Hi All, I saw this a few days ago on TV and was fascinated! Sadly the video is not available in my area of the world, but I will link it here for those who want to view it and who are able to. EDIT: Sent snotty complaint to PBS regarding the restriction, maybe they'll fix this :]

Two of the things I found most fascinating was the explanation of why water appears blue (red makes the hydrogen atoms vibrate and this "sucks up" the red), and how light is converted to sugar in the case of photosynthesis. I never really thought of it that way before... food coming from light. Pretty cool :)
