This Sept 2015 Coast to Coast interview, with author Robert Guffey (http://www.coasttocoastam.com/guest/guffey-robert/74946/) -- all about invisibility technology -- is HIGHLY recommended.
Trust me on this one. :)
I recommend it...
first, for the subject matter: a staggering and almost ridiculous story in which compelling evidence emerged of operational invisibility technology, and
second, because Robert Guffey's recounting of the whole extraordinary tale is, all at once, fascinating, entertaining, articulate and hilarious. It's really quite wonderful to listen to.
Robert Guffey, who few may have heard of, was a personal friend of Walter Bowart (who wrote the classic OPERATION MIND CONTROL -- download that here (http://projectavalon.net/Operation_Mind_Control_Walter_Bowart.pdf) as a PDF, by the way), and is also a University Lecturer in English: clearly an extremely bright and articulate man, with a sparkling sense of humor, too.

Here's the Coast to Coast summary of the show (http://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2015/09/20):
George Knapp was joined by author and researcher, Robert Guffey (http://cryptoscatology.blogspot.com/), who shared the remarkable story of Damien (called Dion in Guffey's book), an unrepentant heroin addict who in 2003 sheltered a US Marine that had stolen 22 pairs of night vision goggles, a DoD laptop, and perhaps a few top secret files from Camp Pendleton, a military base in the San Diego area.
Arrested under the Patriot Act, Damien underwent a six-day-long Abu-Ghraib-style interrogation by the NCIS, and was accused of trying to sell the military equipment to terrorists. Damien refused to testify against the Marine, or cooperate in any way, and was eventually released.
But after his release he began to notice he was being "gang stalked" around San Diego, with 7-9 people following him into a 7-11, restaurants, and various places. They wanted him to feel discombobulated and paranoid, Guffey explained. Vehicles were parked outside Damien's house, and Guffey knew someone at the DMV, and found out that none of the license plate numbers "officially existed," which suggested they were government vehicles.
After this, Damien began to be bombarded with hallucinations, such as seeing multiple moons in the sky, and the dimensions of his apartment were changing. Further, invisible people were in the room, interacting with him and moving things around, and he saw a black amorphous energy.
A woman from the NCIS visited Damien on a number of occasions, asking if he was ready to cooperate, implying that the harassment would end if he worked with them. Guffey was able to track down Richard Schowengerdt, said to be one of the scientists behind a project code named "Chameleo" that involved bizarre experimentation including "cloaking" — electro-optical camouflage so extreme it rendered observers practically invisible, which correlated with what Damien experienced.
Damien was likely used as a guinea pig to test out the effect of this technology, Guffey concluded, adding that he and Damien suspected the missing night vision goggles may have been especially important to the military as they possibly allowed wearers to see that which had been made invisible.

If it's as good as the one with George Knapp ^^, I'll look forward to another treat. :)

I'm just now plowing through Joseph Farrell's (about a 1/3rd through) "Hidden Finances, Rougue Networks and Secret Sorcery" (so much info to digest as it always is with Farrell!)- Farrell has also mentioned the big significance of SAIC but I'm not through with the book yet-

Fifteen odd years ago I was browsing surveillance tech the public could buy online. An idea came to me that invisibility tech had to be possible when I saw the size of lenses in everyday items. If you could get them down to the size of, say, a pin head. Linked via gossamer fibre optics to a lens diametrically opposed on the other side of a suit, each recording and transmitting what it saw to its opposite twin. Power issues, and weight, were something beyond my ken but I figured it was possible and only a matter of time.
Interesting story, especially as it hinted going back as far as the 70's. They could have come a lot further in 40 years.

Listening to Fox News (which I dislike usually) getting out a small part of the dirt about Hilary Clinton, on Hannity. Talking about Wikileaks revelation and a "fixer" journalist as a witness. Finally making out in the media.
Now, if we, the people, had access to that technology, which is now used against regular folks, politicians would have to be honest because they could be filmed at any time with their crookedness. Almost better than telepathy.
This video on this thead tells me however that for them to lie as they do, and not be made public, the army, the NSA, the CIA, the MJ12, the... name it, are all in with it. They could at anytime stop these crooked politics, these crooked bankers, since they have the tools to do so.
They could help into making this planet a nice one and its people a non violent, empathetical society. But they do not. And it is in their hands. I would not like their karma, hiding harmful stuff and by doing so, harming millions, is as bad as the karmic debt for the doers themselves (and no, karma is not redeemable by having someone else pay for you as they believe).
Thanks for this info Bill

British intelligence during the war was involved in the occult and tried to use it has a weapon. The so named in popular circles the Philadelphia Experiment did indeed happen, it wasn't an experiment it was a unforeseen event in which the subjects on the vessel were amalgamated into the ship itself at a sub atomic level.
If something is possible and you have enough resources and it is unconventional then those in the dark secretive areas, those that lie in the depths of Special Access Programs and beyond will certainly try to exploit it for numerous reasons. A enemy or some unwitting group or person who does not know of such things will not be able to form an adequate defence since even the concept of such things is beyond all rational thinking in the traditional sense and not apart of any learnt experience nor is there any frame of reference you can refer to, hence you are unable to respond to such things and alternative explanations will be sort rather than what is possible and what is reality, then what is reality a perception of ones experience amongst other things.
Invisibility has been and is been sort and apart of classified projects, even bordering mystical realms. Think about all the phenomena's which are not seen by the human eye, yet they exist just as radio waves, and microwaves exist, it will attract attention, and with advanced technology and knowledge of other realms use my mystics and so name psychics, combine this with Psychotronics and the recesses of human sub conscious you will achieve results beyond any rationale thinking.

I was thinking about this and started to think along the lines of what you have mentioned above Ewan, then I had a thought.
What if you could make a electrically conductive fabric suite something to akin to a faraday cage, then fit a device self contained device with power source that could send a signal or signals to the garment at a frequency that was beyond the range of visible sight or emitted a signal that told your eyes to ignore what they were seeing, sounds silly doesn't it ? but it may explain the special eyewear.
Sounds like an interesting project to be involved with if it technology wasn't being misused .
I have to add , if you did work on such a technology and it was perfected you may find that after the project was over you may find you have the life expectancy of a hamster.

Wow, my targeting is far different. Only I'm tortured by some beam technology I don't understand and cannot stop. It's worse in my home but happens wherever I am. I hope I can find a way to block this.!!!

I'm of the opinion that this information should be read and understood. The CHAMELEO story is absolutely entertaining even if you do not end up believing the story. It's a roller coaster of a ride. :)
I'm posting on this thread because of a thread good ole moderator Mike threw together.
Good ole moderator Mike, he threw this thread up.
Elisa Lam Documentary (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?101403-Elisa-Lam-Documentary)
And on this thread, Mike, he has this here youtube video discussing the mysterious situation of one Elisa Lam.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yda8zcCCx1Q
yda8zcCCx1Q
Now the initial reason I'm thinking folks were interested in this video was because of David Paulides mentioning the disappearance and attributing a certain non-human quality to the disappearance, a certain interdimensional explanation if you will. Now, I've been listening and reading Paulides since 2012 and I've got the threads here on Avalon to prove it.
But after listening to Mike's video I got the impression that Paulides was wrong on this one, and yet there seemed a very odd and possibly equally exotic explanation for the disappearance.
Elisa Lam seems to have had some kind of interest she posted online about a Canadian company inventing a real life version of the Harry Potter invisibility cloak.
Further more there seems to have been a company involved with invisibility R&D mentioned as having rented one of the suites in the hotel she was staying in.
Further more the video of her last moments alive seem to show her interacting with an invisible presence on a camera mounted inside of an elevator.
Her wrists seem to be moving against an object that does not seem to be there.
Optically speaking it is a strange phenomenon to behold.
This all happening in the LA CA area started me thinking about the incidents talked about on this thread that took place for the most part just south of LA CA in San Diego CA.

Hey Marcus, this is the book good ol moderator Mike wanted to send you, remember? I knew it was right up your alley. I actually started a thread on this too. Of course without initially knowing good ol, jolly ol Bill had beat me to it. Damn you Bill☺.
I think it's interesting to note that this Elisa Lam case involves the dead body being found in water, which is a common denominator in many of Paulides cases.
If the technology featured in Chameleo was used against Lam, it was a much more sinister group using it than the one who harassed Damien in 'Chameleo'.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least if some dark group was posted up in that hotel, using this tech against the people there (it might explain what appears to be a police cover up in the Lam case). I think they're using this tech, at least initially, on the homeless , vagrants, drug addicts, transients and so forth. Plausible deniability. No one is going to believe them of course when they attempt to relate their experiences.

Too Scary :bolt:
I think it's interesting to note that this Elisa Lam case involves the dead body being found in water, which is a common denominator in many of Paulides cases.
That is a bit of a stretch.
The Paulides cases all involve lakes and streams for the most part.
Including a water tank on top of a building is almost like including a bathtub.
If the technology featured in Chameleo was used against Lam, it was a much more sinister group using it than the one who harassed Damien in 'Chameleo'.
A tool is only as evil as the person using it.
It would only be a matter of time before something like this fell into the wrong hands.
And I can't think of any other kind of hands this would have been made for. :(
It wouldn't surprise me in the least if some dark group was posted up in that hotel, using this tech against the people there (it might explain what appears to be a police cover up in the Lam case). Indeed. And if the weaponized Tuberculosis deal named "Lam, Elisa" was in fact a construct then it would appear that they used this on the homeless as well. Possibly to test it's virulence.
Kind of reminds me of that movie Kevin Bacon did where he was drunk with power once he tapped into a technological invisibility and turned into a weirdo rapist.

I'm about three quarters through the book and it's excellent. It all sounds like fantasy until you actually experience the stuff. Whew. It's best to dump fear and laugh in the face of it. It's about all you can do in that kind of situation.
I actually admire Dion, the heroin addict. He seems to be more sane than the kind of stuff he was exposed to.

In the seasons of filming it was an hypothesis that there is a stealth technology that was applied around a craft which was an living sentient organism that carried on a symbiotic relationship with the entities that occupy it's living space. I say that because of some of the things that changed with the craft. Also the inside appeared to be different colors of the light spectrum, even filmed the entities that could phase in and out and be light themselves. In the video posted it's very interesting that the reflection of the blanket was visible at certain angle just like what showed up in the video as a reflective surface.

Robert Guffey was on Coast-to-Coast last night. Damien saw one of the cloaked people in his apartment when he opened the medicine cabinet door. Towards the end of the show people were calling in saying they've had invisible people in their house. One man said he reported the gang stalking problems he was dealing with to the police, and they put him on a six-day psych hold. In Michael Fitzhugh Bell's books The Invisible Crime part 1 & 2 he wrote he was put on a psych hold twice for complaining to the police about the same thing.
C2C (https://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2022-02-20-show/)
In the latter half, author and researcher Robert Guffey returned to continue the strange story of 'Project Chameleo,' in which a San Diego man named Damien was "gang stalked" and subject to bizarre experiments and mind control. The incidents began after Damien was accused of harboring a US Marine suspected of stealing materials from Camp Pendleton. At one point, Damien said he saw a black ball of amorphous energy move on the floor, and his apartment appeared to be growing and shrinking, Guffey recounted. When Damien eventually left town, he observed something akin to "mini-flying saucers" constantly following his van through multiple states. Guffey tracked down a scientist/inventor named Richard Schowengerdt, who had patents for a kind of optical camouflage that seemed to fit the descriptions of Damien's experience.
Schowengerdt admitted to Guffey that his technology could be used for psychological warfare-- making a foreign dictator think that he's seeing bizarre alien landscapes, for instance. And further, Schowengerdt believed that his technology was stolen from him and being used without his permission. Since Guffey first reported the story, other cases have come to light, such as a prominent New York radio host who said that he too was a victim of optical camouflage harassment. The host was able to capture video footage of people dragging equipment onto his property, and creating holograms to mess with his head. Schowengerdt reviewed the footage and data and confirmed in an affidavit that it appears to be the same cloaking and camouflage technology that he developed. For more, see the recap from Guffey's previous appearance.

Chameleo
By Robert Guffey
Main Characters:
Robert- the author and Dion’s friend
Dion- a troubled individual with drug problems
Lita Johnson- an alleged NCIS agent
The book starts off with Dion allowing a Lee later identified as Doyle who went AWOL from Camp Pendleton to stay at his party pad. He allegedly stole a truck, a laptop with top secret files, a handgun from Iraq & 25 pairs of night vision goggles. Within 2-3 days he opened the files on the computer and within minutes NCIS agents were at his front door. They arrested Lee/Doyle and Dion who they held for six days. Not wanting to be a rat he refused to testify against Lee and they were apparently enraged by that. All the items were recovered except for the complete set of goggles. They felt Dion hid them somewhere.
For about eight months he was gang stalked everywhere he went. They projected holograms onto his apartment window and he would see an alien landscape with three suns. He claims midgets wearing invisibly suits were in his apartment. In one incident a 2.5 foot amoeba like creature crawled across his bedroom floor, went into his jacket and moved it across the floor. One night Dion almost overdosed on heroin and was on the phone with Robert who was trying to keep him alive by talking to him. He met with NCIS the followed day and they looked haggard as if they were also up all night listening to the conversation. Robert lent him $500 so he could purchase a used van and leave the area.
He ended up traveling across the country and had the same stalking problems and he was escorted out of a state. He believes they put something inside of him that allows them to track him. Every time he got near a military base it would activate gang stalkers. He was abducted in Kansas by some rednecks who believed he was possessed by the devil. They called Robert who talked them out of doing anything to him. He settled in a small town in Kansas and got a job and a place to live. His problems stopped at that point possibly because it was such a small town it would have been impractical to continue to engage him. He was followed across the country by advanced drones.
Robert informed Dion he was traveling to Norther California to visit Dion’s old girlfriend. He packed up his things and left Kansas to meet them which they didn’t want. From there he was living in his van and started doing drugs again. He went to live with his mother and started doing research on invisibly technology. They met with Richard N. Schowengerdt who was involved in a project he wanted to get off the ground called Chameleo. They interviewed him and speculate his work was stolen by a defense contractor and developed. An analogy to the Rubik’s cube was made in respect to ideas being developed at the same time by different groups or individuals.
Dion was then living in his van in Robert apartment parking lot and started dealing drugs. He allowed two teenaged homeless kids to sleep in his van and they ended up stealing it. After that Robert put him on a Greyhound bus back to his mother’s place in Northern California. While up there he saw UFO’s and started getting a metallic taste in his mouth which is a sign of electromagnetic poisoning.
My view on the book:
It appears this is all about procuring people as guinea pigs in a similar fashion as acquiring personnel for a twenty and back program. The theft could have been a contrived Hegelian dialectic scenario to use Dion as a test subject for the defense contractors in the San Diego area. These techniques and technologies are then made available to off world customers.

This is the story of an up and working invisibility program.
An obvious top secret type thing but other types of technology creep their way into the story as well.

Inversion posted this on the Miami mall aliens Jan 2024 thread.
8 minutes in we see a crazy ass xenomorph shadowy alien running on all fours.
No reported eyewitness testimony for clarification. Probably fake.
I'm posting it here because I think folks have a predisposition or idea of what project blue beam is going to be.
Namely a holographic with the limitation that it has to be outside and in the sky.
This thread and this technology alluded to in the book chameleo could do this.
This technology could do what is in this video and further more what happened inside the mall it self.
The reason it is good to familiarize yourself with this technology in this story is so you can try to be prepared when they spring it for this exact type of thing.
And word is they've already been using it for milab type scenarios as far back as the nineties.
If you are like myself and you prefer audio books so you can multi task...
Bill has taken the time to download to the Avalon archive the George Knapp interview that is locked behind a coast to coast pay wall.
But I'm telling you it's as good as an interview can be.
And it's close to being as good as the audiobook.
Do yourself a favor and listen to it.

Thanks Robert - I am really enjoying this!
It occurred to me that the night vision goggles that were originally stolen possibly were those dicyanin dye goggles that some have spoken about.

OMG. :) Dear Friends, if any of you reading this followed Robert's original Chameleo story (and his several interviews posted on the thread), this is another inspiring delight to listen to.
It's a blast from beginning to end, and it builds, getting better and better throughout the 90 minutes. Of all the people I've followed on YouTube over the years, Robert has the greatest gift for recounting highly strange experiences and events with frequent touches of playful glee.
I've never found a video of him speaking, only audio podcasts. But one can easily imagine him telling stories for an hour or more with a huge ear-to-ear grin on his face as he delights in the entire mischievous, delicious feast he's laying out for everyone to share with him.
But there's a ton of serious stuff here too, woven in with all the fun. Robert is extremely well read, and knows a host of fascinating people in the esoteric field. The reference list of books, articles, and interviews he cites in this interview would be maybe 50 items or more. To follow up on everything and everyone he mentioned in passing would take a full week of morning-till-night research.
The interview starts off discussing dreams (and very interestingly, too), and after joining a myriad of speculative, esoteric dots (are ET abductions almost like a kind of strange initiation experience??), he rejoins the whole Chameleo/ invisibility topic at 42:26, which continues till the end of the 90 minutes, with some interesting diversions and even more interesting anecdotes.
At one point, he references an article by Donna Higbee in Issue 3 of The Anomalist (https://www.anomalist.com/print/cont3.html), published in 1995, called Involuntary Spontaneous Human Invisibility. (Yes, you read that right.)
I tracked it down and found it, reposted on the 2019 blog of author Dennis Cooper. Here it is in full.
Cooper has embedded several YouTube videos, which were NOT in the original 1995 piece. The three that are still available (two were deleted or removed) I've dutifully added in as well.

Human Spontaneous Involuntary Invisibility
We live in a world where reality shifting and temporal anomalies are becoming the norm, a simple case of a person disappearing should not be difficult to explain – yet it is. What remains obvious is that the person who can no longer be physically seen has shifted into a higher frequency than 3D – therefore cannot be seen with our physical eyes.
In the summer of 1994, I became aware of a very strange phenomenon, human spontaneous involuntary invisibility, which was apparently happening to people in the U.S. When I checked with other researchers and discovered that a number of them had also heard of such cases, I decided to place an inquiry letter in several well-known journals, asking other researchers and the general public if they had any experiences of this nature that they would like to share with me.
Besides the publication of my inquiry letter, my inquiry was placed on several Internet bulletin boards. The letters began pouring in, giving me a broader picture of this phenomenon. I want to share a few stories with you and pass on some of the information I have come across during this past year.

Donna Higbee, CHT
My inquiry letter told the story of Vera in Ventura, California, who tried to get assistance in a post office, only to be completely ignored by other customers and the postal clerk. I have kept in touch with Vera and she has had other apparent invisibility experiences in stores and other public places.
Sheila in Roanoke, Texas, continues to have invisibility experiences, some of which have occurred in restaurants and at the airport. Glenda in Fort Worth, Texas, has had these experiences occur in a cafeteria and a movie theater. Most of the cases that I have researched have been in the U.S., although I do know of cases in England, Europe, Australia, Puerto Rico and Brazil.
In every case I have heard about or personally researched, the person is physically still present, although unable to be seen or heard. From the point of view of the invisible person, the world looks normal and they have no idea that they cannot be seen or heard by people around them. I will address how this might occur a little further along in this article, but first I want to give a few examples below. The quotes are directly from experiencers’ letters to me.
https://avalonlibrary.net/Bill/SHI_post_Jean_image.jpg
Jean
Jean in Tucson, Arizona, wrote me of her experiences. She has had them occur in the library when she attempted to check out books and in clothing stores. The following is a quote from her letter, showing the humor with which she deals with these occurrences.
“I’ve had this happen in stores, in restaurants, and many places. I remember joking to a friend of mine one time that I felt like I could walk into a bank, help myself to a pile of bills and no one would ever see me because I was invisible. There is no physical reason why I should be. I’m taller than average for my sex and age group (I’m fifty-five years old and 5’9″), referred to as good-looking, and I’ve always worn my hair red. You wouldn’t think a tall woman with red hair, high heels in a purple dress and dangle earrings would be invisible, would you?”
https://avalonlibrary.net/Bill/SHI_post_Peter_image.jpg
Peter
Or the story from a forty-seven year old man, Peter in Gloucestershire, England, who was at a private party in 1987. He walked upstairs to use the bathroom and was followed by a woman who also wanted to use the bathroom. The woman motioned for him to go first and she stood outside the door to wait her turn.
Peter used the bathroom, opened the door and walked out into the hallway, closing the door behind him. He went on down the stairs and walked over to some friends and started talking to them. They all ignored him completely. He though they were playing a joke on him, so he walked away and found his girlfriend and asked her for a cigarette. She, too, acted like she didn’t see or hear him.
Peter was getting angry by this time and thought the joke had gone too far. He decided to walk back upstairs and catch the woman coming out of the bathroom and ask her for a cigarette. “…I walked back up the stairs and, on reaching the bathroom landing, I came across the girl again who was standing outside the bathroom door, clearly still waiting for me to come out. When she saw me, her face dropped in surprise for clearly she thought that I was still in the bathroom.”
Peter returned to the party downstairs and everything was normal again and he was able to be seen and heard. When he questioned his friends and girlfriend as to why they had ignored him, they all swore that they had never seen or heard him. Obviously the woman upstairs had not seen him come out of the bathroom and go downstairs.

Melanie
Then there is the case of Melanie in Ventura, California, who became invisible while sitting on her own living room sofa and staring at the wall, lost in her own thoughts. Her husband was walking around the house looking for her but could not see her sitting there, only several feet away from where he was walking. This lasted for approximately ten minutes, then she was suddenly visible again. Her husband was quite upset with her and thought she had been hiding from him. She assured him that she had been sitting there all along, but to this day, he does not believe her.
https://avalonlibrary.net/Bill/SHI_post_Jannise_image.jpg
Jannise
Or, how about Jannise in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who has had a number of invisibility experiences throughout her life. The one reported here lasted longer than usual. As a teenager, she fell in with a group of friends who decided to see if they could actually steal something from a department store and not get caught. As luck would have it, the entire group was caught and taken into custody, including Jannise. They were taken to the police station and one by one were questioned; all, that is, except Jannise.
Although she was standing right there, no one paid the slightest attention to her; not the police, the guards, or the office personnel. She finally just got up and walked out of the police station without ever being questioned or anyone attempting to stop her. When she later talked with her friends about what happened in the police station, “…they didn’t even recall me being taken into custody at the department store. Yet I rode in the police car with everyone else, and they thought I was still at the store.” No one had seen her from the moment the police had arrived on the scene in the store until some time after she had walked out of the police station unhindered.
‘What actually is happening? Why is this occurring? We don’t have answers for these questions yet. But in trying to learn more about invisibility, I came across some information which I want to share with you.
Interestingly, a man named John Macky, who was an early Masonic leader (the early Masons were believed to be an offshoot of the Rosicrucians) taught a method whereby any man could render himself invisible. Another offshoot of the Rosicrucian fraternity, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, left manuscripts describing the Ritual of Invisibility. These manuscripts talk about surrounding yourself with a shroud, which is described as looking like “a cloud.”
It is said that Madame Blavatsky, of the Theosophical Society, witnessed this invisibility for herself and was actually given the secret, thereafter accomplishing this for herself on several occasions in front of witnesses. The literature on the Spiritualists in the U.S. shows that there is no doubt they, too, knew about the cloud and its creation.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnV1PSNJiK8
So, just what is this cloud? We are looking for something that is between empty space and actual physical matter, something unseen by the naked eye but very much in existence. When spiritual essence gathers into very minute focal points of electrical charge (due to certain conditions), we have the creation of electrons. Science reports that such a cloud of free electrons will absorb all light entering it; it will not reflect nor refract light waves, nor are light waves able to pass through a human being.
Consequently the observer’s eye sees nothing there and the person surrounded by such a cloud is invisible. Since light is necessary for human sight, when there are no reflected or refracted light waves bouncing off a person and hitting the observer’s retina, the person is not able to be seen and is not visible under normal circumstances.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV1zd59GW-c
How is this cloud created intentionally? That is difficult to say. There are references to and descriptions of invisibility and its creation in the writings of secret societies, but most people don’t have access to these writings. One could go to India and become an apprentice or student of an Indian guru or teacher to learn these techniques, but that probably is not practical in modern life. To the everyday person, the knowledge of how invisibility works is a mystery.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja_fuZyHDuk
With this being the case, just how are people having experiences of spontaneous involuntary invisibility? I wish I had the answers, but we are still in the midst of our research. If indeed they are forming the light-absorbing, free-electron cloud around themselves, they are doing it unknowingly and without knowledge of the method. Since some kind of focused mental thought process must be employed to make the cloud form around oneself, then it might be that these people are doing this unconsciously.
My research has shown the people to be well adjusted, well educated and taken totally by surprise at the occurrence of invisibility. Often it takes several such occurrences before they realize that they are truly invisible during certain times to other people. They attempt to interact with those around them and simply can’t be seen or heard.
This produces frustration and, in many cases, a sense of fear at something which they don’t understand. There is a big difference between a person purposely not interacting with you because of some cultural or personal reason versus a person not interacting with you because he can neither see nor hear you. A case in point:
https://avalonlibrary.net/Bill/SHI_post_Joe_image.jpg
Joe
I recently had a phone call from Joe L. in Fullerton, California who was very bewildered and needed to talk about what was happening to him. He had just returned from a nightclub where he was seated at the bar by himself drinking his beer. Joe was sitting forward in his chair and intent upon something happening on the dance floor and did not notice a man pass behind his table and take his jacket from the back of his chair. When he finished his beer, he stood up to get his jacket and found it missing.
He reported this to the bartender and was told that the man who turned it in had said no one was sitting at the bar and he assumed that the party had left, so he turned in the jacket. Joe had had several such invisibility occurrences within the past three months and was quite disturbed over them. As I continue to get letters and phone calls, I realize that there is much more to be learned about this fascinating phenomenon.

Great summary there, Bill. And very interesting anecdotes too.
I really enjoyed the interview. Between his masonic background and near encyclopedic knowledge of all things high-strangeness, Robert almost feels like a fictional character in a Philip K. Dick novel. He's always a great interview.
The only thing missing was an update on Damien ("Dion" in 'Chamemeo'). But I'm told Damien updates will be in part 2 of the interview, which will be posted sometime this week.
I'll post part 2 here as soon as it's available:thumbsup:
