I posted this in the Ukraine, Crimea, Syria, Isreal, Iran, Putin, and World War III (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?69621-Ukraine-Crimea-Syria-Israel-Iran-Putin-and-World-War-III) thread. However, people may not see it in the 1501 (and counting) other posts there... so I've posted it in its own thread, hoping more will see it.

This video was recommended on Catherine Austin-Fitts website (https://solari.com/blog/) and I am so glad I decided to watch it.

It is a presentation given by Col. Lawrence Wilkerson on the impact of the USA's relationship with Israel and its onward implications for its foreign policy and actions in the Middle East.

He packs a large amount into a relatively short presentation including:

some history on the relationship,
a review of how different presidents have handled it,
references USA's support of dictators,
implications of the relationship to USA's security in the region

and more.

That was interesting.
I wonder if we'll be hearing more of Wilkerson.

This must be listened to by the whole of the United State population.

If it is too time consuming for you, start at minute fifteen, although the previous part does explain why the speaker comes to those conclusions (min 15+). Extremely good, clear, succint, to the point.

In the first part, he gives a small history of Israel, the implications of US involvement in the Middle East, and the "fed up" of the US military regarding the Middle East, but mostly regarding the decision taken at the White House since Bush I presidency (I will now on call them Bush I, Bush II, Bush III (the Florida one), Cliniton I, Clinton II, and Trudeau I, Trudeau II, since they are all dynasties, like the Rockerfellers, the Rotschild or the Queen of England or Napoleon the emperor and his son/grand son, no voters democracy here at all - get money and be from the dynasty and start running for presidency).

I wonder if we'll be hearing more of Wilkerson.

Good question.... I did a brief search and found other places where he gives his opinion, here are just a few:
* he seems to appear on a news site called The Real News quite regularly:
- The Wilkerson Report (http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=33&Itemid=74&jumival=815), and his latest comment there is
- Larry Wilkerson: A Solution for Syria Will Require the United States to Concede on Assad (http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=17551)

* he's appeared on some more controlled media such as Huffington Post, Salon magazine, MSNBC,...
- Retired Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson Rips Dick Cheney: He Isn’t Immoral, He’s Amoral (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/01/lawrence-wilkerson-dick-cheney_n_5548352.html)
- “We are the death merchant of the world”: Ex-Bush official Lawrence Wilkerson condemns military-industrial complex (http://www.salon.com/2016/03/29/we_are_the_death_merchant_of_the_world_ex_bush_official_lawrence_wilkerson_condemns_military_industr ial_complex/)
- Col. Lawrence Wilkerson: Dick Cheney lost his mind (http://www.msnbc.com/all-in/watch/col.-wilkerson--dick-cheney-lost-his-mind-521590339820)
...

* He's also on various what might be termed "controlled" ALT-left and ALT-right media (maybe not all of them so controlled) such as Zerohedge, Democracy Now, ...
- Lawrence Wilkerson: "The American 'Empire' Is In Deep, Deep Trouble" (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-10-04/lawrence-wilkerson-american-empire-deep-deep-trouble)
- Decade After Iraq WMD Speech at UN, Ex-Powell Aide Lawrence Wilkerson Debates Author Norman Solomon (http://www.democracynow.org/2013/2/6/decade_after_iraq_wmd_speech_at)
- We’re Screwed: Colin Powell’s Chief Of Staff On The Failings Of US Foreign Policy (http://www.mintpressnews.com/were-screwed-colin-powells-chief-of-staff-on-the-failings-of-us-foreign-policy/203366/)
...

Here is more about him:

Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, a 31-year Army veteran and long-time associate of General Colin Powell, was Powell's chief of staff in the State Department from August 2002 until Powell left office in 2005. Tasked by Secretary Powell - in the aftermath of the Abu Ghraib revelations - to gather all the information and documentation relating to the Administration's interrogation policies, Colonel Wilkerson put together what he calls an "audit trail" that led "straight from the Vice President's office." A veteran of the Vietnam War, Wilkerson has served on the faculty of the U.S. Naval War College and holds advanced degrees in both international relations and national security studies. He is currently a visiting professor of government and public policy at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.

From the National Security Archive (http://nsarchive.gwu.edu/torturingdemocracy/interviews/lawrence_wilkerson.html) at George Washington University

So it seems he is an "accepted" opinion holder in the mainstream but he also gets time in more independent venues. I guess he's a whistleblower / permitted critic of sorts... Either that or he has protection from some powerful players!

Thank you @Flash... And thank you for the additional content summary - I forgot to mention the "parade" of presidents he talks about.

Trump's talking about disengaging 'militarily' from Europe.
Maybe that means a big reduction in military spending is coming.
I wonder if that will also mean a review of the US-Israeli relationship....

Maybe we'll see Wilkerson with a prominent position in Trumps govt...
Maybe as a military adviser... maybe as a military leader..

Time will tell.
