There are 85.000 writings to be scanned, they plan to have the first 3000 up about 2019. If they continue at this speed they will have it all online in 100 years !

I wouldnt believe the Vatican on this or most any topic. You've got to remember that it is well documented from whistleblower testimony that the Vatican wants to be the church of the NWO. They dont have the populaces' best interests at heart, just their own. The really interesting documents in the Vatican library, such as those from the old library in Alexandria that 'burned' that would turn the roman church's dogma on its ear, will not be released voluntarily. I am not sure how those docs will be released. If those documents have not all been destroyed, when our current oligarchical nightmare is over, perhaps someday they will be.
