Hello Avalonians!

I received this book as a birthday gift last week. http://www.simonandschuster.com/books/The-37th-Parallel/Ben-Mezrich/9781501135521

As we own one property in the 38th parallel and another very close at 37.28, we have been privy to numerous sightings over the years. My husband may have also had a sleep abduction last month. My husband has been a skeptic on most occult subjects.

Is anyone else on the forum reading this book? I would be grateful for your insights.

At about 40 minutes into the Project Camelot TV interview, Ben states that Chuck, the decommissioned Sheriff's deputy, who was fired from his job for being interviewed about cattle mutilations, was not discriminated against, as 'alien investigators 'are not members of a "protected class". This flies in the face of all reason. Certainly his constitutional rights were violated. Race, Religion, National origin, Marital status, sexual orientation, handicap, etc. etc. These are protected classes. Does this mean that unless we can definitively prove that we were terminated based upon the "eight protected classes", that we consign our rights to speak openly under the constitutional amendment known as freedom of expression? And that no government entity has the right to suppress or retaliate against such action? Need to investigate whether there is a legal defense or a support group for Chuck.

What is really hopeful about this book is not that the information is new to anyone here, but that this information is going mainstream. I first saw him when he was interviewed on CBS this Morning about a week or so ago. Yes, i know, MSM, shouldn't watch it. But how are we to know what the Matrix is doing unless we dip our toe in for review? No doubt, disclosure is very close.

It would be interesting to see as to how far this book goes in discussing the participation of the corporate/government plutocracy in the ufo coverup so that they can secretly control and benefit from the backengineering of alien tech.

Good if this whole issue is getting msm exposure. Soften up the sheeple so that they can finally learn we are not alone. We just dont want this to be a lead up to a fake 'independence day'. Guess we'll see what happens. :-)

I believe there was a thread on Avalon about earthquakes and UFO sightings along the 37th parallel starting North of the Dulce base in Colorado in August of 2011, that lead to the Earthquake in Mineral, Virginia (actually on the 38th parallel) on August 23rd, which lead to shutting down the Washington Memorial (the obelisk amidst the Vesica Pisces at the center of the U.S.A.s capitol.)

Perhaps the 37th parallel is an important highway underground as well.

Will be starting this read tonight. Haven't read a UFO book since E.D.B Ryan"s 'Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind'. Read that in the nineties. There may be some parallels (pardon the pun) between the two reads.

Atlas posted a few videos of the author being interviewed (above), but this is a book, not a video. Unfortunately, I do not have the bandwidth here at the farm to upload the book :( Funny isn't it... Obama talks about bringing the internet to the deepest reaches of Africa, but 90% of all rural residents in the US do not have any or adequate access. Perhaps I could do a Cliff Notes review after i have finished, which at the rate that i have free time, now is projected around the Holidays.... (sigh)
