This memorial fund has been setup on behalf of Max Spiers mother Vanessa Bates. I have setup the fund with the full support of Vanessa Bates and have taken on the task of raising this money as I believe it's the right thing to do for my friend Max.
The purpose of this fund is to raise money so that his family can hold a memorial service at the church where Max has been buried in Canterbury, Kent and so that a Headstone can be purchased for Max. Due to family circumstances a funeral service and headstone couldn't be purchased at the time Max was buried and the family would like to hold a memorial service so Max's friends and family can come to pay their respects and say goodbye to Max properly.
Max was loved and will be missed by many so we are giving people the opportunity to donate to this fund to pay for a memorial service and headstone. If you are able to attend the service a date will be set once the fund target has been reached and the headstone has been chosen. As a lot of Max's family were not able to attend his burial this is also an opportunity for them to come and pay their respects as well. Please be respectful to the family as although Max has already been buried they are still in mourning and have no closure at this time as the circumstances of Max's passing is still not clear. This fund has the full backing of his mother Vanessa and all funds will be used to pay for the memorial service and headstone only.
