Obama's about to ink a deal that will GIVE Israel US$ 38 BILLION in military aid. So much for being hard on Israel.
from the article in the New York Times:
"The United States has finalized a $38 billion package of military aid for Israel over the next 10 years, the largest of its kind ever, and the two allies plan to sign the agreement on Wednesday, American and Israeli officials said.
The package will provide an average of $3.8 billion a year over the next decade to Israel, already the largest recipient of American aid, including financing for missile defense systems that defend against rockets fired by groups like Hezbollah and Hamas. Under a previous 10-year agreement that expires in 2018, the United States provides about $3 billion a year, but lately Congress has added up to $500 million a year for missile defense."
“The United States has invested significantly in many of Israel’s most effective defenses against terrorist threats,” Daniel B. Shapiro, the American ambassador to Israel, said in a speech this week. He cited the Iron Dome antimissile system and the delivery by the end of this year of the first F-35 Joint Strike Fighter."

Interesting... to say the least.
Did you know that in 2013, the Israelian overall GDP was supposedly 290.6 billion USD as compared to the 33.68 billion USD of Jordan? Procapita GDP for Israel in 2013 was 36,051 USD. USA Procapita GDP for 2013 was 53,041 USD.... and the GDP in Italy in 2013 was 35, 925 USD ( 3 times what a public highschool teacher makes per year, and mostly any commoner as well, though). I found this data just by googling "GDP" then the country.
Here is an "official" govt site that has some info on US foreign aide in the world. On the homepage it shows that just for year 2017, the govt has designated 34 B USD for foreign aide.
There's a map you can consult, too.

PROPAGANDA
$38 billion in the title implies each year. BUT.
The actual deal involves $3.8 billion in annual aid.
Divided by 320 million Americans, comes out to a whopping $11.88 per American.
Are you still outraged?

...and the population of Israel is: Israeli population (https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&sqi=2&ved=0ahUKEwi0qdHviZLPAhVK62MKHdHDCaoQFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jewishvirtuallibrary.org%2Fjsource%2FSociety_%26_Culture%2Fnewpop.html&usg=AFQjCNFMzfbJUDx2jZDkub10S4JuB33e1Q&sig2=TLEr-6LEopE0JR-eL473gA&bvm=bv.132479545,d.cGc)
Which works out to about $4460 per person in Israel. So it takes about 405 USA citizens to send that much military support there. But of course, not all citizens pay taxes, some are too young, some make too little to qualify etc.so the money is a bit more concentrated per person.
However that money will do it's part in removing the Palestinians one way or another. Maybe some of it will even to to developing more useful things.

How do I answer this? Some like to say "I have nothing against the Jews, but ..." Well, I do not harbour any ill will towards any ethnic or religious group - perhaps excepting the satanic, criminal, elite PTB. I have come to believe that the creation of the Israeli nation by the Brits and the Yanks was intentionally the first step in creating a potential WWIII situation that has been thoroughly explored by the satanic, criminal elite. One might say that Israel is the planned segue from WWII to WWIII. You know that TPTB plan way ahead.

We'll see about that, I'll keep this post handy for the future.

A couple of things ...
1. The $38 B does not imply anything. You are inferring that it does.
2. You have arbitrarily restated the amount as an annual gift, I guess to imply that broken down like this, it's not a big amount of money. It's still $38 billion, however, which IS a big amount of money, no matter how it's parsed. To parcel it out like this smacks of propaganda, so thanks for the heads-up in your title.
3. Similarly to your mistake noted above, you have inferred, somehow, that I'm "outraged" :mad2:. I'm not outraged, I'm just passing along some MSM news, and noting that although Obama has been criticized for taking a hard line on support of Israel, this latest action speaks against this notion. It implies that he is not.
4. This state of affairs makes it a fact, not "PROPAGANDA". Disagreeing with factual reality does not make the reality 'propaganda'. Unless, of course, in one's mind one infers that it is a skewing of the truth for nefarious purposes. To me, then, it's not propaganda (see #1 above).
5. I can't count very well, as I seem to have stretched the concept of "a couple" to a rather lengthy five item list. For this I apologize. But I don't apologize for bringing a rather interesting fact to the attention of forum members.
Cheers,
Brian

I apologize for my flippant tone. I'm somewhat tired of the anti-Israel posts all over the net, that strive to make Americans angry and upset with Israel, factual or not.
Little Israel has given back quite a lot.
If you're using any derivative of an IBM PC, you're benefiting in no small way.
They're victims of much slanted propaganda and false claims promulgated by many, ranging from neo-NAZIs to Muslims.
Israel is by no means perfect, and has quite a few black marks on its history, but it isn't in the same league as its opponents (and neighbors!) who seek complete annihilation of the Jews.
And I grew up with refugees (or their descendants) from Lebanon and Syria who were driven out by the "peaceful" Muslims. They have no illusions about the deceit and outright evil of Islam, and weren't fooled by the propaganda they peddle. You shouldn't either.

NONFACT.
POPULATION : 8,541,000 (2016)
3.8 billion aid comes to : $444.91 per capita.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel
Ethnic groups (2016):
74.8% Jewish
20.8% Arab
4.4% others
. . .
So 1 part in 4 goes to non-Jewish people.

Oops, sorry. It's $4470, not $4460. Using these numbers, 38,000,000,000 divided by 8,500,000 = 4470.59 on a calculator. Using the number 8,541,000 I get $4449.13, rounding up.
But these numbers don't have much meaning except to give some limited perspective. And, it's not humanitarian aid to help human beings in any way, it's military money that will be used to buy military products from US manufacturers. A decent handout of US taxpayer money to the military industrial people some are calling it.
U.S. lawmakers have in recent years given Israel up to $600 million in annual discretionary funds for this purpose so it's a significant increase. And they must use it to buy US products only. Israel also agree not to lobby congress for more money during this time.
It will allow the Israeli military a 10 year budget to continue to annex what's left of Palestine which will give Israel the expanded borders it needs.
So it's very helpful to US military manufacturers and Israeli expansion. This is significant enough not to have to mention the details of the collateral damage it will cause.

That's still a TEN YEAR figure, not an annual amount.
"annex what's left of Palestine"
The never ending conflict between Israelis and their neighbors is due to Islam. Since Israel is an infidel, there is no compromise possible, only recapture of the land, and the ‘three choices’ : convert, submit, or die. Muslims have a hatred for anything that shows up Islam as a miserable, unhappy, sick lifestyle only suited to stone age cultures. To see their joy when Kafirs suffer is a tell tale sign.
That's one of the many reasons they hate the Jews in Israel. The early Jewish immigrants bought crappy land and turned it into fertile productive farms. Showed up the locals as lousy farmers. Then the Israelis had the temerity to repeatedly defeat Islamic invasions, showing the world how lousy Muslim soldiers are.
Which also explains why "Palestinians" will only resort to "terrorist" style attacks, while hiding behind non-combatants (children, hospitals, schools, etc). They couldn't win a stand up battle even if they had 200:1 odds in their favor.
If you presume that I do not believe "Palestinian" propaganda, you are correct. Islam teaches the faithful to lie to kafirs (non-muslims).
“The precept of the koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force.”
- - - John Quincy Adams, 6th American President

{Translation: You may think you defeated Islam, but they will lie and promise peace, until their numbers and strength support another attack. And they will use fraud as a weapon, too.}
Let’s not forget that the Jews fought with the Brits and Americans against the NAZIs, while the Muslims joined up with the NAZIs. Birds of a feather?
“Palestinian claims to Israeli land?”
- - American analogy - -
In 1776-83, what would you think of “Loyalists” to King George, who would not help defend America, abandoned their lands so as not to fight their English brethren, then afterwards, refused to recognize the new American government?
What would you think of their claims that their lands were “stolen”? Would you let them back in, without them accepting the rule of American law?
Or would you tell them to ‘take a hike’?
A similar thing occurred in Israel, with respect to the “Palestinian” Muslims who would not help defend against the invasion, in 1948, by eight Muslim countries.
They abandoned their property, as they fled the war zone. And afterwards, would not recognize the Israeli government, nor submit to her laws. Was Israel wrong in not surrendering her lands and sovereignty to the losers?
