interview I would have.David does a lot more
interviews and covers and posts many more subjects so on some topics he is not
going to sound as academic as Joseph . But joseph also speculates in some of his
discussions, granted there are few better at covering NAZI related topics from pre
WW11 to today. As far as I'm concerned it was a compliment to compare them

David has certainly researched his field as well as Joseph imo you do not need a
PHD to be clever or intelligent.

Agreed, you don't need a degree at all to be intelligent. But if you do go to Oxford and get a Ph.D., they surely make you bury your face in an immense amount of reading and research equivalent to full time job hours, and hold you to a rigorous standard of reasoned analysis, that most people have no experience with and can't even really relate to in the "alternative community."

I also agree that a lot of people with Ph.D.'s seem to follow mainstream ideas, but this isn't always the case and really I think it's not fair to make any solid conclusion about that without surveys, because a lot of Ph.D.'s I know are often very open minded people who just keep their opinions to themselves (and sometimes I can't blame them).

The kind of academic control that takes place largely happens through which professors are chosen to head departments, and which research projects governments grant research funds for. If the government doesn't like research being done by a particular university, they can even threaten to withdraw funding. As usual, it often comes down to money.

Anyway all that is off topic I guess. But I do think academics get a bad rap because what governments are actually largely responsible for.

This leads to the question why are there not more Whistleblowers in all fields ?

There certainly have been many but they are either discredited like Dr.Wakefield
in the Vaccine field and many , many scientists , journalists and whistle blowers
have been suicided, and this has happened in many fields.

The other ploys commonly used is patriotism , blackmail , job/ family /financial
security and so on......So it certainly is not black and white , there are brave
academics as well as alternate researchers......

Probably lots of reasons. Lack of media coverage, lack of interest in general, plus all the fake whistleblowers who are not only given platforms but elevated to pseudo-celebrity status within their little circles.

In the academic environment, a lot of the tenured heads of departments are old men who are stuck in the past and have professors removed who are too much against the grain. Historians in academia know that this happens and just have to play ball if they want to keep their jobs.

Yes, if you're an extremely advanced/spiritually awakened person then you just don't vote or you throw your vote away to a 3rd party candidate, and the world will undoubtedly be saved and become a utopia. Yes, I'm sure that's exactly how it works. I've heard these righteous ideas for years.

Trump is not an establishment candidate. He's not perfect, and he's probably got ties to the Italian mafia, but he doesn't have strong ties to the Clinton/Bush/CIA mafia which clearly hates him. That, and the major policy differences he's talking about, are why I am actually excited about the guy, but all of that gets into complicated analyses of what has been going on this year and I'm not sure you would be interested in any of that if you really think that not voting is the answer to your problems. I don't particularly care to hear all this impractical stuff about how both sides are Satan and therefore (insert completely useless alternative here).

You can go boycott the election entirely if you want but if Hillary Clinton gets elected you're going to wish you had done more. In a contest between a Satan who wants to start WW3 and a Satan who wants to work with Russia and cut back on federal power, it's a no brainer.
