Brave soul is an understatement. He virtually TKO'd that corporate media chimp (my apologies to DNA chimps everywhere) who was trying to steer the interview away from police culpability.

For a chap who suffers with cerebral palsy he sums-up in a very cogent way the situation we currently have in the UK at the present time. The brutality of the police is evident for all to see and I have to agree with him that they (the police) are doing their very best with the now infamous ‘Kettling Routine’ to incite violence - let’s not forget these are our children who are being brutalized not anarchists! … and what they say is true - they are only on the streets in protest because this puppet government patently lied their way into power. IMO it can only get worse from here on in …
Regards to all. JP

.
he is right on - the police was after enraging the crowds into big time violence, so they can be labeled a "serious threat" to law and order...
seems there's no debth to which the police and media wouldn't sink...makes one's blood boil...
peevishness of the presenter is hard to digest...:bad:
poignant address..i bow down to mcintyre.. l

I suggest if you feel as strongly as I do about the interview you should contact the BBC at
https://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/forms/
I believe it was aired on the 13/12/2010 in the evening.
If you are short of ideas what to write you can use this, parapharse what ever:
It is completely unacceptable that the legal right to demonstrate has been wantonly dismissed in the interview with Jody McIntyre.
Ben Brown it seems has words coming though his ear piece. I find it quite offensive to hear how if a police officer is provoked though words or by other means that this could justify a beating.
The right to demonstrate is a legal right of the people of britain, countless gave their lives fighting for this freedom. Who are you to justify taking this right away because someone has shouted something offensive. Ben Brown asks the question " Did you throw something at the police?" implying that this justifies the action of the police. This is completely unacceptable. What happens if your are caught up in a demonstration and people are throwing things, does this justify a kicking or a dragging across the road or being hit and killed like Ian Tomlinson. It is completely unacceptable. The police are a professional body who are trained to deal with taunts and unruly behavior. The reporting aired in this interview are endemic of the BBC. It has to stop. People have lost faith in the BBC.

The situation in the UK will only get worse over the next few months next it will be the water cannons next. Very brave individual.
Slightly off topic but it amazes me how the peers who sit in the House of Lords are millionaires or billionaires they have no experience with politics but are allowed to make decisions that can change laws.Tptb come to mind.
The term peerage derives from the Latin word for equal (par) and to the extent that all peers with seats in the House have tended to be summoned to it irrespective of their relative rank, importance or wealth, the term still has some relevance yeh right see link of how many millionaires are in the cabinet.
The coalition of millionaires: 23 of the 29 member of the new cabinet are worth more than £1m... and the Lib Dems are just as wealthy as the Tories

On one hand in a devils advocate kind of way i am wondering if this is a a big blue touch paper that has been seized upon by the ptb.
I have no doubt that the incident took place as reported and that the police and Jody acted their roles in this without commitment to cause uproar but! The questioning here is so blatantly provocative that it looks like someone has deliberately lit that touch paper and stood back knowing that the incurring explosion will deliberately cause bad feeling.
Its like the people that form the ring around a playground fight that keep pushing the opponents back into each other so they can get stuck in.
I have posted the vid to my facebook page although i feel like i am adding government issued fuel to a government sponsored fire here.

Interestingly this reminds me of a conversation i had with a friend at work a few years ago.
My friend supports Millwall football club ( renowned for their supporters having football riots several years ago although not really now ) .
He and his friend both in their late 40s went to a home game and were policed by a huge number of police in FULL riot gear. At half time he had a perfectly cordial conversation with one officer where he asked about the high police presence. He said that the days of violence had passed years ago and now Millwall was just like any other club in that respect so why the police in full riot gear gear?
The officer responded that they were training for public disorder DUE!, yes due to take place within the next 5 years.

It seems the BBC have had quite a few complaints and rightly so. It has prompted this response from Kevin Bakhurst the controller for the BBC News Channel. It's no apology by any means, the best bit is the comments at the bottom which are scathing for the BBC I would love to know how many complaints they have got.

To all Avalonians, I have just received the following response to my complaint about the interview with Jody McIntyre:
“Dear Mr. Parslow
Thank you for your feedback regarding the BBC News Channel broadcast on 13 December 2010. We appreciate some viewers felt Ben Brown was too challenging during his interview with student tuition fees protestor Jody McIntrye. The Controller for the BBC News Channel Kevin Bakhurst has written a blog in response to these concerns, it can be seen at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditors/2010/12/interview_with_jody_mcintyre.html
Thanks again for taking the time to contact us.
Kind Regards
BBC Audience Services”
Please note; The BBC use the word FEEDBACK not complaint and no apology appears to be forthcoming.
Best regards to all. JP

jody mcintyre who has cerebel plasy was dragged out of his wheel chair and across the street in the recent student protests , here he gives a bbc interview.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXNJ3MZ-AUo&feature=player_embedded#!
what can you say ,it beggars belief.
on the bigger picture the students can protest till the cows come home , wont make a blind bit of difference .just the same with the unions , civil servants , builders , bakers candlestick makers.
why are the goverment making the students pay more , why are people losing thier jobs left right and centre , why are we all having these austerity measures.
is the answer............that goverments across the planet have borrowed money WITH INTEREST ATTATCHED and now their struggling with the payments.................why
if a goverment can print a treasury bond and flog it to a the one who demands the least interest , why cant it print bank notes without interest and put it into the system , say by funding large civil works and infastructure that benifits all.
to be honest im sitting here dumb struck at the madness , until the majority of people wake up...... i will rephrase that .......until the people have a realization of what is actually going on then they are going to continue to protest against their respective goverments without any idea of the fundamental problem.

That video in my opinion shows how the police inflamed the situation.
You can also hear on the audio at the end of the vid a police officer shouting "Get back!" "Get back!" I would not be surprised if that is followed by a baton.
I would like to add when I have been to demos around London if its a big one some of the locals turn up and try and get back at the police for previous gripes this can be perceived as people from the demo. Although there is without doubt agent provocateurs involved in some demo as predicted by the "summer of rage" campaign. Although this never came to fruition. Makes one wonder if the "summer of rage" campaign was to try a get laws though in prediction for all the demos we are now seeing, I think this was the case.

I agree.... don't think police departments around the world are ready for the mass protests that are about to start evolving all over the world (and trust me, it will get here to the US sooner rather then later!!!) and that's where TPTB are ready to implement martial law and throw the military out in the streets. The problem comes in, specially here in the US where almost everybody (and I mean that literally!) own a gun or some sort of weapon and people think that they are ready for whatever goes down and that's the wrong mentality to have.
I can't recall who I heard this from, but this is the way it was said...."See most Americans may own weapons, but how many of them have actually been in battle (War).....and trust me when the 101st Airbone starts come down on you and it's all you can grasp as far as the eye can see and you have the Marines rolling down the street on their humvee's palying loud rap music.....the real question is WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO THEN?"
I think that we as a race can put a stop to all of this peacefully if we just elevate our consciousness above all this hate and separation that we have now on the planet thanks to a small group of people who don't have anything better to do than finding ways on how to keep humanity in it lowest vibrational state and keep us from knowing who we really are.....it's a very sad thing! :(
Take a look at this video from Rome and the riots going on there as well.....it seems as if all Europe is about to start rioting, which correlates with what Rev. Lindsey Williams said on Alex Jones yesterday...see my post here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?9476-Crude-Oil-Price-Targeted-for-150-200-per-Barrel) so you can watch the interview!

Watching this clip it is interesting to see the reaction of two police officers. They literally grab their colleague (the one who was dragging Jody Mcintyre across the street, and then exchanging words obviously inciting a reaction) by the arm and drag and forcefully drag him away.
AlkaMyst

Yes, I agree......isn't that somewhat sickening to see how far the police will go to stop us from protesting. And what really amazes me is how they don't realize that at the end of the day they are civilians just like us and have to go to their homes which is probably in the same communities as those rioting.....I'm telling you, mind manipulation is a very powerful thing!!!

Hello again Sabrina
Thank you very much for the link to this wonderful young man who is intelligent and articulate it gives me faint hope for the future of Britain when we have young people like this prepared to fight for what is right and just. I wonder if he will go into politics; he could be the only good apple in a barrel of totally rotten ones …
Once again I am almost proud to be British but still only almost …

I wish this chap would start his own political party we might then have a party worth voting for instead of years of wasted disenfranchised votes. This is no democracy when there is no political bias left and all parties are run by the PTB. Best regards. JP

David Icke talks about how traffic wardens have been given the powers of the Police force. A traffic warden he knows was given three cards, one explained the powers of being a traffic warden, one was the words you read out when you arrest someone and the other was permission to go into private property with out the owners permission. When the traffic warden asked his boss why he had been given the powers of the police, his boss said because soon we will have to do the work on the police as will security guards, and cctv operators as the police will be busy working with the armed forces, as there is going to be a lot of civil unrest .

You are right I remember reading this on David Icke’s web site some years back - proof if proof were needed that this has been a long time in the planning and the PTB are continuing their agenda.

About two years ago in the UK various agencies sprouted with the sole purpose of collecting a data base of r:petired and ex police officers and ex military, with the task of assigning people roles that the police would no longer be able to do as they would be tied up with public order and rioting. This was to be for last years 'Summer of Rage' which didn't occur but seems to be happening now.
Apparently the data base is about 20,000+, The agencies are still active which indicates they are being subsidised by the government. Because by now as a business they would probably be bankrupt.
Does anyone in the US know if they have a similar system in place?
Apparently the police here are in big financial trouble. They have to make a saving this year of 100 million pounds. No recruiting is taking place, staff are being made redundant and they are trying to force officers into early retirement. So much for paying our council tax all these years with them taking a portion.
Any volounteers to police the olympics?
