Click on the link provided. Wait for it to load in new window. Roll over the bottom, middle of or your screen until menu appears. (see image below) Click on the download button. The file may take a few minutes depending on how large the file is and how fast your system/wifi/landline performs.

Check where you've set up your downloads to come in. Typically, it’ll be on your desktop, or in 'downloads' folder or 'documents' folder.

Note: 1) often the pdf file has a different name than the title 2) With some computer systems the pdf will automatically open up

OPTIMIZING READING OF PDF's ON E-READERS SUCH AS KINDLE


Kindle can read PDF's but it worth optimizing them to take full benefit of the small screen format, including suitable font size and getting rid of useless margins.

Here is my experience with Kindle Voyage for reading PDF optimized with the most excellent freeware k2pdfopt (http://willus.com/k2pdfopt/)

k2pdfopt.exe enables conversion of a standard PDF into a optimized word searchable/selectable, zero margin e-book for E-readers such as Kindle or Kobo etc.

Here is how it works :

File List : Add File
Output Folder : Select

Select Device : (e.g. Kindle Voyage)
Choose DPI : based on trial & error to get the desired font size (e.g. zero margins, 66 characters per line, etc.)

- e.g. for Bruce Lipton, The Biology of Belief, 230 DPI
- e.g. for Dolores Cannon, The Custodians : 230 DPI
- e.g. for Dolores Cannon, The Convoluted Universe I : 180 DPI

To do this, select :
- Pages to convert : e.g. 8-12 (used as a trial & error test on the first pages of the book)
- Smart Line Breaks
- Re-flow text
- Fast preview

When the result looks OK on Preview, select :
- Pages to convert : all
- Convert All Files

Notes
File name : the default name for the file saved is Filename_k2opt.pdf
File size : the size of the converted file can be large (e.g. inflated in a ratio of 1:8 to 1:30) but nothing to worry about.
Timing : on my computer, a 312 pages took 11 min to convert at 230 DPI, a 553 pages book took 18 min to convert at 240 DPI.


Once done, files can simply be copied on Kindle with Explorer or Total Commander via the USB cable in the [documents] directory.

To view files on Kindle, get to the Documents section via:

One of the best books regarding authority and the harm caused by it is The Most Dangerous Superstition by Larken Rose.

The removal of self responsibility is the essence of this book.
I bought many copies of this book in a physical format and gave them away to people who enquired to me about the system they lived in.
Not a single one of them read past chapter 2. NOT ONE.
I know because I asked them and they told me.

One easy step:

If you purchased the cable then sync up the Kindle to the main computer and drop in ‘.mobi' into the Kindle document folder.

Second way is if you don't have the sync cable:

1. To add the file on your personal computer, just double click and it’ll open up in the Kindle software application.

2. To add it to the Kindle, email the '.mobi' download to your Kindle account. It automatically downloads. If you don’t know your Kindle email address go to “Manage Your Content and Devices” and under that tab your Kindle address(es) are listed for each device and computer you’ve used.

For more assistance, go to the right, bottom of the Amazon site. Click the link “Manage Your Content and Devices”.

FYI: I use the same process (email or drop pdf) after I reformat documents into PDF. I use Helvetica font- size 27. Examples: Avalon posts or info from websites.

THE ARTILECT WAR - Cosmists vs. Terrans

A Bitter Controversy Concerning Whether Humanity Should Build Godlike Massively Intelligent Machines

This book's main idea is that this century's global politics will be dominated by the "species dominance" issue. 21st century technologies will enable the building of artilects (artificial intellects, artificial intelligences, massively intelligent machines) with 1040 components, using reversible, heatless, 3D, molecular scale, self assembling, one bit per atom, nano-teched, quantum computers, which may dwarf human intelligence levels by a factor of trillions of trillions and more.
The question that will dominate global politics this century will be whether humanity should or should not build these artilects. Those in favor of building them are called "Cosmists" in this book, due to their "cosmic" perspective. Those opposed to building them are called "Terrans," as in "terra," the Earth, which is their perspective. The Cosmists will want to build artilects, amongst other reasons, because to them it will be a religion, a scientist's religion that is compatible with modern scientific knowledge.

The Cosmists will feel that humanity has a duty to serve as the stepping-stone towards building the next dominant rung of the evolutionary ladder. Not to do so would be a tragedy on a cosmic scale to them. The Cosmists will claim that stopping such an advance will be counter to human nature, since human beings have always striven to extend their boundaries. Another Cosmist argument is that once the artificial brain based computer market dominates the world economy, economic and political forces in favor of building advanced artilects will be almost unstoppable. The Cosmists will include some of the most powerful, the richest, and the most brilliant of the Earth's citizens, who will devote their enormous abilities to seeing that the artilects get built. A similar argument applies to the military and its use of intelligent weaponry. Neither the commercial nor the military sectors will be willing to give up artilect research unless they are subjected to extreme Terran pressure.

To the Terrans, building artilects will mean taking the risk that the latter may one day decide to exterminate human beings, either deliberately or through indifference. The only certain way to avoid such a risk is not to build them in the first place. The Terrans will argue that human beings will fear the rise of increasingly intelligent machines and their alien differences. To build artilects will require an "evolutionary engineering" approach. The resulting complexities of the evolved structures that underlie the artilects will be too great for human beings to be able to predict the behaviors and attitudes of the artilects towards human beings. The Terrans will be prepared to destroy the Cosmists, even on a distant Cosmist colony, if the Cosmists go ahead with an advanced artilect building program.

In the short to middle term, say the next 50 years or so, the artificial brain based industries will flourish, providing products that are very useful and very popular with the public, such as teacher robots, conversation robots, household cleaner robots, etc. In time, the world economy will be based on such products. Any attempt to stop the development of increasingly intelligent artilects will be very difficult, because the economic and political motivation to continue building them will be very strong in certain circles. If the brain-based computer industries were to stop their research and development into artilects, then many powerful individuals, including the artilect company presidents and certain politicians will lose big money and political influence. They will not give up their status without a fight.

However, as the intelligence levels of the early artilects increases, it will become obvious to everyone that the intelligence gap between these artificial-brain-based products and human beings is narrowing. This will create a growing public anxiety. Eventually, some nasty incident or series of incidents will galvanize most of society against further increase of artificial intelligence in the artilects, leading to the establishment of a global ban on artilect research.

The Cosmists however, will oppose a ban on the development of more intelligent artilects, and will probably go underground. If the incidents continue and are negative enough, the anger and hatred of the Terrans towards the Cosmists will increase to the point where the Cosmists may decide that their fate is to leave the Earth, an option that is quite realistic with 21st century technology.

Since the Cosmists will include some of the most brilliant and economically powerful people on the planet, they will probably create an elite conspiratorial organization whose aim is to build artilects secretly.

The book presents a scenario in which the Cosmists create an asteroid-based colony, masked by some innocuous activity. In reality, this secret society devises a weapon system superior to the best on the Earth. With their wealth and the best human brains, this may be achievable. They will also start making advanced artilects. If the Terrans on the Earth discover the true intentions of the Cosmists, they will probably want to destroy them, but not dare to because of the counter threat of the Cosmists with their more advanced weapons. The stage is thus set for a major 21st century war in which billions of people die - "gigadeath."

This horrific number is derived from an extrapolation up the graph of the number of deaths in major wars from the beginning of the 19th century to the end of the 21st century. Approximately 200 million people died in the 20th century, for political reasons -- wars, purges, genocides, etc.

The profound schizophrenia that the author feels on the Cosmist/Terran species dominance issue will be felt by millions of people within a few years he expects. There is probably Cosmist and Terran in nearly all of us, which may explain why this issue is so divisive. The author is simply one of the first to feel this schizophrenia. Within a decade it may be all over the planet.

The last chapter of the book closes with a repetition of a pithy slogan that summarizes the two main viewpoints in the artilect debate in a nutshell; a debate that the author believes will be raging in the coming decades.

The novel is written as a first-person narrative of Pyotr Pustota (English: Pyotr Voyd) and in the introduction to this book it is claimed that unlike Dmitriy Furmanov's book Chapayev, this book is the truth.

The book is set in two different times — after the October Revolution and in modern Russia. In the post-revolutionary period, Pyotr Pustota is a poet who has fled from Saint Petersburg to Moscow and who takes up the identity of a Soviet political commissar and meets a strange man named Vasily Chapayev who is some sort of an army commander. He spends his days drinking samogon, taking drugs and talking about the meaning of life with Chapayev.

Every night (according to his post-revolutionary life) Pustota has nightmares about him being locked up in a psychiatric hospital because of his beliefs of being a poet from the beginning of the century. He shares the room in the hospital with three other men, each with his very individual form of fake identity.

Until the end of the book it isn't perfectly clear, which of Pyotr's identities is the real one and whether there is such a thing as a real identity at all.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

After I had given the manuscript of the original draft of this book to my editor at Prentice- Hall, in 1972; and had received the galley proof of the first edition back from him, he called me to suggest that I keep it in a safe place at all times. He told me that his home had been broken into the night before, and he suspected it was an attempt to steal his copy of that galley proof. He said, "They didn't get it. It was under the seat of the Volkswagon."

A few days later a nationwide release by the well-known Washington columnist, Jack Anderson, appeared across the country, "Book Bares CIA's Dirty Tricks". In that column, Anderson reported that the CIA had contacted a well-known bookstore in Washington and asked one of the employees to see if he could get a copy of the galley from me, and agreed to pay him $500, if he did. I agreed to meet him at my home that evening.

I suspected his call, but invited him anyway. In the meantime I set up a tape recorder in the umbrella stand near my front door and arranged for it to turn on when I switched on the overhead on the front porch. With that arrangement, I recorded the whole visit including his final burst, "They promised me $500.00, if I got that galley proof." I took that tape to Anderson, and it was the basis of his March 6, 1973 column. The underground attack didn't quit there.

After excellent early sales of The Secret Team during which Prentice ­Hall printed three editions of the book, and it had received more than 100 favorable reviews, I was invited to meet Ian Ballantine, the founder of Ballantine Books. He told me that he liked the book and would publish 100,000 copies in paperback as soon as he could complete the deal with Prentice-Hall. Soon there were 100,000 paperbacks in bookstores all around the country.

Then one day a business associate in Seattle called to tell me that the bookstore next to his office building had had a window full of books the day before, and none the day of his call. They claimed they had never had the book. I called other associates around the country. I got the same story from all over the country. The paperback had vanished. At the same time I learned that Mr. Ballantine had sold his company. I travelled to New York to visit the new "Ballantine Books" president. He professed to know nothing about me, and my book. That was the end of that surge of publication. For some unknown reason Prentice-Hall was out of my book also. It became an extinct species.

Coincidental to that, I received a letter from a Member of Parliament in Canberra, Australia, who wrote that he had been in England recently visiting in the home of a friend who was a Member of the British Parliament. While there, he discovered The Secret Team on a coffee table and during odd hours had begun to read it.

Upon return to Canberra he sent his clerk to get him a copy of the book. Not finding it in the stores, the clerk had gone to the Customs Office where he learned that 3,500 copies of The Secret Team had arrived, and on that same date had been purchased by a Colonel from the Royal Australian Army. The book was dead everywhere.

The campaign to kill the book was nationwide and world-wide. It was removed from the Library of Congress and from College libraries as letters I received attested all too frequently.

That was twenty years ago. Today I have been asked to rewrite the book and bring it up to date. Those who have the book speak highly of it, and those who do not have it have been asking for it. With that incentive, I have begun from page one to bring it up to date and to provide information that I have learned since my first manuscript.

In the beginning, this book was based upon my unusual experience in the Pentagon during 1955-1964 and the concept of the book itself was the outgrowth of a series of luncheon conversations, 1969-1970, with my friends Bob Myers, Publisher of the New Republic, Charlie Peters, founder of The Washington Monthly, and Ben Schemmer, editor and publisher of the Armed Forces Journal, and Derek Shearer. They were all experienced in the ways and games played in Washington, and they tagged my stories those of a "Secret Team." This idea grew and was polished during many subsequent luncheons.

After my retirement from the Air Force, 1964, I moved from an office in the Joint Chiefs of Staff area of the Pentagon to become Manager of the Branch Bank on the Concourse of that great building. This was an interesting move for many reasons, not the least of which was that it kept me in business and social contact with many of the men I had met and worked with during my nine years of Air Force duties in that building. It kept me up-to-date with the old "fun-and-games" gang.

After graduating from the Graduate School of Banking, University of Wisconsin, I transfered to a bank in Washington where in the course of business I met Ben Schemmer. He needed a loan that would enable him to acquire the old Armed Forces Journal. During that business process I met two of Ben's friends Bob Myers and Charlie Peters. We spent many most enjoyable business luncheons together. This is where "The Secret Team" emerged from a pattern of ideas to a manuscript.

As they heard my stories about my work with the CIA, and especially about the role of the military in support of the world-wide, clandestine operations of the CIA, they urged me to write about those fascinating nine years of a 23-year military career. During the Spring of 1970 I put an article together that we agreed to call "The Secret Team", and Charlie Peters published it in the May 1970 issue of The Washington Monthly.

Before I had seen the published article myself, two editors of major publishers in New York called me and asked for appointments. I met with both, and agreed to accept the offer to write a book of the same name, and same concept of The Secret Team from Bram Cavin, Senior Editor with Prentice-Hall.

After all but finishing the manuscript, with my inexperienced typing of some 440 pages, I sat down to a Sunday breakfast on June 13, 1971 and saw the headlines of the New York Times with its publication of the "purloined" Pentagon Papers. [Any reader of the "Pentagon Papers" should be warned that although they were commissioned on June 17, 1967, by the Secretary of Defense as "the history of United States involvement in Vietnam from World War II [Sept 2, 1945] to the present" [1968], they are unreliable, inaccurate and marred by serious omissions. They are a contrived history, at best, even though they were written by a selected Task Force under Pentagon leadership.]

One of the first excerpts from those papers was a TOP SECRET document that I had worked on in late 1963. Then I found more of the same. With that, I knew that I could vastly improve what I had been writing by making use of that hoard of classified material that "Daniel Ellsberg had left on the doorstep of the Times," and other papers. Up until that time I had deliberately avoided the use of some of my old records and copies of highly classified documents. The publication of the Pentagon Papers changed all that. They were now in the public domain. I decided to call my editor and tell him what we had with the "Pentagon Papers" and to ask for more time to re-write my manuscript. He agreed without hesitation. From that time on I began my "Doctorate" course in, a) book publishing and, b) book annihilation.

As we see, by some time in 1975 The Secret Team was extinct; but unlike the dinosaur and others, it did not even leave its footprints in the sands of time. There may be some forty to fifty thousand copies on private book shelves. A letter from a professor informed me that his department had ordered more than forty of the books to be kept on the shelves of his university library for assignment purposes. At the start of the new school year his students reported that the books were not on the shelves and the registry cards were not in the master file. The librarians informed them that the book did not exist.

With that letter in mind, I dropped into the Library of Congress to see if The Secret Team was on the shelves where I had seen it earlier. It was not, and it was not even in that library's master file. It is now an official non-book.

I was a writer whose book had been cancelled by a major publisher and a major paperback publisher under the persuasive hand of the CIA. Now, after more than twenty years the flames of censorship still sweep across the land. Despite that, here we go again with a new revised edition of The Secret Team.

Hello, I went through allll pages LOL downloaded lots of books- some of the book links are dead or expired. But truly all of you thank you so much for all this knowledge on ufo, universe, afterlife, etc etc its like 300 plus lol. I think I am good for most of 2018 lol. How would I share some books that I have already? noticed how some can upload on project avalon server.

P.S. does anyone have the books of ingo swann or of star fire i can not find it anywhere (I am going through a tough time in my life- if I was rich I would buy all of them for everyone to read lol) I really am grateful for all of you and those authors (alive or not) bless them for sharing their knowledge with us. The last links are in RAR format. They seem to be working. After you download all the last RAR format files in one folder only then they can be open with a WINRAR software. I will upload pdf files in them seperatly and add a new link in that post below. Either tomorrow or after a week or so.

Those books are really great.. Doctors don't seem to read basics and are mostly bombarded with newly published papers to brainwash them. In any field knowing the basics creates a very desirable effective results. Applies for each profession. You can't remember everything.

Wow Bill!!!! That's an excellent resource for all of us thank you, but noticed missing a good one, John Mack's book Abduction, There's a great chapter in there on light beings and also John's preface or intro not sure which has a good discussion on good vs bad abdutions which a lot of people can't believe an abduction can also be good, just the word itself is negative sounding... cheers

I’m currently reading one of the most extraordinary books I’ve ever read.

How The Nation Was Won: America’s Untold Story 1630-1754 by Graham H Lowry (https://www.amazon.com/Nation-Americas-Untold-Story-1630-1754/dp/0943235219).

It’s got it all: from Jesuit subterfuge—the indoctrination of Native Indians in French Canada to act as proxy armies attacking the New England settlers—Venetian oligarchies working within Queen Annes cabinet to keep Europe in a perpetual war of attrition (headed by the Duke of Marlborough and his wife, John and Sarah Churchill i.e. the Bill and Hillary Clinton of their day), the same Venetian oligarchs promoting backwards culture and the degradation of education.

The amount of parallels between geopolitics in the 1700’s and what’s occurring today is unreal. Even down to the 18th century version of the Q-anon counter-intelligence operations. Jonathon Swifts ‘Bickerstaff Papers (http://www.gutenberg.org/files/1090/1090-h/1090-h.htm)’, highlighting to the Venetian-Jesuit thugs, “we know who you, we know what you’re planning, if you execute your treasonous plans we’ll execute you” (my paraphrase).

This book was first published in 1987 by Lyndon LaRouches ‘Executive Intelligence Review’. LaRouche was thrown in prison for a duration when he began writing about, and exposing, the British-Venetian control over American politics in the 70’s. The inquisitor that was used to go after LaRouche was the same Skull and Bones man who’s been set on Donald Trump today, Robert Mueller.

LaRouche has studied the prosperity generating, nation-building, economic model that was used by the American Founding fathers to break free of Venetian oligarchical serfdom and has been teaching these principles for the past 40 years. The first countries to adopt LaRouches vision are China and Russia, with their ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiatives.

I will tell a personal story that confirms, or matches what he says here.

First, I had an OBE in the early 80's (typical of the many descriptions told before) after which my guides(call them whateve name you like -Angels, ET's) began to talk to me. For some reason I never considered this unusual. They told me to write, something I never wanted or liked to do. Let's say they were persistent. I finally wrote 3 books - not channeled, more like guided.

Back to PKD, who suggested a computer programmed world: In the late 80's - I did something completely out of my norm. At a time when I would normally have gotten angry, I controlled myself and did something kind instead, which of course changed how the other party reacted.

My guides said: You just changed the script.
Mentally I said: There's a script?

There was another incident when I did something rather major, after they encouraged me not to. Once again, and this time they were quite angry, they said we had the road all paved for you and now we don't see how we're going to get it back on track!

Years after (early 2000's) I watched the Adjustment Bureau - my heart stopped, whoever wrote this understood my life, I need to talk to him. I had never heard of PKD before that. Of course I found out he had already passed on.

I'm writing this for this reason. In the Adjustment Bureau the Matt Damon & Emily Blunt characters were able to change the script. I was able to change the script, but I didn't do it consciously. I now try to live consciously, but I've also come to understand that's just a percentage, it's a large one IMO, but there still a percentage, that I don't think can be changed, but I may be wrong - still learning.

There used to be huge collections of audio lectures by Manley P Hall, all over the internet. I've just been searching for them and can't find a free source. The demise of Rapidshare and Megaupload has made all the links I've found into dead links. I found a Piratebay link but the site is either down or I'm blocked.

I just now had to take AvalonLibrary.net offline, for the rest of this month, October 2018, as it was using up too much of our monthly bandwidth allotment.

I expect to reopen the Avalon Library in November 2018, with some means of limiting the amount that any given IP can download, or some other such throttle.

The Avalon Library (http://avalonlibrary.net/) is now re-open for business.

Thanks to the shutdown of the library, we got through the month of October 2018 without exceeding our monthly bandwidth allotment from Singlehop, and now we have a fresh monthly allotment to work on.

I have in place tools to monitor usage more tightly, so that I can (hopefully) block those IP's downloading too much, too fast, while allowing all ordinary usage to continue as before. Up until October 2018 (the month just ended) we never used too much, so any ordinary usage, as before, is fine.

Legislation in 1998 extended copyright by 20 years, so this year marks the first time in two decades that the pool of freely available work has been added to public domain.

Thousands of books entered the public domain on 1 January.

Robert Frost's haunting little poem, Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening, entered the public domain in the US on 1 January alongside thousands of works, by authors from Agatha Christie to Virginia Woolf, in an unprecedented expiration of copyrights. Unprecedented because it has been 21 years since the last major expiration in the US: the passing of the 1998 Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act added a further 20 years to existing copyrights, meaning that the swathe of 1922 works which passed into the public domain in 1998, after a 75-year copyright term, are only now being followed by works first published in the US in 1923.

"The drought is over," proclaims Duke Law School's Center for the Public Domain, highlighting some of the works which are now available royalty-free, by authors from Edgar Rice Burroughs to Kahlil Gibran, PG Wodehouse to DH Lawrence, Edith Wharton to EE Cummings. It's not only books: copyright in the US is also expiring on a host of films, paintings and music.
"The public domain has been frozen in time for 20 years, and we're reaching the 20-year thaw," the center's director Jennifer Jenkins told the Smithsonian. The magazine predicted that the release's impact on culture and creativity could be huge, because "we have never seen such a mass entry into the public domain in the digital age".

Brewster Kahle, founder of the Internet Archive, told the Smithsonian:

"We have shortchanged a generation. The 20th century is largely missing from the internet."
The expiration means anyone can publish an edition, to take one example, of Agatha Christie's The Murder on the Links. That novel, alongside thousands of other books, will become part of the repository of texts on sites such as the Internet Archive and Google Books. Writers will be able to use it as inspiration, creating new works or sequels based on it. Students will be able to quote freely from it; theatre producers will be able to adapt it.
"We can't predict what uses people are going to make of the work we make available," Mike Furlough, executive director of HathiTrust, told the magazine.

"And that's what makes it so exciting."
