BREAKING: All Of Congress Votes To Override Obama’s Veto Of 9/11 Bill
wjC-XgyVLE4
Published on 28 Sep 2016
Video Transcript:
CHAD PERGRAM: The Senate voted 97 to 1 early this afternoon. It went to the House,
the vote there was 348 to 77. You need a two-thirds vote in both bodies and they were
well above that threshold in both bodies here.
President Obama argued this decision to override could be dangerous.
OBAMA: So this is a dangerous precedent and its an example of why sometimes you have
to do what’s hard. And frankly, I wish Congress here had done what’s hard. I didn’t expect
it because if you’re perceived as voting against 9/11 families right before an election, not
surprisingly that’s a hard vote for people take. But it would have been the right thing to do.
This Democrat senator disagrees arguing they closed a loophole established by the courts.
RICHARD BLUMENTHAL: What we’ve done here is provide justice or at least the opportunity
for justice, a day in court to the victims of terrorism and we’ve closed a loophole that was
open by the courts, not by Congress in a decision made by the second circuit court of appeals
that said in effect that foreign state sponsors of terrorism can aid and abet killing Americans
in this country as long as they do it outside our borders. I think that kind of loophole should
be closed. I read the court decisions and the bill and I am satisfied it’s the right thing to do.

US President Barack Obama has said Congress made a "mistake" by overriding his veto and
pushing through a bill that allows legal action against Saudi Arabia over the 9/11 attacks.
He said the bill would set a "dangerous precedent" for individuals around the world to sue
the US government.Wednesday's vote was the first time Mr Obama's veto power was overruled.
CIA Director John Brennan agreed that the bill carried "grave implications" for national security.
He added: "The downside is potentially huge."

This breaks the back of the TPP and TTIP agreements that corporate globalism has been trying to sneak in through the back door.
Those agreements would have allowed corporate control of the globe, with no local, national, or individual response.
This veto creates the pathway for that recourse to emerge, in the form of law and legal precedent. Which is how things work in the US justice system.

What’s Really Behind the Senate’s Override of Obama Veto of Saudi 9/11 Lawsuit Bill?
September 28, 2016 By 21wire
‘While the US media follows the red herring of this legislative drama which is Saudi Arabia,
the real point of this bill – and why President Obama is so vehemently opposing it – is going
completely unnoticed.
If any case was brought to court by 9/11 families to sue Saudi Arabia for ‘state-sponsored terror’
regarding the attacks in New York City on September 11, 2001, the court would find there is no
real forensic case proving Saudi involvement in this event. Other problems will crop up too. For
starters, at least 7 of alleged hijackers were actually found to be alive after their faces were
plastered on US TV screens after 9/11. ‘

US Congress Overrides Obama Veto of 9/11 Bill

Should clarify that a bit Dianamar...with all of the prep required to take down those buildings and all of the people that knew beforehand logic would say it was u.s. based.
There are tons of books and video taking apart moment by moment what happened by very intellegent people of many fields of expertise.
Sacrificing a few thousand lives being a small price to pay for some to have far more control of inhabitants of this planet.
Small airports in northern b.c. now quite often have more people on the ground checking passangers than there are passengers as a result of 911...many more freedoms taken away.
Long overdue this was exposed to the people who still dont belive it.The ironic part being congress may well have tipped the first domino in that direction.

The Saudis are only a piece of the puzzle , there are traitors in
the US that have gotten away so far and many others who are
unaware of the parts they played thru compartmentalisation

Yes mossad and other agencies must have helped knowingly or

are Bin Laden , Saddam , Gaddafi and millions of others who
are all dead , injured , maimed , homeless in war torn Afghanistan
and the Middle east due to the neo -con and others plan for the
new American century project that needed a 'new pearl harbour event'
ie. 9/11 to set all this motion.
This in itself may at least get the mainstream press to get their

follow the money , political agendas and who profited out of
all this . It certainly was not any of the people the government

Congress recently overturned President Obama’s veto of the Justice Against Sponsors of
Terrorism Act (JASTA), which would allow terrorism victims’ families to sue nations
responsible for the attacks. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would likely be one of the countries
hardest hit by this legislation and it is threatening to sell more than $700 billion in US Treasury

If we can sue the Saudis, can we sue Mossad as well?
The precedent this law creates for Americans to sue sovereign governments for terrorism is indeed intriguing.
And dear old Israel sits right in the crosshairs now.
There are a number of well-informed people in high places who have a serious beef with Mossad – Israel’s official terrorist agency. And – even better – they’ve got the evidence. There’s at least one other American death in another case that can be directly linked to Mossad activity.
So Congress’s action represents a rather clever maneuver to bring Zionist terrorist activity to heel. No wonder Obama was forced (by his masters) to veto the bill.
Interesting times, these.

Clearly, those among us who revile everything President Obama does - everything - have, like the members of Congress, fallen victim to the emotional campaign of the victims' families. So quick were they to gleefully take advantage of a perceived victory over "Obummer" that they failed to think through the ramifications of the veto. i.e. Americans overseas will now be subject to the laws of other countries, regardless of their 'immunity' status. They will be imprisoned for whatever charges foreign governments deem appropriate.
Now that emotions have cooled, the Republican leadership is having an "Oh sh*t" moment and are already back tracking on what they did.
Predictably, their go-to defence is to blame Obama for not stopping them. How's THAT for accepting personal responsibility for your mistakes? What part of the word "Veto" did they not understand?
So far, Obama has resisted the impulse to say :" I told you so." although he would have every right to do so. He has more class than that.

The end of the cold war , 9/11 , the middle East , Afghanistan , North Korea ,
China , Ukraine , Russia are all linked and part of the neo -con continuation
of divide and rule , order out of chaos to stay in their eyes in control and
create a 'New World Order' also to benefit Israel , Saudi and other client
states in the disputed geo - political areas. This is mainly thru covert means
with Saudi money and Israeli intelligences and many more assets and allies
led by the Pentagon and the alphabet agencies, using NATO allies and assets
and most importantly al Qaeda ( the data base ) of freedom fighters/terrorists
complied during the Afghan wars against the soviets , Bosnia and other theatres.
This is an age old way of fighting wars usually termed mercenaries , which there
are still many some under the direct pay of the Pentagon and other sovereign states.
There is obviously a lot more detail in what I just wrote , but it leads into
this news item and shows Saudi and others links in the funding of rebels
and terrorist groups in Syria and also shows the type of thing that has
always gone on behind the scenes of these events. Thus to connect to
this thread Saudi probably had a large role with others funding the covert
side of the 9/11 inside job......Don't forget the neo - cons are all backing
Hillary to keep this agenda going.

Donald Trump: Only Explosives Could Have Brought Down World Trade Towers
Major media 'memory hole' regarding US presidential candidate's expert opinion on WTC
By James F. Tracy
Global Research, October 01, 2016
In an interview on September 11, 2001 swaggering-real estate mogul Donald Trump and
present Republican presidential candidate remarked that the World Trade Center Twin
Towers were likely brought down through controlled demolition. This prescient observation
has been intentionally overlooked by major media in the wake of 9/11′s fifteenth anniversary.
Many corporate news outlets chose instead to single out a off-handed comment by Trump
early on in the exchange where he momentarily ‘bragged’ that he ‘owned the tallest building’
in Manhattan next to the WTC– while failing to recognize and highlight his much more
important expert opinion a few moments later concerning the World Trade Center’s fate
alongside those of its inhabitants.

‘The warmongers in the US government have just had their fears realized as Iraq
plans to use the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA), aka Sue the
Saudis Bill, to demand compensation for the US invasion of Iraq.
Last month, the U.S. House of Representatives, following the lead of the Senate,
passed a bill allowing Americans to sue Saudi Arabia over 9/11. When the bill made
it to the President’s desk, however, Obama quickly showed his loyalty to Saudi
Arabia and vetoed it. However, that was only the beginning of the rollercoaster.
Days after his despicable veto, the Senate stepped up and overwhelmingly voted to
override it.’

Haven't seen the final version of this law yet.
Not sure what kind of brilliant strategy it takes to veto something that was unanimously passed.
If it extends towards other countries, and reflexively towards Americans, that sounds pretty fair. Bush and some of the others have immunity from criminal prosecution related to the events, but I don't think that includes civil lawsuits. Even if this results in a lot of out-of-court settlements--which is fairly normal for many suits vs. large entities--it sounds like a progressive twist to the mix. Saudi Arabia is going to "run out of gas" pretty quick as they get deeper into financial woes and pulled apart like a wishbone by Yemen.
