For me it looks like a vertical sole of something bigger.Imagine the image turned 90 degrees counter clockwise.

possibly but if you notice the perspective and size of the wheel barrel it looks more like a type of protective suit and we are seeing an forward upraised arm and part of the legs...

Based on your perspective,and you could be right because out there anything could be possible,I'll develop a little bit the shape:could be the back of a sort of a chair as somebody sitting on it or what it appears to be a sort of a back protection like a shield or something like that hanged or fixed by the back of that entity.

Looks to me like kind of a buttstock in close proximity to the camera.
