WikiLeaks releases more than half a million US diplomatic cables from the momentous year of 1979
By Julian Assange
Today, 28 November 2016, marking the six-year anniversary of "Cablegate",
WikiLeaks expands its Public Library of US Diplomacy (PLUSD) with more than half
a million (531,525) diplomatic cables from 1979.
If any year could be said to be the "year zero" of our modern era, 1979 is it.
In the Middle East, the Iranian revolution, the Saudi Islamic uprising and the Egypt-
Israel Camp David Accords led not only to the present regional power dynamic but
decisively changed the relationship between oil, militant Islam and the world.
The uprising at Mecca permanently shifted Saudi Arabia towards Wahhabism,
leading to the transnational spread of Islamic fundamentalism and the US-Saudi
destabilisation of Afghanistan.
Osama bin Laden would leave his native Saudi Arabia for Pakistan to support the
Afghan Mujahideen.
The invasion of Afghanistan by the USSR would see Saudi Arabia and the CIA push
billions of dollars to Mujahideen fighters as part of Operation Cyclone, fomenting
the rise of al-Qaeda and the eventual collapse of the Soviet Union.
The 1979 current of Islamification spread to Pakistan where the US embassy was
burned to the ground and Pakistan Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was executed.
The Iranian hostage crisis would go on to fatally undermine Jimmy Carter's
presidency and see the election of Ronald Reagan.
Saddam Hussein? Took power in 1979.
The rise of al-Qaeda eventually bore the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United
States, enabling the US invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq and over a decade of war,
leaving, at its end, the ideological, financial and geographic basis for ISIS.
The Iranian revolution and Saddam Hussein's rise to power and the subsequent
Iran-Iraq War would connect with the 1979 Sandinista revolution in Nicaragua to
produce the Iran-Contra affair and the indictment of 12 US administration officials
including Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger.
Elsewhere, Thatcher won in the UK, Rhodesia became Zimbabwe, Idi Amin fled
Uganda and the ANC made the decision to militarily resist Apartheid.
In the United States, the Three Mile Island nuclear incident led to a turning away
from the construction and development of new nuclear reactors, increasing the
reliance on oil and coal for decades.
While the 1979 SALT II agreements made some progress in reducing the risk of
nuclear war, nuclear preparations and testing were stepped up elsewhere. The US
decided to place Pershing and Cruise missiles in Europe and a South African/Israeli
nuclear test was detected by US early warning satellites.
China officially came in from the cold and Deng Xiaoping visited the United States
in a defining strategic re-orientation by both states.
In 1979 it seemed as if the blood would never stop. Dozens of countries saw
assassinations, coups, revolts, bombings, political kidnappings and wars of
liberation.
In the extremes and contestations of the Cold War, 1979 saw some grim culture to
go with the times: ACDC produced “Highway to Hell”, Francis Ford Coppola gave us
Apocalypse Now, while for Pink Floyd it was just “Another Brick in the Wall”.
The Carter Cables III bring WikiLeaks' total published US diplomatic cable collection
to 3.3 million documents.
What follows are some example areas of events from 1979 covered in the new documents.
January
1 US and China resume diplomatic relations
7 Pol Pot deposed following Vietnam's invasion of Cambodia
16 Shah flees Iran
28 China's leader Deng Xiaoping visits US

I'm still not convinced.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOpPWIcAf_A#t=65I'm still not convinced.
These points people are making as proof he's the real Assange are as lame as the proof a gun attack is by ISIS just because the guy yells allahu akbar before pulling trigger.
Here's the thing ( as Catherine Austin Fitts would say ), If he's fake he's going to want to convince us wikileaks is still under Assange control, and the guy claiming to be a wikileaks team member who said it's been taken over and "do not send leaks" etc etc..., is the faker on the other side of things. If he's real, he would very much want to prove that that is not true and would do something simple like appear at a window to show us he's still ok.
What we have is a person who just rambles on and on limpishly trying to sound like Assange and keeping the ball rolling as if "nothing to see here, move along".
I'll say here with great confidence, that Assange would be well on top of this situation and straighten it out in no time, if he was still in the Embassy and still un compromised etc.
No, no, no, I'm not buying it at all.
And anyway, Assange told us he'd be continuing to release emails etc all the way through to the end of the year. As far as I know, the stream of leaks dried up a couple of weeks ago. At least, the ones relating to the Clintons did.
Far too fishy for me. And he doesn't pronounce all his words the way Assange does. He's obviously been studying the role very well though.
I'm not saying he's dead or even been captured by the bad guys. He could be under protection of the white hats, for all I know. I'm just saying we are being fooled, again.

I'm still not convinced.
Well as I said in a previous post we have still not had visual real time proof or
the 'silver bullet'.So its valid to query , why one of his supper guests does not do
a 'selfie' or little vid on their phone ? is frustrating.
If there was something wrong I would of thought John Pilger would of been

Julian Assange: Ecuador says no 'quick way out' of embassy impasse
Tuesday 29 November 2016 00.52 GMT
Ecuadorean prosecutor says standoff ‘attributable to Swedish prosecutors’ as
transcript is prepared of evidence given in London interview
The WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has no “quick way out” of the Ecuadorean
embassy in London where he took refuge more than four years ago, Ecuador’s
prosecutor has said.An Ecuadorean state attorney accompanied by a Swedish
prosecutor questioned Assange at the embassy on 14 November over allegations
that he committed rape in Sweden in 2010.
Ecuador’s prosecutor, Galo Chiriboga, said Ecuadorean officials would send the
official transcript of Assange’s evidence to Swedish authorities “in mid-December”.
Assange, who is Australian, has said he fears deportation to Sweden and the United
States, where he could be charged for the publication of hundreds of thousands of
secret US diplomatic cables.Julian Assange faces Swedish prosecutor in London
over rape accusation
“Four years have passed and we are only at this stage, but that is no longer
attributable to Ecuador, it is attributable to Swedish prosecutors. I do not think
there is a quick way out,” Chiriboga said.Assange, who has denied the rape
charges, is also wanted by British authorities for violating the conditions of his
house arrest, which he fled to seek refuge at the embassy.
Ecuador’s foreign minister, Guillaume Long, has said Assange should receive
guarantees that he will not be extradited if he faces justice in Sweden.A DNA
sample had been taken by British police from Assange at the embassy for Swedish
prosecutors to use in their investigation against him, Chiriboga said.“Therefore
Sweden will now have to request that DNA sample from the British police,” the
prosecutor said.

The CIA have taken over Wikileaks main sites and twitter accounts. We have
pictures of the take down by the CIA. It has been confirmed by activists who
witnessed this. Black ops team stormed the embassy last month took away a man
with a black hood over his head.
We know Julian was taken by black ops team that was witnessed.
We know people in Wikileaks had their phones and computers seized and were
threatened.
We know Wikileaks twitter and its accounts Free Assange Wikileaks Task-force are
compromised, taken over by the CIA.
We know Julian is not in the embassy anymore, and we know Embassy cat is still
there, and there is no way Julian would leave is beloved cat behind if he left on his
own free will.
We know Julian could have easily done a video to proof he is safe and not taken,
that never happened.
We know that the last video last month was not proof of life, it was not even Julian.
We know that Obama had now classed Julian Assange and Wikileaks organization
as a terrorist organization, wanted dead or alive. That announcement was made
approx 3 weeks ago by Obama. We have the video. That would give the CIA the
power to take Julian from embassy. Our source is special OP's expert in bitcoin and
encryption. Was also tortured by the CIA for 6 days.
We have spoken to other special forces and ex special forces who we personally
know, they have all told us the same thing. CIA would have tortured Julian to
comply with them. The pod cast by audio only clearly shows this. He could not
provide a video as he has been taken by the CIA. All of our intell we have gathered
from the October 2016 when the dead mans switch was activated and since
communications sent alarm bells through our network that Julian had been taken
and Wikileaks had been compromised which has now been confirmed.
Twitter messages and abuse from FreeAssange account which we are told is
compromised. This account also runs Wikileaks and The Wikileaks taskforce
accounts. There are 4 pages of tweets and we have a hell of a lot more. For those
who don't know and it seems there are quite a few. Julian admitted in a media
interview with RT media which is on youtube that all of the emails - data dump on
Clinton - Podesta - Soros - Pizza gate - Gov came from Anon hacktivists. Without
Anon Wikileaks would have nothing. Data given to Wikileaks for FREE which they
have been charging to publish. It has been reported more than once that Wikileaks
are being paid to publish. By who we do not know. We have words from Edward
Snowden also confirming they are being paid to publish and are not publishing all
the data given to them. The data was given to Wikileaks for free which they are
now charging to publish . It was highly suspicious as well that more than one
person in this thread after standing up to the Free Assange Wikileaks account were
immediately locked out of their accounts, more than once.

This is a better quality recording....Aprox 3 mins in the interviewer asks Julian
about Fidel Castro and he says he believes he has just died....The phone line
is still not ideal but it sounds like Julian imo. Of course vids can be 'faked'
but it does not feel like it to me, we will have to wait a little longer for a visual
it seems. He does confirm that the CIA has not taken over Wiki and other topics.

I cleaned up and clarified the audio as well as I could and cut out the audio drop outs.
If a better version appears, I'll work on editing it for best clarity.
Assange doesn't talk like that, I mean energetically. He doesn't drop words in the way this speaker does either. I think it's an impersonator. I've listened to hundreds of clips of Assange and this feels like a different person. For one thing Assange says "to" this guy says "Ter" a lot.
I say fake.
edit:
I suppose the best way to describe how I feel he's different is to say that it feels like I'm listening to a guy with about 15 points lower IQ than that of the real Assange.
That can be due to increased stress. I can attest to this because I talk the same way Assange does, and when I get stressed, that mannerism increases.

‘The United Nations has rejected a UK appeal against its previous ruling in favor
of Julian Assange as “inadmissible,” thus requiring both London and Stockholm
to end the WikiLeaks founder’s “arbitrary detention.”
Earlier this year, a case was concluded at the UN, in which the body instructed
the UK and Sweden to take immediate steps to ensure the WikiLeaks founder’s
liberty, protection and enjoyment of fundamental human rights.
The UK has appealed the ruling twice, with the UN rejecting its second appeal
on Wednesday by pronouncing it “not admissible,” Justice for Assange reported,
adding that the decision marks the end to London’s “attempt to overturn the ruling.”‘

The 6th anniversary of Julians detainment is coming up on Dec 7th , maybe
something will happen then ? But since the US election is over all bar the

As i see the situation right now ( I could be proven wrong - and I've already googled Crow recipes ), wikileaks has been hijacked. I emphasis hijacked. It's not simply that Assange has been arrested and or silenced.
If it was simply an open arrest scenario they would not have gone to such lengths as all this faking and coverup of the fact he's gone.
No, there's a lot more to it than shutting him up. THEY want to use the brand for their own purposes for as long as they can get away with it. As that's not likely to be for very long, I suggest they have extremely short term and devastating plans. Watch this space.
edit:
A lot of people have been expecting them to use Trump as an excuse to crash the global economy, blame him not themselves. I've been one of them.
What if they use Wikileaks to crash the global economy instead? It's a perfect setup for them. They can spin it for miles and miles of good excuses to nail down the internet.

WikiLeaks chief Julian Assange has released his full testimony to Swedish prosecutors for the first time, saying he is ‘entirely innocent’ regarding sexual assault claims. He has spent four years inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London to avoid arrest.
It is the first time he has gone public with his version of events surrounding the rape allegation for which he was first arrested in 2010.
His statement includes detailed accounts of what he calls “consensual and enjoyable” sex with a woman known as ‘SW,’ which he says occurred four or five times.
Assange says text messages between him and SW prove the sex was consensual.

“I… could not believe my eyes when five days later I saw a headline in a Swedish tabloid that I was suspected of a crime and arrested in my absence. I immediately made myself available to Swedish authorities to clarify any questions that might exist, even though I had no obligation to do so.”
In his 19-page statement, Assange says he has been subjected to “six years of unlawful, politicized detention without charge.”
He says he has been subjected to “cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment” and denied effective legal representation in the process.
“I want people to know the truth about how abusive this process has been,” he said.
“Furthermore, in the past the prosecution has fed partial information to tabloids that politically oppose me.
“It is better that my statement, which I am happy with, and which it makes it obvious to all that I am innocent, sees the light in full.”
Assange is accused of initiating sex with SW while she was asleep. Under Swedish law, this constitutes rape. Assange says he has a text message sent by SW showing this did not happen.
The text messages include:
On August 14, 2010, SW wrote to a friend: “I want him, I want him.”
On August 17, she wrote to a friend that the pair had long foreplay, but nothing happened. She later wrote that after sex had occurred, that it “turned out alright” other than the pregnancy and STD risk.
On August 20, SW, while at the police station, wrote that she “did not want to put any charges on Julian Assange,” but that the police were “keen on getting their hands on him.”
On August 21, she wrote that she “did not want to accuse” Assange “for anything. And that it was the “police who made by the charges.”
In his statement, Assange says his interview process with police in November was “simply a ruse to tick a box to ensure the technical possibility to indict me, irrespective of how I answer any questions.”
He says he tried to give a statement to Swedish prosecutors for six years via various means, including in Sweden before he left, in London via video link or in an embassy, or back in Sweden if he was given a guarantee he would not be extradited to the US, where he fears prosecution on an espionage-related charge.

The US sent a “planeload of FBI agents” to Iceland in 2011 to frame WikiLeaks and its co-founder Julian Assange, according to a former Icelandic minister of interior, who refused them any cooperation and asked them to cease their activities.
In June 2011, Obama administration implied to Iceland's authorities they had knowledge of hackers wanting to destroy software systems in the country, and offered help, then-Interior Minister Ogmundur Jonasson, said in an interview (http://www.katoikos.eu/interview/icelandic-minister-who-refused-cooperation-with-the-fbi-ogmundur-jonasson-in-an-interview.html) with the Katoikos publication.
However, Jonasson said he instantly became “suspicious” of the US good intentions, “well aware that a helping hand might easily become a manipulating hand.”
Later in the summer 2011, the US “sent a planeload of FBI agents to Iceland seeking our cooperation in what I understood as an operation set up to frame Julian Assange and WikiLeaks,” Jonasson said.
Icelanders seemed like a tough nut to crack, though.
“Since they had not been authorized by the Icelandic authorities to carry out police work in Iceland and since a crack-down on WikiLeaks was not on my agenda, to say the least, I ordered that all cooperation with them be promptly terminated and I also made it clear that they should cease all activities in Iceland immediately,” the politician said.
So the US were told to leave, and moreover, the politician made things quite clear for them.
“If I had to take sides with either WikiLeaks or the FBI or CIA, I would have no difficulty in choosing: I would be on the side of WikiLeaks,” he said.
Jónasson went on to discuss other whistleblowers like Edward Snowden: the Althing, the Icelandic parliament, debated whether Snowden should have been granted citizenship, but “there hasn't been political consensus” on the matter.
“Iceland is part of NATO and such a decision would be strongly objected to by the US,” Jonasson said.
Both whistleblowers have spent several years under protection: Assange has been staying in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for about four years, while Snowden was granted asylum in Russia in 2013, and he is still staying at an undisclosed location there.

I believe Eric's timeline-facts are more accurate than any of the many videos, seemingly full of rumors & speculation, I've listened to in last few weeks. Please have a listen / post and let's all keep HERO Assange in our prayers. Thanks Mr. F..

The interview with his mother last week sounded genuine. She didn't say whether he was in the Embassy or not but she managed to convince me she had at least spoken to him somewhere.

Looks like whoever has taken over wikileaks is going to use it to instigate the economic collapse ( having read the above post by CiderS ).
Meanwhile, here's something to think about. I'm not saying I believe everything or even the main point made here, but it's at least work-in-progress instead of blatant ignorance. (I removed the video for brevity)
Thanks for posting this norman. I don't agree with his main point, but like you, I feel that at least he's trying to get to the bottom of all this.
His main point is that there is technology out there that can simulate both the voice and facial movements of anyone, for any purpose. So ergo, Julian Assange must be a VR or AI asset of some dark agency and not a real person at all. He says that because Assange has not simply posted or tweeted a picture of himself with an up to date newspaper and given us proof of life, that he is in fact not real and all his previous work was merely as a sock puppet to some formentioned nefarious group.
Yes those techs exist and no doubt are being improved opon as I type, but by this logic, it would be so easy for them to prove proof of life with some of their digital magic, yet they have not, yet they don't, which implies that the logic is flawed. By his absence many are growing to doubt the authentic and unbiased nature of his site and will question the truthfulness of future data dumps without some sort of proof of life. Given this untenable situation his handlers or digital masters would have stepped in before now, yet they haven't, which implies that not only is he real but he is also missing...
The fact that his site and twitter feed are running smoothly and his team, so called, are not pushing for any proof of life, as well as a media blackout from the embassy seems to contradict all of the above, so one can conclude that he is not only missing but his life's work has been compromised..
So who could be the instigators of such a crime? Which group could form a concensus of silence between such disperate groups as the UK authorities and metropolitan police, the Ecuador authorities and Embassy staff, his Team or network so called, as well as media groups promoting his latest "news" and women purporting to be his mother claiming to have spoken to him recently....? No small thing.
If he is still alive, i do hope that he's still alive, I wish him strength and compassion against his foes on his quest. If he's not, then his life and quest must not go forgotten, for many he is or was a Robin Hood, Guy Falks or Morpheus of our time...
Don't they say that people are in our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime? So perhaps we could say:
I can see of no reason why the Julian season should ever be forgot.. Or
I can see of no reason why the Julian treason should ever be forgot......x..... N

I became concerned as time passed. Until the Hannity interview there was no proof of life but that does sound like Assange and he did talk about Trump winning the election, so that's eased my concerns. But a few oddities remain, so I won't be convinced until we see him out on that balcony again or he releases a video of him as proof of life, directly addressing this issue.

Also, judge Napolitano has known Trump for many years and owns a property that Trump manages.
Napolitano has been perhaps the most credible voice for Freedom and Natural Law for the past
20 -30 years. It would not surprise me if Trump may have something to do with Hannity flying to
London to interview Assange! Assange hates Hillary with a passion and he is the only person in the
world that knows how the emails were leaked! Napolitano, Hannity, Assange are all of the opinion
that Russia had nothing to do with the hacking and it very well may have been done by the NSA or
FBI. Trump knows exactly what is going on and he will not be intimidated by anyone at the point!
Not only has the Media lost all credibility, the intel agencies and members of Congress are lost as well.

WikiLeaks has promised 2017 will be an even bigger year for leaks than 2016, which saw the whistleblowing site publish thousands of documents exposing US political secrets, covert trade deals and private communications from global leaders.
“If you thought 2016 was a big WikiLeaks year, 2017 will blow you away,” WikiLeaks tweeted on Monday, giving no hints as to what may be in store.
The tweet also included a link to its website’s donation page so people can help the site “prepare for the showdown.”
It proved a very busy 2016 for the whistleblowing site, as it delivered a massive trove of documents over the 12-month period.
This included more than 50,000 emails from Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair John (https://www.rt.com/usa/362496-wikileaks-podesta-emails-four/)Podesta (https://www.rt.com/usa/364959-clinton-podesta-emails-wikileaks/) and more than 27,000 emails from the Democratic National Committee, which confirmed (https://www.rt.com/usa/352752-dnc-leaks-clinton-collusion/) the DNC worked against Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, favoring (https://www.rt.com/usa/353031-sanders-wasserman-schultz-resignation/) Clinton.
More US State Department cables (https://www.rt.com/usa/368438-wikileaks-release-1979-cables/) were released, as well as documents which gave an insight into the US arming of Yemen (https://www.rt.com/usa/368205-yemen-us-military-wikileaks/). Text from the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP (https://wikileaks.org/ttip/)) and Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA (https://wikileaks.org/tisa/)) was also revealed.
The emails relating to the US election rocked the Democratic establishment and delivered a blow to the Clinton campaign in the lead-up to the November election.
WikiLeaks also confirmed that founder Julian Assange will take part in a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) on Thursday at 14:00 GMT (9am EST). The tweet announcing the AMA contained the hashtag ‘proofoflife’, presumably referencing concerns raised by some for the WikiLeaks editor’s wellbeing.

the DNC or John Podesta, and neither was a state party. Assange, who is confined to
the Ecuadorean embassy in London due to a warrant for sexual assault in Sweden, was
asked if President Barack Obama was lying when claiming Rushuaans were behind the
hacks since Assange is saying Rushua wasn’t involved. “Well, he is acting like a lawyer,
” he noted. “If you look at most of his statements he doesn’t say that. He doesn’t say
WikiLeaks obtained its information from Rushua, worked with Rushua.” Later on, when
describing why Obama had a dramatic response to Rushua via sanctions, Assange says
he is “trying to delegitimize the Trump Administration as it goes into the White House.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange came forward after a long period of silence for a video interview (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/01/03/assange-russian-government-not-source-wikileaks-emails.html) with Fox News' Sean Hannity — in particular, to decimate claims leaked emails from the Democratic establishment had been hacked and provided by Russian government actors.
"The narrative has begun that, in fact, the U.S. government is accusing Wikileaks of having received materials from Russia and Russia's cybercriminals with the political agenda of influencing the election. And obviously they're talking, not just about the John Podesta emails, the DNC emails, but in other ways. I've asked you before, I'll ask you again today — did Russia give you this information, or anybody associated with Russia?" Hannity asked (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUlj4U4kCBI).
"Our source is not a State party," Assange told Hannity, once again confirming assertions he and Wikileaks have made on previous occasions. "So, the answer for our interactions is 'no.'"
Continuing, he explained the political establishment has attempted to distract from the revelations in the leaked documents — which exposed the true words of Clinton and others in her campaign,
"And the American public read that information, true information, and said, 'We don't like these people.' And then voted accordingly."
Rather than acknowledge the breadth of corruption and behind-the-curtains nastiness on display in the documents, the establishment has attempted to conflate Wikileaks with Russians hacking the election — an accusation Assange explained amounted to bait-and-switch, as,
"Even Obama has had to admit that there was no hacking of U.S. voting machines."
"But ... the main focus for most Americans is that, they are being told by Hillary Clinton's campaign, by the President of the United States, there are the Department of Homeland Security, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, et cetera, that in fact," Hannity asked, "that Wikileaks was working with the Russian government to influence the election. Is that true in any way, shape, matter, or form?"
"No, it is absolutely false," Assange replied, "and, if you read their statements carefully, you'll see they don't actually say that. They kind of mention one fact here, and one fact there, and nothing else.
"In the most up-to-date information, the twenty-ninth of December, where the FBI, DHS, White House, et cetera, made a statement, what is completely absent — from all those statements — is Wikileaks. Totally absent. So, what's going on?
"I believe two things are going on. Number one, they don't have the evidence that Wikileaks is involved in that way. Now, why am I confident about that? Because there is one person in the world — and I think it's actually only one — who knows exactly what is going on with our publications. And that's me."
Asked whether he could state "unequivocally" the information published by Wikileaks did not come from any person associated in any way with the Russian government, Assange stated,
"We can say, and we have said repeatedly over the last few months, our source is not the Russian government, and it is not a State party."
Again refusing to comment on the clarifying details concerning the source of documents leaked to the publishing organization, Assange emphasized that — although he could not confirm or deny reports from close friend and former British intelligence agent, Craig Murray the leaker came from within the Democratic establishment — "our sources are not a State party."
Hannity then directly requested clarification for several accusations bandied about by the United States political establishment, asking if Assange had ever conversed with Russian President Vladimir Putin, to which he replied flatly, "No."
"Have you ever talked to any of his surrogates?" the host continued.
"No."
"Have you ever talked to Donald Trump?" Hannity asked, addressing suspicions Wikileaks had acted on behalf of the billionaire businessman's campaign.
"No."
"Any of his surrogates?"
"No."
"Not one?" Hannity prodded.
"No," Assange firmly responded.
"There was some report you might have talked to someone who was not associated with the campaign, Roger Stone?"
"No. That's false."
Claiming The Russians hacked anything has been largely a creation of the corporate press and politicians, and, as he explains, Obama is "acting like a lawyer," and "If you look at most of his statements, he doesn't say that. He doesn't say that WikiLeaks obtained its information from Russia, or worked with Russia."
Addressing one of the most frequently touted ideas that leaked documents influenced the election in order to sway the election for Donald Trump, Assange noted it would be impossible to tell for sure, but,
"If it did, the accusation is that the true statements of Hillary Clinton and her campaign manager, John Podesta, and the DNC head, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz — their true statements is what changed the election."
Discussing millions of documents hacked by the Chinese, about which the aforementioned parties and the Obama administration have selectively chosen not to focus, Hannity asked whether Assange felt the move was intended to "delegitimize Donald Trump — what's your interpretation of that?"
Assange explained, "It is exactly what it is designed to do ... If you look at what the allegations are, they don't mention Wikileaks, for the 29th, they don't mention our publications. Our publications had wide uptake by the American people. They're all true. But that's not the allegation that's been presented by the Obama White House. So, why such a dramatic response? Well, the reason is obvious: they're trying to delegitimize the Trump administration as it goes into the White House. They're going to try — they are trying to say that President-elect Trump is not a legitimate" president.
The Wikileaks head went on to explain the Democratic Party continues to attempt "short term wins" in such criticisms, while ignoring the factual substance of leaked documents — and the American people "want as much true information as possible."
Wikileaks has been vilified for not releasing documents pertaining to Trump or his campaign — but, as Assange has repeatedly contended, no such documents were provided to the publisher.
"If the information you had was about Donald Trump and his campaign," Hannity asked, "would you have equally released that?"
"Yes," Assange responded without hesitation. "Absolutely."
Murray, Assange's associate — and former intelligence officials entirely unassociated with Wikileaks — have suggested the documents were leaked by a disgruntled party inside the Democratic establishment. On that topic, after Assange noted the perfect record Wikileaks has maintained in regard to authenticity of documents and refusal to expose the identity of sources, Hannity asked, since the leaker was not Russian,
"Can I ask ... take it one step further. Can you say that the source was within the United States?"
After a frustrated pause, Assange replied, "I don't want to constrain whether it was someone inside the United States, in the DNC, in the service providers that provide for the DNC, or outside, et cetera. I think that we have already pushed it quite a lot ... more than we would like, by saying it was not a State party."
But speaking out with that qualification had been a necessity as "there was a serious attempt to distract from the content of our publications with this Russian narrative."
On the joint report from DHS and the FBI, Assange noted the tools provided as loose evidence of Russian hacking are commercially available — to anyone — and nothing laid out by the agencies evinced solid proof.
Additionally, Podesta's careless choice of "password" for his password, and his staff's erroneous assertion the infamous phishing email he received was legitimate, Assange said,
"This is something a fourteen-year-old kid — a fourteen-year-old kid — could have hacked Podesta that way."
On the topic of corporate media's lack of coverage of the content of the leaked documents — and exposed collusion with the Clinton campaign — Assange described the American mainstream press as "ethically corrupt."
Despite allegations Assange and his organization had been somehow motivated to influence the election in favor of Trump, he noted,
"My motivation, for twenty years — ten years with Wikileaks — is to publish true information that is otherwise unassailable."
Emphasizing he has no party political agenda, he added,
"We believe that the best type of government comes from a government that is scrutinized by the people, when they have true information about how governments and major corporations, other power actors in society, are behaving."
Assange has been confined for years in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London under threat of extradition to the United States — effectively making him a political prisoner. But vociferous anti-Russia rhetoric and allegations Russian hackers provided documents to Wikileaks forced Assange to come forward — first in an interview on Hannity's radio program, and then this face-to-face interview — to call out the claims as hollow and baseless.
Although mainstream media has parroted these allegations against Russia, perhaps hearing Assange's words in this rare appearance will help quiet the new Red Scare propaganda — and bring logic and common sense back to the table.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s recently told Fox News that a teenager could have
hacked John Podesta’s emails, and that Russia was not the source of the leaked emails.
RT America’s Manila Chan is joined by former CIA analyst, Ray McGovern, to unpack
the interview, to discuss President-elect Donald Trump’s public sympathy for Assange,
and the incredible disparity between the mainstream media’s narrative in the US and
all evidence to the contrary.

WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange criticized the ODNI report describing it as 'quite embarrassing to the reputations of the US intelligence services.'
RT reports on Assange's comments:
8ERte9Z30yY
Wikileaks held a press conference streamed live over Periscope:
Planet Free Will (http://planetfreewill.com/2017/01/09/13162/) summarizes what was asked to Assange and what was answered, during the live stream and afterwards during a twitter Q&A:
Julian Assange slammed the recent report (https://www.dni.gov/files/documents/ICA_2017_01.pdf) as a "press release", stating that only about five pages of the report could be considered substantial content.
"The real question is whether the Russians hacked the Democratic party with the intention of favoring Donald Trump," Said Assange [Paraphrase]. "Even if you accept that Russia hackers were involved, even if no evidence was presented in the report, what was the intent of those Russian attacks and do they connect to Wikileaks."
Assange went on to confirm once again that the DNC emails and the Podesta emails were not provided by state actors.
He accuses that the report "deliberately obscures" the timeline of the email leak in regard to the timeframe in which Donald Trump became a serious contender for President. He notes that DNI director James Clapper himself has confirmed that the intelligence community does not know when Wikileaks obtained any of the emails.
Assange also took issue with the conflation of direct vote hacking and the possibility of information which caused a change in public opinion. He asserts that Donna Brazile and other DNC and Hillary campaign officials lied to the public by stating that the emails were "fake" and noted Wikileaks' ten year accuracy record.
The conference then moved on to answering questions from the Twitter hashtag.
"On a scale of one to ten, how fabricated was the CIA report?" Assange states that this is an interesting question, since by nature of the report, there is very little accusatory information and most of the content is speculative.
"Your whole premise has been that you don't know sources and therefore can't endanger them. Now you say you don't know your source." Assange denies that this statement was made, and asserted that the source is not a state party. He clarifies that Wikileaks treats their source information with care and wants to keep that record. He says that depending on the case, they can give more or less information without compromising their safety.
"Is Wikileaks sure that the go-between didn't get the information from the Russians or a private hacking group on order from the Russians?" Assange stated that "we can't play 20 questions with sources, for obvious reasons."
In regards to many questions about "proof of life", Assange states that it has been a difficult time for him with pressure from many sides, and that he will address the proof of life issue in a Reddit AMA tomorrow morning.
"What is the most important thing we can do before Obama leaves office?" Assange states his level of concern with destruction of records across agencies, and states that both Democrat and Republican governments have been guilty of destroying vital information. He asserts that destroying historical documents is a crime against humanity and our shared history. He asks whistleblowers to get ahold of data now and protect it.
"Julian, how are you doing? How is your health? How much longer will you survive in the embassy?" Assange states that "It's a difficult environment to be in for six years without trial," and that "On the other hand, I am committed to this work and it gives me energy to continue."
"What would you say to people who see Wikileaks' recent activity as an open endorsement of trump?" Assange states that before the election, he released an editorial (presumably this one (https://wikileaks.org/Assange-Statement-on-the-US-Election.html)) on behalf of Wikileaks which answered some of these concerns. He admits they all assumed Hillary was going to win, and goes on to explain that the conflict was mainly against the elite power class. He also asserts that he has concerns about Trump's administration and calls many of his cabinet choices "poor" with "some interesting ones". Trump will "loosen up" DC, he says - both positively and negatively.
"Do you think the intelligence report released by the CIA undermines the leak, or is this just growing pains of a major leak like this?" Assange states that Wikileaks like any publisher likes the attention on their materials, and the fact that the DNI report concluded the veracity and accuracy of their documents adds weight to the strength of the leaks. He states the content was what had the biggest impact.
"Is there a future for the FOIA in the present 'fake news' attack on the press and freedom of speech?" Assange calls the Freedom of Information Act a "formalized leak system" and states that there is a "hoover dam of information" that is being withheld due to Wikileaks being under investigation by the DOJ.
"Why don't you explain why it would be hard for Russia to hack the votes. Explain the security, and how easy it would be." Assange states that the media has put out a lot of misinformation leading people to believe the vote machines and vote counting infrastructure were breached. Though Assange criticizes electronic voting as not secure, he also states that the intelligence community has stated that this sort of hack did not occur.
"Why is there more focus on those who exposed the corruption instead of on the offenders?" Assange specifically notes Fox as one of the few mainstream outlets who actually covered the content - but gives the initial credit to the citizen journalists who found the most important information that was picked up later by broader media.
"Is there any truth to the rumour that Wikileaks had access to rnc data and chose not to leak?" "No, that's false. Absolutely false."
"How do you feel about trump cabinet picks that called for the death penalty for Wikileaks whistleblowers?" Assange states that many Republicans and Republican supporters were opportunists, but they were also mislead by the media and specifically the Obama administration that the Wikileaks releases led to the deaths of US soldiers. Assange states that this was proven to be false.
"Why do you think the US media is receiving intelligence before President Elect Trump?" Assange states that this was a strategic move to ensure the American public was only receiving one narrative, and to make it more difficult for Donald Trump and Wikileaks to respond to the allegations. He states that had they released it on a Friday afternoon themselves, it wouldn't have had the same effect. Particularly since by releasing it on a Thursday afternoon, including some classified information that was not later released to the public, they were able to further their own narrative. He slams the report once again stating that "This report is not really about facts, it's about producing something that is not falsifiable and is intellectually bankrupt."
"Do you believe whistleblowers will be safer in the upcoming administration, or will they continue to be persecuted?" Assange states that he believes they will continue to be persecuted, and that though there are some anti-DC elements of the upcoming administration, Trump will form his own establishment.
"No system of authority likes those who undermine it's authority." Said Assange.

As Americans Freaked Over Russian Fake News, FBI Quietly Released New Clinton Investigation Docs

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released a new batch of documents cataloging the investigation of Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton. The documents were released Sunday on the bureau’s website, which has a page dedicated to the investigation of Hillary Clinton. WikiLeaks called attention to the release on their Twitter account with a link to a web archive listing showing the updated page. The FBI did not make an announcement related to the release.
FBI quietly releases new Hillary Clinton investigation documents (part 5) [as yet, no announcement] https://t.co/lmyWF5rA8H
— WikiLeaks (@wikileaks) January 9, 2017
The lack of comment by FBI officials has generated more questions than answers about the scale of the investigation into Clinton. The file is 299 pages and many of the documents are part of the basics of building a federal case including the preservation of records, evidence chain of custody, and listing many seized items.
There are many redactions in the documents, however, the context shows the investigation made significant progress before the contested Democratic primary race started in 2016, as most of the documents are dated in 2015. Many of the documents also reveal the procedures used to conceal details of the FBI’s investigation.
The first document in the file is the initial report titled “Opening of Full Investigation on a Sensitive Investigative Matter (SIM),” which is dated July 10, 2015. It states the investigation is designated as a SIM because of the “connection to a current public official, political appointee or candidate,” which kept the status of the case out of the public domain.
The same report also lists the case as a prohibited investigation, which receives special classification for counterintelligence needs.
“Due to the extremely sensitive nature of this investigation and the damage its disclosure could cause, the case will be designated as a prohibited investigation in accordance with Counterintelligence Division Policy Implementation Guide,” the report states.
FBI’s Counterintelligence division requested the preservation of records for multiple lists of email accounts. One list included 422 redacted accounts and another listed 912 accounts. All of the requests are dated August 18, 2015.
On page 235 of the documents, the FBI admits the Office of Inspector General found classified materials on Clinton’s server. This means the FBI knew about this leak well before anything was made public — and while Clinton was publicly denying it the entire time.
http://thefreethoughtproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/fbi-file.png
The files are also showing signs of details corroborating some pending theories about Hillary Clinton’s corruption scandals, as evidenced by internet forums. Conversation on Twitter has been continuous as users replied to the WikiLeaks tweet, and a lengthy Reddit thread featured many popular users citing specific facts from the documents.
The FBI’s timing in releasing the documents has been questioned as it comes just days after the full report ordered by U.S. President Barack Obama to investigate Russian influence on the election in favor of Donald Trump. The US government claimed Russian intelligence facilitated a hacker persona named Guccifer 2.0 to steal emails and documents from the Democratic National Committee. The emails were then published by WikiLeaks in July 2016, days before the DNC’s convention.
image: http://pixel.watch/qut7
The claims of Russian responsibility for the hack have been heavily criticized by security experts in the US intelligence community. The original hacker Guccifer, whom the 2.0 moniker is referencing, has also dismissed the US government’s claims as ‘crazy’ in an interview last week.
‘Americans are crazy about the Russian thing and that Russians are invading the United States,’ Guccifer said regarding the Russian hacking claims. ‘It’s crazy … it’s this hysteria you know?’
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has repeatedly stated it was not Russian hackers who were responsible for the DNC leaks. Assange also hinted that it may have been murdered DNC staff member Seth Rich who leaked the documents.
American news media has used the claims of Russian responsibility to dismiss the importance of the information revealed by the email leaks which showed DNC officials favoring the campaign of Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders.
The scandal revealed detailed and continuous efforts by DNC officials to get Hillary Clinton selected as the nominee, the most controversial of which involved the DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Schultz was forced to resign the day before the convention began, and was immediately hired by the campaign of Hillary Clinton.
American news media has continued to claim that Russian efforts to influence voters was the cause of Hillary Clinton losing, but largely ignores the content of Hillary Clinton’s numerous scandals, even after the election ended. The result has been a campaign of anti-Russian sentiment which blames the political dysfunction in America on Russian agents, instead of the Democratic party officials who actually influenced the election in favor of Hillary Clinton.
Last week, President Obama quietly deployed U.S. Special Forces troops to positions along the Russian border, representing one of the more dangerous consequences of the fake news campaign to distract Americans with Russian hacking claims.
Anti-Russian sentiment escalated in November after the collective claims of American news media that websites publishing “fake news” were largely responsible for the change in public opinion about Hillary Clinton, which they claim benefitted the campaign of President Donald Trump. The Free Thought Project was named on the list referenced, however, the list has since been largely discredited. The fake news campaign was recently punctuated by the provision meant to “counter propaganda and disinformation directed at the United States,” which was embedded in the new National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
The fake news campaign has also led to the censorship of alternative media organizations, who have had a significant part in spreading information about corruption such as the DNC sabotage of Bernie Sanders and the various scandals surrounding Hillary Clinton. The Free Thought Project has continuously reported on how American news media has used their own fake news stories to create anti-Russian sentiment, and even profits off of it prior to retractions forced by the facts.

WikiLeaks - The US strategy to create a new global legal and economic system: TPP, TTIP, TISA.

“TiSA’s Worse Than TPP – Kiss Internet privacy and national sovereignty goodbye,” – National Economics
Many of us breathed a sigh of relief when, within hours of taking office, Donald Trump withdrew the US from the Transpacific Partnership (TPP) by Executive Order, even though the Bill was not expected to pass a vote in Congress. The terms of the agreement were not made public (except for a portion leaked by WikiLeaks) but the general consensus is that it represented a corporate takeover of the member nations’ governments, like a global European Union. There’s actually a name for that. It’s called the New World Order.
While this action was seen by Trump supporters as both a rapid and welcome fulfillment of a campaign promise and an action which should have pleased partisans on both sides of the aisle, the TPP having been a major cause of Progressive groups, like Fight for the Future there are now some people voicing concerns that its replacement, the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) is swooping in to replace the TPP.
TiSA is being described as not only worse than the TPP, but some even believe that the latter was “expected to fail and TiSA was developed to take its place.” This, according to the staff at TheDailyBell.com
TiSA is basically a re-write of the TPP but it’s bigger because it includes more countries. It’s another attempt to enact corporate globalism by further deregulating banks, reducing Internet privacy and turning manufacturing businesses into “services”, to make their internationalization easier.
Like the TPP, TiSA goes for the jugular of national sovereignty but it’s even crazier in that it would function like a global NAFTA, making local credit unions compete with the major derivatives-peddling transnational banks and like TPP, it allows corporations to sue local, state and federal government entities that have passed legislation that would cut into corporate profits.
It’s absolutely nasty and it cannot be allowed to be formed!
This film about the “Three Big Ts”, TPP, TiSA and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) was produced and released by WikiLeaks last October but it was obscured by the US Presidential Election.
Now is a good time to take a good look at these nefarious “Three Big Ts”, to the extent that we can because the contents of these are not being made publicly available, which is cause for alarm, in and of itself.
++++
Globalists within the American government are trying to bypass the World Trade Organization (WTO) by creating the biggest international agreements that the world has ever seen. They’re called the “Three Big Ts”: the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and the Trade and Services Agreement (TISA).
They’re all being negotiated in secret right now, and the world is only aware of them because WikiLeaks was able to leak parts of them. When you look across all of these deals, China is excluded, as well as Brazil, Russia, India and South Africa: the BRICS Alliance.
These agreements are part of a geopolitical war being fought mainly between the United States and China. The US Government is scared of the rise of China, so it has moved to militarily encircle it, through what they’ve dubbed the “Pivot to Asia”. It’s also moving to do this economically.
The basic idea expressed in US strategy papers is for the construction of a new “grand enclosure”, which includes the United States and 51 other countries: 1.6 billion people and two-thirds of global GDP. The strategy is to break trade ties within Latin America, away from Brazil and towards the US, to do the same in Southeast Asia, away from China and towards the US and to pull Western Europe away from Eurasia and towards the Atlantic with the “Big Ts”.
WikiLeaks revealed four chapters of the TPP which affects 12 countries in the Americas and Southeast Asia. They also obtained parts of TISA, which affects 52 countries, including the EU but nearly all of it is still a secret. Nobody knows about what’s being negotiated in our name. These far-reaching deals are going to radically alter our economies and our societies and yet even elected congresspeople and parliamentarians know nothing about it.
The world’s biggest corporations, however, don’t have the same problem they have been receiving VIP access from day one and have had abundant influence in the negotiations. Everyday people are excluded from knowing the details; governments are also largely excluded.
Those who ARE included are the multinational corporations. The “Three Big Ts” are basically corporate ownership agreements. They’re about enshrining investor rights and ensuring that these corporations can run wild in these countries, with very, very little regulation by government.
These treaties will have huge implications for almost every critical issue that an individual citizen or community would care about health, education, the environment, privacy and access to medicines and the list could go on.
One of the most criticized aspects is the “Investor-State Dispute Settlement” system (ISDS). It’s a secretive international tribunal that allows companies to sue states over virtually anything that they can claim affects investment. If anything affects their profits, they can sue. US corporations would be able to sue the governments of Europe in a parallel judicial system which is available to them, alone!
People have no access to it; domestic firms have no access to it, governments have no access to it. It’s just the foreign investors – in this case, US corporations. They want to make it impossible for sovereign governments to reverse the changes which are going to give them power.
If the TTP passes with ISDS in it, the privatization of the National Health Service, which is happening in the UK can never be reversed.
What is democratic about an enormous imposition of power on countries whose citizens have no way of knowing what’s going on or of debating it or influencing their government in its decision? It’s anti-democratic. The history of these agreements shows that they’re difficult to change unless people can see what’s in them – and that’s why they’ve been kept secret, because when the contents are revealed, it generates opposition.
WikiLeaks has succeeded in delaying the passage of the TPP and opening up the debate around it and TISA by releasing the secret draft text. Their publication of an earlier proposed US-EU agreement killed it, entirely and helped the world become a more transparent place.

Fortunately for the "old" plans asserted in the above post, other than direct, bi-lateral, country by country negotiations, you won't see the US agreeing to the corporate takeover deals for at least four years, maybe eight, maybe longer... Thanks to the US electing Donald as President. He has not only promised this is how the US will enter into trade agreements, he's also acting in alignment of his words.

Assange's fate hangs on outcome of Ecuador’s presidential elections
UTgQ8eVwQx8
Published on 21 Feb 2017
Tension is mounting in Ecuador, where results of the first round of the country's
presidential elections remain too close to call. Meanwhile, the outcome is being
billed as something of a judgment day for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange,
who could be evicted from the Ecuadorian embassy in London if candidate
Guillermo Lasso wins. RT America's Marina Portnaya reports.

I am having a problem reconciling these facts.
On one hand we have Pamela Anderson spotted at Marina Abramovic occult art dinner party several months ago, and now she is in love with Julian Assange and for the past several months seeing him regularly at the Ecuadorian Embassy.
So does this mean:
- Pamela is working with Deep State to get close to Julian?
- For what purpose?
- Is Pamela's companionship a reward to Julian for doing a good job?
- Truely in love with him?
- Pamela part of the fifth column in Hollywood?
- Is she deliberately switching sides and making a show of it?
- If Julian is at the top of Deep States hit list why is Pamela not threatened at all?
This one has me baffled I remember her being a smart girl making bad choices, and dating a string of junkie heavy metal rejects and now she seems to be a Hollywood satanists.
What do you guys make of this situation?

she is definitely doing her job (in all meanings possible) and he definitely knows about that. But imagine, having been in a room for years, and a fresh someone comes and offers you whatever you are lacking in terms of human company. Would you say no? Even if you know that you are playing with fire? Or she may be a messenger within some kinds of negotiations.
- a side comment: i personnally do not understand what can be pretty with over inflated lips and boobs, surgery all over, etc.
