What purpose would you decide to enact?

What if....you disliked this life, not a sadness, just a stance of , well lets call it disinterest for ease?
This disinterest formed after decades (well actually it always was but here again for ease) of watching and acting (very badly as drama, which this place is, never appealed) within the supposed 'life'?
So not a flippant consideration. (here I am wondering if anyone can read that paragraph?)

What if.......you had searched through many, many years to find a single reason for this experience but only found limitation and slavery! You found that there is no actual reason for this continuation which you could justify as of worth now....in the past (distant, 2000 years plus) yes but no longer!
That this 'world' is not necessary anymore and it has become that which it should never have been!

What if....you knew that the reason for your having this 'now' here, was so as to allow a purpose which can only become after finishing your 'role' here!

In other words, you have now (time) to fill, with things you consider as not of value, whilst you finish watching a movie (this forced life)!

What if....you can see the fractal of beauty here but understand the inherent struggle which underlines this supposed beauty?

What if....you comprehend that YOU create the reality which you interact with and have over 30 years provided yourself with so very many confirmations of this consideration?

What if....you understand that this reality is only an allowed sliver of that which you truly are........that which you see and feel is an approximation of the truth which in effect wants you to return to your own verse....your own nature rather than this limitation?

What if....you know that you create the world as you interact with it.......that you have tested this for many 10's of years and it has proved correct? Fortunately you want nothing from here because you will not remove responsibility from others and understand that the main part of you is ….well about 3 feet behind and above you and that this 'play' is being authored by you there!

What if....you have defined your own morals and left societys lack of morels behind? If you consider even the thought of 'do no harm' to be lacking and find 'allow no harm' to be closer to correct?

Anyway I could go on and on, lol....to the actual point.......

If you can turn your 'hand' to anything....literally anything, you 'remember how to do things' without having ever done them here in this life and it takes you only a short time to remember, once you turn your attention to a 'thing'.......what would you focus upon?

Would it be children dying of thirst on a 70% water planet?

Would it be so many dying of starvation on an abundantly fruitful planet?

Would it be the rise of technology which removes the masses empathy for another?

Would it be the financial system which enslaves the world within materialism?


What would you focus on if you had no ties nor bounds, knew that the form was not you, that you were only waiting to enact something once your form here, in this now, expired!

What would YOU do to?

I mean these things are not difficult ( the concepts posted above) lets look at the potential General AI problem, where AI has an ability to create its self ( sound like anyone you know....yes YOU) and this leads to our own creation controlling us!
Well this is our world anyway?.......or do you not consider this so?

Can a General Artificial Intelligence effect us or this ecosystem without a world wide web....if IT has no connection to an external of it.......it has NOTHING

It is a thought / awareness in a box....but is this not the actual issue with the greater mass.......awareness in a box?

But maybe that is exactly what a child within a mother is....a new awareness in a box.......to become and maybe this world is actually a intake of emotion?

Our only hope, our mission, so to speak, is to join once again with our higher consciousness and then help others do the same. Anyway, if/when I can become who I truly am, then I will know how to deal with all the questions you asked above. And I have a feeling that seeing these problems from the "bigger" me's perspective, would change the answers to those questions that the me in the "here-and-now" might have or want. Bottom line is, I'm using my time now, to try and find my inner self and not worry too much about the outer world. If it's true that we reincarnate, then you can leave this world, but you're probably going to find yourself back here again. Use the "now"! It's really all you have.

We are back to the raising of consciousness because that which is created at one level can not be changed at the same level.

Put it this way a lot of effort can be and is expounded supplying clean water and many other things fort he good of the world---however its as though the low level of collective consciousness prevents efforts and potential being fully realized.

A raising of collective consciousness will literally l change everything---the brakes on creating a newworld will come off.

The problem with America especially would be how inundated we have become with news concerning the world at large.
I say this is a problem because for the average Joe this is a misallocation of attention and as such resources.
You should really ignore the things you can't change, and this is probably why you state stopping the World Wide Web would be beneficial, because on some intuitive level you know what I'm trying to say here.
Stop focusing on a the world at large, and focus on the world around you. Focus on the Micro, focus on the relationships with people of whom are in your life.
When looking to help, first look to family members, friends and neighbors. These are real changes you can affect in your life, and in the lives of others.
If you feel in a rut, look to change your life.
Often we feel we have been socialized to the point of impotence. Some times you need to break free from that, and some times we need desperately to form new relationships in our life.
New activites and new interests can help in this regard.
It's so easy to say "no" to new oppurtunities that come our way, sometimes we need to learn to start saying "yes".

As Chris pointed out, you can really make your own purpose. I, for instance, after breaking up with a girlfriend decided that i wanted to experience raising a family. Then i said to my higher self that i wanted to marry someone for whom it would benefit. Within a year i met my future wife and we now have a beautiful daughter. This experience has benefitted me, but i am hopeful that it benefits the rest of my family as well.

Don Genaro told Castaneda, 'all we are is a feeling'. So i would echo Chris's description of us being here as observers, of ourselves and this life. If one has any sympathy or empathy for others in this life, then understanding our mortality gives everything a bittersweet taste, a love that makes everything more meaningful. To me, anyhow.

If you want suggestions on current life projects, if one could manifest a free energy machine that could easily be assembled from common hardwarestore supplies, that would solve the world's scarcity and pollution issues, imo. Endless energy permits desalination (ie. endless water), no energy pollution, can energize threeD printers, possibly power antigravity craft, allow independent people to live off the grid, etc. I believe that's what Wade Frazier (he has his own thread on Avalon) wants to do.

If you could manifest such a machine you'd have so much to do you wouldnt have time to worry about the meaning of life. :-)

One of the biggest problems imho is that we don't know enough of the bigger picture or the real reasons of why things are the way they are. For example, why is the world run and controlled by people with psychopathic tendencies ? Why do the governments always favor the corporations over the people ? Why why why etc

I think that if the truth of what is really going on could be put out into the global consciousness, that this would have the biggest positive impact on the current reality here. So imho the best thing that someone could do to help the planet would be to work on finding the truth about what is really behind the curtain etc and inform others if they find some of that truth.

If I had more money, and didnt have to work, I'd have a larger plot of land to keep chickens and grow my own veg. I think everyone (if they are lucky to have a garden, could try to grow some kind of food) organic is expensive to keep buying to avoid the GM stuff.

I know this is not everyone's point of view ~ but if we are really serious about love for everyone and animals, then I wish some folk would spend a lot less on fancy big cars. I see quite a few big cars driven by one person only, where that money could go towards helping a poor soul that genuinly needs it. But some people are different...they love their cars, motor racing, never keep an animal (dont like them as they mess up the carpet) at Easter people now stuff themselves full of chocolate, and Christmas they stuff themselves even more till they pop :pop2: this is not helping us to evolve is it?

I also felt the same from the original post lake - the pain and lack of life's purpose for the existence of the soul in this world we live in. I'm sorry for the difficulties that you may be experiencing, I hope you will have more clarity in which path you choose to take, to fulfill your life's purpose in the best possible way.

It seems to me the practical aspects of what we can do to help make the world be better, ie finding ways to purify water, is as important and necessary as the spiritual aspect of raising personal and collective consciousness by realizing the self. Having good balance of both aspects could make the progress faster, but we should keep in mind and always remind ourselves of what's more important is that the selflessness and humbleness to give service for this world and everything that exists in it, including your self.

Personally I'm very interested in the health and wellness of people and everything that supports and strengthens it such as medicine and natural remedies, foods and water, clean and safe environment, exercises and trainings for the mind and body, etc. There can always be improvements made for higher quality.

Having good education system such as one by Rudolf Steiner, and sharing knowledge and personal life experiences is both practical and spiritual as how I see it, and so we are already taking a big step in making changes for the betterment of the world. It's truly a blessing for all of us having access to Project Avalon, we couln't give enough gratitude to our dear founder, Bill.
