Let's see how things are after Monday's super full moon. Yes, I admit, I am one of those who is certain that both full and new moons effect humanity's and human being's/doing's moods.

I'm personally quite sure by my own experiences, full moons can shift my moods. First noticed it over 15 years ago and have had numerous confirmations. I don't track the cycles and after acting, shall we say out of character, as I'm going to bed in self-reflective frame of mind I look out the window and yup, there she is in all her dubious glory.
I'm especially intrigued by stories that we did not always have a moon circling the planet and the various accounts of how it got there. I remember as a child thinking the theory that the moon was a chunk of earth captured in orbit after a cataclysmic collision was ridiculous but never had the voice to question it at the time.

Ah, given how the Earth's tides are in some way "linked" to the passage of our Moon (via Gravity), and given how the human body is approximately 70% water, I do find it hard not to believe that there is at least *some* correlation between the moon and our Moods ! But whatever the truth of it is, I quite often have much more vivid Dreams when the Moon is Full :clap2::heart:

Full Moon always affects me, sometimes more than during some other times. I can just sense it's energy... Let's see how this one will turn out to be.

At one point in time I had a small Residential Home for the Elderly with twelve residents.
Full moon time always provoked a response from the residents with any degree of dementia.
They got quite agitated and wanted to go home to their mother or similar requests--they became children again --It was not easy to settle them down.
The staff were amazing--all credit to their love and patience.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll keep an eye on myself on Monday and see if I'm especially volatile. I haven't been able to get enough sleep for 5 days in a row so I'm feeling pretty grumpy, though.

Snap! And I just slept nearly three hours this afternoon so tonight will be another mess. :)

Several commentators have pointed out the obvious that these protestors are
disturbing the lives of their fellow democratic supporters in the main.

Giant supermoon will be biggest & brightest since 1948

A very rare “supermoon” will appear in the sky on Monday with the moon being the
closest it's been to Earth since 1948.
On Monday at 6:15 a.m. EST, it will be a mere 356,509 kilometers (221,524 miles)
from Earth. NASA has dubbed it an “extra-supermoon” because of its proximity to
the planet, and due to the fact it won’t appear again until until 2034.
The moon will look 14 percent bigger than normal when it reaches perigee, the
point when the moon is closest to the Earth. It will be much brighter too, thanks to
the planet being closer to the sun at this time of year and the supermoon’s
radiance shining 30 percent more light on Earth.

I agree, that there are Full Moons and Full Moons, because not all Full Moons are the same. I am a specialist in the phases of the Soli-lunar cycle that I have been studying for about fifteen years. And a Full Moon at the time of an eclipse is very special and cannot be compared with a classical Full Moon. The effect of the axis of the lunar nodes causes psychological injunctions, in humans, animals and I would say on the environment. There is a nuance of experience depending on when in the phase you were born to enter into resonances or not ...
