Oooh, he actually went there, he's advocating going against the great rule of law. They'll consider him "a useful idiot" but I've gotta admire his guts. Matt Damon, go you good thing.

Great words from Matt Damon :star:

*BUT* in the real world I'm afraid the vast majority point blank refuse to accept there is anything seedy going on in the governments...even if the evidence is staring them in the face. The western media propaganda machine is working.

I was slammed by my daughter today because I dared to bring up the subject of the middle east conflict to my brother and his 2 sons. She said "you always do this, you always go and spoil things with your gloom & doom stories" THANK GOD for Avalon! :flower:

Testing IQ of American people (the same can be said of British) those people of a higher IQ are getting fewer, though I am super amazed the Brexit vote got passed.

Good on you Sueanne, I have learned from being both on the receiving and giving ends of these scenarios, that if you have a truth to share, you need to stand firm and not back down.

If we don't stand for something, we'll fall for anything. People will not follow you if you doubt yourself. :)

I appreciate you being here Sueanne47, don't be disheartened we all have had the exact same experience.

More and more people are awakening all the time, (and we have the mandela effect giving people a gentle nudge towards the truth movement).

Sueanne - been there, got the T-shirt :).

Not long after I reached avalon my mother actually had an intervention of sorts for me about all the "conspiracy stuff" I've been reading. This was around the time my wife was pregnant with our first (now 5 years old), and bringing up vaccines with her caused her to go into an emotional rage on how dare I even think about not vaccinating.

Fast forward a few years later - my mom actually watches most of the videos I send her (she loved A&E for 9/11), and my wife has started to question a lot of things and not accept them at face value. She has come around to understanding how dangerous vaccines are, something I didn't think was possible.

My hope for you is that one day you manage to share something in a specific way that will connect with them and pass through their armor of fear/denial.

That's fantastic to hear :) Like I said, we just gotta stand firm about things we know. When my partner doubts herself because others do, I remind her that there was once a time where everybody thought the earth was flat and the centre of the Universe, except for one person.

Thanks Sueanne47, I only have to raise an eyebrow now and I get frowned at by family members :(
My family knows me as that Avalon guy.
I pointed a few things out but got to in-tangled by programmed replays, so I got to emotional abut the negative reaction.
So now I raise an eyebrow or say with a tut 'I can't join in that conversation, :( Which in it's self highlights and or throws up a flag from me!

If it happens with friends and or non-familly members, you can fight to get your point over to them, but family, you best just raise eye brows at a timed point here and there.

Yes, it can be a lonely journey to be passionately aware of what is occurring and the big picture-to know that all is not as it seems, the presented world not the only possible version of reality. Keep the fire burning, don't be silenced by apathy.

There is tension and silence in the house..but I really dont care, they turn a blind eye to the truth by preferring the BBC propaganda. I dont like to say this at all but both of them have a lower IQ!

Its the temper tantrums from both of them that get me wound up the most :blah:

About that Howard Zinn's 1970 speech "The problem is civil obedience" (from here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?65763-Matt-Damon-gives-a-good-speech...) (<---)):

Thanks to Matt and OP for putting it back in circulation :)

This is what I said on the subject well over a year ago..........original thread here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?83192-MATT-DAMON-on-ELITE-NWO-Amazing-Speech-On-This-Evil-World&p=972800&viewfull=1#post972800) (mod's - merge threads?).... and can we use the search function before putting up new threads on old subjects.....please? I typed in Matt Damon speech and once I'd trawled past the results relating to content added over the last few hours (this thread) it was all there along with his MIT speech in June this year.

..... but seems passionate about what he is saying......

He's a top actor. He can do passionate anytime. Howard Zinn (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Zinn) wrote the speech he is reading from.

Kind of like Dave Chappelle getting up in front of a bunch of people and saying, "I have a dream....".

Personally I trust Damon as much as any other Hollywood star. His whole life's probably scripted.

if my brief read/sources are correct even Lady Gaga is questioning her role in life: she stated her original creativity has been stifled as having been a pawn of people using her for their own monetary gain- gosh!- hasn't been the first time...

someone else who was trying to get the word out there about who's controlling this world (John Lennon aside) was...

Michael Jackson

if one is interested do visit the website www.xavianthaze.blogspot.com about how MJ might have faked his own death (article explains possibilities as to "why")-

In that case, agreed, def full of it. Interesting, they want their beloved chaos then, a 'revolution' perhaps. Don't be useful idiots, folks.

I saw this awhile back, and was shocked. All along I thought Matt was so much smarter than that. Oh well...

Damon is an actor. He acts. In this video he is reading from a script the whole time. If he truly believed in what he was saying he would not need a script to say it. And why is it that if an actor says something it carries more weight than when others of "lesser stature" say the same thing? This actor-idle-worship is part of the problem.

Regardless of who put him up to it or not, he is correct. THEY make the laws before they perpetrate the injustices against the people so that they are always legally right. Hitler did that; Obama is doing that. Don't buy their stuff if you can possibly use something else. Outlaw Corporations: I thought Pope Francis did that this time around; perhaps they have wax in their ears.

I have lived in Australia for 14 of the past 20 years, and I can tell you, if you don't know it, that the Tasmanian event that triggered the removal of all guns from Australians was a government staged inside job. The young local man they blamed for the murders was mentally deficient, not a sharp-shooter and didn't look like the shooter whom witnesses described. Yet the media was immediately showing him looking bug-eyed and crazed, with photo-shopped alterations of his face. Martin Bryant, the supposed shooter, never received a trial, but instead was put in solitary confinement for 6 months until he was pressured by family members to "confess" to a crime he didn't commit. This man has been locked away without possibility of parole for a crime he didn't commit, but his service as a patsy for removing guns from the Australian population will forever be a stain on that country's history. So please don't be fooled by the "example" of Australia in the gun debate.

was originally aimed at american gun control as well , cllinton( bill) was over here at the time , there was a ferry load of us senior citizens that was due to arrive half hour earlier , someones plans were botched , threw everything else out of whack ,hence the various holes in the official version of events

been researching that one for a while , was also hints the blackhawk "training exercise accident " involving collision of sas in townsville were also ones who knew what really went on and were getting ready to blow the whistle

bluestflame: If you get more information about the Port Arthur massacre, please send me a private message regarding any new developments as I don't look at the Avalon Forum posts that often and don't want to miss anything happening around that event. I especially want to know if Martin Bryant will be given a fair trial at this late date. .
