"Only those who know how to breathe will survive"-Pundit Acharya (Survive what?)

"[The Lord] is not intending any to perish"- 2 Peter 3:9 (Perish from what?)

These could be a few end time scenarios. I could be dead on, way off, or in the ballpark. Decide for yourself and prepare if need be.

Teaching people how to breathe correctly is my profession; so I have to begin with breathing.

Carbon Dioxide is the staple for all living matter on Earth. If the minuscule 0.03% of it leaves the atmosphere everything dies. Period. An extremely healthy person has 6.5% CO2 in the alveolar of their lungs. This means their body is always perfectly oxygenated. If however, through over breathing, a persons CO2 dips below 3% they will die. It pays to train the breathing process.

It's interesting to take notice of even the most elite athletes panting and wheezing after only a few minutes of training or competition. This is because our air has become poisonous to us. The air around us contains about 0.03% of CO2, which is about 200 times below normal, and 20% oxygen which is about 10 times above normal.

When a certain percentage of CO2 leaves our body and atmosphere death is the result.

The industrial revolution is not only dumbing us down but its literally stripping our lives of Life (CO2). (Hey that's my username!).

HEAD knowledge verses Spiritual experience are two different things. We can know something but performing it is another matter. This is especially true when it comes to activation of spiritual gifts and powers.

The apostle Paul astral traveled (2 Corinthians 12:1-6). So did Peter (Acts 12:5-17). Jesus and Philip bodily traveled through the air to other locations (Matthew 13:54; Acts 8:39, 40). In addition to these "spiritual" powers, the entire Bible is filled with spiritual apostles, prophets, and disciples seeing visions, casting out demons and performing other miracles such as feeding a multiple of people with only a few pieces of bread and fish as well as walking on water. (They indeed trained and sacrificed time to perfect these things.

The scriptures are silent about Jesus' unaccounted years from the ages of fourteen to thirty. Many have said that He traveled to India during those years; I agree. India has a deep tradition of teaching the inwardness of God's presence. India also teaches all forms of yoga. Jesus went to India in order to learn these customs and the deeper aspects of spirituality. He returned to teach His disciples. The Bible is deeply esoteric in nature.

Yogis (among other believers) can do amazing feats with their "bodies" (all three; spirit, soul, and physical body). They can suspend their breathing for long periods of time. They can rest their heart rate by scientific meditation to the brink of death (as did the apostle Paul- 1 Corinthians 15:31). One yogi was buried inside a walled enclosure for forty days. He had mastered the art of controlling and resting his heart and breathing process.

If we don't master ourselves in spiritual, mental, and physical discipline what will become of us? "Perish" from what? If we do not master some of these spiritual powers will we perish from the life impending of conscious awareness? Is head knowledge apart from actual spiritual experience enough? If this was the case why are these spiritual feats documented for us then? Who is brave enough to experiment with them? (Or do we love ourselves too much?) Can faith all by itself when the day?

Is it truly possible and necessary to be "extricated" out of this present wicked eon like the apostle Paul wrote (Galatians 1:4)? Or as Monroe puts it, "Attaining escape velocity" from the Earth's 4D energy bubble.

Personally speaking, I train my breathing. I am a martial artist. I belabor my body. I teach others what I know and literally indulge myself on other people's knowledge. I love people. I clean the Earth. I do these things because they feel natural to me and because the apostle Paul wrote that he belabored his body leading it into slavery, lest somehow, when heralding to others he may become disqualified (1 Corinthians 9:27). DISQAULIFIED FROM WHAT PAUL?

Your thoughts please.

I think its good to develop abilities and a lot of what you speak of I agree with..
However there is a book entitled "When you can walk on water take the boat" Kind of sums it up.
As part of Kundalini awakening Shidis (abilities) come --the standard advice is to let these go as they anchor a person in ego.

No matter what powers you may develop, at some point you leave the body--it cant be avoided.
You cant take the abilities with you though they maybe fun to have in lifes journey.

What ever you feel led to --thats for you.

Errrm....aren’t we actually 'breathing' nitrogen?

I thought that the 'air' is something like 78% nitrogen??

So do we breath nitrogen???

I dont know!

"Only those who know how to breathe will survive"

I think he is referring to certain pranayama (breath/life force control) techniques, mastery of which enables the adept to overcome the premature ageing that overtakes most men, amongst other abilities (or 'siddhis' as mentioned previously) and spiritual qualities.

Yogis discovered early on that control of the life force is intimately related to control of the breath, the ultimate goal being the breathless state.

The air around us contains about 0.03% of CO2, which is about 200 times below normal, and 20% oxygen which is about 10 times above normal.

So normal is 6% CO2 and 2% O2? Why not test that mixture in an experiment instead of quoting the bible?

If you do, please make sure to not qualify for the Darwin Award ;-)

Exactly what is it that perishes?

Hello Lake. The air we breathe is filled with many gases; even the unpleasant kind (as I discovered when I was a kid and was asked to pull my uncle Frank's finger). Yes, the big two (in addition to my uncle Frank's) are nitrogen and oxygen. The higher percentage being nitrogen. But we have those like spades in our body. In my profession I am more concerned about Carbon Dioxide because of my personal experience with it.

I agree with Academicians Oparin and Vinogradov when they said that life was created in the medium of CO2! This makes perfect sense to me seeing that after I rebuilt the lost CO2 levels inside my body, lungs, and blood my death causing asthma (probably because of my uncle Frank) was cured. This was accomplished through certain breathing practices I learned from the "Method" I teach. My body actually accumulated more CO2 when I stopped hyperventilating (breathing above the norm). The majority of the world's population is guilty of this too. I learned this from experience rather than from head knowledge.

The very low level of CO2 in the air we have now only proves how valuable this gas is. Of course there are those who wrongly believe that the air around us is filled with too much CO2! These are those who probably believe everything they hear; like the Earth is flat for instance.

When our bodies have the proper amount of CO2 in them they become oxygenated better because CO2 helps to release oxygen from our blood into our cells. Breathing more defeats this purpose because then we lose too much precious CO2. (Hey there's my username again!). Our cells need about 7% CO2 and 2-3% oxygen. This should be very alarming to those people who count on breathing to keep them alive and healthy. Hey that's all of us.

For all those oxygen supporters out there consider this: We are like half eaten apples left on the counter for a day or so. What happens to them? They turn brown from oxidation. And that ugly rust on your cars? Yup! Oxidation. It literally takes 6-8 minutes to rebuild the lost CO2 levels that just one deep breath causes. Ponder.

Builder, why should I test that mixture in an experiment when a reliable and trustworthy source already did? I gathered their information applied their Method and it healed me. Good enough for me!

Please state book, chapter, and verse from the Bible as to where I retrieved my statement from.

I could have just as easily composed my thread using information from any science book or Eastern religion text.

The great thing about Darwin was the faith he had in every breath he took.
