Mueller Report: 'US Forced EU to Follow Through on Sanctions Without Proof' (https://sputniknews.com/analysis/201903231073489472-mueller-report-release-implications/)

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his report on suspected collusion between Russia and Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign to the attorney general, with the report not recommending any further indictments. Eurasia Centre senior researcher Earl Rasmussen spoke to Sputnik about the report's implications for Trump and his opponents.

Sputnik: What do we know? What can we expect? It looks like Donald Trump won't receive any political damage to his image, because of course the report doesn't recommend any further indictments. What's your stance?

Earl Rasmussen: Obviously there are certain elements, mostly in the mainstream media that's been stoking this, and certain members on the Hill, in Congress, that were hoping for something, because we heard over and over again that the next bombshell was coming.

But you're correct, there's nothing explosive, and with no new indictments coming out, and really if you look at the indictments that were there, there's nothing related at all to any type of conspiracy or collusion as far as the six people indicted who are US citizens. And the Russians that are indicted are questionable. Let's face it, Concord Management tried to file discovery, and now [prosecutors are] trying to block information, saying it's 'classified'.

There's really no evidence, and for Mr. Trump, although he will suffer some political damage, I think for the most part the objective of this whole hoax is not coming to fruition.

Sputnik: For now of course, no one really knows what's in the report, how long it is, how much it actually deals with the president's own actions. However, a lot of political and perhaps emotional capital was invested in this Mueller probe. Is this a bit of an anticlimax?

Earl Rasmussen: I think for many it is an anticlimax, absolutely. There's so much invested here. Two plus years, millions of dollars, political capital on both sides, and you've got people who have lost their livelihoods. A lot of the people that were brought in, their names exposed, their reputations were damaged. We've got the six people that have been charged [for] things that happened ten years ago; some are financially ruined now; some will spend time in jail for lying to Congress or lying to the FBI over minor financial things that may have gone unnoticed without this.

You look at the other side too, and we've got damage to international relations, not just with Russia, where what has occurred is just outrageous, but also Europe. I mean we forced Europe to follow through on sanctions that there's no evidence for. They've lost business as a result of that, so I'm sure the Europeans will be quite interested in seeing more and learning more about what's coming out of this as well.

The country is divided. Talk about political discord – the media here has done a great job doing that. In a lot of ways we've done a lot of damage to ourselves chasing after something that's not there.

Sputnik: US Attorney General William Barr is going to now summarise the report and decide on how much to share with Congress. What can we expect?

Earl Rasmussen: Personally I think the whole report should be released to the public at some point in time. He'll release it to Congress, I think most of it will probably be provided to Congress. There should be nothing there that they don't already know. They've been doing their own investigations, have called in their own witnesses, so there really should be no surprises there. Obviously the parties will probably try to manipulate the report [against the other party] in order to potentially posture for the 2020 presidential elections.

I had completely forgotten about that. Of course, the sanctions just gave Russia motivation to build up its internal industries and become more resilient in the face of international pressure, which would be desirable for any nation if you ask me.

Mueller's report is still repeating the debunked claim that Russia hacked Podesta's emails and gave them to Wikileaks too. Wikileaks has denied it and essentially admitted they were given the emails by Seth Rich, but all that's needed to debunk blaming Russia is to look at the transfer speed of the files off of the computer. It was consistent with a USB stick but not an Internet transfer. Either the Russians had physical possession of the DNC's hardware (not just sitting around in Russia as alleged), or it was actually Seth Rich as Wikileaks has indicated. I guess this will be a later shoe to drop for those who actually buy into the whole Mueller thing.

And STILL no one is talking about all the incriminating information in those emails. Sure, they damaged Clinton's campaign, but why? Because of what they said!!

HUGE: Former Intercept Writer Steps Forward – Is ‘The Intercept’ An Intelligence Operation? (https://www.fort-russ.com/2019/03/huge-former-intercept-writer-steps-forward-is-the-intercept-an-intelligence-operation/)

We’re happy to see a former Intercept employee come out and whistleblow, posing some tough questions – questions already answered in the affirmative here at FRN, which has been attacked by The Intercept. We have already identified them as both a limited hangout and a gatekeeper, moreover is part of the Atlantic Council network for controlled ‘opposition’ or controlled ‘radical’ or ‘alternative’ publications; is connected to the same campaign that involves Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, Vice Magazine/Vice News, and The Washington Post, the New York Times, and CounterPunch. This is all coordinated at some upper level by the Atlantic Council.

There are very few genuinely independent news and analysis sources, that are also competent and consistent. That’s why we are so very grateful to the readers and supporters who share our stories and support our Patreon and our Paypal, in any way they can. We can only do this with you, and without you, we cannot.

Greenwald and his publication have spread what we consider to be numerous lies about any number of geopolitical situations, and has spoken out of, what is in my opinion, both sides of his mouth, depending on the audience, regarding US intervention in places like Syria or Iran. Don’t believe us about the Intercept? Look no further than this piece (https://theintercept.com/2018/04/19/dear-bashar-al-assad-apologists-your-hero-is-a-war-criminal-even-if-he-didnt-gas-syrians/) (screen-shot below), written by senior staff editor, and host of the Intercept Podcast Deconstructed, that chicken-necked inveterate lying weasel, Mehdi Hasan. There’s a huge difference between ‘running a piece’ by a guest author for opinion diversity or because it highlights some interest points that the editors think are valuable, and a piece published by a senior staff editor and host of the publication’s official podcast – much the same as CounterPunch’s recent dual-passport holding board additions including their low-life neo-McCarthyite podcast host.

That said, the below article by a former Intercept writer/employee is, intentionally or not, incomplete and just the tip of the iceberg. It appears to exonerate some people who aren’t deserving of the cover, but we reproduce this text as just another exhibit.

Friends, look. ‘Professional’ journalism that tells the truth and names the names, by people earning a full-time salary living in a 1st world country, is dead. Adpocalypse killed those off who were still around. What’s left are professional liars and fashionistas, people stuck in that ‘New York‘ state-of-mind, where rubbing elbows with the celebgentsia and being engaged in constant brown-nosing and champagne minglers is priority number one. The real analysts and journalists who are free of any government, intelligence organization, NGO, or corporation are very few and far between. If they live in the U.S or Western Europe, they have day-jobs that aren’t journalism. – Joaquin Flores, Pirate-Adventurer and Renegade-at-Large

By Ken Silverstein

Washington Babylon (https://washingtonbabylon.com/) has been running a number of stories this week by Tim Shorrock and (https://washingtonbabylon.com/why-did-omidyar-shut-down-the-intercepts-snowden-archive/) I (https://washingtonbabylon.com/a-brief-readers-guide-to-tim-shorrocks-reporting-on-the-intercept-and-the-quesions-it-raises/) which raise the possibility — mine did directly — that Pierre Omidyar’s The Intercept (TI) is an intelligence operation, working in collaboration with the U.S. and/or a foreign government. I understand why some readers might be skeptical of that charge, so let me lay out here some additional information and why I think everyone should be open minded about the topic.

Let me also say that I don’t have 100 percent proof that TI was and is an intelligence operation, but the preponderance of evidence points that way. And I’m accumulating more evidence every day that makes the case even more compelling.
Before going further, here is a brief, lightly edited excerpt from the first story I ran on this topic (https://washingtonbabylon.com/a-brief-readers-guide-to-tim-shorrocks-reporting-on-the-intercept-and-the-quesions-it-raises/). I urge all genuinely interested parties to read the entire story, before or after finishing this one.

Did Omidyar set up The Intercept on behalf of U.S. intelligence, in order to entrap, expose and prosecute whistleblowers? It’s curious: Greenwald was Omidyar’s first hire and he had pretty much exclusive access to Edward Snowden’s NSA treasure trove. When I worked at TI, the Snowden archive was locked in a safe. Omidyar and Greenwald long promised they would make it all available to the public but they never did, and last week, amid staff cuts that will inevitably lead to Omidyar killing the publication, TI announced that the Snowden archive will be sealed off from the public for an undetermined amount of time. So it looks like the most explosive leak in U.S. intelligence history will end up being buried by Omidyar and Greenwald.

I briefly noted in that story that I had previously worked at TI, being one of the first hires in 2014. I quit in disgust in early 2015 and wrote about my experience (https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/02/ken-silverstein-the-intercept-115586_Page3.html) for Politico.

Back then, I didn’t suspect anything nefarious. I merely thought TI was experiencing a lot of the same problems any web start up would face. I remember joking with colleagues that by hiring so many left-leaning writers and paying them so much money to effectively not write — my two best (https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/ppm4qz/evil-llc-0000524-v21n12) stories for TI ended up in (https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/avygxk/how-to-make-millions-by-selling-war-917)VICE (https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/avygxk/how-to-make-millions-by-selling-war-917) — Omidyar had effectively decommissioned half of progressive journalism in the country. (Recall here Omidyar is a tech oligarch with rich ties to Silicon Valley, which in turn has deep links to U.S. and foreign intelligence agencies.)

But looking back, I have to wonder: was it merely incompetence and standard problems faced by start ups that kept TI from publishing much, or was it something worse?

TI’s defenders will rush to say it publishes a lot of good work. I’d say it publishes more than the pathetic trickle it did for its first few years, but still remarkably little given how much money Omidyar has lavished on his overpaid stable of harlots. So, sure, call me conspiratorial but anyone but the most dogmatic or corrupt among us has to admit these are fair questions.

OK, the case against TI is still open. As I said, I’m still gathering reams of evidence that I’ve yet to present. Pretend, just for a moment, I’m right. That would lead to the question of complicity and guilt on the part of those TI hired over the years. After all, I worked there myself.

I’d only say that at the time I detested TI and Omidyar, and many of the people who worked there, but I had no clue that the publication could be an intelligence operation until quite recently. My reading of the matter is based on new information, including documents and interviews with multiple TI employees, including the great Barrett Brown, who will be on our podcast later this week to discuss his personal experience.

I believe Omidyar knew exactly what he was doing. If I’m right, he was approached by an intelligence agency (or agencies) and asked to set up TI primarily to entrap and prosecute whistleblowers and leakers. The very name — The Intercept — would have been a joke between Omidyar and his handlers. The second goal would have been to decommission a lot of journalists who had previously done quite a bit of leftist reporting or bloviating, in the case of Greenwald and a few other TI hires.

Glenn Greenwald? I am guessing here, but I believe he may have been in on the whole thing from the start, or surely soon afterwards. He had, I’m told by multiple sources, extensive legal problems in the U.S. that led him to flee to Brazil. He began publishing stories in The Guardian in June 2013 based on Snowden’s leaks. Then, according to his Wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenn_Greenwald):
On October 15, 2013, Greenwald announced, and The Guardian confirmed, that he was leaving to pursue a “once-in-a-career dream journalistic opportunity that no journalist could possibly decline”. Financial backing for the new venture was provided by Pierre Omidyar, the eBay founder. Omidyar told media critic Jay Rosen that the decision was fueled by his “rising concern about press freedoms in the United States and around the world”. Greenwald, along with his colleagues Laura Poitras and Jeremy Scahill, initially were working on creating a place online to support independent journalism, when they were approached by Omidyar who was looking to start his own media organization. That news organization, First Look Media, launched its first online publication, called, The Intercept, on February 10, 2014. Greenwald serves as editor, alongside Laura Poitras and Jeremy Scahill.
Scahill? He’s far too stupid to trust to be part of an intelligence operation. It would be sort of like — but worse, because Donald Trump is reckless but not stupid — Vladimir Putin making the reckless Trump an asset of Russian intelligence. It’s too dumb to believe. No, the stupid Scahill was simply Omidyar’s tool, at least that’s my guess.

https://i2.wp.com/washingtonbabylon.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Screen-Shot-2019-03-27-at-10.26.05-AM.png?w=640&ssl=1
Sweaty and slimy Jeremy Scahill

Poitras is evil. For example, while in Iraq she filmed an Al Qaeda attack on U.S. troops (https://washingtonbabylon.com/poitras/)and watched them die. But I’m fifty-fifty on whether she was used or not. I’m guessing she was, and whoever asked Omidyar to run the operation would have been happy to see her “reporting” sidelined.

https://www.fort-russ.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/laura-poitras-214x300.jpg (https://www.fort-russ.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/laura-poitras.jpg)

(Want to know more about Poitras? Read this Vogue profile (https://www.vogue.com/article/laura-poitras-julian-assange-movie-mass-surveillance-art-exhibition) that resulted from her work with Greenwald on Snowden, the latter now pitifully hung out to dry in Moscow as Greenwald and Poitras have become global celebrities, heroes and filthy rich.)

I’ll give you my impression of other TI employees in the coming days and weeks, including John Cook, that stellar reporter and editor at Gawker.

But for now, I’ve got other work. If you’re in the mood, though, here’s the one story I wrote for Gawker, about George Clooney and South Sudan (https://gawker.com/why-is-south-sudan-a-hellhole-blame-george-clooney-1683838565%EF%BB%BF), which was extremely popular. And not edited by the lamentable Cook.

“Journaille… Canaille!”, Media Disinformation: Karl Kraus’ Campaign against a “Warmongering Press” (https://www.globalresearch.ca/journaille-canaille-media-disinformation-karl-kraus-campaign-against-a-warmongering-press/5677754)

By Dr. Rudolf Hänsel (https://www.globalresearch.ca/author/rudolf-h-nsel) Global Research

https://www.globalresearch.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/karl-kraus.jpg

Karl Kraus, born in 1874, was one of the most important Austrian writers of the beginning of the 20th century and a sharp critic of the predominant press and inflammatory journalism of his time. “Journaille” means in reference to the French word “Canaille” as much as “Presse-Gesindel” or “Presse-Pack”.

Karl Kraus made the expression known in 1902. That was over 100 years ago. It is worthwhile to read himself once again in all peace into the time and to compare it with today’s time.

Mass media still take part in the creation of enemy images and in warmongering. Through manipulation and propaganda they also contribute to the stultification of the masses. This irresponsible behaviour of the “servants of their masters” endangers democracy.

Sceptics who see through the game and try to keep against it are personally discredited by the manslaughter argument “conspiracy theorists” in order to silence them.

“The devastation of the state by the press mafia.”
From 1899 to 1936 Karl Kraus published the satirical magazine “Die Fackel”. In it he dealt critically, ironically and sometimes bitterly with the developments of his time. His topics were journalism and war, sex and crime, politics and corruption as well as literature and lies. In 1902 he wrote in an article entitled “Die Journaille” about “the devastation of the state by the press mafia” and passed this term on to the linguistic usage (1). The word “Journaille” refers to journalists who spread degrading and scandalous falsehoods or half-truths. They are described as irresponsible, hungry for sensation and acting unfairly. Demagogic or political motives are also attributed to them.

But not only Karl Kraus, also the great militant woman and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Bertha von Suttner, described the press – already in 1889 – as a “tool of the War Ministry”, and warned in her rousing appeal “Lay Down your Arms!” against the mass communication media, which were “in the service of the stupefying of the masses, of agitation and hate propaganda”. According to Bertha von Suttner, man is obliged to be a “peace maker” to man, a man who gives peace, makes peace, brings peace (2). Journalists in particular would also be obliged to do so.

But mass media, through their reporting and language, still contribute decisively to the creation of enemy images up to the encouragement of bloody revolutions, which can suddenly lead to (civil) wars. Presidents who do not submit to the US dictate are criminalized and demonized for months or years on behalf of criminal clients of the Deep State: Putin, Assad, Maduro or even the president of small Serbia are just a few current examples. And we all know the tragic fates of the former presidents of Iraq, Serbia and the former Yugoslavia and Libya. After years of demonisation, they were killed. Their states were shattered, their countries destroyed, their populations murdered.

“We live in an age of media mass stupefaction.”
The targeted disinformation of citizens is just as destructive, dangerous to democracy and dangerous as hate propaganda and the creation of enemy images. The globally respected journalist, Orientalist and author Peter Scholl-Latour, warned in a “ZEIT” interview on the occasion of his 90th birthday on 9 March 2014:
“We live in an age of mass stupefaction, especially media mass stupefaction. (…) If you look at the one-sided way in which the local media, from “TAZ” to “WELT”, report on events in Ukraine, then you can really report on disinformation on a large scale, flanked by the technical possibilities of the digital age, then you can only conclude that globalization has led to a sadly ordinary provincialization of the media world. Similar things have happened and continue to happen in Syria and other trouble spots.”(3)
Mass media could make an important contribution to the education and encouragement of the people, since the media are committed to the truthful information of us citizens and to peace according to national and international agreements. But the opposite is the case. They take no responsibility for the common good of humanity.

How can people draw hope and think about the essential things in life, if they are only disinformed by the mass media, distracted and stuffed with unfit for life information garbage (“circenses”)? Only if humans have enough knowledge and education, they can draw from it consequences for their personal and also social acting, something new to tackle. The educated and independently thinking person, who must also be a humane thinking and feeling person, will gladly cooperate in developing a better social order.

The voice of their masters
I know a whole series of exemplary journalists who are committed to truth, objective reporting and peace. But their enlightening analyses are not to be found in the mass media, but in alternative media or on websites such as “Global Research (https://www.globalresearch.ca)“. But those who see through the game of the powerful and their medial helpers are very quickly dismissed as “conspiracy theorists” and as intellectuals in love with their theories and pompously pompous. This manslaughter argument was already introduced in 1967 by the CIA by means of a secret handout to discredit doubters.

And the dubious and unethical journalists of the mass media? Are they bought and are the mass media directed by politicians, secret services and high finance, as the former “”FAZ journalist Udo Ulfkotte claimed in his sensational book “Bought Journalists” in 2014? He spoke from his own experience. Then it would be “press whores” or “presstitutes” who chum up the powerful, go to bed with them.

I myself am of the opinion that these irresponsibly acting journalists do not lie, but rather obey the orders or constraints of their masters like servants. Didn’t US Secretary of State Pompeo recently give a brief glimpse of the CIA’s approach when he said in a panel discussion with students from Texas A&M University in College Station (USA), which is considered a recruitment hotbed for the CIA’s foreign intelligence service:
“When I was a cadet at West Point, (…) what is the motto of the West Point cadets? Don’t lie, don’t cheat, don’t steal and don’t tolerate those who do. I was director of the CIA. We lied, stole and cheated. It was as if there had been proper courses. It reminds us of the glory of the American experiment.”(4)
The real liars, deceivers, thieves – or rather criminals – are the powerful of this world. And the journalists of the relevant mass media are the voice of their masters. But that does not mean releasing them from their responsibility for the common good. They are jointly responsible for all the consequences of their irresponsible actions.

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has begun responding to queries by the press about a leaked document which contradicts official OPCW findings on an alleged chemical weapons attack last year in Douma, Syria. The prepared statement they've been using in response to these queries confirms the authenticity of the document.

To recap, a few days ago the Working Group on Syria, Propaganda and Media (WGSPM) published (http://syriapropagandamedia.org/working-papers/assessment-by-the-engineering-sub-team-of-the-opcw-fact-finding-mission-investigating-the-alleged-chemical-attack-in-douma-in-april-2018) a document (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ayBv-nEOMTtIc-QOvejQBdCnZQXTuJ5z/view) signed by a man named Ian Henderson, whose name is seen listed in expert leadership positions on OPCW documents from as far back as 1998 (http://www.sussex.ac.uk/Units/spru/hsp/documents/cbwcb39.pdf) and as recently as 2018 (https://www.opcw.org/sites/default/files/documents/SAB/en/sab-27-wp01_e_.pdf). It's unknown who leaked the document and what other media organizations they may have tried to send it to.

The report picks apart the extremely shaky physics and narratives of the official OPCW analysis (https://twitter.com/ClimateAudit/status/1127926031661318144) on the gas cylinders allegedly dropped from Syrian government aircraft in the Douma attack, and concludes that

"The dimensions, characteristics and appearance of the cylinders, and the surrounding scene of the incidents, were inconsistent with what would have been expected in the case of either cylinder being delivered from an aircraft," saying instead that manual placement of the cylinders in the locations investigators found them in is "the only plausible explanation for observations at the scene."
To be clear, this means that according to the assessment signed by an OPCW-trained expert, the cylinders alleged to have dispensed poison gas which killed dozens of people in Douma did not arrive in the locations that they were alleged to have arrived at via aircraft dropped by the Syrian government, but via manual placement by people on the ground, where photographs were then taken and circulated around the world as evidence against the Syrian government which was used to justify air strikes by the US, UK and France (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_missile_strikes_against_Syria).

There were swift military consequences meted out on what appears now to be a lie. At the time, the people on the ground were the Al Qaeda-linked (https://southfront.org/jaysh-al-islam-officially-unites-with-al-qaeda-in-eastern-ghouta/) Jaysh Al-Islam, who had at that point nothing to lose and everything to gain by staging a false flag attack in a last-ditch attempt to get NATO powers to function as their air force, since they'd already effectively lost the battle against the Syrian government.

“It is hard to overstate the significance of this revelation,” tweets former British MP George Galloway of a new report by the Working…
medium.com
We now have confirmation that, for whatever the reason may be, this assessment was hidden from the public by the OPCW.

British journalists Peter Hitchens (https://hitchensblog.mailonsunday.co.uk/2019/05/strange-news-from-the-opcw-in-the-hague-.html) and Brian Whitaker (https://twitter.com/Brian_Whit/status/1129018874387677184) have both published matching statements from the OPCW on this report. Hitchens has been an outspoken critic of the establishment Syria narrative; Whittaker has been a virulent promulgator of it. The statement begins as a very mundane and obvious assertion that it takes information from numerous sources and then publishes its conclusions, but concludes with an admission that it is "conducting an internal investigation about the unauthorized release of the document in question." This constitutes an admission that the document is authentic.

Here is the text of the statement in full; the portion I'm drawing attention to is in the second-to-last paragraph:
The OPCW establishes facts surrounding allegations of the use of toxic chemicals for hostile purposes in the Syrian Arab Republic through the Fact-Finding Mission (FFM), which was set up in 2014.

The OPCW Technical Secretariat reaffirms that the FFM complies with established methodologies and practices to ensure the integrity of its findings. The FFM takes into account all available, relevant, and reliable information and analysis within the scope of its mandate to determine its findings.

Per standard practice, the FFM draws expertise from different divisions across the Technical Secretariat as needed. All information was taken into account, deliberated, and weighed when formulating the final report regarding the incident in Douma, Syrian Arab Republic, on 7 April 2018. On 1 March 2019, the OPCW issued its final report on this incident, signed by the Director-General.

Per OPCW rules and regulations, and in order to ensure the privacy, safety, and security of personnel, the OPCW does not provide information about individual staff members of the Technical Secretariat

Pursuant to its established policies and practices, the OPCW Technical Secretariat is conducting an internal investigation about the unauthorised release of the document in question.

At this time, there is no further public information on this matter and the OPCW is unable to accommodate requests for interviews. This should be a major news headline all around the world, but of course it is not. As of this writing the mass media have remained deathly silent about the document despite its enormous relevance to an international headline story last year which occupied many days of air time. It not only debunks a major news story that had military consequences, it casts doubt on a most esteemed international independent investigative body and undermines the fundamental assumptions behind many years of western reporting in the area. People get lazy about letting the media tell them what's important and they assume if it's not in the news, it's not a big deal. This is a big deal, this is a major story and it is going unreported, which makes the media's silence a part of the story as well.

Also conspicuously absent from discussion has been the war propaganda firm Bellingcat, which is usually the first to put the most establishment-friendly spin possible on any development in this area. If Eliot Higgins can't even work out how to polish this turd, you know it's a steamer.

zWrDRSkgP9U

As near as I can tell the kindest possible interpretation of these revelations is that an expert who has worked with the OPCW for decades gave an engineering assessment which directly contradicted the official findings of the OPCW (http://syriapropagandamedia.org/working-papers/briefing-note-on-the-final-report-of-the-opcw-fact-finding-mission-on-the-alleged-chemical-attack-in-douma-in-april-2018) on Douma, but OPCW officials didn't find his assessment convincing for whatever reason and hid every trace of it from public view. That's the least sinister possibility: that a sharp dissent from a distinguished expert within the OPCW's own investigation was completely hidden from the public because the people calling the shots at the OPCW didn't want to confuse us with a perspective they didn't find credible. This most charitable interpretation possible is damningly unacceptable by itself, because the public should obviously be kept informed of any possible evidence which may contradict the reasons they were fed to justify an act of war by powerful governments.

And there are many far less charitable interpretations. It is not in the slightest bit unreasonable to speculate that the ostensibly independent OPCW in fact serves the interests of the US-centralized power alliance, and that it suppressed the Henderson report because it pokes holes in the narratives that are used to demonize a longtime target for imperialist regime change. That is a perfectly reasonable possibility for us to wonder about, and the onus is now on the OPCW to prove to us that it is not the case.

Either way, the fact that the OPCW kept Henderson's findings from receiving not a whisper of attention severely undermines the organization's credibility, not just with regard to Douma but with regard to everything, including the establishment Syria narrative as a whole and the Skripal case in the UK. Everything the OPCW has ever concluded about alleged chemical usage around the world is now subject to very legitimate skepticism.
"The leaked OPCW engineers' assessment is confirmed as genuine, which means the final report actively concealed evidence that the Douma chemical attack was staged by jihadists and the White Helmets," tweeted (https://twitter.com/Jonathan_K_Cook/status/1129059321969565697) British journalist Jonathan Cook.

"The OPCW's other Syria reports must now be treated as worthless too."
When I first reported on the Henderson document the other day, I received a fair criticism from a Medium user (https://medium.com/@ianstuartperkins/this-article-doesnt-really-express-just-how-damning-the-report-actually-is-6fee2e18256e) that I was actually far too charitable in my reporting on just how thoroughly the official Douma narrative was rejected.
"This article doesn't really express just how damning the report actually is," the user said.

"It's much more than just on balance their observations are inconsistent with the cylinders being dropped from aircraft. Just about everything about the official narrative is shown to be plain impossible, from the angles of the broken rebar in the roof, through the damage to the gas cylinders, to the pile of fins on the balcony that couldn't have been attached to the cylinder, and more. There's simply no way they were dropped from helicopters."
I strongly encourage readers to check out the 15-page document for themselves (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ayBv-nEOMTtIc-QOvejQBdCnZQXTuJ5z/view) to understand its claims and make up their own minds, and then sit a bit to really digest the possible implications. We may have just discovered a major piece of the puzzle explaining how seemingly independent international organizations help deceive us into consenting to wars and regime change interventionism around the world.

The narrative that Syrian president Bashar al-Assad is a monster who gasses his own people has been used to justify western interventionism in that nation which has included arming actual terrorist groups, enabling them to leave a trail of blood and chaos across Syria, as well as an illegal occupation of Syrian land and sanctions against the Syrian economy. This narrative is being used currently to maintain support for continuing to uphold the crippling sanctions that are making life hell for the average Syrian, today. This is not in the past, this is happening now (https://www.france24.com/en/20190415-syria-imposes-new-fuel-rations-sanctions-bite), and there is no telling when these siege efforts towards regime change will be ramped up further into more overt forms of military action. The violence, displacement and economic hardship that is being inflicted upon the Syrian people by this interventionism is causing incalculably immense suffering, and it is all made possible by false narratives sold to the public (https://medium.com/@caityjohnstone/five-reasons-to-be-absolutely-certain-that-the-establishment-is-lying-about-syria-46402a4c7888).

Remember, they wouldn't work so hard to manufacture your consent if they didn't require that consent.

So, don't give it to them. The first step to ending the suffering caused by western interventionism is to help free public consciousness from the incredibly complex and well-oiled propaganda machine which manufactures the consent of the governed for unconscionable acts of violence and devastation. Wake people up to what's going on so we can all cease consenting.

Oh, not that I'm a Language expert or anything, LOL, but if you read the comments to the video concerning the "Floor Markings", apparently what's written there just before the Israeli flag it says "Death to Israel" and a reason given why it's on the floor is so that the Iranian soldiers can "stomp on it with their boots" ?

I did a little Google translate and got the following :

It is very confusing trying to reconcile a social engineering campaign with corporate profits... the two don't really mix; I have to believe the braintrust in these corporations understand this. You’ve been lied to: Walrus suicide NOT caused by climate change as Attenborough story quietly revised. What else is a lie? (https://www.rt.com/op-ed/472795-walrus-suicide-climate-change-lies/)

Footage of walruses driven to suicide by climate change broke the world’s heart last year, only for the story to be quietly revised. But if media lied about walrus suicides, what else are they lying about?

Renowned nature documentarian David Attenborough probably converted a few climate skeptics with his heartrending footage of walruses, their habitat decimated by climate change, throwing themselves off cliffs in despair in the 2018 Netflix documentary Our Planet.

qVJzQc9ELTE
Unfortunately, the story was untrue. Walruses regularly take to the water as part of their seasonal migration, and some plummet to their doom in their hurry to escape predators like polar bears, which sometimes hunt their prey by triggering a stampede (http://siberiantimes.com/ecology/others/news/village-besieged-by-polar-bears-as-hundreds-of-terrorised-walruses-fall-38-metres-to-their-deaths/) off a precipice.

Some eagle-eyed viewers (https://www.thegwpf.com/camera/) noted that the placement of Attenborough’s camera crew might have also left his walruses with no choice but to jump off the cliff, since humans were blocking the beach. With polar bears menacing them inland, the walruses could have been caught between the proverbial rock and hard place.

Other sleuths found the filmmakers had engaged in some editing trickery to make it seem that the ‘desperate’ walruses going ashore to the dangerous cliffs were just around the corner from the packed 100,000-strong colony showcased in the documentary. In fact, the two locations were 400 hundred kilometers apart in Russia’s Far East.

The persistence of a handful of climate change skeptics seems to have shamed Attenborough into revising his explanation of the pinniped tragedy. In a more recent BBC documentary Seven Worlds, One Planet, he explains the walrus mass suicide as a consequence of marauding polar bears – another species supposedly on the edge of extinction because of climate change but apparently doing quite well.

IatVKZZcPG0
Attenborough wasn’t the first to depict the walruses’ death dive as the tragic result of manmade global warming – the group Climate Progress was using the tale (https://thinkprogress.org/stranded-walrus-are-a-new-phenomenon-and-we-don-t-know-how-bad-it-will-get-c0e380176077/) to tug at heartstrings as early as 2014, calling the yearly walrus retreats to the land a “real change.” That sob story, too, was debunked – walrus “haul-outs” are actually a sign of healthy population growth, their numbers having rebounded (http://landscapesandcycles.net/hijacking-successful-walrus-conservation.html) since the outlawing of large-scale hunting, though that didn’t stop the climate change contingent from trying to claim that the makeup of the walrus population was unusual this time, with more females and calves, and maybe that was because of climate change.

Environmental activists tearing their hair out about “climate change deniers” fail to take into account the frequency with which the media gets climate change wrong. Attenborough’s walruses are just the latest flub in a long history of green fables that have evaporated on closer examination. Former vice president turned environmental crusader Al Gore famously predicted (https://dailycaller.com/2016/05/03/an-inconvenient-review-after-10-years-al-gores-film-is-still-alarmingly-inaccurate/) New York would be underwater in the near future due to a 20-foot rise in sea levels, declaring in 2008 that the North Pole would go completely ice-free within five years. Gore has become a very rich man off his holdings in solar energy, which ballooned in value following the release of his film An Inconvenient Truth – a film so full of errors a UK judge would only allow (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/earth/earthnews/3310137/Al-Gores-nine-Inconvenient-Untruths.html) it to be showed in schools with “guidance notes to prevent political indoctrination.”

The familiar “hockey stick” graph, used by climate change alarmists to claim that global temperatures have been rising rapidly since the industrial revolution, was dealt a near-fatal blow in 2009 with the release (https://wikileaks.org/wiki/Climatic_Research_Unit_emails,_data,_models,_1996-2009) of internal emails from the University of East Anglia’s climate research division. The emails revealed the scientists had ‘edited’ the Earth’s historical temperature record to fit their theories, a scandal that has come to be known as ClimateGate. These scientists worked with the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change – the group whose recent report warned humanity we have 12 years to act before irreversible climate change dooms us all to temperature increases incompatible with life.

Sure, one could believe the IPCC has cut out the misbehaving climate superstars and restricted itself to reliable science this time. Certainly mainstream media has all but forgotten about the ClimateGate emails, eager to lure in more viewers with climate catastrophe and theatrical Extinction Rebellion protests, but “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me,” as they say…

Mainstream media has been caught lying about seemingly everything – from labeling a Kentucky weapons demonstration as Turkish shelling of helpless Kurds, to flogging the “Russian collusion” hoax long past its sell-by date, to blaming hurricanes on climate change. Trust in the media is at historic lows; a poll (https://www.cjr.org/special_report/how-does-journalism-happen-poll.php) conducted by the Columbia Journalism Review earlier this year found less confidence in the press than any other institution, including Congress.

So while scientists have been adamant climate change is a real phenomenon, and it’s entirely possible the humans are contributing to it to some extent, it is difficult for many who’ve been lied to by the media for their entire lives to believe that this time and this time only, they’re telling the truth.

Under these conditions, it’s surprising anyone believes in climate change at all.

Most, (if not all) MSM Fake News depends heavily on Fake Fact Checkers to justify their (propaganda) operation 24/7.

* all provable false assumptions & accusations (endless misrepresentations) made by Fake News will mostly (if not all) unchallenged by the so called "independent" 'Fact Checkers' partially funded by Bill & Melinda Gates (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?110573-Look-Who-s-Coming-to-the-Rescue--Bill-Gates...) almost all attacks on the mainstream narrative will be "flagged" by Fake Fact Checkers working for Twitter, Facebook & YouTube to justify: comment ghosting, shadow banning, de-listing, de-platforming, censorships, deletings, banning etc. etc.
to help "cancel culture" to go rampant: people losing their revenue for having adifferent point of view.

I cannot watch this sycophantic ‘common-purposed’ stupid-fest of deniability. These poor so-called ‘journalists/presenters’ are so pre-programmed it is pathetic. Their desperation is leaking, but what are they going to do when their careers are in tatters, their opinions proven false, they are fakes?

It is their correctional apocalypse moment or it is our apocalypse moment as a species.

Facebook Shuts Down Page for GOP Senate Campaigns Just Before Georgia Runoffs

"Facebook shut down a fundraising page for Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.) just days before voters head to the polls to decide between the Republicans and their Democratic challengers.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) runs the Georgia Battleground Fund, a joint fundraising committee for the NRSC and the campaigns for Loeffler and Perdue.

According to a screenshot from the committee, Facebook alerted them that the page for the fund was disabled “for policy violation.”

The page allegedly violated a policy against unacceptable business practices.

“We don’t allow ads that promote products, services, schemes, or offers using deceptive or misleading practices, including those meant to mislead or scam people out of money or personal information,” the alert said.

“Big Tech is at it again,” the NRSC said in a statement. “This is unacceptable with only four days to Election Day.”

A Facebook spokesperson told news outlets that what happened was a mistake.

“An automated error caused this ad account to be disabled,” the spokesperson said. “The account has since been restored.”

The Jan. 5 runoff elections could determine which party controls the Senate.

Republicans hold a 50-48 edge in the upper chamber in the next Congress. If Democrats win both runoffs and the White House, they’d control the Senate by virtue of the tiebreaking vote the vice president, acting as the president of the Senate, can cast.

Democrats maintained a majority in the House of Representatives, though their edge got slimmer.

Loeffler is being challenged by pastor Raphael Warnock while Perdue is facing filmmaker Jon Ossoff."

(SO: "A Facebook spokesperson told news outlets that what happened was a mistake.'An automated error caused this ad account to be disabled,' the spokesperson said. 'The account has since been restored.'” Very convenient to blame AI for their blatant censorship. I wonder how long that flimsy excuse is going to work for them? )

"President Donald Trump has ordered the declassification of previously confidential documents related to “Crossfire Hurricane,” the FBI’s investigation of his 2016 campaign.

The move comes on his last night in office.

The materials were not immediately made known to the public.

The Department of Justice provided the White House on Dec. 30, 2020, with a binder of materials related to the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, portions of which were classified and not released to Congress or the public, Trump said in a memorandum for the attorney general, the director of National Intelligence, and the director of the CIA.

“I requested the documents so that a declassification review could be performed and so I could determine to what extent materials in the binder should be released in unclassified form,” Trump said in the memo. “I determined that the materials in that binder should be declassified to the maximum extent possible.”

Trump said that the FBI, in a response letter on Jan. 17, “noted its continuing objection to any further declassification of the materials in the binder and also, on the basis of a review that included Intelligence Community equities, identified the passages that it believed it was most crucial to keep from public disclosure.”

“I have determined to accept the redactions proposed for continued classification by the FBI in that January 17 submission,” Trump said. “I hereby declassify the remaining materials in the binder. This is my final determination under the declassification review and I have directed the Attorney General to implement the redactions proposed in the FBI’s January 17 submission and return to the White House an appropriately redacted copy.”

The president added, “My decision to declassify materials within the binder is subject to the limits identified above and does not extend to materials that must be protected from disclosure pursuant to orders of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and does not require the disclosure of certain personally identifiable information or any other materials that must be protected from disclosure under applicable law. Accordingly, at my direction, the Attorney General has conducted an appropriate review to ensure that materials provided in the binder may be disclosed by the White House in accordance with applicable law.”

The FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane counterintelligence investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign was launched in July 2016 to investigate allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential elections, including possible links between Russia and any political campaigns.

The investigation was taken over in May 2017 by then-special counsel and former FBI Director Robert Mueller. By April 2019, he concluded that the investigation found no evidence to establish that Trump or his campaign had knowingly conspired or coordinated with the Russian government to sway the outcome of the election, although the Russian government was found to have interfered in the 2016 election."
